Empties

 Hello,

this is the second part of my April empties, they are all of my face products and I really liked all of them.

Beautiful light blue bottle is eggo smartskincare Aquaholic hydrate+plump infused with aloe vera and hyaluronic acid. This has very nice packaging. Top twists and the pump comes out, product is very watery and very little was needed to spread all over my face and neck. It was nice and enjoyable (especially the packaging is awesome) but I am not sure I will get it again, there are other hydrating serums for less. I also have the pink serum and moisturiser to try out, so I am not quite done with this cool brand.

Tilted tube is Missha b.b. boomer primer. It had a lovely pink pearl finish and I would use it under my bb cream or foundation and where I applied thin coverage this would peak through. This is my second used up tube already, first was 20 ml and this one is 40 ml and has a pump which sucked all of it out and now the tube looks super thin and even tilted. I really liked it and I am itching to get a new one but since I have so many other ones I think I should use what I have up and then get it again.

Black tube is Pyunkang Yul Black Tea Time Reverse eye cream which is full of butters, oils and hyaluronic acid should hydrate my skin. Texture was light but left white cast until fully absorbed around 5 min later. I was okay with that since I only used it at night time. It was nice to use but I did not notice any big improvement.

Under is another Pyunkang Yul product, this one is Black Tea Time Reverse eye patches (60 pcs). This is the first time I had box full of patches and I tried to use them regularly on weekends. They felt very cold on my face and immediately when I would take them off I noticed my skin to be smoother in the outer corners but wrinkles would quickly come back (I don't have significant swelling). I took it as a mini spa experience but I probably will not be buying them again.

In the brown glass bottle is Eveline expert C serum. It actually does have a slight citrus scent and sheer brown shade. I had it before and I really like it. I think it is effective and cost for it is low. I think at the moment I don't have it but I have some other brightening serums that I have to go through first before they go bad and then I will get it again.

Bright yellow tube is Dr. Paw Paw multipurpose soothing balm. It is thick and greasy, I actually liked it on my lips at night time. It had no scent and felt like vaseline. Before I had their shimmery version which had large chunks and sparkles got everywhere. This one melts on the lips and stays for a long time. I would actually repurchase this one but I still have so many balms that I need to go through so maybe next year.

Here is a better view of the two Pyunkang Yul items. They are both pitch black with silver/holographic lines of wild nature with deer. So very beautiful but what is important is what was inside and since I didn't notice any big changes I will not be buying them again. I think I will keep a pot to store some of my jewellery or something, it is just too beautiful to throw away.

Empties

 Hello,

this time around there are just body products and all of them were nice items, some better than others but in general I enjoyed using all of them.

First is a big bottle of traclemoon body wash in the Honeycomb scent. To me it smelled more like caramel, it did smell nice but Honey is what I was looking for. I love Honey, Caramel slightly less so I won't repurchase it but it was a nice product. I might try some other scents that they have but not this one again.

Next to it is The Body Shop Satsuma body oil, I used it for massaging and nourishing my skin, it smelled very nice and I loved that the product wasn't too greasy. I would get it again but I think this scent isn't available again... I have to check.

Smaller bottle is old Evelin 8 in 1 multiregenerating post-depilation oil (there are 7 different oils included and vitamin E, majority of them have calming and soothing properties). I actually liked the concept, it didn't burn me but I also used it slightly different way than expected. I liked to apply it on still wet skin and it worked really well for me but I also think that this particular mix is nothing too special and any other oil would work as well so probably I won't get it again except I find it on sale.

Next are two Avon care coconut hand creams. These are some of my favourites, formula and scent wise. They are fast absorbing and nourishing even in cold weather so I will definitely be buying them again, mine are just in a limited summer packaging.

The very last item is Afrodita's Blueberry hand cream which I purchased while at work. I noticed that I forgot my hand cream and my skin got parched, I just couldn't wait to get home so I purchased something. It was a nice nourishing cream with no particular scent. Nice but not exceptional, I prefer the creams mentioned previously.

Empties

 Hello,

as promised this time I have way more finished items than in my previous post. I was working overtime on some of them to be able to finish them up.

