Hello,
last month I didn't post anything under my project polish because I had nothing to show you but I'm still loving the challenge so I wanted to continue with knocking bottles out of my stash ether by using them up or tossing oldies that I never use.
This time there are six 'solders', none of them is completely used up but there are other reasons why I decided to part with them.
First we have Essence Yes, we pop! TE nail polish in the shade Grab this Hype. It started to separate and crack inside the bottle so it is unusable but such a shame because I love this bright and cheerful color. I need to find something similar in the store.
Next is another love but this time from Catrice and it is called Purplelized. This purple with shimmer screams Autumn in my opinion but sadly it is completely dry and therefore unusable. You can see this beauty here. If I could repurchase it I would in a heartbeat.
Next we have another TE from Essence and it is from Hidden Stories collection in the shade Enter Wonderland. I wanted almost white polish and this one was almost perfect because it is not stark white but matte formula makes it so very hard to apply that I probably only used it once and never again. It started to separate so I'm tossing it.
This is my only Models Own bottle and it was part of a swap. It is in the shade Utopia, light lilac but pastels are so hard to apply and this one is not an exception. I also probably only used it once and never again, it is just too much of a hassle for me.
The last two are a complete disappointments from the professional brand LCN. The green one is named New York Beat and the grey is Tokyo Expression. In general nice cream colors but they don't dry, well I only tried them in April in 2016 and then I never touched them again. Two years later I decided that it is time to let them go... into the trash bin.
Thank you for reading and have a nice day

Empties
Hello,
and welcome to the second part of my empties. On most of these items I have been working on for a longer period of time and it just happened that I used them up all at once.
I don't think I used up any hand creams recently so it was nice to see this one go. My hands are getting more dry so I will maybe use one or two more till the end of the year. This baby sized one is from LCN and it is named Nederland. It was also scented, they described it as a fresh ocean scent but it wasn't so obvious. The texture was light enough and fast absorbing if I applied a little at the time. It will be missed but I'm not sure where I can get it (I still haven't checked if LCN hand creams are available in my country). If I can find it I would repurchase it.
Next, there is a see through bottle from Krasna and this is their face cream. It had lovely lavender scent and great packaging, that is bottle with a pump. One pump was enough to cover my face and neck with it. In warmer months it was a little heavy so I used it only at night but now I can use it also in the morning but slightly less than a whole pump. At first it feels a bit oily but it sinks in, I don't know what kind of magic did they use but I haven't seen formula like that before. Beside moisturizing it also manged to calm down my skin and I really appreciate that but I don't know if I would repurchase it. I found great night and day cream for much less. Maybe I would get it next year in Autumn if I will get my hands on some discount coupons.
In the background there is Etude House Royal honey sheet mask. This time I only used one and I liked it. I don't know if I can properly judge it after one use only but my experience was nice. First, it smells like acacia blooming tree (in the back of our family house there is a big acacia tree so this remind me of my youth) which is divine on its own but there is enough liquid left in the packaging, after I took the mask out, that I used it on my face as a serum for the next week. I think you get much more than just one sheet mask in one pack so I'm excited to use the other two that I have left.
On this Avon Skin so soft enhance & glow body lotion I won't loose too many words since I already talked about here. It was tinted and shimmery lotion (not a self tanner) which was supposed to give your skin a nice glow but I am slightly too fair so I had to use it very sparingly. I was using it in the Summer but since I used so little I managed to completely use it up only now in October. I think this is still available but I won't buy it again.
Second to last is little round pot with red cap and it is Avon extra lasting cream eye shadow in Totally Taupe. I posted swatches and everything here. I loved the rather unusual color but mostly I liked that it stayed put without a primer and I have extremely oily lids. For me this is a little hero in a pot but before I used it up it dried and it was beyond repairable. I don't know if Avon still makes these, I know they released five new shades in Summer but they come with a black cap (not under extra lasting line) and they just came out with six metal inspired colors which didn't really caught my eye.
The last item is from Essence and it is their Stay with me line of glosses. They are already discontinued but the formula was superb, great scent and taste, super glossy and they manged to stay on my lip for longer than any other gloss. I have yet to find some similar glosses in their current range. My used up shade was called Pretty Witty and it was very pigmented raspberry shade, it wasn't my favorite because such bold colors are hard to maintain but I used it around the house or if I had some short errands to do. I would definitely buy some everyday shades if this line would still be available.

LCN hand cream
Hello,
first I would like to state that I'm not a football fan and I bought this product because I thought the price was nice for such a well established brand. They are famous for being one of the best in the business so when I came across with their products I had to get some.
LCN Nederland hand cream. They say it is nourishing and regenerating hand cream with a fresh nautical scent. The active ingredients complex of soy oil, bees wax, glycerin and panthenol it contains and improves the skins elasticity and provides moisture.
The texture is creamy slightly on the liquid side but not to ruiny that would leak if carried around. Packaging contains only 50 ml so it is nice to toss it in the bag and use on the go.
The scent is fresh but so faint that after 5 minutes I can't detect it at all.
Recently my hands were lacking some moisture and I put this hand cream to the test. It feels siliconey when applied and it needs about 10 minutes or so to completely absorb and after that the skin is left soft and not tacky at all. I even noticed some improvement on my skin. It manged to keep my hands moisturized even after washing them and forgetting to apply new coat (I wash my hands constantly, it is an obsession I can't quite control).
I really like this hand cream but I'm not so sure when in Slovenia I can get it. I will definitely have to check it next time when I will be in town.
P.S. I bought 4 of them in different scents (Green tea for mom, Coffee for dad and Pomegranate for my sweet sister) and they reported back to me that the creams work great even dad liked it and his hands are dry as the dessert but he complained about the scent. His Coffee infused version had some plasticky yucky scent mixed in but he used it up anyways.

