Powerful Pink, Little Shy Pink and Clever Beige

 Hello,

honestly I did not have high hope for these, I thought they are pretty but probably will not be that special, I was wrong. They are very special and dear to my heart :)

These cuties are Canmake Powder Cheeks blushes, in my order they are Powerful Pink, Little Shy Pink and Clever Beige

They have this lovely heart design which is quite deep and mine are still noticeable. All of them have this beautiful tiny shimmer which looks more like sateen finish on the skin.

Powerful Pink is the most pigmented and shines pink, glow is beautiful and it is a true shiny blush.
Little Shy Pink is way more sheer and barely visible on my skin, color wise. I like to use it on barely there make-up days where glow is the vocal point not shade.
Lastly there is Clever Beige which has a bit stronger glow but no color, at least on my skin tone. For me this one is a highlighter and a beautiful one.

I made these swatches with my finger and they are stronger than with a brush so when I use them they are a bit less visible and more blended. I think they look pretty natural and the shine is glowing from within the skin.

Each holds 1,8g of product and a little brush. It is soft but picks a little product, enough for the glow to show up but shade is super sheer. I prefer to use these with my own/old brushes but little brushes included are useful too.

I could stare at the all day long. Shades are pretty and swatches are phenomenal. I kind of want to get the peach tone as well, I wish they would also made a brown one... :)

These have become some of my favorite and I would like to collect more but not only as a visual candy, they are gorgeous on the skin and are a joy to use.

Voluming Veil

 Hello,

it has been a while since I tested a new highlighter. This one is quite large and holds whopping 8, 2 g of product. It will last me a long time but there are 2/3 of matte product. This is something new to me and I will see if I will like it.

It is Peripera V Highlighter in the option Voluming Veil. I purchased it because of the beautiful looking peach shiny highlighter. The mattes did not interest me because I wanted the glowy one.

It contains two matte shades, one is yellow cream and other cool light lavender. They are very pale and barely visible on me skin tone.

First I swatched the two matte shades and they are barely there. I had to layer them a few times to show that little color. I use them to 'prepare' my cheek, it makes my skin matte but no color is visible and then layer the shimmery peach shade. When I made these swatches I did not use them on my face so I did not realised that it will not look the same on my face. I swatched them with my fingers not with brush so the swatches are more focused. When I use the glowy shade with my brush I get more individual shimmers which are gold and pink (all together give this beautiful peach shade but on me this isn't achievable). So on me this looks a bit more shimmery than on the swatch but particles are small enough so it isn't too much.

I would prefer if this highlighter would be more sateen, just like on my swatches but fortunately particles are small enough so I don't look too sparkly :)

I still like it but it will not become my favorite highlighter.

Empties

 Hello,

this is the second part of my April empties, they are all of my face products and I really liked all of them.

Beautiful light blue bottle is eggo smartskincare Aquaholic hydrate+plump infused with aloe vera and hyaluronic acid. This has very nice packaging. Top twists and the pump comes out, product is very watery and very little was needed to spread all over my face and neck. It was nice and enjoyable (especially the packaging is awesome) but I am not sure I will get it again, there are other hydrating serums for less. I also have the pink serum and moisturiser to try out, so I am not quite done with this cool brand.

Tilted tube is Missha b.b. boomer primer. It had a lovely pink pearl finish and I would use it under my bb cream or foundation and where I applied thin coverage this would peak through. This is my second used up tube already, first was 20 ml and this one is 40 ml and has a pump which sucked all of it out and now the tube looks super thin and even tilted. I really liked it and I am itching to get a new one but since I have so many other ones I think I should use what I have up and then get it again.

Black tube is Pyunkang Yul Black Tea Time Reverse eye cream which is full of butters, oils and hyaluronic acid should hydrate my skin. Texture was light but left white cast until fully absorbed around 5 min later. I was okay with that since I only used it at night time. It was nice to use but I did not notice any big improvement.

