Empties

 Hello,

on this beautiful last day of February I took photos of so many used up products and there are still so many that I was super close to finishing as well, but they will have to wait till March which is just around the corner.

This is my favorite dry shampoo, it is Batiste Fresh dry shampoo with self explanatory fresh scent. It always gives me the feeling that I washed my hair (because it absorbs oil well and because of the scent itself). I need to shake it well before using it and it works like a charm. I like some other scents but this one is the most versatile of them all.

Next is a line of L'oreal elseve bond repair hair products. First is shampoo and conditioner (both my second bottles already). I really liked how my hair looked while I was using them and repurchased them. My hair definitely needs a haircut but using these products you couldn't tell. My hair were smoother and less frizzy after using them. Shampoo foams nicely and I don't need to use tons of it while the conditioner has a thicker formula and while in my hair, doing its magic I could wash the rest of my body and shave (the point is that it doesn't slip out of my hair). After half drying my hair I would use this leave in serum (one pump for one side, so two pumps per wash) and I did notice a difference while I used this opposed when I skipped it. This is still my first bottle so I did used it with some other shampoos and conditioners and it is really nice. At the moment I have a different combo in the shower but I did repurchase this leave in treatment to continue using it. Eventually I will get the other two products again but first I would like to finish some other products which I already have.

Next I have a bunch of body items.

First is Balea Golden Winter body lotion which smells like Mugler Alien (the purple shade was a hint) but unfortunately I had this one for a little too long and it went bad since the scent turned plastick-like. Otherwise it had a pretty similar scent and for the scent alone I would repurchase it but the formula was slightly oily and it was not my favorite. It is about half a tube still full but since it went bad I will throw it away.

Next is The Body Shop Almond milk body lotion and this one was a love. I love the easy to absorb formula, pleasant scent and the moisture it provided. I already bought a butter in this scent because it was too pretty and they also had a sale going on so I stocked up.

Bottle is Ebeline nail polish remover and it was nice one, very inexpensive and effective. I think I had this particular one before and I would get it again.

Lastly there are two Paco Rabanne items from their Pure Xs line (I also have 50ml perfume bottle but it is still going strong). I used lotion and a few drops from the mini perfume bottle everyday in February. I made it into my scent and this one still gets me even though it is one of my oldest perfumes. This cent profiles still baffles me, the notes listed just don't make sense to me because my brains pick up something completely different. First hour this smells like I live in a cinnamon cookie factory and then it transforms into a heavy floral scent which reminds me of Good Girl. I love layering this perfume with itself :) It is such a warm and happy scent to me that I can't see myself ever getting over it.

This is the first half of my February empties and the second will follow tomorrow.

empties

Hello,

these are my July empties and there are a handful of items.

In the summertime my hair get greasier faster so I used dry shampoo between washes a bit more. This Batiste Blush option is one of my favorites. If I don't shake it well or put too much in one area it can make my hair look a bit too dull but if I am careful this one really works well. This scent as mentioned is one of my favorites.

Next is Ahava mineral botanic velvet body lotion in the Lotus & Chestnut option. I actually purchased it for my sister since she mentioned that she likes it but I bought the wrong one... she was talking about a different scent... at the end I decided to keep it and use it myself. It had a light lovely scent and it did nourish my skin. I liked it a lot but I think it is a bit pricey.

I have ordered this set from Just last year and only now I got to use it. It has Argan and Cedar ingredients and scent. Top is a body wash and bottom is body butter. The scent is a bit masculine but I liked that. Body wash was nothing to special and I used it up rather quick but the butter was thick and whipped. A little went a long way and my skin felt nice after using it. If this would still be available I would get the butter again.

This mini Urban Decay all nighter spray was a gift with purchase and I had hight hopes. The sprayer was nice but I noticed that my face would get greasy faster than usually. I don't mean that it is bad, just taht I have found better.

I am talking about this Catrice ultra last fixing spray which keeps my make up in place for longer and I don't get as greasy. I stopped counting which bottle this is but probably I have gone through ten already and I still have about ten backups. The price is also better than the UD one.

Bottle with the pump is Avon advance technique silky smooth hair oil. This was my second or third bottle of it and I still like it a lot. I would put it on freshly washed hair while still slightly damp and they would dry with less frizz and smoother. If needed I would occasionally put them on dry hair as well but I had to be careful not to make them too oily. I would get this one again.

Empty tube is The Body Shop Petal Rose hand cream. Nice floral scent and almost gel texture which was quick to absorb but it wasn't hydrating enough. They have different scents within the line which fit my dry hand better.

Little pink pot is The Body shop vitamin E moisture cream which felt very light. I remember having one before (gel format) and I liked it more... this is probably different version and I didn't find it hydrating enough even though it did absorb quickly. I will not be buying it again.

I have been wanting to try these Fresh balms for at least two years now. I have seen them on someone and I couldn't get them out of my head. Finally I gave in and pay the rather hefty price for only 6g of product but the product inside is so worth it. The fruity mango scent (I am not sure how mango scent smells like but this could it be it, it is fruity :) and it glides effortless. I don't love the yellow/orange hue of the product because it can look wrong (like I have been eating eggs but forgot to wash). Mostly I was wearing it to bed and the next day my lips were hydrated and soft. I tottaly got myself a new one, this time in Coconut version :)

Catrice HD baking & setting loose powder in the 01 shade. It looks white and also gives a bit of a white cast if I wasn't careful. This one, I think, is my first loose powder and while it is messy it also worked well with my extra oily skin. I am using their HD liquid foundation with this mattifying powder on top and Catrice fixing spray (mentioned above) and at the end of the day my make up looked still presentable. I was very happy with this powder but they discontinued it :(. before it was completely gone I purchased two white ones and two 03 shades (02 which would probably be my match was sold out) so now I am mixing the white and colored powder together to get the right mix :)

Out of eleven used up products I would get 6 of them again but for the other 5 I have no sorrows.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day

Empties

 Hello,

below I have a small batch of empties but they are just for the first half of May, second half will be fuller.