This is already my second and maybe also my last tube of Cosrx Salicyilc acid daily gentle cleanser. I love using it at night after already cleansing my face as a treatment. It is a cream product and it gets creamy and slightly foamy while mixed with water. I just gently massage it onto my face and afterwards my skin feels and looks softer with less texture. I would buy it again if I would find it but I bought from the same brand another one with the same active ingredient and I will see if it is just as good.

Next is this Balea Almon and Cherry Blossom body wash. It smells divine and my first thought was to get a backup immediately but the texture didn't convinced me. It is watery and it doesn't foam... it feels weird and I get a feeling like I'm not properly cleaning my body. I do have another scent which I'm using at the moment and after the second tube is gone I will no longer buy this body wash no matter how good it smells.

In the white tube is Ziaja hand cream with silk proteins and provitamin B5. It is a lightweight cream which absorbs quickly and makes my hands soft but I have noticed that after I wash my hands (even after hours) it just comes off and my hands aren't any better... it looks like it works while it is on but after washing my hands the benefits are washed away. It seems like it doesn't penetrate my skin and work its magic. I did finish it up but I will not buy it again.

Next is basic Jojoba oil by Pflanzen Kosmetik. I primarily used it as my make-up remover. It melts my products nicely and afterwards a gentle cleanser is able to remove it all. In my opinion very simple jet effective product and I have already repurchased it.

This is super old limited edition Carice Bronze away to... hydrating fixing spray. At first I was scared that there will be some shimmer or glitter particles but it doesn't contain any. I really liked this one and I'm eager to see if they will have another LE one this year and in the mean time I just got their 'regular' fixing spray.

Another repurchased item is this Eveline cosmetics Expert C serum with 12% active vitamin C. I love Vitamin C on my skin and how well it combats my hyperpigmentation left after acne. This one is on the inexpensive side of the range and it works so I already have a new bottle of it.

Under is Nuxe Honey balm which was my lip balm of choice for night time and it was really nice. Not quite fantastic so I am using something else at the moment but it is quite possible that I will get it again. I love the honey scent and how greasy it is but at the same time sometimes I thought it was just too greasy, but none the less it was nourishing enough for me to get me through some dry patches in my life.

The last one is my beloved L'occitane hand cream in the Neroli and Orchide Intense version. I'm still not the biggest fan of their formula (they do have different ones, gel has to be my favourite) -this one being a lightweight cream but the scent is what I was sold on. It is a gorgeous sunny and warm neroli and since I love it so much my sister already got me another one as a gift :)

Empties

 Hello,

at the moment I'm working on so many products and on a lot of them I'm nearly done... so I guess the next empties will be overflowing.

First is Avon's naturals body lotion with Black Cherry and Nutmeg. I remember using this years ago but time and time again they discontinue it and it is hard to find. I love the scent on this which reminds me of a Cherry yoghurt, the formula isn't the most moisturising out there but for me the scent makes it worth it. I think this isn't available at the moment but if it get back in stock I would get it for the scent alone.

The other body moisturiser is Ahava Deadsea water mineral body lotion (bought as a tester bottle and I was able to get it for less even though it was brand new and unopened). The scent is comforting, that is the best description, nothing too special but still very nice and especially good for night time relaxation. The formula is light enough for the pump to work, it absorbs into my skin and it was perfect with the previous lotion since I find this one way more moisturising and also the scents complimented each other. I would get this one again but only if I find it at a good price since this one tends to be a bit more expensive.

Next to it is my Eveline Hyaluron clinic essence hydrator. Big packaging (110ml) ensured that this bottle lasted me months and also made me use it regularly since it seemed like it would never be finished. The consistency was very watery but the essence often got thick at the top of the opening (the lid does not open but a pressure on the side of the lid open it at an angle and reveals a small opening the side). I liked to use it in the evening under my heavier moisturisers to lock in the moisture. I remember I didn't pay much for it and considering how much product I received this gets two thumbs up from me.

The very last item is a body scrub from Avon. It is their Encanto inspiring body scrub in the creamy violet scent. The scent was okay but as soon I started to rub it against my skin it started to smell artificial. Towards the end I was only using it to finish it up. For my liking this had too small beads and didn't do enough and I was also not a fan of the scent (I much prefer the Afrodita body scrub that I finished up earlier).

