Honey Honey & Twinkle Glitter

 Hello,

I have two limited edition eyeshadows, again from Etude (previously I had two lip balms/glosses in tubes). They caught my eyes, especially the price and when I dig deeper shades looked like something different and I decided to try them out.

They are Etude What's in my eye, eye shadows in shades Honey Honey and Twinkle Glitter.

They look very simple while in the pan, one white and one pink but that is only a trick, on skin they surprised me since they look like something completely different.

It depends from the light how sparkly they look, in no direct sunlight the base color of Honey Honey is seen as sheer white (I love doing sparkly mod look with it), it is not overpowering but just a touch of white base.
Twinkle Glitter has rosy pink base but it somewhat blends into my skin tone and it is not really visible on my skin as pink.
White one has noticeable but light base while the pink one is almost just sparkles, that is the difference between them in the shadows.

When light hits them sparkles comes to life. Hone Honey has white and lavender/pink sparkles which altogether create cool toned look.
Twinkle Glitter has more pink sparkles and it looks warmer, at least compared to the first shade.

My photos don't give them enough credit, I just wasn't able to capture their sparkle, from some angles they looked almost metallic but on sun they looked sparkly. I find Honey Honey shade a bit more sparkly than the pink variation.

On the photo above there is visible slight shine. White Honey Honey version is cool toned and pink Twinkle Glitter leans peachy pink with less base color.

I tried to snap one in the sun but I failed. In real life Honey Honey shined like crazy, full of cool violet sparkles catching the light. Twinkle Glitter has less particles but the base becomes more visible in the sun, it has its own glow.

I find them beautiful one and done shadows for my sparkly days. I wear them to my office job and I don't think they are too much since inside they look more modest but when I wrap it up at work and I am free to roam outside sparkles come to life and they transform to a more fun look.
I absolutely love them and will wear them a lot.

Brow Pencil

 Hello,

I purchased this pencil because it was dirt cheap. I think my sister used to used this one for years and she loved it. I was never a brow pencil kind of gal but I decided to try it out so I can see if it is really so easy to use.

Pencil is Etude Drawing Eye Brow in Dark Grey. It has two sides, on one side is pencil and other holds a brush. To use it I had to remove the white sticker which left me with a sticky residue which I still have not completely removed.

It has a brow brush and I kind of love that, it makes my brows more even and if I apply too much it removes the excess.

I find this triangle shape to be different and nice because I can choose how thick my line can be. This is definitely a plus but pencil itself is quite dry and I don't notice that on my brows but making swatches on the back on my hand felt too dry.

Swatches on my hand are a bit pale because the pencil is dry and pulls on my skin. It can get deeper but only with a few layers. My brows are black but grey pencil works the best since it looks a bit more natural but only if I don't go over the same line a few times then it gets pretty dark and intense.

I actually like this pencil but often I forget to use it because I am just so used to use brush with a powder (this is my usual ritual for brows). It still feels weird to use the pencil but it works and for traveling it is much more convenient.

Spring Whipping Cloud

 Hello,

when I saw this palette my heart skipped a beat. I like light make-up on my eyes and this one looked perfect for me.

It is Etude Play Color Eyes Spring whipping cream eye shadow palette. Color palette looks delicate and shades look easy to use regarding to tones similar to my own skin tone.

I don't know what exactly it is but I love looking at it and shades somewhat look inviting, I feel like it is hard to mess up palette for me.

Top row here looks a bit deceiving.
First shade Butter Flavor is ivory but with a peachy pearl finish, on swatches bellow it is a bit more visible than here in the pan.
Cream shade is Scramble Whipping, it has very slight peach tone to it so it is not too stark but gentle and it blends perfectly into my skin.
Last in a row is Sugar & Salty, this one stands out since it is jelly bronzy/peachy glittery shade. Its tone and finish is different from anything else in this palette. It almost feely creamy in the palette but on the skin it blends in and there is no sticky creaminess.