Tall bottle throwing the balance of the line is Batiste Floral dry shampoo. I still like them a lot and rarely buy from other brands just because these are so nice. It is slightly white but if I am careful it is okay. Lovely scent of a non descriptive floral scent but I will get it again.

Next is It's skin power 10 formula VC effector with vitamin C. I really liked this serum, the texture was just right and the bottle lasted me a long time. I like vitamin C products since I still have some acne scars and they disappear faster with use and this one did a nice job. I would get it again.

While purchasing some of their products (mostly body moisturisers) I have also received this mini Korres Greek Yoghurt nourishing probiotic gel cream for calming and hydrating my skin. I liked the light texture (I am a sucker for gel textures) but sometimes it was too 'light' for me, I would follow with some oil on top. I probably won't be buying it, because there are other ones with similar texture that I have tried and work for me better.

In the middle there is oil from Milnica and it is Castor oil. I used it mainly for my hair to promote hair growth but I haven't noticed any big changes, I still prefer Great Burdock for my hair. This one is also very thick and greasy. I need to check if there is another bottle of Castor oil in my 'collection' to use it up and then I probably I won't be buying it again.

I have finished up another Avon advance technique supreme oils hair oil. I absolutely love these, no matter which option I get I love them all or maybe I should say that my hair loves them. I like to use them on still damp hair after washing and it smooths them and makes them silkier and shinier. Right now I am using oil from a different brand but I don't like it as much. These are not as greasy, one pump for the ends of my still slightly wet hair and no oilyness in sight.

Last but not least is one of my favorite scents at the moment. It is a travel option of Lancôme La vie est Belle Oui perfume. I already purchased big size (hello sparkly bottle) and later received this one as a gift with purchase. This size is nice to just put it in my purse and refresh while on the go even though this one lasted on me almost whole day (usually I use three sprays) mostly I would use it if I forgot to use perfume at home. Because this is so long lasting on me it also lasted me a long time, thankfully I still have almost full 100 ml bottle.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day

Empties

Hello,

my latest empties from November include a lot of products, some good and some really nice.

L'oreal blond me dry shampoo is a real game changer because it comes out like a thick foam. It makes my hair wet so it does take some time for it to work out (usually I do my make-up in the mean time) and the I just shake them up. They are dry and fresh without a single white cast, I already have a backup ;)

Batiste dry shampoo with the fresh scent. It smelled like I got out of the shower, I guess like clean hair :) I absolutely loved the scent and I will definitely be buying it again since it has that same effective Batiste formula plus the scent of freshly cleansed hair. I like to alternate between these two dry shampoos since I still think the L'oreal takes a bit more of my time but when done right it looks more natural than Batiste.

Next I have a quad of Some by Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 days collection.

At the bottom is their miracle toner with niacinamide  and teatree. It is very watery and I liked to use it under my serums, verl lightweight and great to pair with something heavier on top, I would just wait for t to get completely absorbed (I already have a big size). On the ground level is miracle serum centela asiatica and teatree with pipette. Very similar to toner if I compare the textures and I loved the packaging. On top is first miracle face wash which created thick foam and I had a feeling like it really did cleanse my pores well but sometimes it felt a bit too much, my skin felt a bit stripped. Nothing too bad if I properly moisturise afterwards. I would get it again. The very last item is miracle cream centela asiatica and teatree, quite light in texture but hydrating. I really liked it and would get it again.

Under there is a pot of The Body Shop Almond milk body yoghurt. It smelled very nice, creamy and nutty. I really like these types of scents for bed but these yoghurts aren't the most hydrating for my skin so probably I will skip these in the future but I  will try to get the lotion version of this scent.

Next item was gift with purchase. It is Armani stronger with you body wash. It had a nice scent, manly and fresh, zesty and comforting. I liked it but probably I wouldn't enjoy it in the perfume version.

My holy grail fixing spray from Catrice is making apperance again. I go through these 50ml bottles regularly since it actually makes difference at longevity of make-up. I keeps my make-up put but lets my skin a bit glowy, it is not sticky it just has a shine and in my opinion that makes it look natural.

Dove invisible care antiperspirant was also a free gift with purchase and since it was quite small I started using it on my summer vacation. It looks small but it lasted me a long time. The scent was nothing special but I liked the formula. I still sweat through my antiperspirants but my natural scent is reduced significantly.

White tube is famous La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm B5+. The formula is a bit thicker and it doesn't pair well with other more liquid items underneath (I had to wait for toners or serums to fully absorb otherwise this just slid over my skin) and the thick texture is a bit white. I am a bit conflicted since I read how many good benefits this has but the white greasy texture wasn't my favorite.

A while ago I purchased this mini Origins Drink up intensive overnight hydrating face mask with Avocado. First think that I noticed was the sweet scent (it reminded me of candy). it was also a bit thicker but not as greasy as the product mentioned above. I used it as a night cream, I tried to not exaggerate with over applying but using as much as I would normal cream. I think I would rather get this one again over the La Roche-Posay tube.