Under is another Pyunkang Yul product, this one is Black Tea Time Reverse eye patches (60 pcs). This is the first time I had box full of patches and I tried to use them regularly on weekends. They felt very cold on my face and immediately when I would take them off I noticed my skin to be smoother in the outer corners but wrinkles would quickly come back (I don't have significant swelling). I took it as a mini spa experience but I probably will not be buying them again.

In the brown glass bottle is Eveline expert C serum. It actually does have a slight citrus scent and sheer brown shade. I had it before and I really like it. I think it is effective and cost for it is low. I think at the moment I don't have it but I have some other brightening serums that I have to go through first before they go bad and then I will get it again.

Bright yellow tube is Dr. Paw Paw multipurpose soothing balm. It is thick and greasy, I actually liked it on my lips at night time. It had no scent and felt like vaseline. Before I had their shimmery version which had large chunks and sparkles got everywhere. This one melts on the lips and stays for a long time. I would actually repurchase this one but I still have so many balms that I need to go through so maybe next year.

Here is a better view of the two Pyunkang Yul items. They are both pitch black with silver/holographic lines of wild nature with deer. So very beautiful but what is important is what was inside and since I didn't notice any big changes I will not be buying them again. I think I will keep a pot to store some of my jewellery or something, it is just too beautiful to throw away.

Moonlight

 Hello,

I am back with another face palette. I used to have only one face palette, now I have I think three more... I always find it hard to find one where I like all of the included shades.

On the photos there is Gogo tales Highlight Contouring face palette in Moonlight option. There are two matte highlighter shades, one warm bronzer and one contour shade.

I love the unconventional pan division. It makes it a bit more unique and separates this palette from any other.

I started swatching it from the top pale shade which has a bit of yellow in it, then followed with pretty warm toned bronzer, next with a contor which isn't super cool toned and I wish it would have more grey in it. Last is tall white shade.

None of the shades has any shimmer and I kind of wish there would be one light shimmery shade so it would substitute as a glowy highlighter... I don't do matte highlighter. I did try it out but it is not for me.

I like the two cream shades more than I thought. The one with yellow undertone is nice to set my eye primer, concealer and just use all over my eyes. I use fluffy brush and the shade isn't very pigmented, just light dusting to prepare for eye shadow. The cooler toned, almost white one has more pigment and is brighter. If I use this one with the same fluffy brush under my eyes it sets my concealer and additionally brighten the area. First one is more neutral and whiter one is for a more dramatic look.
I really enjoy this palette and can use it on my face and on my eyes, I am really surprised just how nice it is.

Pure highlighter and Peach Ade tint

 Hello,

here I have two mini items, one of them is actually full sized while the lippie is free gift and is actually reduced in size but definitely enough to try out the formula.

They both come from the brand 2aN Pure Glash Highlighter in Pure option and Glaze Bouncing Tint in Peach Ade. This is a sample bottle and holds only 2 ml of product.

Highlighter is named Clear but it does have a peachy golden base with silver shimmer. It is quite small for a highlighter but whenever I use it I use very little of it so it will last me a long time.

Tint in Peach Ade at first looks bright but on the skin it is pale peach shade, layering deepens the shade but first layer is barely there peach. It stains evenly and I love that.
It has a bit of minty and cooling effect on the lips for the first 10 min but then it settles and disappears.

Highlighter in Clear is swatched first and the base color doesn't show up much but it does gives a natural undertone highlighter with lots of sheen. I usually don't wear such shimmer on my cheeks but I have to admit that it isn't to individually sparkly because the shimmer is so fine that it glows together. Still not my favorite highlighter but I love to use it on my eyes.

Second is just a stain and here it is evident how light it gets but a few layers make it stronger. Third swatch is freshly applied layer. On the first swatch photo it is clear that it can get very glossy but it is a sleeper. It get glossier after a few minutes after applying it. Here I love the light shade and the peachy tone is just right.

