Empties

 Hello,

it is the end of the first moth and I managed to use quite a lot of products.

First is Korres Peach Blossom body lotion. I liked thin texture but the scent wasn't what I was expecting. Sweet and slightly fruity but it did not reminded me of Pears or Blossoms, still nice but a little underwhelming just like the previous scents that I have tried from Korres.

Next bottle took me a while to finish up and I am glad because it was expensive. It is Byredo Gypsy Water hair perfume. It reminded me of a fancy spa, refreshing and still warm scent. I loved putting it in my hair and going to bed to relax and sleep. I would get it again but it is pricey and it does not last long. Maybe I will get a perfume version which is probably stronger.

In the tall bottle is Ziaja Cucumber toner and I mostly used it in my spray bottle and spray it over my fresh make-up to hydrate it. I liked it for that but it was nothing too special.

Lastly there are two Biobaza deodorants, first is Winter Magic creamy deodorant with candy cane scent and second is Silky Comfort with Shea butter and Jojoba. I liked the scents but formula did not work for me. I was still sweating because these aren't antiperspirants and I am okay with it but my armpits stank. I have never had deodorants or antiperspirants that would made it worst, honestly I would rather be without than wearing these.

Bottle with pipette is my daily serum with Niacinamide from Revox. It was slightly sticky but after it absorbed it was not detectable and I was able to layer a face cream over it. I really liked it and will buy it again.

White tube is another staple of mine and it is Bioderma sensibio anti redness cream. I had this years ago and I remember this lotion being very greasy so I guess they changed it and made it easier to absorb. I like this new version better and I think I have another tube somewhere already.

Cute cat is Skin79 soothing BB cream. It was not the best for when my skin was dry and flaky because it accentuates that but otherwise I liked it a lot. The shade was a nice match and I liked to use it under my foundation. I would get it again.

Banilla co. Miss Flower & Mr. Honey propolis rejuvenating essence toner was a gift with purchase and the first thing when I opened it is the lovely scent. Very floral honey like and I noticed that it gave my skin a hydration boost, when I use up some other toners and essences I will get this one again.

Golden bottle is Alexandre J.  The Majestic Amber perfume, ambery and sweet scent, at first quite sharp. Not my favorite but nice for longevity. I was glad that I used it up but probably I will not be getting it again.

Last is Avon revitacool base coat. This one is yellow toned and unfortunately it looks like that also on my nails and yellow tone is what I try to avoid and not to add on, so I decided to throw it away since I would rather use something clear or pink toned.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day

Empties

 Hello,

below are my monthly empties, this time right on time :)

First pot is Pantene hair biology full & vibrant hair mask and the scent is very nice (it also stays and lingers the next day). I like the texture which is thick and it stays put for a while I am showering and shaving. It does give me some hydration but I felt like I had to use a little more (in my head I am comparing it with the blue set that I had used up previously). I liked the mask but the blue one was better for me.

Next is the matching shampoo from Pantene hair biology full & vibrant shampoo. It has the same lovely scent and the texture is not too liquid to run down my fingers. I noticed that after I dry my hair or the very next day my hair just don't look like they used to. They look like I am on my second or third day already... I feel like it didn't properly cleaned my hair so I will not be buying this shampoo again. The mask was nice but overall the blue set worked better for me and I will get it again over this pink one.

I purchased some Moroccanoil products and I have received this intense hydrating mask for free. It has their signature scent which I liked a lot and I was using it along with the pink set but also with another cleansing shampoo which is not yet finished and it gave me a nice kick of hydration. I am not so sure about this one. It worked but I don't think it was super spectacular.

Second to last is Avon care avocado replenishing body wash and I had to count (I checked my blog history to find out) to see that this one is my fourth bottle. I really like it since this creamy scent reminds me of Carolina Herrera Good Girl perfume. This big bottle last me a long time and I think I have another bottle somewhere in my stash.

Lastly there is Dove Peach & White Blossom antiperspirant roll-on. It had a fresh Peach scent and it was gorgeous. I started using something else but it didn't work for me so I switched to this one and it worked. Not only I smelled nice but my body odor was nowhere to be detected and I love that. I need to get back to Dove (I remember having some in the past and I always liked them) and especially this particular scent.

It has been a while since I purchased something from The Body Shop and I have decided to go through some of their products before they go bad. In a tin pan is Wild Jasmin body butter which I purchased online because if I would see it in person I probably wouldn't. First the scent is nothing special and somewhat artificial but when I put it on me and started melting into my skin it started to smell really really nice. Sweet Jasmine smelled really comfortable and perfect to go to bed. I loved how my pj smelled in the morning, I would like to get it again.

Next is another The Body Shop item. This Coconut lotion had a very artificial scent and I didn't like it one bit. The plastic touch was awful and I couldn't stomach it. I will blame it on the age of the product because if I would use it sooner it would probably still be okay but it was over its prime and I had to throw it away.

On top is Frudia peach hand cream with the light texture (white lid). A while ago I bought a full set and this one is I think my last one or one of the last ones. It had beautiful Peach scent (it ties with the deo) and even people around me commented at how nice it smelled. I liked the texture, very light, wast absorbing and hydrating. I will get it again among some other scents but this Peach one was one of my favorites for sure.

Underneath there is Teaology Peach tea hydra cream. In the past I had a mini and I liked it enough to purchase the big one but apparently now my skin was a bit too dry and this cream didn't hydrate me enough. When I put a serum under this cream it did not want to stick to it, it was best to use on dry skin and then it completely dried and my skin still felt a bit thirsty. I probably will not buy it again, I still prefer the matcha green gel.

Bottle is The Ordinary Argireline solution 10%. I heard a lot about it and I had to get it. It is like water so I had to be careful not to spill it, thanks for the pipette I was less clumsy. I used it around my eyes, on my forehead, around my smile lines and what was left I 'wiped' on my neck. I think I noticed a difference around my eyes and on my forehead and I like that. I already bought a new bottle.

Next is another used up Catrice ultra last fixing spray. I go through these like water but it is okay since they are inexpensive and they work for me. I still have a bunch of backups so I am good for a while but I also have some other fixing sprays, from other brands but this one I trust and I am already using a new bottle.

Last two are perfume bottles. First is Michael Kors Gorgeous! with white floral notes (I can pick up sweet Tuberose which is one of my favorites) and some tobacco notes. I find this one different than anything in my collection and it will be missed but I have already too many bottles. Maybe when I get through some more I will get Super Gorgeous! which is supposed to be a bit stronger and deeper.

Travel bottle is Replica On a date. I feel for it after I tried the sample and purchased 30ml bottle and later I bought a set with another 30ml and this travel version. It is a fruity (blackcurrant) and sweet rose scent. Surprisingly long lasting scent and really juicy. I am glad that I have two more bottles so I will not have to miss this gorgeous scent.

Empties

 Hello,

for this second half of May I have accumulated way more products than in the first part.