Last two items are hand creams from Avon. First is the gentle one with multi-biotics and vanilla and second is silicone gloves. The first one was really nice, the Vanilla didn't shine through though. But for the silicone glowes one I didn't have much hope since I expected it to be to slippery but in fact it was nice. It was lightweight and it did absorb, my only complaint is that when I washed my hands I felt it coming off and it didn't made much difference on the long run. It was helpful when it was on but when rinsed I didn't think it did much.

Empties

 Hello,

I got a bit lazy and I decided to join both empties posts into one. First photo features products used in the first half and second photo shows products used at the end of the month.

First of there is Balea Flower Dream body wash and shampoo. I only used it as a body was and even though it implies floral scent to me it smelled like fresh Raspberries. I really liked it and I would get it again in a heartbeat.

Next is a staple of mine, Beauty Glam Niacinamide serum, I love adding it to my night time routine under heavier creams to smooth my texture and help with sensitivity of my skin. I already have a new bottle of it and when it will be on sale I am getting it again.

Third is my beloved Dr. Grandel ferment peeling. It comes in a glass and inside is thin white powder when mixed with water it gets activated. The foam is super thin and light, I just massage it onto my face and rinse afterwards, my skin is immediately smoother and what I like it is how gentle it is. No particles and no burning, my sensitive skin approves and this is my second bottle already. These last for about one year so for me it is money well spent.

Tube is Frudia Mango lip balm. It is a thick product with barely there fruity scent (I hopped for a stronger and juicer scent) but I did like the which texture, perfect for night time. More often than not I would wake up with product still on and that is something I like. My lips never looked dry or chapped afterwards so formula is right. Next time I would like to try some other versions as well, I am tempted by Grape version.

Last in line is Catrice Illuminating blush in the shade I'm nuts about you. Lovely peach shade which added some brightness to my face. I really grow to like this blush as I think it looked really nice against my skin tone. In a way it will be missed but I'm also very excited to wear something else, maybe pink blush.

One of my favourite dry shampoos is this Batiste blush option. Fresh Peony scent and well known and loved formula. I already have a few backups of it, it just shows my love.

Second is Balea perfumed deodorant. This is my second and last bottle of it, I purchased it of well know Mugler Alien scent but I don't trust this formula enough to wear it on its own. Usually I would top my other deos with it to add some scent. I also have lotion with this scent and I enjoy it very much.

Avon advance technique smooth as silk hair oil is the bomb. In the past I have used up a few bottles of it and I sill like it. My hair loves it and look less brittle or dry if I use it. I got into a habit of using it on clean damp hair every time I wash them and my hair look healthy and happy (if that is possible).

Last is my beloved Catrice ultra last fixing spray. It does feel like hairspray but with right dosage it is not noticeable and my make-up lasts all day long. I already have 10+ backups of it :) Talk about obsessed ;)

Empties

 Hello,

this batch of empties is quite large, I managed to finish up to 8 items and there are a few more just waiting to be gone.

Here I have one of my favourite perfumes which is Lancôme Hypnose. Such a lovely powdery passion fruit scent, I seriously can't get enough of it. I already have a new bottle but before cracking new bottle I will wear some other fragrances just to prevent getting sick of this particular scent.

Batiste dry shampoo is a staple in my bathroom. It is so easy to fix the hair with it and make them look more presentable through the day. I went through a numerous bottles of Batiste dry shampoo and this particular Cheeky Cherry is my second favourite (my first is still Peony but there are a few different scents which share the no. second spot). I already have a few backups in various scents.

Avon Avocado replenishing body wash is a lovely creamy product. This is already my second bottle and I have two more backups. I love the slightly thicker texture (it is not runny like water, if you are clumsy like I am then spilling it into the drain it possible) which makes this product last so much longer than the rest of body washes plus the scent is a creamy heaven to me but nothing too overpowering. Great for calming me down after a long day at work.

Next is Holika Holika Green Tea face wash. It looks like a cream which foams a little when mixed with water. It is gentle jet effective. This is my second tube and I wanted to get a new one but the price went up so instead I purchased a different one to try out but I will be on a lookout to get it again once the price drops.

Ebelin nail polish remover, I think this one is pretty basic but it works for me. It is very inexpensive and easy to get, I already bought myself a new bottle of it.

There is Aloe Vera Fruit of the Earth gel, I have tried some other brands but I have not had such success as with this one. This one doesn't irritate my skin if applied on sun exposed skin, I also use it on dry and dehydrated areas or use it as a hair gel. This tube lasted me few years but now I got myself a bottle twice the size ;) I think it will last me a lifetime :)

Catrice HD Liquid Coverage foundation in Light Beige is my favourite, formula and shade wise. With this foundation I can choose lighter or higher coverage, depending on the day and I think it looks pretty natural  and not caked through the day. I personally have to set it with powder and reapply another layer of powder through my work day since my skin is oily but I think it still looks nice and the price is super low on it. This one is a massive love and I already have a few backups.

In front there is Avon Always on Point eye pencil in Molten Pewter shade. I love this self sharpening mechanism. It allows me to always have a sharp end, every time you twist the lid back it sharpens and I think it is genius. So, I love the packaging, the formula is creamy and it sets after a few seconds and the color doesn't shift all over. The color was one of my favourites, it was a cool toned green with shimmer and great on its own or over darker colours to add some shimmer, I would repurchase it again if possible.

Empties

 Hello,

my resolution to post more often haven't come true jet but maybe next month it will be better. Until then I have my empties all lined up.

