Roses on my face

Hello,

today I would like to talk about one awesome product. I had older version of this already and ingredients list is almost identical. I was scared that this one won't work just like the old one but thankfully it turned out to be just as good as the old one.

Melvita fresh micellar water

So, I have been using this Melvita fresh micellar water for two weeks and results are already seen. I put a few drops on cotton pad and remove all make-up residue (I first use baby wipe then follow with face wash and as a third step I use micellar water). I really put it to the test because lately my skin started to misbehave and some acne showed up. I used this micellar water twice a day and after a couple of uses my skin started to clear up.
For me this product is forever repurchased, I know it is a bit expensive (15,30€) but so worth it. I checked their official page and they jet again changed the packaging, now the bottle isn't see through like mine but ingredient list is identical.
BTW, did I mention that it smells like fresh cut roses? Delicious.
I only wish they would reduce the price tag, other than that it is pure perfection.

Pink lips

Hello,

two days ago we were surprised by snow. Out of the bright blue sky white flakes started to fall and it got so cold that we had to shovel our way out to get to work and electricity was also out so I couldn't even use internet but today I have something really good for you.

Aldo Vandini Volume lip balm

This lip balm/gloss is by Aldo Vandini. I bought it a long time ago but started using it recently. I took two versions and the first one which was adorned with purple flowers and it was supposed to be moisturising was not good. Mediocre moisturising properties and horrible plastic taste just aren't my thing so I didn't had high hopes for this one.

Aldo Vandini Volume lip balm

This one is supposed to be volumizing which I haven't noticed but it has a lovely sweet scent but no taste what so ever. The packaging is just right, 10 ml, and the hole where the product comes out is nicely sized and angled applicator makes it easy to apply while on the go.

Aldo Vandini Volume lip balm

I know here it looks like bugger but on the lips it looks nice. It is pink with some pearl shine, no distinctive shimmer or glitter just pearly shine and I guess that is the volumizing part of the product. I have been using it all day and my lips are nourished and soft. I wish it would be glossier, juicier just like a proper lip gloss but it is still all right considering that this is actually a lip balm. It provides my lips with some shine but to maintain I have to reapply quite often. At the end I don't mind if the product really nourishes and keeps my lips from looking dry and flaky. I think that this is a nice little product for girls who like just a tad of color and soft, kissable lips  ;)

Injeanious

Hello,

this review is long overdue. I just wanted to really test it out to see if I really like it and give you my opinion about it and did I like it?

Catrice Denim Divine LE Injeanious

This palette is from Catrice Denim Divine LE and this is the only palette that they offered but they bother and named it Injeanious. Case is made out of rose gold with a bit of a jeans texture as print on top. It looks pretty but it collects fingerprints like crazy. I also noticed that it is hard to open, I always mess up my nail polish so I don't even close it anymore and make sure I store it in safe place.

Catrice Denim Divine LE Injeanious

You get a nice mix of neutrals and a bright coral thrown in the mix, also they played a bit with finishes and tossed some matte, semi-matte and metallic shades in there.

Catrice Denim Divine LE Injeanious

The first shade is shimmery and for me perfect for highlighting my inner corners. I like the fact that is is cool toned, with some silver sparkles since I don't like gold in my inner corners. I can imagine it would look good also as an all over the lid if you like something shimmery and eye catching.
Second shade is barely visible here on my hand and it is matte shade which  I like to use on top of my slightly sticky base. I could leave it alone but since I'm not huge on matte trend I put other shades on top and use this one as a base or to help blend my crease shade better if I put too much of dark tones, since it matches my skin color.
Third shade is that bright coral which makes this palette such an eye catcher. Worn all over the lid it makes a statement but paired with other browns it helps to warm them up and make them just a bit more interesting.

