Got A Secret, Can You Keep It?

 Hello,

this one is from last years  Catrice limited edition. I thought that this one was from this year... how time flies... I purchased some items and they send this one free of charge, I guess they had some old stock which they wanted to reduce.

It is Catrice Hydra Sheen lip gloss in Got A Secret, Can You Keep It? I like the water ripple design on the bottle and lid.

It looks bright pink but it is very sheer and clear on the lips. Packaging holds only 2,7 ml of product and by this point it is already half empty.

Scent is gorgeous, it reminds me of bubblegum, very sweet.

Applicator looks very cool toned and at first I thought that it is some kind of ph activated but it is not, it is just clear gloss.
I really like this lip gloss, it makes my lips extra glossy and juicy, shine lasts up to one hour which is not bad. Scent is one of my favorites and formula is not too watery or runny.
I don't know how this one isn't more popular, to me it is great and it is one of my favorites, too bad that it is super small, the packaging looks normal sized but there isn't much product included. I will look around if I can get another one since I know I would enjoy it.

lip gloss syrup

 Hello,

I am back with a familiar product. These completely stole my heart and have become one if not my favorite lip gloss formula.

They are Bbia Over Glaze lip glosses in Peach Syrup, Fig Syrup, Grape Syrup, Peanut Syrup and Jujube Syrup. I picked a nice variety of shades, there is nothing strongly pink but I had that covered in one of my previous post.

I love their packaging with a recognisable bottle and silver lid, very easy to pick it out from my large collection.

I love how they look all together, I think they have really nice shades overall but there are even more on the market... I know I don't need them all since I had these on my hands for so many days to play with and I still love wearing them.
They have minty scent and slight cooling sensation, it is very mild and I don't mind the feeling.

Here I tried them to apply pigment on top and then sheer them out, just to see how versatile they are and all are made with just one layer.
Peach Syrup is a bit more sheer but it has vibrancy to it which is so gorgeous. It is sheer but I love wearing it with muted nude make-up to make my lips the centre even though it is sheer, the vibrancy makes up for it.
Next is Fig Syrup a bit more red, I thought it would be more muted but its vibrancy is so gorgeous and I think it looks great with bronzy look.
In the middle is cool toned Grape Syrup, I feel like this one makes me look super cool. All I need is a bit of liner and that is it.
Peanut Syrup surprised me a lot, this one would normally not be my pick since I don't love warm toned nudes on me but peachy tone makes it all worth it. Such an effortless nude shade and I never thought I would like warm toned nudy so much.
Lastly but not least is Jujube Syrup, I expected this one to be cooler but it still pulls warm on me. I feel like it has a similar vibe like Grape one just this one was warmer.

All in all I love all the shades, I think Peach Syrup is my favorite but all oft hem already have dents in them :) Shades are super versatile, super glossy and juicy, slightly minty and very long lasting, up to one and a half an hour. There is no tint but slight layer of pigment remains and it can build up but it is also easily removed. I like to apply it and go, reapply once or just layer clear lip balm on top to preserve sheer color output.

As much as I love these I already have another one on my mind... in a more pink shade...

Strawberry Plop

 Hello,

I have another limited edition from my recently discovered Sanrio friends. This one is adorned with Pompompurin, friendly golden who likes to nap, just like me :)

It is Bbia Over Glaze lip gloss in Strawberry Plop. Mine is in limited edition packaging but this shade also comes in their 'regular' packaging/line. What confused me at first is the lid, Over Glaze normally comes with silver mirror like lid and their Glow Tints usually have lids tinted and match the color inside.
This limited edition is the lip gloss and leaves no tint behind, no matter the colored lid.

It is soft, light and slightly cool toned pink shade. I would described it as milky pink. After first application it does settles slightly into my lines but just a little and after a few minutes that disappears and it creates even uniformed layer over my entire lip.
Scent is a bit menthol like and first 15 minutes there is some cooling effect but it is not painful or tingling.