First is the L'oreal elseve bond repair conditioner. This is third in line that I have used up and I really like it. This conditioner has a thicker creamier texture compared to the pre-shower treatment and because of that I prefer this one. I can at least see it sticking to my hair, shave in the mean time and rinse. My hair really like this elseve hair bonding line and I have already bought some more. I still have leave-in treatment from the line and soon I will have to get more.

Pink bottle of L'oreal proffesional vitamino color shampoo was a free gift with purchase and it was meant for color treated hair. I have never dyed my hair but I guess if it is moisturising it can't hurt. It had a nice scent and washed my hair but I haven't noticed any difference so it is safe to say that it didn't convince me.

I had high hopes for this Afrodita enzyme face washing foam. I discovered that I like enzyme scrubs and I thought that this would be nice two for one. I think it was low on the enzymes because they recommend  daily use and because of that the results weren't really visible. I had to use it on clean face (it didn't remove make-up) so it felt like a extra step which didn't show me visible results. I was a bit disappointed simply because I am used to almost instant

I have used up another bottle of my beloved Catrice ultra last fixing spray. I have gone through so many of them and I still have a lot of backups because I am scared that they will replace it with something new. This is so far the best at keeping my make-up in place, if I spray too much it can feel like hair spray but that also makes it last longer.

I used up my deo to the last drop (I had to turn it upside dow to get it all out) becuase I really liked it. it is Nivea pearl & beauty anti-perspirant. It is supposed to be very gentle (no burning sensation or rashes) and the scent is also ver gentle and creamy smelling. I like it a lot, my only complaint would be the curved lid which makes it hard to use all the way up (it doesn't sit on its head, I had to put it upside down in a thick glass jar, thick because this one has a very thick bottle and is heavy).

Brown plastic bottle is The Body Shop Polynesian monoi radiance oil. It is very greasy and slick, I no longer enjoy oils all over my body so I used it in the shower (after taking a shower) on still wet skin. I would lather up, rinse the excess and pat myself dry. That was the only way I could use it up and I didn't need to use lotion afterwards. The scent was tropical monoi which I like a lot but probably I won't be getting this oil again but if they will come out with the lotion version I probably would get it.

Last cream tube is Narciso Rodrigues body lotion in Narciso scent. I have purchased this one with the perfume but the perfume is in a different scent and they smell similar but not alike (it is the orange cube-Ambree). The Narciso perfume is already discontinued and I just fallen in love with it :( I really enjoyed this lotion and its scent, so much that now I am eying another tube of lotion and I already purchased hair mist in Narciso scent and it is very close.

I had this limited edition Essence compact for years now. It belonged to their winter dreamin' collection and included highlighter and at the bottom blush. On the photo below I have made swatches and first is highlighter which came across a bit too cool toned. In reality it had a bit peachier base and cool reflex, maybe not as white as shown below. I absolutely loved it and used it mostly daily until I scrapped off the last bits. Under the highlighter there was a blush pan with a red shade. I get the wintery theme and red cold cheeks but I didn't like the look, plus the blush was too pigmented for my liking so I didn't use the blush much. The highlighter which was my favorite part is gone and I am decluttering this duo.

Next is Paese nanorevit lip balm in Light Pink. I haven't found another shade but the product looks somewhat pink/lilac, lighter version of the packaging. At first it feels a bit waxy but it melts, leaves a slight shine but it does disappear after around 20 min. It was promising but poor longevity made me give it less stars. Next comes the taste, I noticed bad, plasticky taste after reapplying and it was bad. Thankfully it had a little product and I was done with it quite fast. I will not be buying it again, since there was not a lot of things I would like about. The packaging was the best.

Last tube I saved for last because I really liked it. It is Bioderma atoderm restorative lip balm in a squeezy tube. The balm is slightly milky but on the lips it is clear. There is slightly creamy scent but no taste at all. My lips felt and looked hydrated, dry and cracked lip corners were healed after a few layers and I couldn't be happier. This tube also lasted me a long time, taken in consideration the price this one is totally worth it for me and has become one of my favorites.

First swatch of Essence is my beloved highlighter and second one is reddish blush hidden below the compartment. I just didn't like the look of it on myself and also when I purchased it it was more pigmented and hard to handle for blending. Now I would try i again but since the highlighter is gone I am more excited to recycle this packaging than to keep it around :)

Empties

 Hello,

I got a bit lazy and I decided to join both empties posts into one. First photo features products used in the first half and second photo shows products used at the end of the month.

First of there is Balea Flower Dream body wash and shampoo. I only used it as a body was and even though it implies floral scent to me it smelled like fresh Raspberries. I really liked it and I would get it again in a heartbeat.

Next is a staple of mine, Beauty Glam Niacinamide serum, I love adding it to my night time routine under heavier creams to smooth my texture and help with sensitivity of my skin. I already have a new bottle of it and when it will be on sale I am getting it again.

Third is my beloved Dr. Grandel ferment peeling. It comes in a glass and inside is thin white powder when mixed with water it gets activated. The foam is super thin and light, I just massage it onto my face and rinse afterwards, my skin is immediately smoother and what I like it is how gentle it is. No particles and no burning, my sensitive skin approves and this is my second bottle already. These last for about one year so for me it is money well spent.

Tube is Frudia Mango lip balm. It is a thick product with barely there fruity scent (I hopped for a stronger and juicer scent) but I did like the which texture, perfect for night time. More often than not I would wake up with product still on and that is something I like. My lips never looked dry or chapped afterwards so formula is right. Next time I would like to try some other versions as well, I am tempted by Grape version.

Last in line is Catrice Illuminating blush in the shade I'm nuts about you. Lovely peach shade which added some brightness to my face. I really grow to like this blush as I think it looked really nice against my skin tone. In a way it will be missed but I'm also very excited to wear something else, maybe pink blush.

One of my favourite dry shampoos is this Batiste blush option. Fresh Peony scent and well known and loved formula. I already have a few backups of it, it just shows my love.

Second is Balea perfumed deodorant. This is my second and last bottle of it, I purchased it of well know Mugler Alien scent but I don't trust this formula enough to wear it on its own. Usually I would top my other deos with it to add some scent. I also have lotion with this scent and I enjoy it very much.

Avon advance technique smooth as silk hair oil is the bomb. In the past I have used up a few bottles of it and I sill like it. My hair loves it and look less brittle or dry if I use it. I got into a habit of using it on clean damp hair every time I wash them and my hair look healthy and happy (if that is possible).

Last is my beloved Catrice ultra last fixing spray. It does feel like hairspray but with right dosage it is not noticeable and my make-up lasts all day long. I already have 10+ backups of it :) Talk about obsessed ;)

Empties

 Hello,

it is time for my empties. There are some big bottles included and they took me long time to finish them up but fortunately I liked both of them.