Second row begins with Whole Wheat Cookie. Compared to the second shade in the top row this one is more neutral, it has no peachy tones to it but can look a bit lighter on my skin tone so I like to use it if I want to accentuate the lid.
My photo doesn't do this middle Mochi Mochi shade justice. This one is a bit brighter in real life and gives a bit of kick to my make-up, it is still soft looking but inside this palette it is the brightest and most colorful.
Last one has almost identical coloring than the first in the same row but this one has some random silver glitters thrown in the mix, it is named Sugar Free. On the lid is pale, matte but still playful since the particles nicely reflect the light. It is super easy to use since it sets my primer, slightly brightens and covers the lid and at the same time adds sparkles.

Last row begins with Oat Latte. I find this name very appropriate and fitting. It is matte and gives a bit of dimension to my lid. I like to use it all over the lid and drag it all the way up to my crease. It is light but has just enough coverage for quick and easy make-up look.
Heavy Cream is light grey. I love greys on me but often they are too deep and then look unnatural, this one  is light and sheer. It still gives the coolness but somehow looks natural on me.
Last but not least is Two Shot Americano. On the photo below it looks a bit more realistic since this deep brown is warm toned, not Espresso deep, almost black shade. I like using it as a liner to create little nice wing but since it is not super deep my make-up still looks pretty natural.

I love the incorporated whipped relief on four shades, such a nice touch to stay on the theme. These four are raised and you get more powder with them.
At first glance these shades look very similar but since I am pale they show up and each has a slight difference in them so I can differentiate them and have use out of all of them.

First swatch is Butter Flavor with pearly finish, followed by a matte, peachy ivory Scramble Whipping (on their swatches this one looks peachier than on me). Glittery shade is Sugar & Salty and base does not translate on my skin. I kind of like that it is sheer because these shades are not my favorite (orange toned bronze shades look nice agains my grey/blue eyes but are not my personal preference).

After the shimmers shade is matte ivory (true ivory without any other undertones and that makes it hard to spot on my arm) Whole Wheat Cookie. The brightest Mochi Mochi shade is next which also does not stands out. On the other side is another ivory but this one has random glitters which sparkles in the sun but hardly visible on my photos - Sugar Free.

Last three have more coloring to them and stand out a bit more. Oat Latte looks warm toned nude, it has just enough color to gently define my eyes.
Grey Heavy Cream exude gentle coolness which I love.
Lastly there is Two Shot Americano for definition but stays in the warm territory. I like that they did not made it super dark and pigmented, I feel like it works better with the whole palette like so.

I understand that these swatches look almost the same but in person there is difference and for me they make a change. I personally like light tones, close to my skin tone with slight variation. I feel ike this palette was made for someone like me but I can see some people being disappointed with pale shades.

Here I would like to focus on the two glowy shades, first in line is Butter Flavor and third is Sweet & Salty. Just to show difference in the sparkly bits.

In the corner there is a bit of Sweet & Salty shade, followed by two mattes and then it is the ivory Sugar Free with random sparkles. It is such an unexpected shade and so nice to put it on when I am in a hurry.

This palette is gorgeous to look at and for me it is also joy to use on my eyes. I don't like big palettes since I often find repeat shades which look the same on me but here I really can't say the same. When I wear them on my eyes they are subtle but make a difference. I love the pale shades which imitate my personal coloring, added peach tones refresh my complexion while grey makes my heart sing. Added sparkles are a nice touch and having a variety of three is lovely, for me it is also very nice that they added darker shade to line but not overpower.

I wear all nine shades and rarely I can say that I love them all. I can't predict which one would be the first to be panned but I know I will not get sick of this color scheme.
I also purchased the Summer option which looks a bit deeper and more violet, we will see which one I will prefer at the end but the next one is held to a high standard for me .

Peach Twist and Crystal Candy.

 Hello,

I picked some more of these lip balms. I know I did not liked the first one but I decided to give it another shot plus it was available as a set so I get to try two more shades :)

At first I di not knew these characters but then I watched some of the cartoons, Cinnamoroll is cute (it makes me want to eat cinnamon buns) but I relate more to Pompompurin. Trying to get world record in napping, so am I ;)

They are Etude Sugar Coloring Jelly Balm in Peach Twist and mini is Crystal Candy. Both shades are existing it is just the limited edition packaging.