Shade can be packed or sheered out but overall effect is still sheer and translucent. Shade is visible and gives the sweetest pink vibe, I love this shade and it is visible, it doesn't just disappear just because it is light.
Shine is amazing and it can be achieved with just one coat but I like to put a little more on the middle to get a bit more color and plenty of shine. It lasts for around one and a half hours which is the most I have ever tried before.

I really like Bbia packaging, it is quite a simple bottle but still very recognisable. Lid confuses me a bit since I wired my brains into thinking silver are glosses and tints are colorful. I don't love the mint scent, I would prefer something fruity but it is okay, I don't hold it against them. What really matters is beautiful shade and intense shine, then add super long longevity and you get one of the most amazing lip glosses.
I love this line so so much, I already have 5 other shades and the ones I have tried are the same as this one (this limited edition packaging does not mean there is different formula). I am already planing to get more shades since this translucent glow is beautiful.

Guava Jam, Coconut Water and Passionfruit Vanilla

 Hello,

I am back with another limited edition from Catrice, this one a bit more recent. They released 5 different scent or shades of Summer lip glosses.

They are Catrice Peptide Lipglosses in Guava Jam (I am not sure how guava smells like but I can imagine this being it, it does not smell like a mix of fruits like the yellow option), Coconut Water (lovely coconut scent not plastic at all) and Passionfruit Vanilla (fruity).

They have SPF 25 and I expected icky taste but there is none, even after wearing/reapplying it all day.

They all have clips on top to be hooked and little charms at the end, they are sweet looking but I don't think I would put them on my keys or bags to wear them as charms.

Applicators are pretty standard and they dispose product which is them easy to use. Guava Jam is the only non shimmery from the three I have.

Guava Jam is peachy-pink, color and scent wise is my favorite, shade is not so obvious on the lips since I don't use that much but still a sheer wash of fresh looking shade without being to obvious.

Coconut Water has a bit of yellow base and it is full of tiny gold and silver shimmers, again when put on the lips base color doesn't show up just the little shimmers, there is a lot of them but the look isn't frosty (they are not as intense as Ziaja ones). I love that the coconut scent is sweet and not icky artificial.

Lastly there is Passionfruit Vanilla with also a bit of yellow base and shimmers but here are a bit larger and just gold. Particles seem a bit larger and on the Sun they sparkle in a lovely way.

Longevity is pretty nice, the shine lasts for one hour. They all smell really good and not plastic like which is a very nice surprise considering the SPF included and Coconut scents have this tendency to smell like a plastic bag for me.
I love them all but I think my favorite is the pink one :)

I would rate these lip glosses very high and I hope they eventually come back in their regular line, I think they will have a lot of fans.

All That Berry

 Hello,

my love for Peripera lippies continue. When I saw another pink lip gloss I just had to have it.

It is Peripera Ink Glassting Lip Gloss from their limited edition which is called Soft Berry and my shade is All That Berry. I already have another shade from this line called Berry Best and I purchased that one back in September last year. There is another one, more peachy looking and it is also lovely but it is hard to get since it is an old line.

It has their standard huge applicator with tons of product, I have thin lips and this much product is a bit too much so I have to remove some to get nice application.

Shade is medium pink and it is not too vibrant, it remains in that neutral zone, color and tone wise. I really like this tone on me and it goes with a lot of different make-up looks. It looks very neutral.

I love their strawberry milkshake scent which they add to all of their lip glosses (it is one of my favorites), shade is lovely pink and gloss is insane. This one is now my favorite shade among all five that I have, mainly because all other four are brighter shades and this one is softer.

Empties

 Hello,

this is my first part of my empties, they are make-up and lip balm related, so more face focused group.

