31 October 2024

 Hello,

my vacation came and went. It happened so fast and I am still recovering from it :) even though it ended in September, the memories are still alive.

I used two Avon care glycerine hand and nail creams, Jasmine with vitamin E and glycerine. I had one at home and one at work. These are some of my favorites. Lightweight but with real results. I probably already have some backups :)

Next is my purse hand cream from Frudia and this time I went through the Cherry hand cream version. Lovely scent and the lightweight texture (white cap has light weight cream and dark brown lid usually contains heavier cream inside). This one was one of my favorites and I would get it again, the formula is absolutely lovely, the price is low and the packaging is small enough to fit into my purse.

Next in line is Garnier ambre solare sensitive expert SPF 50+ face cream. I tried it on my face but it was too heavy for me, too greasy and I had a light white cast so that is a point down for me. I recently tried two different asian face creams with high SPF and I prefer those two over this Garnier one. I used it on my body until I completely empty this tube.

The Body Shop Refresing Passionfruit joghurt for normal to dry skin with cooling effect was amazing scent wise. So juicy and fruity :) the texture was very light, almost gel like but moisturising properties were very low. That is my only complaint, body moisturiser wasn't moisturising enough but the scent was phenomenal.

Next to it is Shiseido x Roxy after sun intensive recovery emulsion. I also have a full size but for this years vacation I decided to go with the mini. It is very liquid and slightly too sharp in scent. I haven't had any burns (thank god) but light texture didn't feel anything special. Next year I will use up the big size but honestly I don't think this item is anything special for me.

Last item in line is very similar to the previous. It is Biotherm anti - drying body milk with citrus essences. Slightly less watery but with a more pronounced citrus scent. This one also wasn't my favorite and thankfully I don't have any backups. I received it as a free gift while buying products from the brand and there are some nice face creams (I have a stash) but this one just didn't wow me.

Super old Essence plumping nudes in the shade XXL charm. With this one I had a love and hate relationship. Some months I loved the frosty finish and slightly lighter shade on my lips and afterwards came times I really disliked it. All in all I am in love faze and I would get it again if it would be available, now I am on a hunt for something similar.

I have these old lipsticks from Avon limited edition in Sumptuous Nectar and Rose Enchantment. Bright coral was my favorite and I will miss it while the pink one wasn't that special in terms of shade. They were light but buildable and shiny - exactly how I like my lipsticks. The Nectar one will be missed.

Next in line is Maybelline Desert Bloom lipstick. It is also super old and I don't know if they stil sell them... I liked the neutral shade and the sheen but for my taste it could be a little less pigmented. I doubt I will get it again but only because I prefer light pigmentation on my lips.

Under hot pink lid is Make up Revolution London Juicy Pout lip gloss with Cherry, Raspberry and Jojoba oil in the Watermelon option. It was clear with tiny sparkles. I am not a big fan of glittery lips but this was so little, just enough to add some shine and I ended up loving it. It lasted decent amount of time (it could be better) but since I don't have big success with products from this brand I have to say this gloss was probably my favorite item from them that I have tried.

The very last item is Clarins lip perfector in the 01 shade. It is lovely light pink, almost clear. It has a sweet caramel like scent but unfurtunately it doesn't last long on my lips. It is very popular but to me is mere average.  Probably I won't be buying it again unless I will find it super cheap. Then I might reconsider it.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day

Empties

 Hello,

we are already at the end of this short month and just when we thought that the Winter is over it showed us some more teeth.

In front there is Avon color trend lip gloss in Berry Drizzle. I remember getting this shade is a bundle because I could't choose any other. It was a purple with a blue shift, not very noticeable but if looked close you could see it. The scent is fruity (not sure of which fruit) and it also tastes like it, so that is big thumps up for me, the shade was not my favourite but if I applied it lightly it mostly looked like a clear gloss. I would get it again but in a different shade.