Mini has old school plastic tip and the full sized one has one of these donut applicators.
Crystal Candy is minty and cooling. It makes sense since it is marked as lip plumper. Ir really burns my lips and if it gets into my mouth it also makes my tongue numb. For me this one is very strong and I don't know if I will be able to use it much and the regular sized one has sweet cookie scent (I really like it). Plush this one doesn't burn or tingle.

First swatch is Crystal Candy in the mini format. It is pale rosy shade with tons of tiny golden sparkles and second is Peach Twist. Shades look almost the same just second one is a bit more pigmented and the sparkle is different. In Peach Twist it is less dense and silver.
Formula on both is very thin and runny. I have to be careful not to apply too much.

Peach Twist is lovely, I love the scent, barely there color doesn't bother me and formula is on a thinner side (I would prefer a bit thicker to stay put for longer) but overall nice. I don't find it drying at all so that is a very big plus.

Crystal Candy is similar toned but the minty, cooling and tingly effect is too much for me to handle. I am seriously thinking of rehoming this one.

New package no.3

 Hello,

this is the last post of this package, I saved cutest ones for last. These even made me watch some cartoons to get familiar with characters (maybe I even purchased t-shirt with Cinnamoroll :).

Fwee makes these lovely 3D voluming lip glosses and when I saw some new shades I was intrigued. I finally purchased 70% Yogurt (I wanted this shade ever since it came out but it is often sold out) sadly they don't make the sheer version of it... I think it would be lovely. Mini is 70% Rose Hip, peachy duo is 70% Vanilla and mini is 70% Peach Oolong. Minis here are only available in mini formats, I hope they will ever make them in regular size.

Cuties in the middle in green are Etude What's in my eyes, pink version is Twinkle Glitter and white one is Honey Honey. These are limited edition ones and since I at the moment love shimmery eye shades, these two looked and and the price was dirty cheap.

Next is cute Pompompurin Bbia Over Glaze Strawberry Plop shade. This one looked so lovely online that I would get it regardless from the puppy.

Bottom two tubes are from a familiar formula but different shades. They are Etude Sugar Coloring Jelly balms. Big one is Peach Twist and little one is Crystal Candy. I have Bare Pink (cool toned one) and I actually did not like it... I feel like  I am the only one so I decided to give it another try and get some other shades and these two came in a set...it was a no brainer.

Next I fell for Rom&nd Glasting Color glosses, and in particular the mini one Guava Sparkle. This one caught my eye and I would prefer if they would swap shades and sizes because I would love to get more of the shimmery shade. Big one however is Guava Cream. There was also Peony Ballet duo and I would love a sparkly version of it but it was sold out, otherwise I would get both sets.

In the package is Coralhaze Perfect Dew & Fix duo. It includes Dew Drop tint in Mellow and mini lip pencil without any name. I tried to find more about lip pencil it but I can't, it seems like Coralhaze don't even make or sell lip pencils. I kind of hope I won't like it :)

Dusty Beige tint

 Hello,

I decided to try out more matte lip products, I don't love them but if I don't try them out I will never know if my opinion changed.

It is Etude Fixing tint in Dusty Beige. It comes in a matte packaging and it feels almost like it is made out of rubber, nice touch :)

I am not a fan of matte lips on my self but I am trying new things, this line was on sale and I picked out one shade. Now I kind of regret not getting the more brown option because now I want to wear these type of shades more than pinks.

On the wand it looks pretty liquid and doesn't give me immediate matte vibes. There is slight scent, a bit of vanilla and almost honey. Very faint, I wish it would be stronger and more long lasting because it is beautiful.
Formula is a bit sticky after it dries. Not too much but enough to notice. If I lick it it doesn't go away but it also doesn't remove the product. It leaves a bit of print on my cups but mostly from the inner part of my lips (where the product doesn't dry well because it is part of my mouth which is in contact with saliva).
If I put lip balm or gloss on top it leaves a print on the cup. Stain is not removed but slightly lifts and moves around.

