Lucent Pink

 Hello,

lip glosses in tubes are my favorite lip products and I am always on the hunt for something new. We had plastic, then donut and now metal applicators. I really wanted to try this type of cooling effect since I wasn't sure it would make a lot of difference.

I picked this Joocyee Crystal Gloss in Lucent Pink. Soft, baby pink shade appealed to me the most and these come in 8 ml tubes. There is slight fruity scent but I can't figure it out which fruit it belongs to, it is not strong and when on the lips I can't detect it.

Metal applicator is wide and disperses product but it can be a bit awkward on my thin lips (too wide) and maybe because the shade is light it can be a bit uneven but when it settles it is fine. It helps if I squeeze just a little, the formula is glossy even with a thin layer.

This baby pink shade stole my heart, I love it. It is juicy on the lips and not sticky at all. It feels a bit thin, not super cushion like but it is okay since the staying power is nice.

I think I picked the right shade, the applicator is nicely cooling but slightly too big for me. The longevity is really nice and I think I will use it with joy.

Moonlight Pearl

 Hello,

this palette stole my heart the minute I saw it online. The mermaid theme and cool toned color scheme did it for me. Fingers crossed that the formula is just as good as they are claiming to be.

It is Flower Knows eyeshadow palette from Shell's Jewel Collection in the shade Moonlight Pearl, the cool toned option with six shades inside.
I love that the shape is an oyster and shades inside are the true pearls (figuratively speaking)  :)

Just the details up close. There are shells and starfish sprinkled all over and there is also pearl shift on the light grey panelling, very beautiful.

I love that they continued the theme with the pans, it just ties everything together. Four of them are matte and two extra sparkly shades.

I am starting with the first sparkly star which has a bit of a cool toned champagne base and lots of sparkles. It is buildable and very sparkly. Most of the sparkles are silver (app. 60%) and there are gold (app. 40%). The effect is still cool toned.
Next is the biggest pan in the palette. Shade is soft but on my skin it deepens and it is cool toned rose shade. Light enough to be worn all over or layered to deepen outer corners in the unusual shade.
Second star does not have a base color. Most of the particles are pink and there are also some silver ones in between.

Bottom row starts with a cream matte shade, it blends into my skintone even though it is a slightly paler but it is great to set my primer or soften the deeper shades. I wish they would offer this one in the largest pan because it will be the first to be used up :)
Grey in the middle can be very pigmented, great to deepen my outer corners or apply it in a more sheer matter to use it as an all over base over my entire lid. Did I mention that I like cool tones on my eyes?
Last shade in the pan looks soft matte brown but on my skin it has slight berry tone. I am not the biggest fan of this one but I appreciate something different to try it out.

My skin has this tendency to make everything warmer, even the grey (second to last) has warmth in it :) I am always on the hunt for a useful and everyday cool toned palette.

Here I tried to captured both shimmers but my camera just can't capture the beauty of them, here they look very meh but in real life they are beautiful but also not that different from one another. Silver is the main and recurring shade of sparkles.

This palette takes a lot of space which I don't love but the outer packaging I find very nice. Shades look beautiful in the palette but are different on the skin. I love the sparkles but they are very shiny and obvious so I don't wear them everyday. The one in the largest pan I wish would be cooler and less rosy, last one comes off too berry and grey is not cool enough for me. As a whole, this palette looks lovely but on my skin and paired with my taste I see that I just don't love it. The shades aren't my everyday colors and while I will still use it it will not become my favorite one.

Peach Please and Nude Sorbet

 Hello,

Essence keeps making and adding more shades to their regular lip gloss range (I am still sad that they discontinued Think Pink, my favorite from the bunch). Hopefully I will find a good replacement.

They are Essence Extreme Shine Volume lip glosses (there is no mint, cooling or tingling) in Peach Please and Nude Sorbet.

They have stubby applicators but carry enough to comfortably apply gloss all over my lips. Peach Please is pale with enough sheer tint to add slight pinky milkiness but it does not set in my lip lines.
Nude Sorbet is completely different. It is very warm toned and super pigmented, like liquid lipstick.