Next to it is another Alverde bottle of Rose oil. I love getting them because the pipette works and I don't make a mess with this packaging (think big opening and every time you have to pour it out...). My skin is often a bit pink/red looking and constantly using Rose oil helps reduce the redness. I'm already using a new bottle of it.

In the back there is this big bottle of Garnier Pure Active micellar cleansing water for combination to oily and sensitive skin. I really liked this one. My skin liked it, it didn't break out from using it and it removed any traces of make-up. I would get it again but I already have two other bottles that need to be finished up before getting new one.

Next are my favourite bottles of Catrice HD liquid coverage foundations. First one is in the shade Porcelain Beige (lighter and yellow toned) and next one is in Light Beige (compared with the first one slightly darker and neutral in tone - which also suits me better but I use the Porcelain Beige to mix it in because I purchased it by mistake and I have to use it up somehow). It is just a coincidence to have them both run out. My shade, Light Beige will forever be on my shelf but the Porcelain Beige feels unnecessary but since I have another full bottle of it I have to use it up and then hopefully I won't make another mistake and will buy the right shade.

From The Body Shop I have two body moisturisers from last year and they are both in the same scent. It was their Holiday themed Spiced Orange (Orange, Vanilla and Cinnamon scent). Top one is body yogurt and the bottom is their body butter. This had a very strong predominately spicy scent with some fresh Orange. Very nice and comforting but I had enough of it and I'm ready to move on to something fresher and lighter. If they will have it again at the end of the year I might get it again, I loved both formulas even though their yogurts aren't the most moisturising in the Winter time for my skin.

Empties

 Hello,

this is jet another empties post in a row. For now this is all I could do but I'm planning on some more posts in the future, more interesting than my trash ;)

Garnier body lotion, oil beauty with Argan, Macadamia, Almond and Rose oil. This has a lovely light texture which absorbs very fast and leaves my skin silky smooth. I bought this after my sister recommendation and she was wright. This smells divine (creamy and super comforting), is moisturizing and doesn't leave my skin sticky. This is a love and I will repurchase it again.

Next is another one of my sister's favorites and it is from beloved brand Rituals. Mine is from the: The Rituals of Sakura collection which smells like organic rice milk and cherry blossom and it is caring shower oil. I felt weird showering with it so I made my own little ritual of using it. I would shower and before patting my body dry I would apply it all over, massage a bit and then just quickly rinse it off. That way I made sure my body was clean and because I lightly rinse it off the scent stayed on my skin for longer. This seriously smells amazing. I will try and buy the lotion, if I will find some nice sales.

Nivea 1 minute urban detox mask is something I loved a couple of years ago but my love for it slowly died. I still like it but now I prefer the blue one from this line. This has little granules which do some of the scrubbing and now I prefer to use enzyme opposed to mechanical scrubs. I would massage it onto my face while in the shower and rinse it of. The base of the mask feels a bit thick so it is easy to put it on all over my face and it stays there for as long as I want (it doesn't slip), it almost feels like a clay mask and that helps with that clean feel that I used to really love but now I feel like it is maybe a bit too much. I noticed I got more gentle with my skin lately and I think it suits me more, so this mask won't be repurchased.

Next is Ren clearcalm 3 replenishing gel cream for blemish prone skin. This one does come with a big plastic lid which I threw away some time ago (I hate lids that are detachable and I will most likely throw them away as soon as possible unless there is a big opening and the product gets exposed to the air, so all of my pots still do have lid but most spray bottles don't). With this product the lid is important and I wish I wouldn't throw it away because sometimes the product that is at the top of the nozzle would get a bit dry and would block the product to get out. If you ever buy this product or something from Ren that has this type of a bottle, keep the lid. So, I still used it and I have to say I didn't notice anything special  about it (maybe the magical ingredient evaporated because of my stupid mistake). This product applies nicely only on dry skin (forget toners and serums underneath, this cream needs some slip) and I had to apply little by little otherwise it just didn't sink in. When it did, my skin just drink it up and was left thirsty. I always had to put something more moisturizing on top because this wasn't enough and did I notice my blemishes disappearing faster? Nope, my skin didn't particularly love it and I'm super happy that it is gone and now I can move to something different.