Top swatch is fresh and I had to take these photos fast because this tint dries before my eyes. It sets within seconds.

Shade looks dusty but more pinky/red than beige. Fresh application also has a bit more vibrancy to it. When it dries and sets it a bit deeper and muted or smokey.

Here I love the scent the most but I fear that matte formulas still aren't my favorite. Shade is a bit dark for me and having dry lips bothers me (like all matte products does, I am not talking about moisturising properties but just the dry texture). I always want to top them with something creamy or glossy which defeats the purpose.

My birthday shopping no.2

 Hello,

yesterday was only one part of my shopping. Today I am sharing some more items, that I decided to get to treat myself for a B-day.

I would like to start with Rom&nd blush from their limited edition with Inapsquare, it is Better than Cheek in the shade Ginger Night. Pale apricot with a little nude thrown in the mix.

Then there is shiny lipstick from Etude Color Lasting Glow Stick in the shade Rosy Taupe, I have to try it out but at first glance it doesn't look Rosy or Taupey.

Similar shade of blush from Bbia Last Blush in Juliet Rose. This one looks a tad more vivid but still very neutral and toned down.

In the bottom right corner is big pot of Skinfood Honey Sugar Food Mask Lip Sleeping Pack, not only it has such a ridiculously long name the packaging contains whopping 21 g of product.

There are two Joocyee Long-lasting Glossy Rouges in Oceanic theme, Diamond Sea and Pink Ocean. There is a lot of different shades but these two spoke to me the most.

For my brows I decided to get Etude Drawing eye brow in Dark Grey. I am filling my brows with powder but I decided to try something 'new' for me and I got this pencil. I had some before but I always found powder to be the easiest to apply with an angled brush, I want to see if I changed my mind and now pencil will become my best friend.

Lastly there is another blush from Rom&nd, Better Than Cheek Mutural Nude series in  Lychee Chip. This one has pretty sparkles in it and that was the selling point for me.

My birthday shopping no.1

 Hello,

this is part 1 of my birthday haul. I recently turned year older and I treated myself with something new, not that I need more make-up ;)

If I start from the top middle there is Etude mask proof fixing tint in Dusty Beige. I keep hope that eventually I will like matte lips :)

Next are two shiny compacts from About Tone Fluffy Wear Blushers in Bubbly Orange Peach and Dreamy Raspberry. I did not expect such a shiny outer packaging, on the sun I could blind someone.

Then going clockwise are three Bbia Overglaze tints in Peach Syrup, Fig Syrup and Grape Syrup (it is a collection of Syrup from different fruit) and I just couldn't resist. When it comes to juicy fruit I seem to forget my sanity.

At the bottom there is 2aN gift with purchase, Glaze Bouncing Tint in Peach Alle, I think this is a shade that they sell in full size as well.

Above is the last item, also from 2aN and it is their Pure Glash Highlighter in Clear shade. This one looked the most natural among their shades.

I will have a lot of fun trying out all of this items.

Sweety Cream and Cotton Candy

 Hello,

I have two sheer cuties for today with some fun stars in them.

I have Etude Over Glowy Glosses in Sweety Cream and Cotton Candy. Top one with the more pink tube is nude and bottom one with lighter packaging hides soft pink gloss. I wish they would make see through tubes.

Inside the lid there are three stars and rattle a bit when shaken, it is fun but I love that there is a heart shape when seen from above.

Applicators are super long and bend to really hug the lip but are a bit hard to get back inside the tube. Both shades are light and sheer but so very satisfying to look at.

First is Sweety Cream, peach nude, very pale and at first it does sip into my fine lines but after a few minutes is okay. It is not very pigmented to make a big impact. Second is Cotton Candy, baby pink shade which is even more sheer (to make this pink swatch I had to make two layers of this one, while the nude  one is made with only one layer).

They are glossy with very little color payoff. I wish there would be a bit more but I always prefer less than too much pigment. They also have sour grape scent to them and I love them. Shine lasts for one hour, it could be better but okay.

I think they look nice but if they added a bit more color and prolong the shine I would get more of them but now I don't think I would repurchase them.