First is my beloved Essence camouflage+ healthy glow concealer in Light Ivory shade. This is my favourite one, love the creamy texture which doesn't settle too much into my fine lines and it is the perfect shade for my skin tone. I think the healthy glow line is discontinued but I have also tried the matte version and on me they feel pretty much the same in term of formula, just the shade range is different but I can still find a good shade for me.

Next, on top is the Lavender toner from Milnica. I like getting these since they are simple and inexpensive but I prefer to pour them into the bottles with the sprayer and spray them on so I can also use them over my make-up if I'm feeling a bit dry and tight. Lavender is my favourite, Rose being close second. I will get it again but I'm pretty stocked up so I should just finish what I already have before buying more.

Under the toner is Afrodita's pure coconut sugar body scrub. This is very intense since the sugar in it is rough but then the coconut smooths over... it actually is a delight to use because my skin is left with a thick film over it and I love it. On days that I used it I didn't really need to use any other body lotion, this scrubs and nourish the skin. The particles are rough so I would advise gentle massage but sugar does dissolve and  then is just coconut grease all over and that to me feels great. I actually wanted to repurchase it but when I got home I noticed that instead of scrub I purchased butter... it is in the same type of packaging with the same picture... I haven't use it jet but I am excited. After I'm through another scrub I'm getting this one again.

Batiste makes some of my favourite dry shampoos and the Fresh version has to be my second favourite. It is white but it is easily blended into my hair as long as I don't spray too close to the hairline and the fresh scent mimic the freshly washed hair... what is not to love? I already have a backup of it :)

Regular nail polish switching also requires nail polish remover and for me inexpensive works. I used up Ebeline nail polish remover which costs very little and is very effective. My nails aren't super sensitive, even though now in the cold they break more easily I don't think more expensive nail polish remover would be any different so I prefer to hydrate more and rather spend more money on nourishing products than nail varnish removers. I'm already using new bottle of the same kind and I will continue to repurchase it.

This next items is the only disappointing one in the bunch and it is the expensive Ahava silky soft cleansing cream. It smells like plastic, not super strong but when I rub it all over my face I can definitely smell it. The other thing and even more burning one is the fact that this product burned my eyes. God forbid I would rub it all over my eyes (to remove stubborn mascara) and then opened them... with other make-up removing products it wasn't that bad or some of them gave me no irritations at all so it has to be this particular item that I'm having issues with. I will definitely not be getting it again and currently I'm already using Jojoba oil and it removes my make-up with the same ease and if I accidentally open my eyes it doesn't burn at all.

The very last item in here is probably the most used one since I probably used up around ten tubes already and I have no intentions to stop using it. It is Neutrogena Clear & Defend oil free face moisturiser. It is lightweight jet moisturising, is nourishes my skin but doesn't add more oils to it. Great for under my make-up or on days when I don't wear foundation. For me it is a perfect hydrator and I'm already using a new tube.

Empties

 Hello,

today I have only a few empties, maybe next time it will be a bigger group.

I finished two Avon Planet SPA Ayurveda Ritual body butters with Indian Turmeric Root and Coconut Milk. My sister actually got me hooked so I bought one and immediately got myself a backup because they discontinued them... It is a rich body butter with a pleasant creamy scent, it has Coconut for sure but it isn't overly sweet or sunny scent, perfect for a cold Autumn weather. If I could get it again I would but as mentioned before it is gone.

Next is my trusted Batiste dry shampoo, this particular version is The Cherry one and it has to be one of my favorites. The formula is just superb, very effective with minimal white cast. I noticed that they are changing the packaging design and also are selling them for more money... I will still buy them but at the same time I will start looking alternatives.

The mini bottle up front is Cacharel Yes I am Glorious. A fragrance which is supposed to smell like a creamy Peach but I get a sweet Peach wrapped in candy. Still very nice and uplifting, whenever I put it on I started to smile and not a lot of fragrances do that. I was about to get myself a full bottle but then I stopped myself because I already have a lot of bottles and this one also doesn't last on me. I get around one hour of wear and it is such a shame. If it would last longer I would probably get it but since I rarely retouch my fragrance during the day this poor longevity seems like too big of a drawback, but still it is a very nice scent.

Empties

 Hello,

it is the end of the month and I'm back with a short little post about my empties.

When I purchased my bottle of Bvlgari Aqua Divina fragrance it also came with these two miniatures, body lotion and a body wash which I took with me on my trip. This fragrance smells like a spa to me. Fresh, relaxing, calming, salty but cold. Like a walk down the beach in the Spring time, before the sun lotion is in the air and I also smell grey stones in here. The kind of stones they use for a massage... Very interesting scent and I made a significant dent in my fragrance bottle but I decided to completely finish up these two minis. The body wash smelled a bit oilier and the lotion came off a bit fresher. I enjoyed using them up and if I could get them separate I would.

Next is another body wash and this one is from Balea, soft-öl dusche body wash. Creamy in texture and in the scent, very pleasant but the texture was a bit too liquid for my liking since I used it up way too fast. I probably won't buy it again because I prefer to use body wash that is a bit thicker so majority doesn't get spilled into my drain.

The last items are two dry shampoos. First is Batiste Fresh. Fresh scent indeed and I  liked it very much, my hair got visibly refreshed and the scent didn't interfere too much with my fragrances so I already repurchased it.

And the last one is dry shampoo from Langhaar Mädchen, floral and powdery. Quite strong scent  but since I like it it didn't bother me. I actually finish another bottle before and I really liked it, but now I feel like I won't buy it again since the white residue bothered me. I don't know if previous versions weren't as white or I just didn't notice it... it started to bother me so I will buy dry shampoos from other brands.