Catrice Denim Divine LE Injeanious

Fourth shade have some sort of a metallic sheen and bronzey touch. It looks amazing as a single all over the lid shade or mixed together with coral shade to make it warmer and more like sunset.
Fifth shade is semi-matte and nice for faking or accentuating the crease. For my light skin tone this one is great.
The last shade looked a bit odd to me. All of the shades are warm and go well together but this one looks like it is dark blue and just don't fit with the rest, well that was what I thought before trying it. It is dark grey but you can intensify it and make it look black. I can use it to fill in my brows (I have to be careful and not overdue it) since they are black or as a liner to line my upper lash line.

Catrice Denim Divine LE Injeanious

I feel like this palette has everything I want. Strong highlighter, nice neutrals to play for days and darker grey/black which I can use on my brows or eyes. It is a great companion I just wish it wouldn't be so hard to open.
I always struggle with eye shadow palettes because there is always one or two or half of the shades I just don't love that much and I know I won't use them. I have two or three palettes where I like all of the colors but I think they all are missing some shades to make them perfect and now this one came along and for me it is amazing. I seriously don't need any other eye shadows, this palette is sufficient.

Are they really similar?

Hello,

the other day when I was doing my make-up I spotted potential dupes. I bought so many eye shadows lately that I lost track of them, so it is possible that I'm buying similar colors.
Sometimes they don't look so similar while in the pan but when you swatch them you have to admit that you really don't need both.

Misslyn Flirty Copper & Benecos So what!

First one is from Misslyn Eyes, eyes baby edition in the shade Flirty Copper and second one is from Benecos in So what! shade. On the first glance they do look similar and I was curious if they could be swapped.

Benecos So, what! & Misslyn Flirty Copper

On the swatches I changed order (I'm sorry, I really wasn't thinking). First swatch is made with Benecos one which is more gold compared with bronzier Misslyn shade.

Benecos So, what! & Misslyn Flirty Copper

Flirty Copper from Misslyn also appears more metallic than Benecos mono shade.
So, the verdict is that they are not dupes at all and I can keep them both but in the future I have to be more careful. I like them both and I just couldn't pick favorite.

Love

Hello,

today I will be super short. I'm testing a lot of new make-up items but I don't feel ready to write down my opinions just jet so I decided to show you skin care item which I almost finished up already.

Avon Love body lotion

I got it from Avon and I actually wanted perfume but I wasn't so sure if I will really like the scent so I opted for body lotion of the same scent. They named it Love and I think it suits it. The scent is flowery but not sickly sweet. It has some fresh notes and that is the reason why I like it so much. I prefer fresh almost masculine scents and while this one is feminine it is not overpowering. My sheets smells so nice because I have been using it non stop and the scent transferred on them. I have only a couple of uses left and then it will be gone. I think I will purchase the perfume soon in the future.

Avon purchase

Hello,

I received my order from Avon. It has been so long since I placed my order that I almost forgot what I ordered. Just three items this time but I can't wait to put them to a test.

First is an already discontinued nail polish with a holographic particles, I can tell you that it looks magical and I can only hope it will look the same on my nails.
Next, product in a bigger white packaging is from nutra effects line and it is their revamped BB cream in Light with matte formula. In the past their Solution items didn't suit me but since I haven't tried nothing from their newer line I thought I will give it a go.
The last item is a super shock max mascara which I already had and it is amazing but this one has waterproof formula which I never had before. We will see how will that go and I hope it won't be to hard to remove.

Project polish

Hello,

this year I decided to try and finish as many as possible bottles of nail polish. This decision was made after I counted how many polishes I have and I started to notice that older ones don't have superb formula anymore. I initially picked 10 bottles and when I finish one or two I replace it with another one. It is almost the end of April and I know that for this month I can't use any more so I decided to post it today.

Avon Ballerina & Cherry Jubile

In January I used up two Avon polishes. First to say goodbye was dark red one, named Cherry Jubile. This was my first red nail polish, well actually this is the second bottle of it but this was the first red shade I tried and I absolutely loved it. I would repurchase it but maybe next year.
Next it is Avon Speed Dry polish in the shade Ballerina. This was a nice milky peachy pink shade and while it is still available I probably won't repurchase since I found similar shade I prefer over this one.

Essence Spell Bound! & Right, Girl!