The very last item is Essence Bloom, Baby Bloom! lip gloss in the shade Hibis-kiss. It was a limited edition gloss which looked more like lip oil in my opinion. The shade was clear, very fruity sweet (I loved the scent) and it looked extra glossy just like lip oil. Sadly it also disappeared super fast, 15/20 minutes and it was gone. I started to use it at home and it went very quickly. I think it took me a month and it was gone. Also I would like to mention that the bottle started to leak. No matter how many times did I wipe it, the product as always coming trough and because the consistency is more like an oil it was running very fast and was leaving greasy marks all over. I'm super happy that it is gone and even though I liked the scent and it was moisturizing enough to be used on its own I would not repurchase it (not that it is still available).

Empties

Hello,

this time around I have some Summer inspired products. I decided not to wait till much coveted Summer or vacation simply because I don't know if I will even go on a 'proper' vacation by the beach this year... everything seems so vague and distant, but to stop myself drowning in sad thoughts I decided to create vacation destination right in my bathroom... ;)

Nivea creme pearls body wash with Cherry Blossom is a travel sized one that I received a couple of years ago in an advent calendar with a bunch of minis. I never took it on my travels and this year, God knows... in the mean time I used this in my shower and it gave me the feeling like I'm on a vacation already ;) However, this scent was very, very pleasant but I don't know how to describe it. A bit musky and rich, creamy and it reminds me of an expensive shower gels from fancy hotels. I don't know if that makes any sense but I can say I would buy it again in a full size but I can't find it online  :(

I finished another body wash and this was another lovely one and it is from Balea and it is their limited edition Relaxing Bali body wash. Very nice scent, fruity but not too sweet. Nothing plastick-y or icky but very nice and I would also repurchase it in a heartbeat if I could.

It took me a really long time to finish up this next products because of its size (400ml) and it is Eveline hyaluronic micellar water. I have zero complaints about it. In the evening if I had a feeling like my skin isn't completely clean after two step cleanse I would soak my cotton pad with it and wipe my skin clean. It worked but at the moment I have something else. When I will be looking for a new one I will definitely check this one out.

Neutrogena visibly clear oil free face moisturizer is a constant in my routine. I use it religiously every morning because it is hydrating and sinks right in so it doesn't add any unnecessary grease to my skin and also it doesn't break me out. I'm already using a new tube of it.

Garnier skinactive 3 in 1 (scrub, face wash and face mask) is the very last tube. I also had this one for a really long time but this kind of products for me always take a long time. It claims to be 3 in 1 but honesty I don't use it as a scrub because it is not effective enough plus I started to use more of a chemical or enzyme scrubs opposed to mechanical. Sometimes I put thin layer all over my face and let it dry while I brush my teeth, if I had more time or my skin was acting up I would cover it up in a thick layer and let it dry completely or I would opt for a quick wash with this clay based product. I really like it and got used to it so I always have something clay based that can be used in multiple different ways at all times. At the moment I'm using a different one from Neutrogena and I like it a lot. I'm not particularly loyal or picky, so when I'm in need I usually buy the cheapest ;)

Empties

Hello,

I have a lot of empty bottles and some products that didn't work for me and will be passed along to people who might enjoy them. I currently don't need to buy anything, I will just replace all of these products with what I already have except for one product which was on sale because they are discontinuing it and I grabbed some back ups.

Yves Rocher Raspberry and Pepermint body lotion got me with its unique scent. I discovered that I love Raspberry and Mint and in this lotion they combined them and combo is really nice. The bad thing is that it can smell a bit plastic-y every once in a while. The pump was very convenient and the lotion absorbed rather fast. It was nice, moisturizing but nothing I would repurchase it again.