Empties

 Hello,

mid month is a cleaning day for me, when I gather all the empty items and pour my thoughts about them here, on my blog.

Batiste makes excellent dry shampoos and this Rose Gold version is very nice. It is not my favorite, scent vise but I liked it. It has typical formula but the scent is what sets it apart. It was very powdery and floral a little too much for me but still nice, none the less. My favorite is still the Blush one (Peony scent).

Body wash is from Avon senses range and it is their White Peach and Vanilla Orchid scent. Lovely,  warm and cozy Peach scent was great and I would get it again but the packaging was nerve wrecking. The lid was super hard to open and therefore I just let it open, probably some of the product evaporated but better than losing a nail. The formula on this one was very pudding like, fun to use as well so I'm excited to see the change in the packaging, I hope it will be for the better.

Next is my favorite shampoo and it is from Iliria and it is their Linden option. It is very inexpensive, smells a bit like the real Linden and cleanses my hair really well without stripping them completely. My hair are always silky soft and full of movement, it doesn't give any volume but I prefer the feeling of no product in my hair anyway. I'm already using new and larger bottle.

Second to last is The Body Shop Winter limited edition Love & Plums body butter. I remember having Plum body butter from them years ago and when I saw this 'new' one I just had to have it. I think it was very similar and I enjoy it very much but my love for thick body butters is slowly dying down, now I prefer lighter textures, more lotion like but this juicy jet comforting scent was very nice.

The very last item is Eveline expert C vitamin serum - injections. The pipette helps you with precision and the dark bottle help to protect the precious product. The scent is very citrusy and the texture is slightly sticky but it does absorb fast. My skin really benefits from it since my acne spots (red dots) heal and disappear faster while using this serum consistently. I already have a new bottle, it is from a different brand but I will definitely be buying more.

Empties

 Hello,

a little selection of 'ordinary' items but next time expect to see some used up sun lotions because I'm finally going to the beach and have fun on the sun.

Essence Shine, Shine, Shine lip gloss in the shade Think Pink is one of my absolute favorites. Great shiny formula with a hint of color. Such a shame that they stopped making these but before they were completely sold out I got myself a back up of this shade so I'm not too sad.

Avon makes amazing mascaras, both, me and my sister are big fans of them and this one is actually my sisters favorite, I personally like to switch it up a bit but this Supershock mascara in Black always makes my lashes look super separated and long. My tube is a limited edition packaging but the brush is the exact same. At the moment I'm using different one (another one of my favorites) but soon I will repurchase this one again.

Another Avon product and this one is the body wash from senses, florist collection named Spring Bloom. To me, this was a bit fresher and with some zing, like it had some ginger in it. Not super floral or sweet, I liked it but wasn't my favorite and I'm glad I finished up this big bottle and I'm ready to start using something more up my alley (something sweeter and creamier).

Another floral product but in my opinion more true to its name is this Batiste dry shampoo called Floral. This is a typical Batiste dry shampoo, a bit white but nothing a good shake can't handle, it absorbs oils nicely through the day and keeps my hair fresher for longer. I'm super happy with this one and I'm going to repurchase it again.

The very last item is this lovely The Body Shop hand cream in Almond Milk & Honey version. The scent is creamy and super comforting, the formula absorbs fast and takes care of my dehydrated hands (hello sanitizers on every step). I can only rave about this product, the only negative thing that I can think of is small tube, because I finished it up way too fast... :)

Empties

 Hello,

I'm a little late but empty products pilled up so I still wanted for them to be in the spotlight.

First tube is The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA (surface hydration formula). I fell for the hype and decided to try some of their products, among all of them I decided to try this face moisturizer for extra hydration but my skin didn't think so. For me it just wasn't hydrating enough, It sat on top of my skin and make it look greasy. At the end I just decided to use it as a hand cream and all over my body so I was able to finish it up quickly and be done with it. I won't be repurchasing this particular one again but there are still some items that I would like to try out from them. I don't feel discouraged to try more for this brand just because this particular product didn't impress me.

I really like Batiste dry shampoos and when I saw this Sweet and Charming Nice version I just had to have it. It really is very sweet and powdery smelling and I liked it very much, there is also a Naughty version but I wasn't brave enough to test that one out ;) This one I will definitely repurchase.

This is second and last  product from the brand 183 Days that I will own because I noticed that they went out of business. I saw this foundation on sale for 2 € and decided to get it. It was very light in texture and coverage but that worked in my favor because otherwise it would be too dark for  me. I bought and used it only on my neck and chest, to match my foundation face to the rest of my body and for this it worked wonderfully. If they would still have it I would get it again, but as I said I wouldn't use it on my face.

Next to it is a lovely The Body Shop hand cream with Shea Butter. The consistency was almost gel like and very unusual considering that it is promoted as a Shea Butter cream. The texture was lightweight and fast absorbing but at the same time very hydrating (I have tried some other ones from them and they all seem to have this amazing formula that works for me like a charm). The scent was light, creamy and slightly masculine, I liked it very much and I will try to get a lotion or body butter in this scent beside another tube of hand cream.