I like the undertone of the highlighter because often they get too yellow golden or too cool silver. This one is nether but instead has peach tone and looks natural, I only wish the finish would be more sateen. Still, I like to use it on my eyes.
Tint is a very nice surprise. I love the sheer tone, shade is just right and how even the stain is after wearing it for an hour. I can layer it and it gets stronger or apply some lip balm on top to keep the hydration but leave the light tone on my lips.
Here I have to say that I have already order some more of these lip tints :)

Cherry Cream palette

 Hello,

I have a second one of these palettes. I believe this one is a limited edition one, the overall packaging has a slight pink tone opposed to the previous one which was a bit on the gray scale.

It is Veecci Self contorting palette in Cherry Cream with the same water ripple design on top. Yes, it is hard to stack them but it is such a beautiful packaging.

Inside there is one shimmery shade and three light matte shades. They all feel soft but I feel like the yellow one is the softest, the most buttery of them all and also kicks the least powder from all the mattes in the palette.

Here I focused more on the matte shades. To get the better view of the different tones.
First swatch is the shimmery one but here the full beauty isn't revealed. On the last photo it looks a bit more realistic.

Second shade is matte pink cherry, then is the 'little' white one and the one that looks almost green on me is the buttery yellow shade. I was surprised to see that they have enough pigment to show up on my skin. I use them under my eyes or instead of eyeshadows to get that brightening effect.

Here the light isn't the best but it shows how reflective the only shimmery shade really is. It does have a bit of a peach base but isn't too warm to distract. It is made out of tiny sparkles and heavy swatch reveals an almost wet look which reflect the light depending how the light hits it.
To the right of it is lighter and wider swatch which reveals the sparkling glory. I must admit that I mostly wear it scattered and it shows up so nicely. This one is my favorite from the bunch.
Now I am on the lookout to see if they make any all shimmery palettes because I would be interested.

My birthday shopping no.1

 Hello,

this is part 1 of my birthday haul. I recently turned year older and I treated myself with something new, not that I need more make-up ;)

If I start from the top middle there is Etude mask proof fixing tint in Dusty Beige. I keep hope that eventually I will like matte lips :)

Next are two shiny compacts from About Tone Fluffy Wear Blushers in Bubbly Orange Peach and Dreamy Raspberry. I did not expect such a shiny outer packaging, on the sun I could blind someone.

Then going clockwise are three Bbia Overglaze tints in Peach Syrup, Fig Syrup and Grape Syrup (it is a collection of Syrup from different fruit) and I just couldn't resist. When it comes to juicy fruit I seem to forget my sanity.

At the bottom there is 2aN gift with purchase, Glaze Bouncing Tint in Peach Alle, I think this is a shade that they sell in full size as well.

Above is the last item, also from 2aN and it is their Pure Glash Highlighter in Clear shade. This one looked the most natural among their shades.

I will have a lot of fun trying out all of this items.

Pink Diamond

Hello,

this was a highly anticipated product for me. I envisioned soft pink glow to come out of it and I hoped it will be everything I hopped for.

Here it is Amuse Face Diamond in Pink Diamond shade. As far as I know this is the only shade available and it looks pretty pink with almost a bit of peach tint in it. I was expecting a beautiful sateen finish since there is no particles visible in the pan.

Nothing in here sparkles and I thought that this would have pinky base with a sateen finish, great as a blush toper or just worn alone to bring some color back to my face with lovely glow.

This Pink Diamond swatches very different. On the skin it is rather golden and sparkles, it is actually made of shimmer when I see it up close.
For me this is a bit too sparkly and I don't love to wear it on my cheeks. I mostly wore it as an eyeshadow.

I first tried to made a 'hard' swatch and then blend it out to show individual sparkles. No matter what I do it is still predominately golden. Applied with brush it has a hint of pink in there but too little for my camera to pick it up.

On the photo below there is a finger swatch and there you can see a bit of pink base with golden glow. I think pink base doesn't transfer, it stays on the finger if applied with it. My eyelid looked slightly more pink when applied with the brush opposed to the other side applied with a finger.