Next I have matching body spray and body lotion from Avon naturals Blackberry and Vanilla collection. The scent is creamy and a bit fruity but the fruitiness does not overtake the scent. It was one of my favorite scents from naturals but these lotions are notorious for not being moisturizing enough for me. Body spray also didn't do anything for me, the long lasting power in body sprays really isn't something to brag about. I most probably won't repurchase them again (I have another body spray left in a different scent and when that one is gone I'm done with them).

I bought this Garnier Argan face mist when it was still relatively new in the store and argan is know for being moisturizing... Very early on (after using it twice in a row) I started to notice massive breakouts so I stopped using it and let my skin heal. Trying it for the second time just to make sure this is really the products that doesn't work for me, put things into perspective for me. Yes, this toner didn't agree with my skin and at first I wanted to use it all over my body just to finish it up but I have way too many products and I decided to rather give it away and maybe it will work for someone else.

The two little cute bottles are The Body Shop energising Mandarin and mattifying Mint face mists which also didn't work for me, just like the toner I previously described, these cuties also break my skin out so I will be passing them along. The Mandarin one is very zesty and indeed refreshing, the green Mint smells more like a toothpaste and you have to shake it well before use because there is white powder (clay?) on the bottom to help with mattifying claim.

The first bottle is a bit hard to see but it is Sante clear nail polish which I used as a top coat. It gave my nails the shine and make them last longer. It was fine and I'm not really thinking repurchasing it again (this bottle was a gift, I didn't buy it myself) because I have another top coat from Catrice to go through.

Next is one of my favorite lipstick formulas that has sadly been discontinued and it is Catrice ultimate shine gel color in the Don't fear the sheer!. The moisturizing formula, glossy feel and even the bright coral shade suited me a lot in my opinion. I really wish they would bring them back but right now I have some others in the testing process and maybe Catrice did remake them and put them in a different packaging... This is my very last one after a handful of them that I bought when they were discontinuing them. I haven't completely finished it up because it went bad but like I said, I have a lot of lipsticks and some are really good.

The very last item is my favorite night time eye cream and it is Avon anew hydro-advance eye cream. It is a bit thicker so I only use it at night, in the morning I don't have the time to wait for it to absorb and using it on a longer period of time I did noticed that my lines were less pronounces and my skin looked well taken care of and moisturized. Last week I noticed that they quietly discontinued it but I was able to find it on the sale pages and I ordered three more... it is safe to say that I'm good for this year when it comes to eye cream and then I will have to slowly start to look for a new one.

Empties

Hello,

time flies by and it is empties time again. I have some items that I was working on on my recent vacation and others are for pampering and soothing my skin afterwards (I didn't burn, my skin was just a bit dry and dehydrated after more than usual sun exposure and extensive swimming).

I purchased this Hazelnut oil from Milnica because it is supposedly appropriate also for oily and sensitive skin (I had zero issues with it), Mostly I used it as a cleansing agent to remove make-up from my skin and then followed with my regular gel cleanser and my face was clean and didn't feel stripped of moisture (I'm really into this two step cleansing and if necessary I follow with micellar water afterwards). I will repurchase it again but at the moment I have some jojoba oil which also suits me very well.

Aveo grapefruit hand sorbet was purchased last year but since I have so many hand creams only now I started to use it. It has almost clear gel texture with lovely zest fragrance but the issue I have with it is that it leaves my skin sticky and that is a big setback.

On of my favorite SPF face creams is this  Holika Holika dazzling sunshine make up sun cream with SPF 45 +++. It does leave white residue (it is mineral sun cream) but still it keeps me matte. I like it a lot until I found something even better (still mineral but not so white) and so this year I used it on my body (it was also a bit older and I was scared that it wasn't protecting me so applying thick coats was something I did and I didn't get burned even though I spend a lot of time on the sun and in the water, it was waterproof, another reason why it was lovely).

This Essence hydra nail care serum has quickly become an essential item in my nail care. Every time I changed my color (sometimes also in between but mostly when my nails were bare) I applied some of it an massaged it into my cuticles to keep them hydrated and nourished. I liked the fact that it sinked in fast and I wasn't left with greasy residue. I would repurchased it but now I received oil which is very affective but greasy.