In February I used up another two bottles but this time from Essence (I didn't planed that, it just sort of happened that way).
Again, first I used up another red shade called Right, Girl! At first I didn't cared for it but it grew on me and I enjoyed using it and probably if it would still be available I would repurchase it.
The fourth shade I was done with it was another old Essence polish from the magnetics line, named Spell Bound! I didn't use magnet with it since my nails are to curved for patterns to show up but I used it as a base for glitters and it worked just fine but it didn't stole my heart.

Essence I'm the Boss & I'm Bluetiful

These two were used up the last. In March I finished the grey one called I'm the Boss and in April I was done with the blue one called I'm Bluetiful.
Their formula started to change as you can see that the colors didn't match the bottles anymore. They were a bit dull and beautiful flakies didn't show up properly. I still managed to use them up and be done with them. I'm not sure if I would repurchase them if they would still be available simply because I was disappointed that they changed so fast and so drastically.

This is my progress in four months. I think I did well considering I was also wearing other polishes occasionally. I can only hope I will continue with this pace through the entire year.

26. NOTD

Hello,

today I decided to repaint my nails and I chose one of my new paints which I bought on beauty market. I don't even know where in Slo. you can buy LCN polishes, maybe I'm walking around them every time when I'm at the drug store but higher price makes me look away  ;)

LCN Tokyo Expression

This one is named Tokyo Expression and it has a cream finish. In the bottle color looks a bit lighter, when it dries on the nail it turns darker but not in almost black shade.

LCN Tokyo Expression

Here you can see how it looks like on the nails after an hour. Here it still looks nice but I can tell you that it doesn't looks like this anymore, I have a felling that it doesn't dry completely and if you bump you nails into something it will show up. The formula is the same as it was with the green one named New York Beat and I experienced massive tip wear the next day and I'm pretty sure the same will happen with this one.
In general, based on these two pals I'm not impressed by LCN quality and I don't see the point in buying such an expensive bottles to get not so great formula. I would rather spent my money on Avon, Essence or Catrice polishes (did you heard the news that Cosnova will launch another, third brand? The rummer has it that it will be more luxurious one. I can't wait to see more).

I'm nuts about you...

Hello,

I have been talking about one blush from this line already and I thought they would have the same formula just different color but I was wrong. I find them to be slightly different.

Catrice illuminating blush I'm nuts about you

Catrice makes these illuminating blushes and the one in the picture is named I'm nuts about you.

Catrice illuminating blush I'm nuts about you

In the pan it looks quite bronzey or nude toned but swatch made on the back of my hand proves that there is more to it. Of course when I use it on my face I use brush and the color isn't as intense but still noticeable. The pigmentation is great but you can also pick just a tiny bit of color to make it look softer. This blush also contains some golden sparkle which makes it look more warm and summery.

Catrice illuminating blush I'm nuts about you

Here you can see that it actually looks more like a burnt orange, I'm not sure if you can see the golden reflex but it is there and it is beautiful.
The difference that I noticed between the colors is in staying power. While the coral shade La vie en Rose fades trough the day I have a feeling that this one stays on longer. At the end of the day it is not as intense but still more noticeable.
I find both shades to be beautiful and I love the golden specks that makes them really glow so I'm intrigued to get the third shade as well. It is called Coral me maybe (I love the name) at it looks brighter and more vivid. I just love the formula so much.

P.S. While researching I noticed that they changed the embossment. When they came out two years ago they had diamonds on top with with equal parts of lighter and darker areas while now there is the chevron pattern with bigger area of lighter color. I don't know if they tweak the formula as well or if the colors are identical but I thought it would be interesting to know.

Olive on the eyes

Hello,

I'm in full spring mode and it shows in my make-up. My cheeks are flushed, lips are glossy and I have been sporting something green on my eyes for a while now. I own three, actually four green pencils. I don't know when my love for green appeared because my eyes are grey/blue, already colorful and I usually play it safe with neutrals but recently I have been picking up more green and incorporating it in my everyday looks. I swear I use light hand and don't over do it, I don't look like a clown afterwards.