Empties

 Hello,

mid month is a cleaning day for me, when I gather all the empty items and pour my thoughts about them here, on my blog.

Batiste makes excellent dry shampoos and this Rose Gold version is very nice. It is not my favorite, scent vise but I liked it. It has typical formula but the scent is what sets it apart. It was very powdery and floral a little too much for me but still nice, none the less. My favorite is still the Blush one (Peony scent).

Body wash is from Avon senses range and it is their White Peach and Vanilla Orchid scent. Lovely,  warm and cozy Peach scent was great and I would get it again but the packaging was nerve wrecking. The lid was super hard to open and therefore I just let it open, probably some of the product evaporated but better than losing a nail. The formula on this one was very pudding like, fun to use as well so I'm excited to see the change in the packaging, I hope it will be for the better.

Next is my favorite shampoo and it is from Iliria and it is their Linden option. It is very inexpensive, smells a bit like the real Linden and cleanses my hair really well without stripping them completely. My hair are always silky soft and full of movement, it doesn't give any volume but I prefer the feeling of no product in my hair anyway. I'm already using new and larger bottle.

Second to last is The Body Shop Winter limited edition Love & Plums body butter. I remember having Plum body butter from them years ago and when I saw this 'new' one I just had to have it. I think it was very similar and I enjoy it very much but my love for thick body butters is slowly dying down, now I prefer lighter textures, more lotion like but this juicy jet comforting scent was very nice.

The very last item is Eveline expert C vitamin serum - injections. The pipette helps you with precision and the dark bottle help to protect the precious product. The scent is very citrusy and the texture is slightly sticky but it does absorb fast. My skin really benefits from it since my acne spots (red dots) heal and disappear faster while using this serum consistently. I already have a new bottle, it is from a different brand but I will definitely be buying more.

Empties

Hello,

this time around I have some Summer inspired products. I decided not to wait till much coveted Summer or vacation simply because I don't know if I will even go on a 'proper' vacation by the beach this year... everything seems so vague and distant, but to stop myself drowning in sad thoughts I decided to create vacation destination right in my bathroom... ;)

Nivea creme pearls body wash with Cherry Blossom is a travel sized one that I received a couple of years ago in an advent calendar with a bunch of minis. I never took it on my travels and this year, God knows... in the mean time I used this in my shower and it gave me the feeling like I'm on a vacation already ;) However, this scent was very, very pleasant but I don't know how to describe it. A bit musky and rich, creamy and it reminds me of an expensive shower gels from fancy hotels. I don't know if that makes any sense but I can say I would buy it again in a full size but I can't find it online  :(

I finished another body wash and this was another lovely one and it is from Balea and it is their limited edition Relaxing Bali body wash. Very nice scent, fruity but not too sweet. Nothing plastick-y or icky but very nice and I would also repurchase it in a heartbeat if I could.

It took me a really long time to finish up this next products because of its size (400ml) and it is Eveline hyaluronic micellar water. I have zero complaints about it. In the evening if I had a feeling like my skin isn't completely clean after two step cleanse I would soak my cotton pad with it and wipe my skin clean. It worked but at the moment I have something else. When I will be looking for a new one I will definitely check this one out.

Neutrogena visibly clear oil free face moisturizer is a constant in my routine. I use it religiously every morning because it is hydrating and sinks right in so it doesn't add any unnecessary grease to my skin and also it doesn't break me out. I'm already using a new tube of it.

Garnier skinactive 3 in 1 (scrub, face wash and face mask) is the very last tube. I also had this one for a really long time but this kind of products for me always take a long time. It claims to be 3 in 1 but honesty I don't use it as a scrub because it is not effective enough plus I started to use more of a chemical or enzyme scrubs opposed to mechanical. Sometimes I put thin layer all over my face and let it dry while I brush my teeth, if I had more time or my skin was acting up I would cover it up in a thick layer and let it dry completely or I would opt for a quick wash with this clay based product. I really like it and got used to it so I always have something clay based that can be used in multiple different ways at all times. At the moment I'm using a different one from Neutrogena and I like it a lot. I'm not particularly loyal or picky, so when I'm in need I usually buy the cheapest ;)

Empties

Hello,

I have been focusing on a couple of products and so in this post I have a wide variety of empties. Some of them are my favorites and already repurchased, others not so good are already trashed and out of my life.