Afrodita body jam was sold out almost immediately when it came out. It was so popular that they weren't even able to manufacture it, the demand was too high. I was lucky enough to spot it and get it among the first. It smells just like apricot jam but unfortunately the texture is also just like that. Sticky and annoying. I was saving it for vacation to finally finish it because I don't mind being sticky on the beach.

I wanted to try and love this Catrice HD active performance primer with SPF 30 so badly but unfortunately it just wasn't meant to be. It didn't hold my make-up in place so I decided to use it on my body to at least finish it up. You can find more about it here.

For the last I saved another batch of these Garnier moisture + relaxing tissue mask, super hydrating and detiring with lavender extract and hyaluronic acid. When I came back from my sea vacation my skin was a bit dry and not quite right so I used these two sheets to bring back my normal self. What I also like about it is that there is enough serum left in each bag for another three to four days of nourishing. With these two I really felt a difference when I used them. Maybe they really worked or maybe my skin was just too stressed and a little pampering did the trick. I'm still not 100% sure that I will get them again but if I will I will get these, the purple ones.

Empties

Hello,

I just got back from my vacation and while I had a blast I mostly enjoyed my time outside on the sun and in the sea. I used very minimal skincare only the necessary items but since I used so many I didn't end up finishing any. I guess I will try to use them in the next few days (while the weather is still sunny) or next year.

I have finished another one from Catrice vitamin lip treatment line and this one is called Bohemian Raspberry. A lovely berry-red shade that gave my lips just enough pigment to tint them slightly more red. I'm really into this healthy looking lip situation and not only the shade was perfect the product itself is lovely too. The Watermelon scent, glossines and nourishing properties. This was my second one and I have three more to go.

Next is Blistex mango lip balm. I remember having the original version and I liked it so when I saw this fruity one I decided to get it. It smells lovely but it wasn't moisturizing enough for me. I did a mistake and purchased two more (one in Mango and the other is Strawberry) so I'm not quite done with them but if I wouldn't buy them in advance I wouldn't repurchase them.

La Petit Marseiliais makes this Shea and Fig body lotion which is in my opinion divine. The scent is calming and rich but not too overpowering, the nourishing properties could be better (it is not bad but I noticed if I get really dry skin then it doesn't help much) but for regular everyday is divine and I can easily see myself repurchasing it soon.

I finished another bunch of these Garnier moisture and comfort tissue masks. This time I went with  with Chamomile and Hyaluronic acid combo because my skin just went through some nasty cold and it showcased on my skin. I'm still not sure if these tissue masks do anything. I'm starting to realize that perhaps they don't turn my skin dramatically. It says on the packaging that one of their masks is equivalent of 1 week of hydrating serum in concentration but honestly I don't see that.

The very last item is Ombia cosmetics Hyaluron gel. I use it at night to carry my oils into the deeper levels of my skin and retain moisture. I really like it and have another bottle ready to go.

Empties

Hello,

and I'm back with empties. A little less as usually but it seems like I say that quite often lately...

First item is Avium Citrus natural deodorant. I saw it last year and I decided to try more natural option for my sweaty armpits. At first it seemed like it worked so I got the lavender version as well but then the hot Summer came along and my 'first' opinion went down the drain. It is a stick but sometimes it leaves chunks that I have to rub into my skin, nothing too annoying but what let me down is its inability to prevent bad smell. It claims to reduce the sweat and minimize the scent but in my case that is not evident. I used it on less busy days but still I wasn't happy about it. I still have the Lavender version to go through and I hope that that one will be more suited for my skin.

Next is Avon care Yoghurt & Honey body wash. The scent is a bit generic and fake but thankfully it isn't too strong. The texture is creamier but I haven't noticed any special moisture properties. I think this body wash was average and that in the future I will try something new.