It is nice if you like this type of golden, sparkling highlighter. For me this is merely golden eyeshadow and I don't even love gold on my eyes.
I am still thinking if I should keep it or give it to my sister to try it out.

GirlCult Four Great Inventions series emotion blushers

 Hello,

for today I have two chunky cheek products and they surprised me in the best way possible.

They are GirlCult Four Great Inventions series emotion blushers in Leave Blank and True Color. One highlighter and other looked like a contour or bronzer shade.

The packaging is bulky and very different from everything I ever seen before. At first I thought that I have to unzip it, because of the zig zag edge :) I really like the grey stones on top.
They hold 3g of product each.

The imprint in there with a winky sun is beautiful and very pronounced, it will take a while to disappear.
A nice touch is also a mirror inside which is big enough to actually see what I am doing.

Leave Blank has base color but applied with a brush it isn't that visible but the sparkles are there and create that luminous effect. It is highlighting but not obvious, on my skin it looks pretty natural and everyday despite looking like a sparkling white powder.

True Color isn't contour but rather a soft bronzer shade, very natural tone. Not orange but with a hint of peach tones even though the official description says that it is a rosy nude tone. I noticed with some other products that peach tones suit my skin tone very well (I had peach toned highlighter, bright pastel blush and peach toned bronzer, I used all of them up and are no longer sold so now I am looking for similar items).

These are heavy swatches, when worn on the face they are less visible and softer.

Highlighter comes off on my face very soft, natural looking and that isn't what I have expected. At first I was a bit annoyed but now I see value in it, the more natural highlighter the easier to use daily.
With the bronzer I immediately knew that it will be the one. It is soft, very blurring and buildable. I can apply very little and blend it out nicely. It looks very natural and the tone is just right for me. This is definitely one of my favorite products.

Both powders are finely mild, have no fallout and are soft to the touch. I am on a lookout for a possible blush from GirlCult, now that I know they have amazing formula.

Pink Grey

 Hello,

I wanted to venture a bit into face palettes, especially to get a new contour powder. I found this brand and since these are very inexpensive I took two different ones, this is the first one since the colors appeal to me more.

This palette is from Veecci and it is their face palette in Pink Grey option (there are four plus some limited editions). This one looked the most versatile for me.
The ripple effect on the packaging is beautiful and nice to touch :)

It is supposed to contain one shimmery and one matte highlighter, blush and contour shade, since I am probably not the right skin tone as the brand predicted soft pink 'blush' barely shows up on me and even then it is too pale to be called a blush, at least on my skin tone.

I swatched them in clockwise order, starting with the shimmery highlighter. I like this one on my eyes, for my cheeks I feel like it is too shimmery.
Pink blush is a bit too pale for me skin tone so I started using it on my eyes to set my eyeshadow primer and set my concealer. I use fluffy brush and the color does not show up.
Third is contour which isn't super cool on me but something in between. I would prefer for it to be a bit more grey but even like this I can use it on my cheeks or my eyes.
Last is big pan of this cream matte highlighter. It is slightly lighter on my skin when I pack it on. I can use it in the same matter as the matte pink shade, under and over my eyes to set concealer or primer.

Contour shade is very powdery, soft pink one also kicks some but not that much, the other two are fine.

I love the packaging but shades aren't quite right for me. I like the contouring powder but since it is in small packaging it will be used first and fast. It is not a bad palette, I can see myself using these shades but only the brown shade for its purpose. The two mattes could be used as powders for my eye areas, face and neck. For the shimmery shade I even have a plan to crush it and mix it with my hair spray to add some sparkles and finish it up because I don't believe I can use it all up on my eyes.

Shopping basket no. 2

 Hello,

below is my second part of my new shopping addiction. I discovered this online store with a lot of Asian make-up and I just can't stop buying stuff, soon I will have entire store in my own pocket.

On the top is slim Peripera is All take mood palette (Maltese version) Bravo Pink Puppy, it includes a bunch of neutrals and also a light shimmery blue which is hidden behind the dolphin. Such a fun looking palette, at least from the packaging perspective.