Benecos natural kajal Olive

The most recent one is from Benecos, their natural kajal in Olive. If I would have brown eyes I would wear more olive green tones but since I'm not so lucky and I don't have hazel eyes I feel like I have to be careful. In the store this shade looked amazing and I wasn't disappointed. The shade is an absolute stunner.

Benecos natural kajal Olive

It shifts from darker green to an olive almost golden shade. It has this multidimensional look which gives an illusion that I used more colors when I used only one.
The texture is soft and easy to put on, no tugging the lid with this baby and the best thing is that it stays put just like the Grey version.
What can I say to sum it up, Benecos pencils really have great formula, well they work for me and I'm hard to please when it comes to pencils. If you ever see their stand I really suggest you to check their items, they are great.

eyes, eyes baby

Hello,

it took me forever to finally try this Misslyn eye shadow from their Eyes, eyes baby limited edition. I don't know for how long it will be available but usually their stuff don't get sold out to fast, at least in Slovenia they don't.

Misslyn Eyes, eyes baby eye shadow Flirty Copper

The name of this particular shade is Flirty Copper and it is the most neutral shade from the collection. They have some pretty interesting colors but neutrals always warms up my heart simply because I'm not adventurous with my eye make-up.
This shadow is buttery soft, I know that because when I touched it with my fingers to make a swatch it really felt nice, I kind of want to use it with my fingers and not with a brush  ;)

Misslyn Eyes, eyes baby eye shadow Flirty Copper

I thought it would be fun to swatch it with a brush and then with a finger which always intensify the color, so first swatch is made with a brush and second stronger is applied with a finger. When I apply it on my lid with a brush I still get better color because I put it on top of a sticky base and I use two or three layers to get the color. If you noticed the color looks different in the pan than on the swatch. In the packaging it looks darker and more brown while swatched brings more of its bronzy gold nature. On the skin it looks almost metal or wet simply because it does not contains shimmer but it has a beautiful sateen finish.
I'm super happy with this shade especially because I heard not so great reviews about their shadows in general, I hear people say that they are not pigmented enough and that they don't last. I haven't experienced that at least with this one and since this is the only one I own I really can't judge but next time I will check their stand and if something will look nice I won't hesitate to get it.

It smells like roses...

Hello,

spring is in full force already and what should I talk about today, I asked myself? Something springy would be appropriate. When thinking of spring I smell freshly cut grass, birds chirping and flowers in full bloom, I was thinking about all that while moisturizing my hands with a hand cream that smells like roses.

Melvita beauty hand and nail cream with rose extracts

Here it is beauty hand cream from Melvita with rose extracts. It smells divine, not your typical rose scent but it is very close to Alverde rose oil, the texture is also a bit oily because the cream even if you use very little doesn't absorb fast so you will without any doubt leave greasy fingerprints all over your keyboard or phone. I don't appreciate that at all. It claims to rejuvenate and moisturize your hands and nails, honestly I didn't noticed any difference. My hands after a while still gets dry and cracked but hey, they smell nice ;)
This cream is fairly expensive and for me it just don't do anything, would I repurchase? No, I won't.

Stardust

Hello,

as a person with oily skin I was never a big fan of highlighters but I do like my skin dewy because I think matte finish on me looks ridiculous but to add more shine to my face? It sounds completely against my nature but I discovered that some of my blushes are matte and almost always I added my one highlighter (this was before I got this one) on top to make it glow (if my face is dewy and cheeks are super matte I feel weird, whole face should have the same finish, at least that is my opinion). I don't put it on highest points of my face all over but only on areas where I used blush. That is my way of using it.

Benecos natural highlighting powder Stardust

So I had one highlighter before and when Benecos had their products on sale I felt the need to test their highlighter as well. In the store they had sample and I could swear that the shimmer it contains reflected silver and since the one I had was gold/bronze I wanted to get this one to achieve different effects but as it turned out this one is also on the warm side.