I think here you can clearly see the difference in pigmentation. Peach Please is milky while Nude Sorbet covers the skin completely and therefore it is hard to apply evenly and a little goes a long way but then I loose the shine, plus the shade is very orange tone agains my skin and I simply don't like that.

Not only pigmentation, there is difference in the scent as well. Peach Please is fruity while Nude Sorbet has artificial hazelnut scent.

I don't know why there is such a big difference. I bought both from trusted retailers otherwise I will think that the nude one might be a fake one.

I like the sheer peach shade, even though there isn't much pigment but it works. It feels very cushion like on my lips and the scent is nice. I will keep it and keep an eye out if it will get discontinued I would like to get a backup or two but Nude Sorbet is moving out. I do not want to use it.

Cookie and Sugar Sparkle

 Hello,

another duo for lips today and this time they are better than yesterday.

Essence came out with some shimmery versions of their lip oils, I snatched Cookie Sparkle and Sugar Sparkle.
They both have cookie batter with some brown sugar scent to them, nothing chemical or icky.

They are super sparkly but Cookie Sparkle has more tiny shimmers which creates that frosty finish while Sugar Sparkle is more of that traditional sparkler where base color doesn't come out and it just shines under the light.

Nude, Cookie Sparkle has a bit of pale nude, champagne base sprinkled with millions of gold, silver and also some pink shimmers. It creates frosty finish with how pale it is and I prefer to be light handed with it.

Second swatch is made with Sugar Sparkle which doesn't have a base color but a lot of pink and blue shimmers, occasionally I also find some golden ones thrown in the mix. This one I find easier to wear since I can pack it on more.

Out of the two Sugar Sparkle is my favorite and I can see this 4 ml bottle being used up pretty fast, while I also like the Cookie Sparkle, I just don't use that much with one application since there is too much of the frosty effect. I know there is another shade available in darker pink shade that is already on my radar :)

I like them for their nice scent, big applicator makes application easier, at the moment I love sparkles even a bit frostiness :). They last around one hour (Cookie Sparkle fades a little before one hour because I don't put that much one while Sugar sparkle exceed one hour) and the sparkle stays on the lips so I can apply lip balm or clear gloss and carry the effect for longer without actually applying the same product.

The Sugarcoated Truth and Fairytale Filter

 Hello,

I had such high hopes for these new glosses from Catrice, the previous line Gloss Obsessed was really nice and I hoped these carries the legacy.

These are new Catrice Filler Supreme lip glosses in The Sugarcoated Truth and Fairytale Filter.

Applicators carry plenty of product and I like that. Next thing there is is the scent. Shimmery one is straight chemical scent wile with the pink one they tried to camouflage it with some brown sugar scent but it still comes through, that plastic scent.

I still find shades nice, shimmery one looks frosted but can be easily sheered out so it is not too much. I really enjoy this shade.
Fairytale Filter is a nice tone of pink but the formula is odd. When it goes closer to my inner part of my mouth it starts gathering and I hate that milky, thick paste that starts getting in my mouth. To prevent this I use very little of it but then it is barely glossy.

Unfortunately these aren't all that nice as I hoped for. The scents are icky but at least I like The Sugarcoated Truth on my lips, this tiny frosty shimmer looks nice while there is something wrong with the pink shade. Almost as if they did not design it to be worn around mouth. I will definitely not be getting more shades and I am even debating if these are even worth finishing.

Peach Peach me

 Hello,

I got my hands on this shade that I immediately wanted after I set my eyes on it. It looked like a perfect Spring, early Summer shade. Brightening my face with a touch of color.

Here it is, Rom&nd The Juicy Lasting Tint in the gorgeous shade Peach Peach me. I wanted this shade for the longest, bright tone really stuck in my brains and I am super excited to finally have it.

I love how bright this shade looks and it is also buildable, I can wear it in the sheer way, reapplying it makes it darker and brighter.

Here is the difference, first swatch is just applied and second is after a few minutes when the gloss comes out. It applies shiny but not super glossy, after a little it develops this mirror like shine and the shade doesn't get significantly darker.

The second swatch is removed only to reveal light stain, not only it is light but also easily removed so whenever I do not want to deepen the color I can remove it completely and then apply fresh layer.