I finally finished this The Body Shop Moringa body butter for 24 h intense moisture especially for dry skin texture. It was quite thick and a little went a long way, no surprise this big tub lasted me for months. I bought it after using up a hand cream in the same scent and I loved it so much to get this big boy but I noticed that the scent wasn't exactly the same. While the  hand cream was super floral, fresh and creamy at the same time this one felt a bit 'dusty' and not as bright. Maybe that was due to its age (I had it for a year and a half in my possession before I started to use it...) I'm not tempted to get this body butter again but I will get the hand cream which had the same gel like consistency as the Shea Butter version.

The very last item is super popular Weleda Skin Food Light (there is also 'regular' version and this one is a bit lighter). The scent is the same herbal which can be a bit too much for me. This is still very greasy and it doesn't absorb that fast, I also noticed that I have other more hydrating and moisturizing creams in my bathroom... plus the strong scent on this... at the end I used it all over my body just so I finish it up as fast as possible.

Empties

 Hello,

for today I only have a little selection of my used up products but let me tell you, all of them will be repurchased if I haven't already.

Nivea Intensive hand cream has this amazing almost rubbery packaging. I had two different versions before this one and this one is just as lovely as the previous ones. Light texture which absorbs quickly and nourishes dry skin and did I mention this soft 'packaging'? I know I still have one more to go through and after that one gone I'm buying it again.

For this next product I can't 100% testify that it does miracles but most definitely I don't have any bad reaction from it. It is REN bio retinoid anti-wrinkle concentrate oil. I did  some research about benefits of using vitamin A and REN is a brand a lot of people with knowledge trust... I think it is a win-win combination. Truth is that I don't get that many acne anymore and my old acne scars are slowly fading. They are still visible and if I use products which are proven to even out the color and texture faster I will most definitely keep buying and using them. I already bought myself a new bottle and I hope that they don't amp up the price or discontinue it.

This product I bough out of curiosity because Neutrogena products seems to work for me and curcuma is an ingredient with lots of positive effects. I don't know just how much of it they used but it is in the first half of the ingredients list... It has a pleasant, light orange scent but it also burn my eyes if it gets too close. At first I thought that I won't repurchase it because of it but after I finished it I started to use something else and my face immediately responded with a bunch of nasty bumps on my chin, the only product that was changed was the face wash... So I think it is safe to say that Neutrogena Curcuma Clear face mousse wash is something I will repurchase again and now I have three holy grail face washes, each from a different brand.

The very last item is L'oreal Magic invisible dry shampoo Fresh Crush. This is my second bottle of it and I really like it. The scent isn't really fresh but it is somewhat bubble gum inspired and quite strong, thankfully I like it but maybe next time I will get a different one just to mix things up. This definitely has a white cast which requires some extra work but other than that I have nothing bad to say about it.

Empties

 Hello,

another empties post in a row. This has become the easiest post to write but also I had nothing new to talk about. That changed yesterday because I went shopping and bought a few new make-up bits. I wanted to get new face primer and along the way I got some more products...

Biobaza Bee Balm and I have two versions of them. Yellow is Ginger & Honey and purple one is Lavender & Vanilla. In my initial review I said that they are on the top three list of my favorite lip balms formula but now I seem like I changed my mind. I wore them in the cold weather and that is when I had some issues. It seem like this formula doesn't like cold weather because it gets all gunky, hard and sticky at he same time while on the lips, outside or indoors if it is too cold. That product buildup is not looking nice and it also feels 'uncomfortable'. If I ever repurchase these I will make sure to use them while it is warm but at the end I don't think I will. There are so many brands out there that I would like to try out...

Next is this lovely dry shampoo from Langhaar Mädchen which is already a repurchase. Affordable price with a lovely scent, somehow floral with a touch of power, barely any white residue and matte finish. This is neck to neck with the Batiste and I will buy more from both brands, I just wish LM would have more scents but this one that they have is amazing already, so...

Last are two face powders, one is my old time favorite and the other one I just finished up so I can throw it away. One of my favorites is Rimmel London Stay Matte face powder in Transparent. I went through a couple of them and I still have backups. I love how matte my face looks like and it holds my oils at bay for a few hours and then I just retouch and continue with my day.
The other one is Benecos Natural compact powder in the shade Porcelain. When I bough it it was the lightest shade available (maybe now they have shades for paler people but I haven't checked them out in a while). It was too dark for me but I would use it on my neck to help it match (my neck seems to appear lighter than my face so I use a tad lighter foundation on my face and a tad darker one on my neck and at the end my face and neck don't look like they belong to two different people ;)

Empties

 Hello,

It is the end of the month and it is empties time! It went by so fast and it is kind of hard to realize that there are only two more months to go...

First is Blistex intensive moisturiser lip cream with Cherry scent. It contains 6 ml of products which I think is quite a lot. It really is a cream product and at first leaves a bit of a white residue on my lips but it does sinks in after a couple of minutes (if I applied more that it took longer to absorb). I was using it at home so no one could see the white cast and it was fine. It is moisturizing and I really liked the Cherry scent. This balm was definitely on the upper part of my lip balm list but I still think I won't repurchase it again. There are other balms that I prefer over this baby.

Next is my holy grail Neutrogena oil free daily face moisturizer. I have used up a lot of these tubes and every so often they slightly change the packaging but the product still feels the same. It is a light texture cream which absorbs super fast, it moisturizes my skin instantly but keeps my skin matte. I tell you, this is magic and I already have a new tube.

Another love is this particular Batiste dry shampoo in the Blush option. It smells like Peony and even though I normally don't obsess over this scent I love it in my hair and on the day when I do spray my hair with it I rarely wear perfume because it is so strong and I want to smell it all day long. I will repurchase it but at the moment I'm using different one which is also really nice (it is from a different brand).