Hello,
today I decided to repaint my nails and I chose one of my new paints which I bought on beauty market. I don't even know where in Slo. you can buy LCN polishes, maybe I'm walking around them every time when I'm at the drug store but higher price makes me look away ;)
This one is named Tokyo Expression and it has a cream finish. In the bottle color looks a bit lighter, when it dries on the nail it turns darker but not in almost black shade.
Here you can see how it looks like on the nails after an hour. Here it still looks nice but I can tell you that it doesn't looks like this anymore, I have a felling that it doesn't dry completely and if you bump you nails into something it will show up. The formula is the same as it was with the green one named New York Beat and I experienced massive tip wear the next day and I'm pretty sure the same will happen with this one.
In general, based on these two pals I'm not impressed by LCN quality and I don't see the point in buying such an expensive bottles to get not so great formula. I would rather spent my money on Avon, Essence or Catrice polishes (did you heard the news that Cosnova will launch another, third brand? The rummer has it that it will be more luxurious one. I can't wait to see more).

Hello,
it has been a long time since I posted a photo of what I'm wearing on my nails, the reason behind is that I'm using the same colors over and over again in order to finish them up. I'm doing this for the first time and my goal is to finish between 12 to 16 bottles this year. So far I cleared out 5 bottles and this fast progress is making me think I can really do it.
Enough rambling, yesterday I applied this LCN nail polish in the shade New York Beat (I found the name on their web site, on the bottles there are only numbers). It applied like a dream, so smooth and easily also the drying time was impressive. By the time I finished painting nails on my second hand, nails on first hand were almost dry.
To me this color is really beautiful and since I don't have anything similar in my collection I know I will wear it a lot. Honestly, I'm not a big green fan but this shade is so stunning to me because it is dark and classy and it is not obviously green. The cream finish suits this shade perfectly so probably I won't top it off with glitter top coat.
There is a bit of a drawback, yes they are expensive but I got a good deal for both shades I purchased. I wanted to point out that when I woke up today I already noticed some tip wear which usually don't happen to me at least when I use Essence nail polishes which are dirty cheap compared to this brand. I will try the other shade and I will report back soon if that happens with that one too.

First Slovenian cosmetics and make-up fair
Hello,
I just got home from first beauty fair in Slovenia. The event took two days but I attended only today on Sunday and I loved it. I got there at around 11.00 am and stayed till the end, time passed so fast, I guess that happens always when you are having a good time. I listened almost all of the lectures because I found them very informative and they covered different topics.
I missed a little at the beginning of very interesting lecture about hormones and how they affect our body from Sanja Toljan. I wished I would have some notebook with me to make notes.
After her the stage was taken by mystical creatures. Seven different make-up artists created seven different creatures of beauty and they gave prizes to the top three artists. There was a lot of things to see and I only wished that we could saw them up close but otherwise they did an amazing job.
Evgen Gec followed, he talked about doubling incomes in cosmetic saloons. I don't have my own business but I'm interested in the topic since I studied economy. He is not only in marketing and lecturing about business but he is also a make-up artist. One sentence I really remembered from his speech was that there aren't bad products, there are only different ones.
Next lecture about dental care I skipped but the last one was so worth it. On the stage we saw Emeše Bačkai, international make-up artist who talk us through 3D bridal make-up and then showed her magic on two models. She definitely gave me the will to try some new techniques. She has her own Youtube channel and page where you can see some of her work.
In between the lectures I had very limited time to see all the stands and check who came to present. I bought little something from LCN, some small hand creams in different scents for my loved ones as gifts and two cool nail polishes. Here on the photo they look very similar but they are not. First one is dark army green and the other one is grey, they both have cream finish but no names written on the bottles.
I couldn't resist and I indulge in another body moisturiser. This time is Afrodita cosmetics body mousse in cocoa butter and vitamin E with strawberry scent. I have been eyeing this item in the store for some time now and with a bit of the discount that they had on fair I finally got it. I was surprised that the strawberry scant is barely detectable, to me it smells more like caramel. Maybe this will also be given away to special someone.

The last item was the reason why I inspected Afrodita cosmetics stand a bit closer. Last year they released super popular fast tanning jam in the pot which got sold out in pretty much all of the stores. The rummer was that the company was not able to produce enough pots, everyone went crazy and this year they are adding new product to the family. It is supposed to be the same product except in a bottle form. The sales assistant told me that this item is not jet in the stores but it will be available soon. This is dry oil and the lady there was so nice and she let me try it and indeed it dried almost instantly not like the jam in pot that stayed sticky even after an hour after the application. I have a feeling that this product will be even bigger hit.

To sum it up really quick. I'm so happy that something is finally starting to happen in Slovenia in make-up and cosmetic. I can only hope that we will have more gatherings like that or at least that they will make this fair annual.
Thank you for reading and have a nice day