Browsing through the store I came across this Nature Box shampoo with cold pressed Almond oil. I opened the bottle and I liked the scent (I'm no longer crazy about it, I guess I got used to it) and bought it on a whim. It is free from sulfates, silicones and parabens. I'm not a scientist or someone who is knowledgeable about ingredients but I purchased it simply because I like the scent. At first I had to get to used to it. I used more than usually to properly wash my hair (it doesn't foam as much as 'regular' shampoos) and in the beginning my hair looked a bit dry and stripped. After using it a couple of times my hair got used to it and they were fine but nothing spectacular. Maybe I will try some other version but this one I won't repurchase.

My sister loves sheet masks but I think they are a bit impractical (they have the tendency to fall off so I only use them in the morning while still laying in my bed), still I wanted to give them another chance and bought a bunch of these Garnier ones (they look new?). First I tried the moisture + freshness tissue mask with green tea and hyaluronic acid. I have a really terrible cold (I know, I know, cold in the middle of a Summer? It sucked the life out of me and my skin, in fact my skin hasn't looked so terrible in years so I decided to treat it with this duo pack of sheet masks). My pimples didn't looked particularly reduced but my skin looked moisturized and taken care of. I have some other versions and after trying some more I will decide if they are worth it for me or not.

The very last item is Olaz anti-wrinkle firm and lift renewal eye gel. I picked it up because of its gel texture. I needed something light for the morning use under my make-up. I like to use something that absorbs quickly, plumps and nourish my under eye area all at once. This one was nice but I wished to be a bit more moisturizing, I still crave this Afrodita's Hydra Thermal one, which is discontinued. I compare every single eye cream to this one and nothing comes close.

Wow, this time I have nothing but 'average' products. None of them was a complete failure for me but they didn't ether rock my world.

Empties

Hello,

long time no words from me, I know I know but I'm back with one of the most 'refreshing' posts. That is how these empties feels for me, like a little Spring cleaning where I get to throw a bunch of empty and now useless packaging away.
Less clutter is how I want to live my life and that mostly includes using up what I have (check) and buying as little as possible (a bit smaller check ;)-

Okay, without any rambling this is Garnie oil beauty body scrub. I bought a set with lotion which was recommended to me by my sister (I haven't used it yet) but this scrub was nice. I prefer to use a brush for my body but this one smelled really good. Would I repurchase it, nope simply I don't think it is cost efficient compared with the big 'horse' brush which lasts for a really long time.

Mixa baby surgras moisturizer for face and body for sensitive and dry skin was another 'let's try it out' kind of product. A while ago I was into baby creams for my sensitive skin to provide it with necessary moisture and tone down my redness. I wasn't really pleased with it (I honestly don't even remember what I thought of it since it was so long since I used it), now I found it at the back so I just used it on my body to finish it up.

One of my favorite face washes is this Himalaya purifying neem foaming face wash. It is bright green but it comes out as a light foam which effectively removes everything from my face but it doesn't dry it out. I still love it and I will buy it soon, right now I'm using another favorite of mine.

Hands down my favorite under the eye area concealer is this Essence camouflage healthy glow concealer in Light Ivory. It is a bit light that is why I only use it under my eyes but I love how buildable the coverage is and how natural it looks, very very little creasing and that is amazing. I'm already using my next tube of it.

Huh, Essence used to make these prettifying lip oils in three options (I had all of them). This one is red named First help pinky. It had very little pigment but it was super glossy/juicy looking with nice nourishing properties even though constant reapplying was a must. Still, I think it is worth it.

This is my second Milnica's Rosemary toner. It has quite a strong herbal scent (I like it a lot) but the reason why I keep buying it is that I think it is nicely moisturizing, I even pour it into the spray bottle and use it on my face without any cotton pads that would absorb its magic.

The very last one is this Fenjal intensive creme deo roll on that I fell in love with. Roll on thingy is my favorite way of applying deodorant and I liked the fresh and clean scent of it and to top it of it really worked for me, no stinky underarms for me  ;)

Empties

Hello,

on this rainy day I collected all my empties. It is a colorful bunch of  awesome and some not so great products. Some of them I will definitely repurchase or I have already and some that I will never touch again.