I purchased this Nuxe body revitalising nourishing milk with green tea extract a while ago but it took me quite long time to finish it up (actually it isn't completely gone since there is still product inside but I can't pump it out, I will have to tilt it and pour it out into some other container to use it all up). It had a slight green scent which isn't my favourite but it did absorb into my skin fast and kept it nourished. Towards the end I was using another scented lotion over it to compensate for the scent. It isn't a bad lotion, my only complaint is the scent which isn't unpleasant but I like something else.

Big black bottle is Avon advance techniques miracle defender shampoo for fuller and thicker look since my hair are thin and lack volume. It was a nice shampoo and my hair liked it but it is already discontinued so I won't be able to get it again. At the moment I'm using something with Honey and I prefer the new bottle so even if I would have a chance I would not get it again.

Next in line is Estee Lauder enlighten, dark spot correcting night serum. It worked as a serum for evening out my skin tone all over and as a dark spot corrective (for targeted areas and for my whole face to match with the rest of my body) with consistent use it also helped to reduce my redness. I was very pleased with this item and it is such a shame that I can't find it again, it seems like it is discontinued :(

Bloomin Garden is a limited edition hand cream from my favourite Avon care soothing line and it is their standard Jasmin & Glycerine version. I like the change of packaging but the content seems to stay the same. It is fast absorbing and nourishing enough hand cream with a light floral scent. Definitely my favourite together with Coconut and Banana version.

Second to last is Dove anti-perspirant with Lotus flower and Rice water scent. It is a roll-on product which is my preferred way and the scent for me is perfect. Very light (not strong in the sense that people across the room would smell me) but it is also gentle as a type. Sort of like a fabric softener, at the moment I'm already using something else and it doesn't compare with this one. I did not sweat much so full test was not made but still I like it enough to buy it again.

And the very last item is Alkemilla cosmetics lip balm in the Banana scent. It is a bit on the sweet like candy banana scent but still very nice, I have a problem with the texture since it is very hard and extra waxy. I would be okay with it if the harder texture would mean longevity but I have to constantly apply more and it bugs me. The scent is a plus for me but hard texture and applying it every 15 minutes bothers me soo much that I am willing to throw it away before finishing it up completely.

Empties

 Hello,

a little late, out of my regular schedule but nonetheless back with my empties list. It is short but sweet.

First is body wash from Dusch Das in my longtime favourite Magnolia scent. I went through countless of these and slowly I'm getting sick of this scent but I get nostalgic every once in a while. These are very inexpensive and they have a wide range of different scants to pick from, I will probably get more in the future and this particular Magnolia scent as well.

Purple bottle is limited edition Balea Golden Moon perfumed deodorant. I wanted to get the lotion (I did found one last tube) and while I was there already I also got myself this deodorant because of the lovely scent. It is a spot on Mugler Alien scent and I fell in love with it. This deo is not the best and I just layer it over my 'regular' deodorant, I have another bottle and when it is gone it is gone. I will not get it again because they aren't for me but the scent is really nice and what got me in the first place.

Last is Pflanzen Kosmetik von Mueller Wild Rose oil. I mostly used it for removing my make-up, occasionally as a moisturiser as well. It is also very inexpensive and already on my to buy list. I think it does the job, just like any other more expensive Rose oil that I have tried.

Empties

 Hello,

this month looks a bit sad in the empties department, my only consolation is that two products are quite large so I have been working on them for a long time and now the time has come to recycle these items.

First is Avon advance technique miracle densifier shampoo for fuller and thicker look of ones hair. I was a big fan of their shampoos and then every single one seemed too heavy and made my hair oil way faster so I stopped using their shampoos but I gave this one a chance and I really like it. It is a big bottle and it lasted me a super long time and I'm super happy that it worked for me. It cleansed my hair really well so the next day my hair looked all soft and there were no product buildup left but still my hair didn't look or feel like straw. Unfortunately this is discontinued but I managed to get another bottle. I think after that I will give Avon another chance and try something else (fingers crossed).

Next is long overdue The Body Shop Strawberry body butter. I was a bit upset because this doesn't have a strong Strawberry scent as it used to have... I think the previous packaging had a different scent. This one is more of a lotion Strawberry while before it was amplified real Strawberry and super fruity/juicy scent. It is still nice but not as special as it used to be. The formula is super thick and I also gravitate towards lighter more lotion like formulas so this one was a bit hard to get through but I managed and I am very glad. I will now use lighter lotions for the warmer part of the year and in the Autumn I will use the rest of my TBS butters and for a while I will be done with them. I just prefer lotions at the moment.

Third and last item is Dove invisible dry anti-perspirant. I still sweat but there is very little of my natural unpleasant odour. I like it for that but the scent on this one is not the most pleasant to my nose. Thankfully after a while I can no longer smell (I also put scented deodorant from a spray all over it to cover the scent and it does the trick for me), to me this one has a bit of a musky scent and I think with deo or anti-perspirants that is the scent we all try to avoid but like I said I cover it up with a different one on top and it works for me. I finished it up but I won't be buying it again.

Empties

 Hello,

we are already midway through first Spring month and I still don't feel in the Spring mood, for me the weather has to get a bit warmer to do it for me.

I recently talked about this Avon Legendary Lights mascara in black and just how much I love it. I had it for months and now it got a little too dry so I have to replace it but it still remains as one of my favourites. It looks very natural (it combs through, separate them and make them a bit longer, not a lot longer but a bit), very natural and just what I personally like for an everyday. I will get it again after I finish up my backup bottles.

Next is Balea Pink Blossom deodorant. They also had a lotion in this scent which I wanted but was too late... so out of dispair I bought this deo. This smells very similar to Lancome La Vie est Belle scent and that was the selling point for me ;) I still used 'regular' deodorant and just put this on top because the scent on this is pretty strong and I made sure I wore a similar fragrance with it and I didn't trust it enough to wear it on its own. I know buying deodorant just because of its scent is stupid but that is how I work ;)

Holika Holika is a brand that I used years ago (I loved their BB creams) and when I saw this face wash I just wanted to try it out. Thankfully it worked for me. It is Green Tea face wash meant for oily skin which I have. It removed everything from my skin (I used it in the morning to remove oil buildup and in the evening to remove my make-up) and it worked like a charm but never stripped my skin out. Absolutely great face wash, removes everything that needs to be removed but never dried out my skin.

Little black tube is Avon Luxuriously Refining eye gel mask. I love the gel texture because it sinks into my skin fast and I don' t always like greasy felling. The gel has a pink-purple shimmer (it is not glittery, more opalescent) and it is supposed to make your under eye area look a bit more refreshed but honestly after it sinks in I don't notice anything. For me this is a nice refreshing under eye product and I enjoyed it but now that it is gone I won't buy it again.

Next there is an Avocado lip balm from Alverde. In the past I had some lip balms from them and I remember not liking them and now I decided to give them another chance and I still don't like it. It is creamy, I do like the texture but I don't think it is moisturising enough because my lips get dry and flakey after a few hours of using this balm alone... that is a big no no from me.