I'm quite sad that The Body Shop don't make this Vineyard Peach collection anymore. I used to have a lotion and the scent charmed me so much that I rushed to the store and got myself butter version as well and now even this has come to an end. This had a very authentic Peach scent and it was delicious. I will miss it but I still have more TBS butters that need to be used up.

Essence High Beauty hydrating primer was a gift from Essence PR team. I already talked about it in depth so I will just quickly go through main points. First is the smell, it is very natural and green smelling, not my favorite but after a while it disappears. Then the texture is cream like and slightly yellow but it sinks in very fast and my skin looked pretty matte but when I applied my foundation on top of it it looked more dewy and since I have pretty oily skin this one wasn't my favorite. I used it up on my days off, over face cream to amp up the moisture and using it like that I was able to finish it up pretty fast.

The very last item is this Benecos Natural Kajal in White (to be honest it is more of a off white color-cream if you will). When I bought it I was obsessed with putting it into my lower waterline so I immediately bought myself a backup (there was no need to do that  because it is still available). After using it daily I started to wear it less and less until I completely forgot about it. Only recently I picked it up again and the experience wasn't the best. I put it into my waterline and after a while it started to travel around my eye and my vision blurred a bit, not something I would want so I'm throwing it away and I will start using the 'new' one and if it does the same I'm throwing that one away as well.

I'm done with products that work only partially for me, I'm not going to push boundaries to make it work. It ether works or I'm letting go of it, life is to short to wear make-up which doesn't makes me happy.

Empties

Hello,

I have been very excited for this empties, mostly because a lot of these I finished up quite early into the month so all of these empty tubes and bottles were sitting on my shelf for a while now and now I get to toss all of them.

First I have two bottles of toner from Milnica and this time I choose Linden hydrolate. I grew up drinking tea made out of Linden and I love the scent. I read on their page that this product is especially recommended for sensitive, quickly irritated skin with acne problems and that describes my skin to the T. I poured this into a spray bottle so I can refresh in the morning or evening. I love spraying my toner on my face and then follow with my creams and oils. I like this very much and I can see myself repurchasing it in the future.

Balea Iced Strawberry body wash was an impulse purchase. I think it was also on sale because they were discontinuing this LE. It smelled more like Raspberries or a mix of different Forest Berries with some cream added to the top. I liked it but it wasn't anything special.

Next product isn't completely finished but it started to separate so I feel like it is all gone. It is Isadora face perfect primer. It is silicone based and fills in my pores and imperfections well but when I'm putting my foundation on top it can't sink into my skin because of the barrier. I always thought that silicone primers are perfect for my oily skin but I slowly started to realize that I was wrong. My make-up just doesn't look seamless with silicone primer underneath, I think it looks very obvious and sometimes cake-y and my foundation starts to shift around when my oils do come through. I think for now I will avoid silicon primers altogether.

This next tube is one of my favorite hand creams and it is not a surprise that it is from Avon care. It is their 'newer' restoring moisture hand cream with Coconut. I was scared that it might be too sweet or weird scented but it is actually very mild and barely there. It does have a distinct Coconut scent but not sweet like some candy. It sink into my skin fast and nourish my poor hands. I kept it at work and all of my coworkers kept borrowing it so I think that is a good sign  ;)  I already have a new one.

The very last bottle is this Batiste Fruity & Cheeky Cherry dry shampoo. My favorite is still Peony one but this is nice as well. I think the formula is practically the same. It is a bit powdery white, so a good shake is necessary but it covers my oily scalp for a whole day and then in the evening I wash it off just like I do with any other dry shampoo. I never go to bed with dry shampoo on my hair, it is a pet peeve of mine. I just can't but I like to use them to freshen my hair for the day. At the moment I have my favorite Peony one but I can see myself repurchasing this Cherry one again to mix it a bit.

Empties

Hello,

I like this collection from Avon naturals Raspberry & Hibiscus (it smells really nice, just like if I rolled in Raspberries) and this is hair mist to just add the scent to the hair. Since I started to use perfumes regularly this started to get unnecessary. I started to use it after using dry shampoo to get rid of the white cast and it helped to prevent white residue. I'm happy that I found a way to use it and that it is finally used up. I will no longer buy it because there is no need for it but I will for sure buy the shampoo and the conditioner from the same line.

Next is this Aveo Harmony hand cream that my mom gifted to me. It has a lovely scent of Violets and the formula isn't that bad. I still prefer the Avon Care hand creams but this is also very nice formula and they always have plenty of different scents to pick from. It helped to prevent dry skin and nourish my hands, you only have to be careful not to apply too much because then it won't absorb and your hands will be left all sticky.

This dry shampoo was an impulse purchase a while ago. It is from 'new' brand Langhaar Mädchen. They have lovely packaging and I also tried (smelled) their hair oil and it smells delicious but I decided that I don't need it at the moment but instead I got myself this dry shampoo and I could not be happier. The scent is kind of hard to describe it is very soft powdery-floral but it still makes a punch but the formula is what makes this one great. It has a very light white effect and when you shake or comb your hair they just look matte (what you wanted) and it doesn't change the color that much which is an absolute bonus. If I compare it to the popular Batiste they have more scents and are stronger but also the white cast is more obvious with the Batiste brand. So if you want something barely there go for this Langhaar Mädchen brand but if you prefer to switch out the scents then go with the Batiste. I think I will still buy from both brands (I can't forget the Batiste Peony scent but I prefer the formula of LM brand).