Two muffins on the left are FlowerKnows Butterfly Cloud Collar highlighting & Blush duo powders in Rouge Snow and Pearwood. I picked the most natural, beige brown duos from the collection in hopes to get a lovely bronzer shades and also to match it on my eyes.

Two etherial shells are also FlowerKnows Shell's Jewel Silk Satin blushes in Beach Starfish and Strawberry Bubble. Very nice shades and beautiful pattern. I think this packaging is my favorite of them all.

Underneath is light blue Heart Percent Dote on Mood Dewy melting lipstick in Lively Pink. I heard it is very popular, I have seen some swatches and just couldn't pass this glossy looking lipstick.

Next are two Unleashia Tanghulu Glaze Tints. I believe that the first one is just shimmery gloss and it is named Ice Sugar and Angel Pink is actually tint.

Lastly there are two Etude limited edition palettes, they are Play Color eyes whipping cloud editions in Spring and Summer Whipping Cream. I also got stickers along with the palettes and I am still debating if I should actually use them and decorate palettes, they are cute though.

Shopping basket no. 1

 Hello,

I am guilty of yet another shopping spree. The same store and loads of products which I will split into four  separate posts.

On top there are two Colorrose jewelry series western antique blushes in Gray Rose and Smoked Pink, on the inside they have the same embossing as it is on the packaging. Very beautiful.

Under there is Peripera V highlighter in Voluming Veil with two matte shades and one super glowy peachy shade, I am super excited to try it out.

Another palette is a 2aN better me eye palette in Fairy. I liked the mix of finishes and the name Fairy stuck the most with me.

Little pot is Care:nel berry lip night mask. I purchased this for a fraction of Lanege price and I wonder if it is just as good.

Grey stick in Braye melting lipsweet in Barely color option. All the other shades have matching packaging to the product inside but this light shade (it is pale peach, probably clear with shimmer).

I picked up three Bbia glow tints. Bright pink is Bloom, darker one is Winter and Summer is muted peach shade. according by the packaging (I have not tried them). I am hoping for a glossy longlasting tints with great longevity.

Lastly there are two FlowerKnows Midsummer Fairytales velvet embossed blushes in Blooming Days and Valley Lily. Very detailed packaging and even more detailed embossment inside.

The Balm

 Hello,

I don't have much from The Balm, I find their packaging interesting but not quite right for me. I found a set with these two products below plus a mascara which I will open when I am done with my current one.

I have The Balm lip oil in Too slow, Mauve over shade and Oliver Dewy face drops in Golden Glow option.

Lip oil has a standard packaging with 7 ml of product while Golden Glow holds 28 ml of highlighter. I like the pump dispenser since it is more hygienic and it is precise.

Regular doe foot applicator and my shade is mauve with red tones. The scent is slight but there is more taste than smell. It does not smell like plastic but it is artificial and unpleasant. It is not super strong but just enough to bother me.

Here Too Slow, Mauve over looks a bit more red than in real life but it is like a thin oil. It spreads easily but also disappears quickly, think 15 min. I tried it on dry lips and it didn't heal them, when used on healthy and hydrated lips by the end of the day my lips were dry. I realised that this thin lip oil did nothing for my lips and the taste isn't the best. I am borderline thinking of getting rid of this product.

Golden Glow also has thin texture and spreads easily. I would use less on my whole face and neck that what I used on my swatch. It is not oily but feels like a moisturiser and I just wait a few minutes to sink in and there is this light glow on my face. I use it under my foundation so I think it comes out very subtle. I like it but it is definitely not essential in my make-up routine. If I am out of time this step is the first to skip so I don't know why I even bother buying liquid highlighters, probably because they look gorgeous and I like a bit glow but matte finish (powder on top to prevent my natural oils to mess up my makeup).

Out of the two (I know they are completely different products) I prefer the face highlighter and at first I was eying the Peachy shade but I will not be buying more lip oils from The Balm, just not worth it for me.