The last item is another product from Avon and it is their Wild Strawberry Dreams body butter. It is quite thick and I used to love that type of texture but not anymore, I find it to greasy so I'm super glad to be done with it. The scent was nice though. It reminds me of a strawberry yoghurt.

Empties

 Hello,

I just got back from a short trip to the beachside and managed to finish up some SPF lotions, unfortunately none of these will be repurchased since I found others to suit me better.

First item is this large, 400 ml bottle of Ziaja Orange butter body lotion. It took me months to finish it up and I'm still not sick of it. Love the convenient pump and the lotion type of this moisturizer, it spread easily and nourished my skin (no dry or itchy skin) and the scent is mild but very lovely orange blossom type. Very nice to go to bed and sleep well with it. I will repurchase it.

Next is another Ziaja product but this one is sun cream for the face with high SPF 50 in a light shade. Surprisingly the shade is not orange at all and I can see people actually match this shade, for me it was still too dark but I'm pretty pale. Putting shade aside the formula was a bit weird. At first it looks nice but since it is a bit greasy (still it is a chemical sun protection with ingredient called Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzonate) it takes some rubbing to get it around and then the tint starts to separate and I just couldn't get an even application no matter how much I tried. There were areas full of tint and some without, it looked weird so at the end I just used it all over my legs and even then I had to be careful not to rub them together (since the tint would lift and start flaking) or rub it against some fabric. It did survive swimming in the ocean since after an hour of being in the water the tint was still there, uneven but still.

Neutrogena Hydro boost city protect fluid with SPF 25 intrigued me since I love their oil free face moisturizer which comes in the same packaging... I thought that this might be similar but with added SPF, a quick check at the ingredients list told me I was wrong and also the formula feels very different. It feels like a cream but doesn't absorb quickly, it also leaves a greasy residue which I don't like on my already oily skin and it is just slightly tinted light blue. It is a chemical sun cream and contains Octocrylene. I haven't used it on my face more that three times since I didn't like the feeling on my face but I used it on my body and I had no reactions or sun burns.

My tube of Skinfood Tomato sun cream with SPF 35++ is very old. I used to love to use it on my face but I was never able to finish it up, so this year I just took it with me and layer it over some other sun creams all over my body. It is a true mineral protection with Zinc Oxide and cast a white layer all over. At first it is pretty greasy but over a few minutes it tones it down (it was not matte but not overly greasy). I always put some BB cream over it (I like a little coverage even at the beach + some tint helps with a white cast). This never cause my skin to break out so I thought that it will be forever repurchased but since I found something better with no white residue so I won't buy it again.

Next is one of my favorite deodorants and it is Nivea deo beauty elixir deomil fresh option. I had different one before within the same line and would get it again but they discontinued this line of products and I was only able to get one bottle of this fresh version. It is very similar in term of scent, creamy and some what fresh, like clean laundry. Since it is a deodorant it didn't stop me from sweating but I'm okay with it as long I don't stink. This really was nice (love the creamy non-irritable texture and pleasant scent) so I was disappointed when I couldn't find it anymore.

And the very last item is The Body Shop tea tree anti-imperfection daily solution. I love tea tree products since my skin likes them and my acne not so much :) I loved using it in the evening under my moisturizer. It is a watery serum which absorbed quickly into my skin. Did it make my skin drastically different? I honestly don't know but the psychological effect felt real. Give me products with tea tree scent and I will apply them regularly with joy ;) I might repurchase it since the easily absorbed formula felt good.

Empties

 Hello,

another quick post of my empties in a row. Lately I just haven't been feeling like posting and also I don't take the time to do it like I used to do. I did accumulated some new items that might be interesting so maybe in the future I will post more... we will see.

I purchased a pack of Ziaja Olive oil products because it was a really good deal and this face moisturizer was part of it. It is Ziaja face cream with Olive oil for dry - normal skin type. I'm combination to oily but some extra hydration never hurt my skin. At first I really liked it because my skin was in need for some moisture but then the super thick formula started to annoy me. It is very greasy and it doesn't absorb completely into my skin, I only used it at night because it would be impossible to apply make-up on top of it. I'm ok that I tried it but I won't repurchase it, I since found lighter textures which are just as mosturizing and works better for my skin type.

I remember I had Fenjal deodorant before and I really like it so when I saw this one I just knew we will work well together. It is sensitive deo pump spray option, in general I don't like to spray my deodorant but I bough this one to take it with me on a vacation (I think I used it on my last three holidays and spray works well with retouching and keeping deodorant sanitary). Now I finished it all up because it was getting old and I had noting else. It has this lovely clean scent which makes me feel refreshed but it also doesn't interfere with my perfume. I still sweat through it (it is not anti-perspirant) but I am not stinky and that is all I care about it. I will buy it again, in a spray bottle for my vacation (just to mention that the bottle is made of a heavy glass) and in a 'regular' roll-on version for  my every day adventures.

Last are two hand creams, first is Avon care revitalising hand cream with Banana. This is one of my favorites and this particular tube is just in a limited edition packaging. The formula is light, easy to spread and absorb. My hands are left soft and nourished. I already have a few backups ;)

The second one is the first of its kind  and it is Avon care nurturing with glycerine &Almond oil hand cream. I also really liked this one. Formula vise it felt very similar to the Banana one minus the scent. I kept this one at work and my coworkers also liked it. This one gets thumps up from multiple people and I will get it again.

Empties

 Hello,

it fells like the year has just started and the first month is already gone... so fast. The end of the January also make a lot of my favorite items come to an end.

Nivea deo beauty elixir deomilk for sensitive skin has become my staple. I love this formula but I have always got it in the sensitive version (there are more) but I have a feeling they are discontinuing them because I can't find them :( I would repurchase it immediately if I could find it. It is an antiperspirant but I still sweat through, just my sweat now smells nice ;) It has creamy and neutral scent and that is the best. It doesn't interfere with my perfume but keeps me fresh and clean smelling all day long. I will miss it a lot.

Dusch Das Grapefruit & Ginger body wash was a pleasant surprise. I'm not a huge fan of Ginger but in here it wasn't too sharp, just clean and refreshing. I'm definitely buying it again.

My favorite foundation is from Catrice and it is their HD liquid coverage foundation in the shade Light Beige. I figure it out that not only this formula works for me (mattifying but not to the point of making me look dry, buildable coverage so I can choose to wear it thin on my good skin days or pack some more to cover some nasty red spots) and the shade is pretty perfect. I also have a lighter shade named Light Porcelain but it is too light for me, so now I just mix them together and hopefully I will be able to use up a lighter shade as well (unfortunately I bought two more bottles of the lighter shade by a mistake, ups).

The last is my beloved mascara which is sadly discontinued. It is Avon Super Extend Extreme mascara in black. It was great for combing through my lashes and make them super long (it has fake fibers which would actually elongate my lashes). It made me look like a doll and I loved it for that. Unfortunately I can't find it anymore but the original one in a black tube is still available. I know I had it and I liked it a lot but I loved this one in a yellow tube so much more that I have never went back and use the original one. Thankfully Avon makes a lot of different ones and I'm sure I will find something just as amazing.