Mellow Pink

 Hello,

for today I have one of my first tints from Asian market. In the flood of all new purchases this one almost slipped through the cracks.

Etude glow fixing tint in Mellow Pink. The bright pink packaging looks a bit scary but the product inside isn't as bright as the tube suggests.

This formula is a bit more mousse like than what i tried recently. It applies nicely and wand gives me a lot of control over it.

At first it is quite matte but after a few minutes it turns glossy for about 20 min, then the shine fades and is semi matte formula.

First swatch is fresh, after a minute to show the gloss but unfortunately it doesn't last. Shade is also very different than the outer packaging.  It is more of a rosy shade but it still keeps brightness and liveliness.

I find this shade surprisingly wearable and nice on my skintone. Second swatch is a leftover stain. It stains my lips for about one and a half hours. Then it starts fading and wearing off.

There is no scent or taste which is also a bit different.

I love the shade and mousse texture is easy to use. I wish it would stay glossy for longer and that the stain would last. I will use it up but probably I will not be buying more from this line.

Another package no. 2

 Hello,

this is the second part of the same package full of colorful items.

There are three Colorgram Fruity Glass Tints in Soda Cool Peach, Shy Guava and Sulky Lychee and two Fruity Glass Tint Milks in Berry Amazing and Proud Grape (not in correct order how they are pictures but introduction will come later.

Two items in the boxes at top are Etude Overglowy gloss in Sweety Cream and Cotton Candy. They are both supposed to be light and I can't wait to try them out.

Next with white top is Inga Water Glow Lip Tint in Lake. his looks so beautiful on the photos, I hope it will like so also on me.

In the bottom right corner is WakeMake Waterful Glow Tint in Nuve, it is supposed to be deep, moody plum shade and I can7t wait to try it out.

Last item is Dasique Juicy Dewy Glow Tint in Berry Latte another one that I am super excited to try out. On promo photos it looks light, cool toned and super glossy.

Shopping basket no. 4

 Hello,

this is the last part of my package and there are so many products. I realise that I went overboard but hopefully I will at least like these products and use them up.

In the top left corner there is another FlowerKnow eye shadow palette, this one from Midsummer Fairytales embossed five color make-up palette in the neutral Hazel Fawn option.

Underneath in a cream bottle is Etude Nymph aura volumer face primer. It is supposed to make my skin super glowy and I can't wait to try it out or bare skin and under my foundation. I hope it is not to sparkly.

Next is another and last for now FlowerKnows Midsummer Fairytales coating lip lacquer in Bluebell. It is supposed to be super glossy lip gloss and I live for glossy lips.

Going back to the top, in a yellow tube is A'pieu Honey & Milk lip oil with cute little bees. I hope this item is predominately hydrating and will heal my dry, cracked lips.

In the gradient cream to pink tube is Peripera Ink Mood Glowy Tint from their Lucky Lottery collection in Cooling Pink shade. I really like their glow tints and hopefully this shade will be amazing.

Below is my free gift with purchase Laka Fruity Glam Tint in the shade Caffeine Rose. I did not chose the product or the shade so deep brown would not be my first pick but I will remain openminded and I will try it out.

Big nine pan eye shadow palette is Amuse eye color palette in Peony Skin variant. Just a bunch of neutrals with some pretty looking glitters. I can't wait to dig in.

In the floral case there is Cezanne Pear Glow cheek in Beige Coral. I feel like the name really well describes this shade. It looks super pretty and the glow is charming.

Last four items are two sets from Pudaier. Each set includes lip pencil, lipstick and a sharpener, on is in the Cream Cloud (neutral tone) and second one is in Scorpio Coming version (more red).

Shopping basket no. 2

 Hello,

below is my second part of my new shopping addiction. I discovered this online store with a lot of Asian make-up and I just can't stop buying stuff, soon I will have entire store in my own pocket.

On the top is slim Peripera is All take mood palette (Maltese version) Bravo Pink Puppy, it includes a bunch of neutrals and also a light shimmery blue which is hidden behind the dolphin. Such a fun looking palette, at least from the packaging perspective.