I expected some scent but there is nothing I can detect, the shade is gorgeous though :) I love the glossiness and longevity, it lasts well over one hour and then I can reapply or layer a sheer lip balm over it.  When I was wearing it all day long it did not dry my lips out and I find it hydrating. This shade is one of my favorites and it will be hard to put it down to try some other items.

My birthday shopping no.5

 Hello,

this is the last one from this series and it is also slightly different, this time around the brands aren't Asian but closer to home.

The two on the top are Catrice Filler Supreme lip glosses in The Sugarcoated Truth and Fairytale Filter (this one I wanted the most ever since I saw the promo photos because I am a sucker for soft pink lips).

Below is new Essence Soft Baked blush in the shade Think Pink (they used to have a lip gloss with that name and I loved it until they discontinued it so now I have bitter sweet memory of that name). I hope I picked the right shade because some are crazy sparkle, mine just looks glowy.

At the bottom there are two Makeup factory eyeshadow quads in Coffee Break and Rosy Powder. I already have one quad and the shades are very buttery, especially the glitter shades are something else.

Above are Essence lip oils in Cookie Sparkle and Sugar Sparkle, I can already tell that they smell delicious and they sparkle like crazy.

Then there is highly anticipated Catrice Diamond Treasures cream to powder eyeshadow duo in Fairy Dust. I know that there are three options available but before they had almost exact same color combos also in three variations. I believe that I have the 'old' one which are creamy, new ones are supposed to be powders, the one in rosy tones is named On The Go Rose and now I kind of want that one as well :)

Lovely cream packaging belongs to cute Maybelline lipsticks in Upstate and Blind Date, both in Sateen formulation.

There are two Essence Extreme shine glosses in Nude Sorbet and the other one makes my heart flutter because it is bright peach shade named Peach Please.

Single looking Catrice eyeshadow looks a bit sad, all alone :( I wanted to get Essence Mono eyeshadow glitter in Frosted shine but the remaining shade was shamelessly swatched even though there were designated testers underneath, this really makes me angry. At the end I picked Catrice single shadow in Frosted Dust. it is not similar but it is amore subtle sparkly option.

Lastly there is another Essence Glossy Glaze high shine lipstick, this time around in the Cloud Nude  shade. I already have the pink one and I like it so much that I decided to get another one :)

My birthday shopping no.4

 Hello,

this is another one from Asian brands and I am super excited to try these items, I even managed to rip the beautiful blue box :(

First is the oil slicked packaging of Joocyee Glazed Lip Gloss in Sweet Grapefruit, super excited to try this shiny gloss in a beautiful packaging.

Happy sun is GirlCult Nanyang Holiday Collection Mood Blusher Powder in the shade Love to Fight. Not only the packaging but also the product is super beautiful.

Under is a pink tube of Joocyee Crystal Gloss in Lucent Pink. I love the glosses that come in squeeze tubes, I know I will love it unless the formula is somehow thick or if the gloss is too pigmented. after the package arrived this one looked similar... a have already ordered this one in the exact shade... I better love this since now I have two ;)

Then there are three JudyDoll items. I love the shiny silver with baby blue pairing. It looks fresh and clean to me. First is Lip Gloss Watery Essence in Peach Ice with 4 ml of gloss, under is 3D Curling Eyelash iron Mascara Curly in Black (I wanted to try the mini wand so much) and Ice Watery Lip Gloss in Blueberry Bailey's Sweet with only 2,4g of product (it is very small but the metal wand was something I wanted to try out, I wonder if I would like to apply it in the heat, if it would make a difference).

Lastly there is Bbia L'eau Tint in the shade Fleur L'eau. This whole collection is inspired by beautiful florals and I had a hard time choosing only one.

My birthday shopping no.3

 Hello,

I am back with another part of my birthday shopping.

First is Joocyee Spiral Shell Glazed Lip Gloss in the shade Peach Jellyfish (I loved the name plus the shade looked quite natural).

Two lipsticks there are also Joocyee Crystal Jell Mirror Lipsticks in Spring Peach and Awakening Sakura. I have to admit that the packaging is truly beautiful (there are also some other color versions of this yellow toned packaging and I am super interested but first I would like to try these to to see how the formula is like).