Avon Planet SPA Greek Seas with Algae extract smoothing moisture lock eye gel was something I wanted to try for the Summer but it took me much longer to actually use it up. It was a proper gel with some pink/purple pearl shimmer which wasn't obvious on the skin. It absorbed fast but I didn't noticed any special moisturizing properties so I won't repurchase it again.

This bottle of Eveline expert C, 12% active vitamin C serum is already my second one. I bought both at the same time and while I loved the first one I think this one went bad. There was no intense citrus scent as there was with the first one and I'm pretty sure this one caused acne, so I just pour it out. I know vitamin C is very unstable but I expected that the dark bottle placed in a dark drawl would protect the product inside. I have some other serums that needs to be used up but after that I will buy this serum from Eveline again but only one at the time.

Avon Advance Technique duo treatment spray for luxuriously nourished hair is another repurchased product. There are two oils and you are supposed to shake them to mix and it smells so very good. I haven't noticed that my hair would look better so I used it only because of the scent and I will buy it again in the near future.

Garnier skin active honey face wash smelled amazing. Very honey like and that is definitely my jam. It did wash my make-up off and didn't strip my skin. It was really nice but I don't think I will buy it again. Himalaya's neem foaming was or Alkmene's tea tree wash simply do more when it comes to my acne.

Second to last blue bottle is Melvita's Lavender floral face water. I think this is my third bottle of it and if it didn't work it wouldn't be a constant in my make-up routine. I like to spray my face with it after I'm done with my cream and before my powder products especially in the cooler months. I will probably try lavender toner from some other, cheaper brand to see if it works just as good otherwise I'm buying it again.

Batiste Tropical dry shampoo was a disappointment. I like their peony scented version but I wanted to try some other scents as well and this one was icky. To me it smelled like plastic bag which they tried to cover it up with a generic overly sweet coconut scent. I apologize to everyone who love it but we are all different, with different tastes. Peony version is already repurchased and I also took the cherry one to try out and I hope it will be better then this one.

Melvita Extraordinary oil was just a 17 ml sample (this is the second sample bottle that I went through plus I used up the full, 100 ml version in the past). This oil has intoxicating scent, it is so very good and addictive but I don't think it did much for my skin or hair. I used it and my skin didn't look any better, if anything it was a bit dry like this oil wasn't moisturizing enough for me. It is on the more expensive side so when the results aren't there I don't think I can justify buying a new bottle.

Catrice Pure Shine Colour balm in Go, Flamingo Go! was a repurchased shade and I used up another red one. These balms were amazing. Very moisturizing, tinted and glossy, everything I seek in a lip product and I would get it again in a heartbeat if I could.

Avon Mark Plump it clear gloss is nothing new for me. Through the years they changed the names, packaging, shades but the formula still seems the same. This is my third tube of it and I love it. Clear isn't really my first pick but the tingling, minty and cooling formula is phenomenal if you like that sort of thing. I'm glad that I used it up before the really cold weather because I only use it when it is hot outside but next year I'm getting some more. I'm eyeing the nude shade.

Alverde Rose face oil has been repurchased numerous times. My irritated skin responds so well to it. After a couple of days of using it (I apply it at night time) my skin looks more even and is more moisturized. I like the handy pipette packaging but 15 ml of product goes quick. At the moment I don't have it since I'm working on another oil but when that one is gone I'm repurchasing it aging.

A'pieu NonCo tea tree face oil is another little gem (14 ml) for my skin. When my skin is suffering form acne or when I just start to feel them under the surface I start using it (also at night), those little suckers don't stand a chance. Also at the moment that was the only bottle of tea tree oil in my possession but I'm testing a sample from The Body Shop and I will see if it is just as good.

The Body Shop shade adjusting lightening drops is another 'I can't live without' product. I love my foundation but the lightest shade is not light enough so I just can't see myself not using it.Even one week of vacation couldn't turn my skin darker enough to make it without the drops so this is a must and a new bottle is already in good use.