 Hello,

today I have super short list of items I have finished up in the first half of the month, I think in the second half I will have some more products, but we shall see.

Her it goes another tube of Neutrogena oil free daily face moisturizer. For years this has been my favorite and it still is. Love the light texture which keeps me matte for longer, how fast it absorbs and even if sometimes my skin feels dry this helps it relive instantly. This remains my holy grail and I'm already on my next tube.

I randomly picked up this Biobaza natural doe in Green Tea Sensation and it was a lucky pick. It is a deodorant and not anti-perspirant so I still sweat but the formula made me smell fresh all day long. For me this really thick all the boxes and the green tea scent is so calming and fresh smelling... I would definitely repurchase it  again.

The last two items are exactly the same and are The Body Shop Peppermint Candy Cane body lotions. They were limited editions scents but I bought a lot of them because I can't resist the cooling peppermint-y scent with sweet sugar notes. I loved using them even now in the hot Summer and I'm super sad that this line isn't permanent. I still have one hand cream left and then it is gone. I sincerely hope that soon they will bring it back and I would go and buy some more :)

 Hello,

another half a month has gone by and all I have for you is a bag full of empty products.

First lets start with a good one. It is Alkmene tea tree face wash. Very nice gel consistency with tea tree that helps keep my skin acne free and I love it very much. I definitely need to go and buy some more because at the moment I'm out of it.

I used to love and use pretty much only Dove deodorants but then I wanted to try something new. My sister gave me this Dove 48h Deodorant with matcha green tea and sakura blossom. It made me realize why I like them so much. It is still a very good one but now I'm layering it with another deodorant to get the perfect smell free combo. I need to go to the store and pick some more, maybe in a different scent, Pear perhaps?

I purchased this Balea Bahamas dream body lotion with coconut and frangipani scent ether last year or two years before. It is pretty old and I'm glad that I finished it up. It is very liquid and when I open it up I have to be really careful not to spill it. At first it smells really nice just like the description says but quickly it gets the plastic-y aftertaste and I don't like that. Quite a few Balea products did that to me and maybe that is the sign to stop buying them?

Next is my love: Essence camouflage Healthy Glow concealer in Light Ivory. This is my third tube and I hope they will never discontinue it. Great coverage and barely there creasing. I already have backup but out of curiosity I bought the matte version. It is not bad but I think I prefer the Healthy Glow one (it is a bit lighter in tone but other than that I don't see the difference in performance).

Next is SPA Ceylon happy uplifting balm roll on that my sister brought from abroad. I use to really like these fresh scents but now I moved to something sweeter and richer. I am aware that this is not meant to be worn as a fragrance but the scent is so strong that it overpowers everything. It is also very oily so I wasn't able to put it on my temples or on my wrists because I would just wipe it out onto my hair or clothes so I ended up using it in my car. I would put a bit of it on a paper and leave it in my car and the refreshing scent in a hot automobile felt really nice.

Next is another love of mine and it is The Body Shop tea tree pore minimiser. It is already discontinued and I'm using my very last tube of it which is pretty sad. I like to apply this before my make-up to 'treat' my skin with tea tree. I really believe that my skin don't produce so much acne when I use products with tea tree and using face wash, oil and primer all with this magical ingredient in it... my skin is blemish free or at least not so very acne occupied since I started using more tea tree (I also know that a proper diet and combination of various ingredients play a massive role).

Another holy grail is this Beauty Glam clear skin serum with Salycylic acid and this particular acid is another miracle for my skin. I approximately use it every second day and aging my blemishes heal much faster or at least don't grow to such extents as they used to. I already got myself a new bottle and is already in good use.

Thank God this beautiful serum from Avon Advance Technique isn't gone yet. They did change or discontinued a couple but they left this silky hair serum. It is my third bottle and I like to use it especially on damp hair and in the morning they are softer and silkier, just like the bottle suggests. I don't have a back up yet but I have some other ones that I need to try first before I go back to this one.

The very last item is this limited edition Catrice Kaviar gauche face powder. It is a bit smaller, 4 g, than the 'regular' sized powders but it still took me a long time to finish it up. It is white and even on me (super pale gal) the slight white tone was present. Whenever I would apply it as a touch up (after 3-4 hours) it made my make-up look a bit cake-y and not so nice so I ended up using it as a neck powder (I use a bit of foundation on my neck as well and I need to powder it otherwise my hair will stick to it).

That is all for my empties. I did order some new skin care online from a company I haven't tried before and I can't wait to try the products out. I hope I will find some new holy grails.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day

Hello,

my goal to write more in this year hasn't been fulfilled yet but I still have a long year infront of me and maybe it will get better. It can't get worse, right?

Nivea deo beauty elixir vitamines + mineral sensitive anti-perspirant was an impulse purchase. It had a sticker new and deodorant milk sounded like a nourishing product. I don't really have issues with extra sensitivity under my arms  but still I like to go more gentle. I know, it is anti-perspirant (it is supposed to prevent your pits to sweat which is not healthy at all), it is not supposed to be gentle but the milky texture gave me the feeling like it is on a caring side. I had zero troubles and even though I still sweat through I think I was not stinky. I will probably buy it again but now I'm using something else.

Avon Spotlight perfume was an oldie but a goodie. It smelled clean and slightly floral, like white flowers on a sunny carefree day. I used to really love it but for the last couple of years I transitioned into heavier, gourmand scents so I was eager to finish it up before it would go bad or my taste changed so much that I wouldn't want to wear it.

Avon used to come out with these naturals winterberry and shea body lotion every year for a couple of years in a row but not this past winter. Mine is pretty old and when I wanted to use it I noticed that the scent changed from a fresh creamy berry into something plastic-y so my wild guess is that it went bad and I have to throw it away which I already did.

The last items are these three lip balms, Malibu lip care lip balms with SPF 30 (Vanilla, Mint and Watermelon). I only purchased them because I was shopping online and I needed to spent a couple more euros to get higher discount (at the end I think I received them for free so it doesn't hurt me that much). The names correlate with the scent. My favorite is Watermelon which is pretty accurate with the fruit, second being Mint and Vanilla is my least favorite scent but thankfully it isn't too sweet. They are a bit stiff at first but when they get warmed up on the lips the formula isn't that bad. The reason why I'm throwing them into the trash (they are far from being used up) is most probably the SPF which gets all bitter and disgusting. I can't stand bitter lip products and I'm realizing that pretty much all of the lip products that I tried with SPF were like that and I'm not having it. Do you know any good lip balms with protection but don't leave weird taste in your mouth?

Hello,

Autumn weather is upon us and if you are anything like me then you're probably catching all the Sunshine that you can get and using more Summer inspired products so the Summer time will last a bit longer.