Two muffins on the left are FlowerKnows Butterfly Cloud Collar highlighting & Blush duo powders in Rouge Snow and Pearwood. I picked the most natural, beige brown duos from the collection in hopes to get a lovely bronzer shades and also to match it on my eyes.

Two etherial shells are also FlowerKnows Shell's Jewel Silk Satin blushes in Beach Starfish and Strawberry Bubble. Very nice shades and beautiful pattern. I think this packaging is my favorite of them all.

Underneath is light blue Heart Percent Dote on Mood Dewy melting lipstick in Lively Pink. I heard it is very popular, I have seen some swatches and just couldn't pass this glossy looking lipstick.

Next are two Unleashia Tanghulu Glaze Tints. I believe that the first one is just shimmery gloss and it is named Ice Sugar and Angel Pink is actually tint.

Lastly there are two Etude limited edition palettes, they are Play Color eyes whipping cloud editions in Spring and Summer Whipping Cream. I also got stickers along with the palettes and I am still debating if I should actually use them and decorate palettes, they are cute though.

Empties

 Hello,

end of the month is here and below are my empties for the month of November.

First is Etude baking powder B.B. deep cleansing foam with little granules (hence the name baking powder). I used it as a light mechanical scrub but I avoided my eyes so for me this wasn't perfect for removing BB cream but as a scrub it was okay. I am trying to avoid mechanical scrubs but sometimes it feel so good that I can't help it but then I prefer something stronger.

Next is Korres Santorini Grape body moisturiser. I adore everything grape scented and I grabbed this lotion pretty quickly but when I tried it out I was a bit disappointed since the scent is light and more floral than juicy grape. Still nice but not what I expected. The lotion itself was nice but I got it for the scent which wasn't there.

Next I used up also this The Body Shop Shea lotion. This one didn't disappointed with the scent and it was rich, slightly masculine but exactly my taste. Lotion absorbed quickly and I was able to go through a bit faster than normal but the scent was so gorgeous that I don't hold a grudge. I would get it again.

Little orange tube is another one of my beloved Neutrogena oil free face moisturisers. I love the light texture which always nourish my skin no matter how dry it is, it stays put under make-up and does not make be oily. I will forever repurchase it.

When I saw this CeraVe resurfacing retinol serum I knew I will try it. It has a very light, gel like texture and absorbed quickly into my skin and often I would put a heavier cream on top to provide some more hydration but this was a nice retinol and I would get it again.

Last bottle here is Revox hyaluronic acid serum with a convenient pipette. Texture is gel which absorbs quickly into my skin and it is ready to top it off with something locking all that moisture in. The price is low and I like that, I would get it again (I probably already have a backup somewhere).

I have another Korres product and this time it is in this beautiful orange bottle. It is White tea perfume and the name tells you the scent. It was very calming but light plus it disappears quickly. I used up this bottle up in a matter of a few months which is quick for me.

I used up my second NYX fat oil lip drip and this one is Missed Call. It is super similar to Supermodel except it is more pigmented and has no shimmer which isn't even noticeable. I preffered Supermodel but this one was also usable if I was careful not to apply too much at once. I liked these enough to use them up but I don't see myself buying more unless if there will be a shade I will be interested in.

White tube is Dr. Paw Paw shimmery balm. Particles were big and sparkly but also a bit rough on the lips. I don't love it when I rub my lips together and they scrape my lips. I used it at night so the particles wouldn't bother me and I woke up with glitter all over my face. I was glad once it was gone and I am more excited to try the original formula without shimmers.

Second to last is my beloved Crazy Rumours Leaping Bunny Plum and Apricot lip balm. This is my third lip balm from the brand and my love is still going strong. Formula is great for me and light scents are so good. This mix of plum and apricot felt so good together and refreshing. I already have a new option prepared to go next and I hope it will be just as good.

Last but not least is Blistex original lip balm. I still like this classic. The formula is soft, scent light and nourishing properties are there. I don't have a backup since I am trying to got through my extensive stash but I can see myself buying it again.