I finally used up these two Catrice HD Baking & Setting loose powders in 1 Translucent and 3 Cool Beige. Middle shade no. 2 was sold out so I got white one and the one that it is too dark to mix them together to match me and this loose powder combo really held up my oily skin in check. My make-up lasted exceptionally well through the day. Each powder holds up to 23 g of powder and these together lasted me for more than one year. They are discontinued but I have a backup of both shades. Now I will use something else to see if there is anything else good for my oil skin (I have all these powders already in my stash so nothing new for me).

Next is Catrice HD Liquid Coverage Foundation in Porcelain Beige. Another one from their HD line and I think these liquid foundations are staying even though they did revamp them a few years ago. This shade is not my perfect match, I purchased it online thinking I am buying my right shade. This one is a bit paler and more yellow in tone. I used dropper applicators and added a little bit daily to my perfect foundation shade to use this one up :)

Next is my very last one of these Avon Supershock Max black mascaras. I think this one is discontinued :( It has a big plastic wand and it separates my lashes, adding a bit length but it does not clump them and afterwards they look pretty natural. I really liked the more natural look and almost always I look for a plastic wand because of this mascara. I was really spoilt with it and now I am a bit sad that this one is gone. The one that I use now is clumping my lashes and I have to be very careful while using it, I already miss my SuperShock Max :(

I purchased this baby in a set of five, it is Essence Juicy Bomb lip gloss in Tangy Tangerine. First I wanted to go for something pink but juicy Tangerine scent took over me. Shade was very sheer with tiny shimmers which sparkles in the sun, scent remained for several minutes. I wish these would be a bit more longlasting but at the end when they are cheap as chips I don't mind too much. I really enjoyed using it but now I jumped on the pink version. There is new set available and only one shade is a limited edition, available only in that said set and of course that is the one which calls me the most.

This is the second tube of Catrice Lip Jam Hydrating Lip Gloss in I like You Berry Much (first one was strawberry and since the lid cracked it dried and I was not able to finish it). This one was sheer with a bit thicker formula, more balmy than Essence gloss. There was slight fruity scent and it had some shine. The unfortunate thing is that this one also went bad. I don't know what exactly happened but it got so thick that when I put it on my lips it was all stringy. I did not want to force myself over using something obviously expired (this was a new thing, at first it was fine) so I am throwing it away before I can completely finish it.

Lastly there is Crazy Rumors Sugar & Spice lip balm. This one surprised me, scent wise. To me it had a mulled wine scent and I opened it for the first time at my work, talk about awkward. Every time I reached for it I remembered :) All in all the scent was pleasant, balm was nourishing and was adding some clear shine to my lips + hydration. I really like Crazy Rumors balms, I think I used up four now and I am very pleased with all of them, I am already using new flavour so this one will not be too missed.

Guava lips

 Hello,

I am back with a familiar product in some new, fresh shades with two different finishes.

They are Rom&nd Glasting Color Glosses in Guava Cream and mini is Guava Sparkle

Applicators are almost the same size, not much difference and I like that they were somehow able to keep the size since I find it very fitting for my lips, I usually don't need to reapply.

Shades are almost the same, rosy red but cream version is a bit more sheer and the sparkling one not only has more pigment, there is also tiny silver shimmer which does not distracts but adds to the glow.
Cream option has slight fruity scent while sparkling one has none but it tingles, thankfully the sensation disappears fast.

These are lovely, very similar shades to my lips and look very natural on me. I really like this formula as they are very glossy.

I know I say that for all of Rom&nd shades but these two are great and possibly my favorite. I just wish the mini would not have the tingle but I love the shimmer.
I found out that they now have separate shimmery line and I am excited for it but they did not included Guava Sparkle... :(
I think that is a missed opportunity but maybe this shade did not get great reviews or maybe they will add it later, hope remains.

Orange Spritz

 Hello,

a little while ago Catrice released little limited edition. Lately their collections did not pulled me in but this time there was something which kept calling my name.

This little cutie is Catrice Summer Lips Lip Glaze in Orange Spritz. Packaging is glass and holds a whopping 8,5 ml of product.