Benecos natural highlighting powder Stardust

So it has their signature embossed flower on the product and in the pan it looks slightly off white with some pink undertone but on the skin if applied with a brush you only get shimmer which is very sparse and makes a very subtle highlight. I'm still new at this illuminating game so I'm okay with light effect but what bothers me that it gives sparkling effect rather illuminating.

Benecos natural highlighting powder Stardust

Here I swatched it on the back of my hand with a finger not a brush and I moisturized my hands prior with a hand cream so the skin was still a bit tacky just to make a strong swatch for the camera to pick it up. I doubt you can build it up like that on your cheeks. Here it does look similar to Terra Naturi highlighter that I love so much but the truth is that this one goes on like a sparse glitter/shimmer and it doesn't look too natural in my opinion. Here it looks like it has yellow/gold base with a sheen but that looks like that only because of a heavy swatch applied with a finger.
This product left me cold, if I would know what I know now I wouldn't buy it but the other day I was playing with it and put a little on my lids and it was nice for a quick look but I have no idea if I will be able to use it up in this life because the pan is bigger than the ones blushes comes in, actually it is the same size as a compact powder which I also wrote detailed review about it here.

Clearing BB cream

Hello,

in my last e-bay package I got two Holika Holika BB creams and while the new Bouncy tube didn't completely convinced me (you can read more in detail review here) I was hoping at least this one will be appropriate for my skin tone.

Holika Holika Petit Clearing BB cream

It is called Holika Holika Petit Clearing BB cream. It is meant for oilier skin so it is less dewy. I was shocked because it looks almost matte on the skin and I have never found Asian BB cream in matte version because over there people prefer dewier skin.

Holika Holika Petit Clearing BB cream

The shade is pretty yellow and don't worry, here on the back of my hand it looks super yellow and really off but trust me on my face it blends in perfectly, even tone is light enough.
The coverage is not superb, I would say it is light but buildable to certain extend. It evens out my skin tone and blures the imperfections but it doesn't cover them. I still go over with higher coverage BB cream to conceal but the tone is perfect enough. I usually layer different ones to get the right shades and opacity so this doesn't bother me.

Holika Holika Petit Clearing BB cream

I love to apply it on top of moisturizer to get the right shade and top it of with higher coverage product to cover what needs to be covered.
I was hoping that this Clearing one will knock my socks off since Bouncy version left me a bit cold and you know what? This BB cream is great and I will definitely repurchase it. If you have yellow undertone and don't need much coverage I would suggest you to get this cheap BB with SPF 30, especially for the summer because of the matte finish. You can't go wrong.
I am wearing it every day since I got it and I'm not planing to stop using it, I will make sure I will buy back up before I finish it up completely.

25. NOTD

Hello,

it has been a long time since I posted a photo of what I'm wearing on my nails, the reason behind is that I'm using the same colors over and over again in order to finish them up. I'm doing this for the first time and my goal is to finish between 12 to 16 bottles this year. So far I cleared out 5 bottles and this fast progress is making me think I can really do it.

LCN nail polish New York Beat

Enough rambling, yesterday I applied this LCN nail polish in the shade New York Beat (I found the name on their web site, on the bottles there are only numbers). It applied like a dream, so smooth and easily also the drying time was impressive. By the time I finished painting nails on my second hand, nails on first hand were almost dry.

LCN nail polish New York Beat

To me this color is really beautiful and since I don't have anything similar in my collection I know I will wear it a lot. Honestly, I'm not a big green fan but this shade is so stunning to me because it is dark and classy and it is not obviously green. The cream finish suits this shade perfectly so probably I won't top it off with glitter top coat.
There is a bit of a drawback, yes they are expensive but I got a good deal for both shades I purchased. I wanted to point out that when I woke up today I already noticed some tip wear which usually don't happen to me at least when I use Essence nail polishes which are dirty cheap compared to this brand. I will try the other shade and I will report back soon if that happens with that one too.

Time for Creamy Beige

Hello,

if you read my previous post about new Maybelline color tattoo pot then you would know how much I love it. I have been using it non stop but I did put it down to test the other more brown shade.