In the middle there is Nivea Japan Deep Moisture Night Protect Honey scent lip butter. In the past they had under Labello these lip butters in tin packaging (just like their famous cream) which were just amazing but they discontinued them :( so it was only natural to pick this one when I saw it, to see if they are good like the old ones.

On the bottom there are Canmake Powder cheeks in Powerful Pink, Little Shy Pink and Clever Beige (this one is more cream than beige but I am okay with it). They look so shiny, I can't wait to try them out.

My birthday shopping no.2

 Hello,

yesterday was only one part of my shopping. Today I am sharing some more items, that I decided to get to treat myself for a B-day.

I would like to start with Rom&nd blush from their limited edition with Inapsquare, it is Better than Cheek in the shade Ginger Night. Pale apricot with a little nude thrown in the mix.

Then there is shiny lipstick from Etude Color Lasting Glow Stick in the shade Rosy Taupe, I have to try it out but at first glance it doesn't look Rosy or Taupey.

Similar shade of blush from Bbia Last Blush in Juliet Rose. This one looks a tad more vivid but still very neutral and toned down.

In the bottom right corner is big pot of Skinfood Honey Sugar Food Mask Lip Sleeping Pack, not only it has such a ridiculously long name the packaging contains whopping 21 g of product.

There are two Joocyee Long-lasting Glossy Rouges in Oceanic theme, Diamond Sea and Pink Ocean. There is a lot of different shades but these two spoke to me the most.

For my brows I decided to get Etude Drawing eye brow in Dark Grey. I am filling my brows with powder but I decided to try something 'new' for me and I got this pencil. I had some before but I always found powder to be the easiest to apply with an angled brush, I want to see if I changed my mind and now pencil will become my best friend.

Lastly there is another blush from Rom&nd, Better Than Cheek Mutural Nude series in  Lychee Chip. This one has pretty sparkles in it and that was the selling point for me.

My birthday shopping no.1

 Hello,

this is part 1 of my birthday haul. I recently turned year older and I treated myself with something new, not that I need more make-up ;)

If I start from the top middle there is Etude mask proof fixing tint in Dusty Beige. I keep hope that eventually I will like matte lips :)

Next are two shiny compacts from About Tone Fluffy Wear Blushers in Bubbly Orange Peach and Dreamy Raspberry. I did not expect such a shiny outer packaging, on the sun I could blind someone.

Then going clockwise are three Bbia Overglaze tints in Peach Syrup, Fig Syrup and Grape Syrup (it is a collection of Syrup from different fruit) and I just couldn't resist. When it comes to juicy fruit I seem to forget my sanity.

At the bottom there is 2aN gift with purchase, Glaze Bouncing Tint in Peach Alle, I think this is a shade that they sell in full size as well.

Above is the last item, also from 2aN and it is their Pure Glash Highlighter in Clear shade. This one looked the most natural among their shades.

I will have a lot of fun trying out all of this items.

Unleashia Tanghulu glaze tints

 Hello,

I purchased these two from the same collection but one is not like the other.

They are Unleashia Tanghulu glaze tints in Ice Sugar and Angel Pink. They call them tints but the blue one is just a lip gloss, it can be worn alone but on top of the lip tint sparkles really comes out to play.

They both have teardrop applicators but the Ice Sugar has slightly smaller opening, that prevents too much product to come out at once but I find that it scraps too much of and I have to go back to get a decent amount on my lips.
They have a slight minty scent and tingle but fortunately it goes away pretty fast, if I get some of it in my mouth it feels like toothpaste :)

Ice Sugar looks clear on the lips with blue and pink shimmer particles, if worn alone it is not very visible but layered they are more fun and obvious. Shine lasts for about one hour.
Angel Pink is more rosy and it looks pretty natural on me, I really like this type of shades on me. It applies smooth and evenly. It is not super glossy (after a few minutes it does get shinier) but it fades after one hour and then the stain also starts fading.