Lets start with this L'occitane Terre de lumiere radiating hand and body cream. I have used it exclusively on my hands. The packaging is small and fits in all my purses plus the scent is gorgeous. To me it smells like lavender honey (some of my favorite scents) but I wish it wouldn't have shimmers. That being said I'm eyeing the perfume in this scent but I know that I really shouldn't...

Another amazing scent is from this Avon senses range and it is their Happiness body wash with Pomegranate and Freesia scent. I started using it on my vacation and I feel in love with it the moment I opened it up and sniff it. I will for sure repurcase this scent again, as soon as possible.

Another bottle of this Catrice HD liquid coverage foundation in Light Beige is empty (this is my second one). I love the light texture but also its buildable coverage. It doesn't look too fake and this particular shade is my perfect match. I'm already using the new bottle of it.

I received this Nivea Pearl & Beauty anti-perspirant from last years advent calendar and it was fun to try it out (the packaging is smaller than normally but it still lasted me for months). The scent reminded me of fabric softener which is nice because I don't want my deo to take the stage but to rather work with my other scents. The roll-on packaging is my favorite when it comes to these type of products and it kept me fresh but I would say it is more of a deodorant than an anti-perspirant because I was still sweating. I bought another one from Nivea, I initially wanted to grab the same one but I saw sticker new and bought something different ;)

Nivea released these Mix me body lotions trio in Charming, Exotic and Oasis. The idea behind is to mix them to your own liking and while I know it is a gimmick I still caved in because I sniffed them first (well there were scented rings on the outer box and I liked all three scents). Individually I liked all of them, my favorite is probably the Charming one. It is pure Raspberries and Peonies mix and this scent is really close to my heart. Exotic smelled like Pina Colada and Oasis was fresh and clean leaves in the jungle. I really liked mixing the yellow and the green one together while the pink one I mostly used solo. I don't think they are still available but I think they made fantastic job at formulating these scents.

Catrice Vitamin lip treatment in Innocent Rose is jet another one from my big bulk (I snatched five of these vitamin lip treatments before they discontinued them). I only got one of this shade and while it is lovely it gives the slightest hint of color to my lips, mostly it just looks clear. The scent is fruity and moisturizing properties are nice. My lips felt well hydrated while I was applying it regularly. The bottle is small so I go through these rather quickly.

The very last item is this Avon ultra color lipstick in the shade Knock out Pink. This is my oldest lipstick and due its age I have to throw it away (it is still available and perhaps I will repurchase it again after I go through two or five more lipstick cases). It is lovely rose shade with bolder and darker hue. I prefer to wear it more sparingly (more of a dab on the lips rather than a full swipe) and it creates this lovely blushed effect that I love but the reason why I didn't wear it more often is that it doesn't last for as long as I would like so currently I'm trying to find a lip stain that would give me a similar effect.

Empties

Hello,

and I'm back with empties. A little less as usually but it seems like I say that quite often lately...

First item is Avium Citrus natural deodorant. I saw it last year and I decided to try more natural option for my sweaty armpits. At first it seemed like it worked so I got the lavender version as well but then the hot Summer came along and my 'first' opinion went down the drain. It is a stick but sometimes it leaves chunks that I have to rub into my skin, nothing too annoying but what let me down is its inability to prevent bad smell. It claims to reduce the sweat and minimize the scent but in my case that is not evident. I used it on less busy days but still I wasn't happy about it. I still have the Lavender version to go through and I hope that that one will be more suited for my skin.

Next is Avon care Yoghurt & Honey body wash. The scent is a bit generic and fake but thankfully it isn't too strong. The texture is creamier but I haven't noticed any special moisture properties. I think this body wash was average and that in the future I will try something new.

Browsing through the store I came across this Nature Box shampoo with cold pressed Almond oil. I opened the bottle and I liked the scent (I'm no longer crazy about it, I guess I got used to it) and bought it on a whim. It is free from sulfates, silicones and parabens. I'm not a scientist or someone who is knowledgeable about ingredients but I purchased it simply because I like the scent. At first I had to get to used to it. I used more than usually to properly wash my hair (it doesn't foam as much as 'regular' shampoos) and in the beginning my hair looked a bit dry and stripped. After using it a couple of times my hair got used to it and they were fine but nothing spectacular. Maybe I will try some other version but this one I won't repurchase.

My sister loves sheet masks but I think they are a bit impractical (they have the tendency to fall off so I only use them in the morning while still laying in my bed), still I wanted to give them another chance and bought a bunch of these Garnier ones (they look new?). First I tried the moisture + freshness tissue mask with green tea and hyaluronic acid. I have a really terrible cold (I know, I know, cold in the middle of a Summer? It sucked the life out of me and my skin, in fact my skin hasn't looked so terrible in years so I decided to treat it with this duo pack of sheet masks). My pimples didn't looked particularly reduced but my skin looked moisturized and taken care of. I have some other versions and after trying some more I will decide if they are worth it for me or not.

The very last item is Olaz anti-wrinkle firm and lift renewal eye gel. I picked it up because of its gel texture. I needed something light for the morning use under my make-up. I like to use something that absorbs quickly, plumps and nourish my under eye area all at once. This one was nice but I wished to be a bit more moisturizing, I still crave this Afrodita's Hydra Thermal one, which is discontinued. I compare every single eye cream to this one and nothing comes close.

Wow, this time I have nothing but 'average' products. None of them was a complete failure for me but they didn't ether rock my world.

Empties

Hello,

long time no words from me, I know I know but I'm back with one of the most 'refreshing' posts. That is how these empties feels for me, like a little Spring cleaning where I get to throw a bunch of empty and now useless packaging away.
Less clutter is how I want to live my life and that mostly includes using up what I have (check) and buying as little as possible (a bit smaller check ;)-

Okay, without any rambling this is Garnie oil beauty body scrub. I bought a set with lotion which was recommended to me by my sister (I haven't used it yet) but this scrub was nice. I prefer to use a brush for my body but this one smelled really good. Would I repurchase it, nope simply I don't think it is cost efficient compared with the big 'horse' brush which lasts for a really long time.

Mixa baby surgras moisturizer for face and body for sensitive and dry skin was another 'let's try it out' kind of product. A while ago I was into baby creams for my sensitive skin to provide it with necessary moisture and tone down my redness. I wasn't really pleased with it (I honestly don't even remember what I thought of it since it was so long since I used it), now I found it at the back so I just used it on my body to finish it up.

One of my favorite face washes is this Himalaya purifying neem foaming face wash. It is bright green but it comes out as a light foam which effectively removes everything from my face but it doesn't dry it out. I still love it and I will buy it soon, right now I'm using another favorite of mine.

Hands down my favorite under the eye area concealer is this Essence camouflage healthy glow concealer in Light Ivory. It is a bit light that is why I only use it under my eyes but I love how buildable the coverage is and how natural it looks, very very little creasing and that is amazing. I'm already using my next tube of it.