Maybelline color tattoo Creamy Beige

This one is called Creamy Beige and if it looks a bit weird on the photo it is because I had to do a little magic with the Photoshop. You see, I usually check products before I buy them to make sure no one has been opening them and sticking their filthy fingers in them but on this one I didn't check and I got the filthy one. Oh my, the stores have samples use them and not the actual product meant for sale. I can't stress enough how rude it is to open products and test them out. I once witnessed a girl applying lip gloss on her mouth and then put it back like nothing happened, I guess she didn't liked the color (me saying it in full sarcasm tone).

I will try to keep my rant down so I will tell you that I whipped it off and toss quite a lot of product but what else can I do?
After that I started using it and I can't believe I'm saying that but I actually like this shade even more than Creme de Rose.

Maybelline color tattoo Creamy Beige swatch

Here on the first swatch you can see how it looks when smudged and that is also how I wear it and second is not smudged and more intense to show the color. It is warm chocolate shade which brings out my blue eyes. Sometimes I wear it on its own or I put very light layer of neutral shade on top which doesn't really alter the shade but ads a sateen finish which is my favorite plus a layer of mascara and my eye look is done. It is so simple but it looks like I did so much more, well at least I think so ;)

La vie en Rose

Hello,

today I was thinking when was the last time I used the blush which I bought last year... probably last year ;) This obsession with blushes is quite recent and it hasn't slowed down. Slowly I'm discovering which shades and finishes I like. I would say I'm very open and so far I'm distancing myself only from pink blushes, I don't know if they really don't look good on me or is just my perception.

Catrice illuminating blush La vie en Rose

This blush is far away from being pink. It is more of a soft peach with nude undertone. It is one of the Catrice illuminating blushes in the shade La vie en Rose which was released this January if I'm not mistaken.

Catrice illuminating blush La vie en Rose

The pattern is mesmerizing but on mine is almost gone so that is really not good enough reason to get it. I liked the two different colors in the pan to create different effects but honestly I don't bother and just mix them together. On top there is some shimmer/glitter particles but on the skin they were not to obvious. I feel that now they are mostly gone and the effect that it gives to my skin is luminous without the sparkle. Just what I like.

Catrice illuminating blush La vie en Rose swatch

Here you can barely see it on the back of my hand, you can magnify it but I really couldn't capture the color but probably you can see the sheen. I would say that on my cheeks it is more obvious because I'm lighter and probably the brush application on slightly dewy skin helps.
The only flaw I could find is that it does not stay on for the entire day, slowly it starts disappearing and after 8 hour shift I can barely notice it but even that has a good side. If you are a beginner, have a heavy hand or just want to practice this is great for you.
This little flaw won't slow me down, I wish it would have better staying power but it is still alright because at the end I'm still not experienced in applying and sheer wash of color always looks better in my opinion, right?

Perfect grey

Hello,

the more products I try from the natural Benecos brand the more I love it. There is one slip and if you are interested which item didn't really convinced me you can find it here. Today I'm showing you the same product in different color but it seems like it also have different formula.

Benecos natural kajal in Grey

As mentioned this is Benecos natural kajal in Grey. I assume this shade gets overlooked because its more popular black sister always steals the show. I'm personally not a fan of black eye make-up on myself but instead I like to reach over grey shades to define my eyes or I like to say, to put them on the map of my face.

Benecos natural kajal in Grey

Here is a close up to show that this is not your average grey shade, usually they are darker some appear on the lid almost black. I don't like those 'fake' grey shades, if I'm getting grey I want it to be grey but I imagine that this is not for everyone.

Benecos natural kajal in Grey (second swatch)

The first swatch was made with black pencil and second belongs to the Benecos Grey shade I'm talking in details here. It is quite obvious how much lighter it is and that it does not have the same impact but if you like softer looks this is the shade for you. It still gives me some definition but my eye isn't swollen by it.
I find the formula to be outstanding. I have very oily, greasy and a bit saggy lids which means that pencils tend to print on top of my lid quite often. With this particular shade that didn't happen and I'm more than pleased that it thick all the boxes.
For me this shade is close to perfection, the formula works for me and it is a natural product that don't break the bank, what else could I want from it?