Empties

Hello,

maybe a little late but nonetheless some empty packaging galore is in front of you.

Let's start with Balea Aqua serum which is very praised. I liked the pump system and light consistency which absorbed quickly but I don't think it was anything special. Maybe I should try it in the Winter time when my skin is dryer and use it under my regular face cream so maybe I will repurchase it again.

Next is Dove DermaSpa uplifted satin smooth body oil for improved elasticity and firmness. The scent is amazing, definitely my cup of tea. Fresh and comforting at the same time. I have been using it in combination with other body lotions but at the end I used it on its own. I noticed that it wasn't moisturizing enough so probably I won't spent my money on it again but I will miss the scent.

This big flat Ladybug bottle is Sephora's Cosy Cotton bubble bath and shower gel. I only used it to wash my body with it because I don't have a bath. The scent is another one of my favorites. The cotton flower is a nice and accurate description and so very nice. The texture was nothing special, typical body wash consistency and since we don't have Sephora here I won't get it again.

A while ago I bought two of the Eveline expert C vitamin serum - injections (it was a better deal if you purchased two and I'm a sucker like that). One bottle holds up 18 ml of product and you use the pipette to get the slightly sticky but still watery serum out of it (there is no injections involved). It smells amazing, just like real citruses and I loved putting it on in the evening. I always followed with some cream or oil and I think my hyperpigmentation faded away faster. Now I'm happy that I have another bottle which I'm sure I will use up soon.

Lush Plum Rain body wash was an impulse buy. I went there to buy some specific products but there are always some sale assistants trying to help you out and encourage you to spent more money than you anticipated. This bottle is the result of me caving in. The scent is very fresh and true to the ripe plums, I honestly love it but I know I spent more money on a body wash than normally. If they would have some massage bars in this scent I would totally get some.

Avon lavender cuticle oil is super duper old and so the writing on the bottle is also gone. It is regular oil which you place on your nails and cuticles and massage it in. I liked the lavender scent but the other day I noticed that the scent changed so I'm guessing that it went bad so I'm tossing it even though I haven't finished it up. I have the Essence Hydra nail care serum which serves me well.

Avon Foot works papaya cooling lotion has nothing cooling in it but the texture is gel like so maybe that is what they meant. I had a scrub in the same scent and I loved it, true papaya but I think I had this one a little too long. The texture become a little thicker and the scent is plasticky now. I have used it maybe three times but I will throw it into the garbage bin and try not to stock up again.

This is one of my favorite lipsticks ever and it is Avon Shine Burst Rose lipstick. For swatches check my old post here. I love glossy lipsticks which feel nourishing and glide on with ease. Anyhow I kept this baby for too long and it went bad, now it has a yuck taste but when it was new it had zero scent/taste. Now I can see that they discontinue them and I was seriously thinking of stocking up but at the end I decided not to. I have almost 30 full sized lipsticks and by the time I will use all of them up some will already go bad, it is a vicious circle and the only way to end it is to completely stop buying stuff and just use up what I have. It will be hard but maybe I can at least minimize my purchases...

The little pot is Essence Let's get it started LE lip balm which I won in a giveaway. It was clear and had a very sweet candy scent. At first I liked it but then the scent got a little too much. I still tried to use it as often as possible to finish it up. It wasn't bad I would say it was like any other regular balm. It was on the greasy side and it kept my lips soft and nourished. I know that they have a similar product in their current range but I won't be picking it up.

The very last item is Essence ultra last Rosewood High lip liner. I still don't know why I had to spent my money on it. Probably the popularity of liners lured me in but I'm just not a lip liner kind of gal. This color is a dusty pink which I don't think looks god on me anyways. The liner slides easily and leaves a lot of color behind which really grips and it is hard to remove. I personally don't like this murky color on myself so I would always tried to put a softer pink lipstick on top but the liner underneath seemed to suck any moisture out of it. I guess that makes it last longer but the feeling to me is unpleasant so I don't think I ever wore out in public.

Huh, 10 products this time. That is a lot and there is even more to come so stay tuned.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day