First is Balea coconut water which smells awful, very plastic like so I hold my breath for as long as possible after using it but then it evaporates and I can't detect it anymore (thankfully this scent is discontinued but I think they now have just the non scented version and something with mint or citrus? Something refreshing maybe? I should check). I used it because the mist is so fine, it hits my face evenly and it is never too wet. I was pretty consistent and used it on top of my make up to avoid cakey and dry patches and it worked fine, so I'm definitely looking for a new one in a different scent or unscented version.

Next is what become my favorite foundation and it is Catrice HD liquid foundation in Light Beige. I love the pipette/dropper even though it is not that efficient but better than nothing. The color Light Beige is a perfect match and even though it is supposed to be matte it has some glow (no shimmer), it looks natural on the skin and the coverage is pretty high on its own but you can definitely build it up and go all out with it. I love it and I'm already using a new bottle of it.

Another favorite of mine is this Alverde aqua see algea essence. This watery essence took me by surprise. I really wasn't expecting much from it but this little baby moisturized my dehydrated skin with ease, I know you shouldn't use it on its own so I top it off with some moisturizing oil and it did wonders for my skin. This will most definitely end up again in my basket but first I have to use up some more expensive and less efficient essences and elixirs before I purchase it again.

I fell in love with the scent of this The Body Shop Vineyard peach body lotion. It really smell authentic and it is gorgeous but I have noticed that it wasn't moisturizing enough for my skin and I got some dry patches after I started using it (I can't verify that this lotion caused it but after I started using the oil that I will talk in a second my skin healed and now that I'm not using it anymore it looks like nothing happened). The scent was definitely amazing but nourishing properties weren't there.

So the magical miracle that I mentioned is this Melvita Jojoba oil. I ended up using it for so many things like removing my make-up (I started doing the triple cleanse, first is the oil to separate make-up from my face, second is some kind of gel to efficiently remove make-up off my face and third is cotton pad soaked with micellar water to make sure everything is clean). It definitely works as cleanser, then when my face was clean I would use a couple  of drops to moisturize my face, I used it on my arms where I developed some dry patches to sooth and nourish and I even used it on the ends of my hair. I definitely need more Jojoba oil in my life but first I will try to use some others up before repurchasing.

The very last item is this all in one Garnie skinactive rose 3 in 1, cream and mask. They suggest to use it in the morning and night but also as a mask if you don't mind slapping a thicker layer on. I didn't like it at all. It was not light enough, the texture reminded me of a butter so it was definitely not great for the day under make-up (at least for my oily skin), I tried it at night but after a while it absorbs and my skin didn't feel nourished but tight and not really taken care of and if I applied a thicker layer it just dried and it lay on top of my skin and did nothing. Well, probably it did something but the results were so minimal that I didn't notice them. At the end I just used it on my body and didn't worry about it.

This Trend it up Soft color butter pen lipstick in the shade 010 is so good, a perfect mix of gloss, lipstick and lip balm. I wish they would make more shades of them. I scrap everything out of the tube so there wasn't enough for the swatch but if you are curious some swatches are here. This formula is one of my favorites and I wish they would still make it.
Next are the Catrice beautifying lip smoothers in Coffee to go and Best mauve ever. I originally wanted the soft pink shade but since I couldn't find it I settled for these two. Nude one was a bit too light for me so I only wore it inside (so no one saw me) and the brighter berry one was a bit too bright and I was too scared to wear it in public in case of bleeding or going out of my lines. They had a nice formula but nothing too spectacular, if they would still be available I wouldn't get them. I didn't completely finish them because they started to smell so I decided to part with them and use something that is at least still good.

Empties

Hello,

I have been focusing on a couple of products and so in this post I have a wide variety of empties. Some of them are my favorites and already repurchased, others not so good are already trashed and out of my life.