Huh, Essence used to make these prettifying lip oils in three options (I had all of them). This one is red named First help pinky. It had very little pigment but it was super glossy/juicy looking with nice nourishing properties even though constant reapplying was a must. Still, I think it is worth it.

This is my second Milnica's Rosemary toner. It has quite a strong herbal scent (I like it a lot) but the reason why I keep buying it is that I think it is nicely moisturizing, I even pour it into the spray bottle and use it on my face without any cotton pads that would absorb its magic.

The very last one is this Fenjal intensive creme deo roll on that I fell in love with. Roll on thingy is my favorite way of applying deodorant and I liked the fresh and clean scent of it and to top it of it really worked for me, no stinky underarms for me  ;)

Empties

Hello,

I'm a little off schedule with my empties but for that I can 'blame' my vacation. I came back yesterday and it was amazing. I spent a lot of time on the sun with tons of sun cream on so I didn't got burn, next year I'm buying Sun Dance lotions again but maybe not the same ones.

I used up two Sun Dance SPF lotions. The first is the Melon scented foam (last year I bought two of them and used up the Strawberry one in the same Summer). I liked this fresher scent better but otherwise the foam that comes out is sticky (not great for an everyday life but on the beach I don't mind greasy feeling). It was waterproof so especially great for swimming but I used it up pretty fast.
Then I started to use another SPF 30 lotion with coconut scent also a bit greasy, not so much, but this one was a thicker white cream. None of these two was my favorite, one too sticky the other was too white but my skin stayed protected and that is all that matters. Sun Dance has a large collection of sun lotions and every year they come out with some new ones so I'm sure I will find something suited for my needs next year.

To retain moisture I used this Avon naturals Apricot and Shea lotion (not the most moisturizing in the world) but the light texture and pleasant scent convinced me. I think this is my third bottle of this particular one and now it is no longer available so it is also the last one.

Dove makes great deodorants/antiperspirants for me and this one was another winner. I really like the roll-ons even though you have to wait a little longer to dry before putting clothes on. The scent on this Mineral Touch was fresh and clean, just how I want to feel and smell after a long day on the sun.

The very last one is also an oldie. It is Avon Be Serene... perfume. I remember there were three different ones in this Be... collection but I only got the 'blue' one. It smelled very fresh and a bit flowery, nothing too much, think of a fabric softener, something like that. Their original Perceive smells very similar.

L'oreal infallible 24-h matte Vanilla foundation is already repurchased. I love this high coverage, buildable and matte foundation. It is my go-to and I'm already using the new tube. My only complain would be the dark shade but to fix that I buy The Body Shop lightening drops and I adjust the shade every morning to match me perfectly.

Catrice made under TE Active Warrior this wonderful make-up freezing spray. I received one bottle as PR but I went and bought two more bottles. This one is the first one to go but I have backups to last me through this year.

Another Catrice item sent to me was this lashes to kill waterproof mascara. I already raved about it and I still love it. The brush isn't rubbery and that worried me a little at first but after I tried it it was great. It was lenghtening and volumizing, the only thing that was lacking was the curl hold other than that it was really nice and I think I will repurchase it for my sister's wedding which is just around the corner.

This is another repurchase and probably by now everyone has already discovered how great are Catrice concealers. This liquid camouflage Porcellain concealer is especially great for under eye area because it isn't so drying. I love this one around my eyes and the pot version for all over my face. While the cream one lasts very long this liquid one gets used up relatively fast, thank God it is inexpensive ;)

The very last Catrice products is Pure Brilliants Next Stop Golden Gate Bridge colour lip balm I loved the Pure Shine balms but when they were discontinuing them I couldn't find any in desired shade so I picked up this one thinking it would be similar just with shimmer. I was right the formula was similar, nourishing and glossy but the balm is packed with shimmer so I had to be careful not to end up looking like a clown, the orange tint didn't help ether. I would get the Pure Shines one in a heartbeat but the Pure Brilliants left me cold.

We are almost at the finish line with this second Essence invisible kiss transparent lip liner in Multitalent Wonder shade. It is essentially just a clear waxy liner which 'seals' the lips especially if they are dry or chapped. It runs smoothly over lines and makes lips smooth so when I would go over with a tinted lip product no one could tell that my lips weren't in their best condition. I have another backup but I already bought one from Avon which I haven't put it to the test jet.

Essence Pure Nude powder in Nude Beige was so so for me. Nothing too impressive so when I found better ones I started to use this one on my neck (I drag my foundation or BB cream down my neck and chest area, it depends from my shirt cut and because I wear my hair down I have to powder my neck as well otherwise my hair would get stuck). For that I always use powders that aren't my favorite and just use them up, that happened to this one and I'm happy to see it gone.

The Terra Naturi Ivory face powder was on the other hand a very good one. Too bad that it is gone. They repackaged the whole line and while they still have face powders they have different packaging and I don't know if they are the same. I will probably try one in the future but at the moment I think I have four or five quite full face powders that needs to be used up before I get some more.

Empties

Hello,

I know it has been a while but I'm back, back with another empties post just to let you know I'm still alive and kicking.

In the past I bought two body washes from Balea but the scents turned out to be very plastic and gross. This one on the other hand changed my mind. Jamaica vibes smelled like fresh pineapples and the scent lasted all the way till the end. If I could still find it in the store I would repurchase it in a heartbeat.

Next bottle is Avon naturals Apricot and Shea body lotion which is one of my favorites from this line. I don't find naturals lotions from Avon to be the most moisturizing but I buy them because of the scent. I can't remember through how many bottles of this scent I already went through (three or four and I still have one full backup left) but if it would still be available I would get more.

Lush makes this amazing fresh mask called Catastrophe cosmetic.  It contains chunks of blueberries and when it dries the texture remind me of clay ones but apparently it doesn't contain any. My skin right afterwards feels soft, smooth and nourished, the next day I can notice my acne being reduced and less swollen. For me this mask does 'miracles' but it doesn't feel too strong or abrasive. Right now I have another one (Cosmetic warrior) in my fridge but I can already tell you that CC will be the one I will buy the next time I visit the store.

For a couple of years I have been loyal to Avon deodorants but just for fun I decided to get something different, something to break the routine. I decided to get Dove Original moisture cream anti-perspirant. First of all the scent is just what I like, it smells fresh like I just got out of the shower and after a long day of sweating my armpits still smell fresh. The creamy consistency absorbs fast and right after applying it I could get dressed and it didn't leave marks on my dark clothes. I seriously don't have any negative things to say about it. I went to the store and wanted to get the same scent only in a roll-on version (just because I always used this type and I started to miss it) but I decided to get different scent which I ended up loving just as much as this one but the cream is definitely more moisturizing and it absorbs faster.

A while ago I purchased this Yves Rocher instant youthful effect foundation in the shade 100 beige.  I have a full review of it here. I like the natural finish, the undertone matched me but the shade itself was a bit dark for me (that was before I got lightening drops). It worked with my skin pretty well in the cooler months when my skin wasn't excessively oily but in the Summer it didn't control my oils enough and I stopped using it and started replacing with with other products. This past week I remembered that this is still around and I wanted to start using it again but it started to separate really badly so I think it is time to let go of it.