I have seen before this paddle silicon applicator but this one is really tiny and even though it is covered in gloss I need to reach for a second coat to full cover my lips. Applicator itself is very soft and bendable.

Color looks very bright orange with mostly silver shimmers, on the lips color is not visible but shimmers sparkle in a modest way. I mean that the particles are not super visible just add to the overall shine.

There is orange drink Fanta in the market and even though it has been a while since I drank it, this scent immediately reminded me of it.

I was pleasantly surprised by this lip gloss, I like the overall shine and sparkles, scent is different and really nice. I am glad that it isn't super orange and even though the applicator feels a bit flimsy it is okay to use. I have seen that the yellow - Lemon version is still available and I am itching to try that one as well.

Pinkmelon Glow

 Hello,

my obsession with stick lip balm/gloss hybrids continues. I am on a search to find the glossiest and the most longlasting one that there is.

This one is Self Beauty Veganize Collagen Lip Glass Balm in the shade Pinkmelon Glow. I like the soft pink packaging and the heart character which looks like it works at the call center is so funny to me :)

It makes me smile whenever I see the little heart.

The name suggest that the shade is pink but it looks orange and it is packed with colorfull flakes, the texture looks very jelly like. This much product sticking out is way too much. I figure it out the first time I have tried it that this one is the softest. The slightest touch melts it and if I get too much out I get it all over my lip line. I would use half less, just a tiny bit sticking over the plastic and it covers my entire lips.

Sparkles are irregular sized and quite large, to me they look more like flakes, consisting of mostly gold and pink but there are some blue and cool violet thrown in the mix to make it more interesting and different.
Base color is not visible but the sparkles are so intense and packed that there is no need for color.

I like the super soft texture but I will not be bringing it around in this heat. Shade is non existing but there is plenty of sparkles to make for it and shine. I dare to say that this one is the glossiest that I have to tried.
There is no scent and while I love a good scented product at the end it is better if it is non scented since I might not like the scent or got sick of it, but if there is no scent to begin with I will like it as long as the formula is right.
This one makes me want to get some other tinted shades as well.

Swirl it, don't shake it

 Hello,

in February I have reviewed mauve shade named Don't Slurp So Loud and I really liked it. I wanted to get backup of that lovely shade plus I wanted to try the soft pink one shown below...

They are Catrice Marble-licious liquid lip balms in Swirl it, don't shake it shade. This line is discontinued but online store offered this shade as gift with purchase so I made two purchases so I would get two gifts :)

The marble-swirl design is there and it is beautiful but it does not last for too long. I am super glad that I was able to get this shade but the mauve one was sold out and I will not be able to get it.

On the applicator it looks mid toned pink and super juicy. Scent is again wannabe caramel but it is light and almost like they are trying to cover something up. Not bad but also not great.

Shade is very pale and on my skin milky pink, on my slightly red lips it settles into lip lines and it looks odd but after a minute or two it is fine, almost as if the color adapted, sinked in and it looks more natural. After the gloss fades the slight pink tint is still visible and if I reapply next coat blends in seamlessly.
I like this shade just as much as the mauve and I am glad that I got this one but I am not sure if I should keep the backup, I know my sister also has a soft spot for pale pink.

Bunny Pure Pink & Blushed Candy

 Hello,

I have been keeping these under wraps for far too long.

They are Clio Volumate lip glosses in Bunny Pure Pink and Blushed Candy, each with 3 g of product.

Cute bottles and mega glow convinced me to purchase them. I picked two pink shades and I think I did the right call.

Applicators are short and chubby, they carry way too much product for my thin lips so I have to be careful. Texture is something else, it is thicker but not sticky. On the first one you can tell how the product folded down, it is not running since there is some thickness to it.
They are a bit minty and cooling + tingling, I don't love that feeling but it does go away after app. 15 min.

They have this jelly texture which is unique, are pigmented but can be sheered out.