First Slovenian cosmetics and make-up fair

Hello,

I just got home from first beauty fair in Slovenia. The event took two days but I attended only today on Sunday and I loved it. I got there at around 11.00 am and stayed till the end, time passed so fast, I guess that happens always when you are having a good time. I listened almost all of the lectures because I found them very informative and they covered different topics.

first Slovenian cosmetics and make-up fair

I missed a little at the beginning of very interesting lecture about hormones and how they affect our body from Sanja Toljan. I wished I would have some notebook with me to make notes.
After her the stage was taken by mystical creatures. Seven different make-up artists created seven different creatures of beauty and they gave prizes to the top three artists. There was a lot of things to see and I only wished that we could saw them up close but otherwise they did an amazing job.
Evgen Gec followed, he talked about doubling incomes in cosmetic saloons. I don't have my own business but I'm interested in the topic since I studied economy. He is not only in marketing and lecturing about business but he is also a make-up artist. One sentence I really remembered from his speech was that there aren't bad products, there are only different ones.

Next lecture about dental care I skipped but the last one was so worth it. On the stage we saw Emeše Bačkai, international make-up artist who talk us through 3D bridal make-up and then showed her magic on two models. She definitely gave me the will to try some new techniques. She has her own Youtube channel and page where you can see some of her work.

LCN hand creams
LCN nail polishes

In between the lectures I had very limited time to see all the stands and check who came to present. I bought little something from LCN, some small hand creams in different scents for my loved ones as gifts and two cool nail polishes.  Here on the photo they look very similar but they are not. First one is dark army green and the other one is grey, they both have cream finish but no names written on the bottles.

Afrodita cosmetics body mousse in cocoa butter
and vitamin E with strawberry scent

I couldn't resist and I indulge in another body moisturiser. This time is Afrodita cosmetics body mousse in cocoa butter and vitamin E with strawberry scent. I have been eyeing this item in the store for some time now and with a bit of the discount that they had on fair I finally got it. I was surprised that the strawberry scant is barely detectable, to me it smells more like caramel. Maybe this will also be given away to special someone.

The last item was the reason why I inspected Afrodita cosmetics stand a bit closer. Last year they released super popular fast tanning jam in the pot which got sold out in pretty much all of the stores. The rummer was that the company was not able to produce enough pots, everyone went crazy and this year they are adding new product to the family. It is supposed to be the same product except in a bottle form. The sales assistant told me that this item is not jet in the stores but it will be available soon. This is dry oil and the lady there was so nice and she let me try it and indeed it dried almost instantly not like the jam in pot that stayed sticky even after an hour after the application. I have a feeling that this product will be even bigger hit.

To sum it up really quick. I'm so happy that something is finally starting to happen in Slovenia in make-up and cosmetic. I can only hope that we will have more gatherings like that or at least that they will make this fair annual.

Creme de Rose

Hello,

I caved in and recently bought more Maybelline color tattoos even though I already own one and I'm not to pleased with it (I know I'm the only one). I'm normally not up for matte finish but the shades that I took were exactly what I was looking for so I decided to put them to a test.

First I tried Creme de Rose which looks at least in the pan very light beige and somewhat close to my skin color. The consistency is very creamy and smooth. It does not apply patchy but I have to blend fast because it dries fast.

So this is how it looks on the back of my hand, it is slightly darker and muted, kind of greyish rose toned nude. It covers all of my little veins and uniforms the color on my lid. I love using it on its own and I only add thick liner and lots of mascara so it kind of looks like pin up make-up, at least on the eye.
Not only the color but also the formula convinced me that this  is a great little pot. My original On and On Bronze shade creases within the first hour without any primer (aren't these supposed to last 24h no matter what?) but this one Creme de Rose stays put for 5-6 hours without any base, if I top it with a light eye shadow it prolongs the wear for a couple of hours but with a base layered first it does not move at all.
So far I am delighted about this color and formula and I only hope that the other pot I bought will perform the same.