House of Hur moist ampoule blusher

 Hello,

today is the day to show you my blush. I have been wearing it non stop lately and if you would ask me a few months ago what do I think about cream/liquid blushes my reply would be: not for me, I am a powder blush girl through and through. This started to shift with my skin starting to get more dry. I am reaching for a creamier products and thicker lotions. My make-up is starting to reflect my skin concerns and the brand is claiming that there is over 50% hydrating essence inside this bottle so I had to see it for myself ;)

It is House of Hur moist ampoule blusher in Cherry Blossom. I actually did not pick it, it was a gift with purchase. Thankfully it is a shade I would pick myself and it looks lovely on me, if I might add :)

I received 10 ml glass bottle, larger ones have pump, this one has angled applicator. I like this, because I feel like I have more control over it. I just wipe some on the back of my hand and then dab a little on my cheeks.

This amount is enough for about ten applications for me. This is soft but still bright rosy pink shade, quite neutral or maybe leaning on the warm side. There is no shimmers but has some wet glow.
I find this one to be very pigmented, so a little goes a long way but still easy to work with.
I love applying it over my foundation, then spraying fixing spray and applying a little powder on top to lock it. Applied like this it lasts all day long on me.

I love the bottle, the shade is lovely and it blends into my skin and foundation really flawlessly, as long as I don't apply too much.

I am really happy with this blush and now I am eying also Nude Beige shade for a more natural look.

Purity and See-Through

 Hello,

these are different because of their odd applicator, I guess the brand name gives it away :)

Oddtype Unseen Ballon tint in Purity and See-Through. Packaging is rather big on these but the product inside is only 3g. They call them tints but there is no stain left behind, to me they are lip glosses.

Uploading: 5744265 of 5744265 bytes uploaded.
These have the weirdest applicators ever. They look like eye shadow brushes, super dense with tons of product. They are soaked and carry way too much, I got used to just wipe the excess over the edge of the tube not to waste any.

Purity is light peach shade, quit sheer on the lips and color barely shows  on my lips (to make these swatches I used a lot of product just to show the colors).
See-through is a true lavender shade, it has a little more pigment and to create this swatch I used less than Purity.

There is no scent or taste and the shine is incredible. They have this formula when they apply semi glossy but after a few minutes turn mirror like. I love the effect and the shine lasts over one hour.
The finish is beautiful and the applicator is pure joy to use. I am looking into soft pink shade with some shimmer. I know I shouldn't get it but I just might splurge.

Empties

 Hello,

this is the second part of my March empties, this pack is made of smaller items but I am still glad t muve them in the recycling bin.

Let start with a Catrice Gel like top coat. It had a nice consistency and created very shiny, glossy top coat over my nail polishes. I liked this one but there are others which I find just as good as this one.

Second is Kneipp Apricot & Marula lip balm. I had high hopes for it but it felt short. The scent is sweet and nice but the texture is hard and after a few minutes (after it warms up on my lips) it gets sticky, it felt like I applied glue on my lips and I decided that it is just not worth it. Mine isn't completely finished but I don't care, I don't like it enough to finish it.

First gloss is Catrice from My Jewels, My Rules collection in the option Apricot Crush. It had light apricot base with shimmers but the color did not translate onto the lips. It had weird soapy scent. It was okay but nothing worthy of repurchasing for me.

Next is my bellowed Catrice lip gloss obsessed in Same gloss, different day shade. Pale pinky nude shade and with the most gorgeous gourmand scent. On the lips shade wasn't obvious but the feeling was exquisite and I loved that. It doesn't hold much product but it also doesn't cost much so I can see myself repurchasing it in the near future.

Pink bottle is Nyx #this is everything lip oil. It was clear lip oil with no scent and with a thin formula. If I applied too much it started dripping down my chin, if I applied regular amount then it was gone after a few minutes (from 10 to 15 min) and that resulted in me constantly reapplying it and this 8 ml bottle was soon finished. I will not be buying it again because this did nothing for hydration and my lips quickly dried up.

This mini Clarins Wonder Volume XXL mascara made clumps and I don't love that. At first it was okay but the longer I had it opened the more obvious it would get, to top that off it dropped my curl and then my lashes looked sad and straight. I had nicer mascaras or maybe more suited for my stubborn lashes, so I will not be buying big size.

Last bottle is Lancome Idole EDP. I love this scent and I have already used up one 25 ml bottle (I still have a large one left :). This is just a mini but the gorgeous fresh and sweet Rose scent lingers all day long and it just makes me happy :) Ten out of ten scent for me.