Bunny Pure Pink is light pink, slightly leaning towards warm territory and I love to pack it on. I find it to be lovely and I feel like a princess, younger me dreamt of shade like this.

Blushed Candy is deeper and brighter. This one I prefer to wear in thinner coat because of its impact.
No matter how thin I apply them they smooth over my lip lines and make them appear like I have no lip wrinkles. Formula is really good.

I like the compact little packaging and shades are lovely. I started to wearing them together, first the lighter shade and right before I go out I put a little deeper one all over but avoiding outer edges to get slight gradient look which is defined from the center and blurs outwards.

The only thing is the tingling, I don't like that but super glossy, juicy formula wins. I will keep an eye open to maybe get more shades or backups of these two since the wet look that these two give is insanely good.

Sweet Mirabelle Plum & Juicy Watermelon

 Hello,

I am back with some sweet Summer lip glosses. I had these two for a while now and on top of the white tube it says taht it expires in April 2026, ups :)

They are Ziaja lip glosses in Sweet Mirabelle Plum and Juicy Watermelon. When I tried the first two I wanted to try the remaining two as well.
Again one has a white packaging and the other one is see through.

They both have the same tiny shimmer which looks frosty on the lips just like the first two tubes. Sweet Mirabelle Plum has slight yellow tone on top of white and Juicy Watermelon is pink with white reflection.

First swatch makes it look like a little monkey, no? ;)
Sweet Mirabelle Plum looks similar to the first two but Juicy Watermelon looks different but with the same sheen.
With these two I can really differentiate the scents and since I am familiar with Plum and Watermelon scents I can really pick them out.

I really like this line of glosses, I like the fresh juicy scents, frosty glimmer and non sticky formula. Once on the lips they turn thin and almost like oil (thin) but still very glossy, my lips are nourished after wearing them all day.
I think these two are my favorite from all four and I would gladly repurchase them.

Stillness and Par Ave Maria

 Hello,

here I am with Dinto items, I don't know what exactly it is about this brand but I am oddly interested in them. Maybe it is all of their literature inspiration or high praises of their items in general... all I know is that I want to try it all :)

These two Dinto items were sold together and I thought it would be a nice way to try also their blush since this one is a mini. If I won't like it it is at least something small.
Regular sized Dinto is Mirrorless Lip oil Gloss in Stillness (4 ml) and mini is Dinto Soft Glow Liquid Cheek in Par Ave Maria with 1,6 ml of product.

Blush Par Ave Maria looks beige and Stillness gloss looks more mauve toned here, none has any sparkles.

First swatch is blush Per Ave Maria and here on me it looks pale and slightly peach toned, in real life it pulls a bit more baby pink. Formula is at first shiny and when it dries it dies matte.
I tried to use it over my foundation but that was a fail since it did not blend into it but it lifted and messed with it. My best bet was to use it under foundation. I also noticed that the more I was blending it the softer the shade and then it completely melted into my skin and was not detectable especially with the foundation on top of it.

My next vision was to use it on my lips and that worked, it is light enough to slightly overline and create more even base of my lips for further lip products. I wore it alone or under some lip balms and glosses and it wore evenly and undetectable. I like it more as a lip product than blush and that is how I will use it up.

Next swatch is Stillness and it is more muted and mauve than what is shown on the photos. I don't mind the shade I have since it is light and understated. Formula is not sticky and very glossy. At first it smells slightly fruity and once on the lips there is slight tingle at first I wasn't even sure if it was coming from this item. It leaves no stain.

At first I was disappointed in blush but when I found another and better for me option how to use it, I can say that I love it now and I think it will be used up pretty fast.

Gloss is nice but nothing too special. I like the gradient packaging, slight fruity scent, even the minimal tingle doesn't bother me. Shade is lovely and shine lasts, at first it isn't super glossy but after a few minutes it gets glossier. If I will find other shades on sale I might pick more up otherwise I will just check some other lines from them.