The very last item is this Manhattan colour splash liquid lip tint in the shade Hint of Pink. It has  a very strong fruity scent and liquid texture which absorbs fast when you are applying it. The texture doesn't allow you to go over it once the first layer is drying. The color at first looks soft but give it a minute or two and it will turn into a bright fuchsia pink. I think that the formula was pretty long lasting but it was the bright shade that didn't suit my everyday mood so I rarely used it. I think I used it only once or twice this year and I know myself, I know I would rarely use it so I might as well just toss it and rather use lippies that suits me better.

Empties

Hello,

this time I feel like my empties post is really big. In total there are 12 products and I have to contain myself otherwise I could write a novel about them.

So first it is Alverde hand cream with Mango and Mandarin scent (it was part of a Summer set which contained besides this cream also a body wash and a lotion packed in a see through cup which you can reuse to keep your drinks). The scent on this cream was great, very fruity and the formula absorbed quickly but I don't think it was the best moisturizer for my dry hands and I won't repurchase it again, if there is still some of the sets left.

Avon used to make these Foot Works all in one pedicure which were awesome (this is my second used up tube and I have one more backup left). Basically it is a light lotion with tons of scrubbing particles. I recommend using it in the shower in the morning when your feet are still clean and dry, you massage it in until the cream is completely absorbed and then just rinse off the particles. My feet always looked so nice and were really soft, I especially loved it in the Summer because the excess of the cream was washed off so my feet weren't sliding in my open toed shoes. They don't make it anymore but the last time I saw a tube that could contain something similar.

Next is another Avon Foot Works product but this one is the Papaya scented scrub. I don't use these on my feet because I can barely feel them but I rather use them on my face. The scent is very pleasant and there is tons of particles that actually do something, I just have to be careful not to rub too vigorously. I always buy these when the scents gets on sale so I get them for even cheaper but I would gladly repurchase this scent if it would still be available.

Avon X-series Recharged body deodorant spray. Well, the name is confusing isn't it? Is it a body spray? A lighter version of a perfume or it will mask my body odor if I use it on my armpits? I liked the perfume (which I still have even though it is a male scent) but something about this heavy masculine scent mixed in with my sweat just didn't do it for me. I have learned my lesson, never buy perfume inspired deodorants because it will make you hate the scent. I still have another one to go through and after that I'm done with heavily fragranced deodorants or antiperspirants.

Le Couvent des Minimes smile lip balm in the mint scent is stationed right in the middle. I purchased it because my sister loves the Pear scent (now they changed them and Mint is no longer available also now they have the Pear & Apple scent). That in front of it is a paper sticker which gets a bit messy if you wash your products from time to time or just hold them in the heat with sweaty hands. I liked the cooling minty sensation but I wish it would be stronger (I'm a big big mint lip product fan). Otherwise the product itself was clear and glossy but not exceptionally moisturizing so I will save 12€ or however it costs and rather spent it on better lip care products.

Next is Alkmene tea tree face wash. I don't mind the tea tree scent but this one got a bit weirder when I started approaching the end of the bottle so I make sure I used it up as fast as possible. I had the same packaging issue as I had with the Alp Stories face wash. The product is too liquid for this pump. The pump makes it convenient right? But if you don't hold the bottle in one hand and tilt it to an 45 degree angle the product will spill down the packaging and best of luck to you to scrape it off. I know that isn't that big of a deal but I'm lazy and if a packaging is promising me convenience I expect it to work that way. Other than that I don't have anything bad to say about the product itself. I pretty much always remove majority of my make up with a baby wipe so the face wash that I use afterwards just have to make sure every last bit of make-up is gone. On some lazy days I used it on a face full of make-up and it didn't completely removed my foundation or mascara but that is also not what I'm looking for in a face wash but if you do than this is not for you. I rubbed it all over my eyes and it didn't irritate them, I could even open them up and nothing happened so you have to give it some props for that. My skin felt fresh after using it but not tight, it removed all of my oils but it didn't gave me that unpleasant squeaky clean feeling. I have some others to go through but this could find its way back into my routine.

I'm testing some 'new' dry shampoos and recently I found this guy in my drugstore and two different scents lured me into purchasing these two colorful bottles (the other one is Tropical fragrance and I haven't tried it jet). Colab Unicorn fragrance dry shampoo smells very heavy at first, it remind me of a luxury products that are used in hair saloons. After a couple of minutes the scant settles but I can smell it all day long as I move my hair around and I like that a lot. I don't care that much about the packaging but I wish it would be a bit cheaper (it is more expensive that the Batiste) but I repurchased this scent just last week so I guess it is worth it.

I went through another body moisturizer and this time it is Avon naturals Green Apple Blossom body lotion which isn't available anymore. I think it is a couple of years old and I have that tendency to buy nicely scented stuff and then just leave them sitting in my closet or shelves because they seem too precious to use. The naturals lotions are nicely scented but not very moisturizing if you have dry skin, I just buy them because of the scents and this one was very light, barely there. Maybe that is because I kept it for too long or maybe it was just meant to be light. But in all fairness it did smelled just like the fresh green apples in the Autumn. I have decided to pull the breaks on buying lotions for now and try to use as much as possible because the one and only The Body Shop is coming to Slovenia. At first there will only be an online store but I don't care. I cheek their official page every day to see if the store is already opened and when it will I know I will place an order and buy some body butters that they are so famous for.

The last tube is my favorite Neutrogena oil free face cream. I can't remember if this is my third or second used up tube. It is very lightweight but moisturizing at the same time, great for under the make-up and it didn't cause me any irritations so when I was in the store and I couldn't find it I freaked out a bit. I did bought another tube that looks similar and I hope that they just changed the packaging and didn't touch the formula.

I have used up another pot of the Essence matt translucent face powder. I love this compact, it doesn't keep my face matte all day long but I can apply it on top of my make-up and it doesn't look cakey which is the case with most of other powders that I have tried. I already repurchased it and the 'new' one is already showing some pan.

Second to last is Avon kohl eye pencil in Bronze about which I talked here. I was very disappointed with how hard it was and I'm surprised at how long I kept it. I bought it sometime in May last year, I used it a couple of times, reviewed it and then I have never touched it again. Now I started to clean my make-up storage and I knew it was time for this fella to meet the Mr. Bin.

The very last item is a good one. I felt like it would be nice to finish on a positive note. I know I already used one of these pots before so I was excited to use this one again. It is Avon Anew Hydro advance moisture gel cream, very light and fast absorbing. It made my skin soft and nourished, sometimes I used it under my make-up but I rather used it at night with a drop or two of oil on top. I think it paired really well with oils and I already miss it. I found it in the brochure but I still have a couple of creams to go through but as soon as they are gone I'm getting myself another pot of this goodness.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day