Avon Planet SPA Greek Seas with Algae extract smoothing moisture lock eye gel was something I wanted to try for the Summer but it took me much longer to actually use it up. It was a proper gel with some pink/purple pearl shimmer which wasn't obvious on the skin. It absorbed fast but I didn't noticed any special moisturizing properties so I won't repurchase it again.

This bottle of Eveline expert C, 12% active vitamin C serum is already my second one. I bought both at the same time and while I loved the first one I think this one went bad. There was no intense citrus scent as there was with the first one and I'm pretty sure this one caused acne, so I just pour it out. I know vitamin C is very unstable but I expected that the dark bottle placed in a dark drawl would protect the product inside. I have some other serums that needs to be used up but after that I will buy this serum from Eveline again but only one at the time.

Avon Advance Technique duo treatment spray for luxuriously nourished hair is another repurchased product. There are two oils and you are supposed to shake them to mix and it smells so very good. I haven't noticed that my hair would look better so I used it only because of the scent and I will buy it again in the near future.

Garnier skin active honey face wash smelled amazing. Very honey like and that is definitely my jam. It did wash my make-up off and didn't strip my skin. It was really nice but I don't think I will buy it again. Himalaya's neem foaming was or Alkmene's tea tree wash simply do more when it comes to my acne.

Second to last blue bottle is Melvita's Lavender floral face water. I think this is my third bottle of it and if it didn't work it wouldn't be a constant in my make-up routine. I like to spray my face with it after I'm done with my cream and before my powder products especially in the cooler months. I will probably try lavender toner from some other, cheaper brand to see if it works just as good otherwise I'm buying it again.

Batiste Tropical dry shampoo was a disappointment. I like their peony scented version but I wanted to try some other scents as well and this one was icky. To me it smelled like plastic bag which they tried to cover it up with a generic overly sweet coconut scent. I apologize to everyone who love it but we are all different, with different tastes. Peony version is already repurchased and I also took the cherry one to try out and I hope it will be better then this one.

Melvita Extraordinary oil was just a 17 ml sample (this is the second sample bottle that I went through plus I used up the full, 100 ml version in the past). This oil has intoxicating scent, it is so very good and addictive but I don't think it did much for my skin or hair. I used it and my skin didn't look any better, if anything it was a bit dry like this oil wasn't moisturizing enough for me. It is on the more expensive side so when the results aren't there I don't think I can justify buying a new bottle.

Catrice Pure Shine Colour balm in Go, Flamingo Go! was a repurchased shade and I used up another red one. These balms were amazing. Very moisturizing, tinted and glossy, everything I seek in a lip product and I would get it again in a heartbeat if I could.

Avon Mark Plump it clear gloss is nothing new for me. Through the years they changed the names, packaging, shades but the formula still seems the same. This is my third tube of it and I love it. Clear isn't really my first pick but the tingling, minty and cooling formula is phenomenal if you like that sort of thing. I'm glad that I used it up before the really cold weather because I only use it when it is hot outside but next year I'm getting some more. I'm eyeing the nude shade.

Alverde Rose face oil has been repurchased numerous times. My irritated skin responds so well to it. After a couple of days of using it (I apply it at night time) my skin looks more even and is more moisturized. I like the handy pipette packaging but 15 ml of product goes quick. At the moment I don't have it since I'm working on another oil but when that one is gone I'm repurchasing it aging.

A'pieu NonCo tea tree face oil is another little gem (14 ml) for my skin. When my skin is suffering form acne or when I just start to feel them under the surface I start using it (also at night), those little suckers don't stand a chance. Also at the moment that was the only bottle of tea tree oil in my possession but I'm testing a sample from The Body Shop and I will see if it is just as good.

The Body Shop shade adjusting lightening drops is another 'I can't live without' product. I love my foundation but the lightest shade is not light enough so I just can't see myself not using it.Even one week of vacation couldn't turn my skin darker enough to make it without the drops so this is a must and a new bottle is already in good use.