Next tube is the sad one :( In the past I have already used one and since I liked it so much I bought a set of this lotion and the fragrance. Unfortunately I have waited too long and this lotion went bad. It is Avon Perceive body lotion. The scent is powdery white flowers. Like clean cotton shirt that has been dried outside on the white flowers field, if that makes sense. I still have the 30 ml bottle of the perfume and for now that will have to be it. For a while now I'm not planing on buying new lotions since I have so many but if my taste won't change after I go through what I have I will probably buy it again but then I will make sure to use it up completely shortly after getting it.

Another Avon Perceive product and this one is the Oasis fragrance. To me it smelled like fresh cut Roses. Scent of Roses mixed with green notes, like a fresh cut bouquet. I used to really like scent like that but now I prefer something heavier and sweeter. I have been layering it and also using it as a room spray.

Another fragrance will leave my space and this one I liked even better than the one before. It is Avon Passion Fruit scentini fragrance. I know they have a bunch of these and they encourage you to buy more and layer them. I had quite a lot of them but at my recent decluttering I gave all of them away and kept only this fruity one. It is called Passion Fruit and that is how it smells like. Very fruity and at first it is also very strong. It doesn't have that much citruses added so it is not zingy but on a creamier side. Even though I'm not into super fruity scents this one still warm up my heart.

The very last items is this Rimmel London Stay Matte face powder in Transparent. After trying it a couple of times I fell in love with it and soon I found them on sale and bought a bunch of them as backups (I think I have five or six more ;). It performs very well on my oily skin. I like how it keep my natural oils at bay for longer and even when I reapply it at work it doesn't look cakey. Those two reasons are enough for me to go and buy multiples. I still love my Catrice all matt face powder but I got this Rimmel one for less  ;)

Empties

Hello,

this time around I have a little less items but I'm trying to go through so many products which makes it hard to focus on just a couple. Every year I'm trying to finish as much as possible to start a new year with less stuff and sometimes I do better and sometimes not so much  ;)

In the bright tube is Avon Life colour lotion by Kenzo Takada. It smells fruity but quickly it turned plastic-y. I wonder if I got a really old one? I definitely won't be buying it again or the perfume version even though I doubt that the scent is the same.
Colab makes lovely dry shampoos in my opinion. The aren't as strong as the Batiste ones but they are nice (I previously finished two bottles). This one is Tropical but it is not your typical coconut scent (unlike the Batiste Tropical which I despised) but it has Papaya and Peach in it. In my opinion one of the best ones and I will buy it again for sure but first I need to go through my extensive stash.
The last one is from Rituals and it is their The ritual of Hammam refreshing foaming shower gel with Eucalyptus and Rosemary. My sister is obsessed with this brand and especially with their shower foams. They are cool but I don't think they are worth the high price tag. This one is exceptionally minty and I like that in the shower, my sister knows me well. If I could find this cheaper I would get it again.

Avon comforting overnight massage foot cream with lavender was my long time companion. I had it for years and now it is finally over. It wasn't too greasy as the name would suggest but still I rather applied less. The lavender was a nice touch but I had better creams so I won't repurchase this one again.
The last item is this Dvorec Trebnik Marigold ointment. Well, this one is super greasy and it helped with my extra dry and cracked skin all over my body. It was nice having it around but now I'm using something else which is just as good.

Empties

Hello,

this round I have very little products at the finished line. I think that is simply because now I'm left with newer products which are still quite full and therefore harder to use up. I'm trying really hard to use up what I already have and purchase less so every used up product is a little victory on its own.
On the photo below I have some really lovely and some really awesome products.

Avon Today body souffle didn't have any special formula as the 'souffle' implies. Regular milkier lotion but I purchase it because of its scent. I was eyeing this perfume for a long time and I thought that purchasing lotion will make me decide if I really like the scent (I do like it a lot so I already own a perfume as well ;) To me it smells creamy, warm, flowery and a bit honey like. I loved coating myself with this scent and probably I will repurchase it soon.

Alkmene tea tree face wash is nothing new in my bathroom. I like its tea tree properties since I think it keeps my skin acne free. I use two pumps of product mix it with a bit of water and clean my face with it. It is great at removing my make up but it doesn't completely strip my skin. Plus it is on cheaper side  ;) Double win.

Batiste makes some of my favorite dry shampoos. This time around I used sweet & delicious Sweetie dry shampoo. As the name implies it does smell sweet and candy like but I didn't mind it, actually I wore it also as a perfume. Whenever I used it I skipped on my actual perfume because of its heavy fragrance, I honestly didn't need anything else. My favorite is still the Peony scent but this one comes close, I think there are some other versions that I would like to try next (anything but the Voluminous or Tropical ones since those two scents didn't suit me at all)

Second to last is this old bottle of Essence studio nails pro white glow base coat. It was slightly pink toned to help cover the yellow stained nails. The effect was so minimal that I don't think it was even worth it plus I never wear only clear nail polish so why I purchased it is still beyond me and this was actually the second bottle of it. In the future I think I will avoid tinted nail varnishes which promise covering the stained look simply because I don't need it.

The very last item is my beloved Catrice all matte plus shine control powder in Transparent shade. This is my third? one I think. It is very nice. It doesn't keep me matte for hours but what sets it apart is the fact that when I use it in the middle of the day (powdering my already oily face) it doesn't look all cakey or weird but it looks refreshed and matte, almost as if I redid my make-up. That is why I like it and the fact that it comes cheap helps a lot because I go through it quite fast, especially now in the hot Summer. I keep one more at work and then I'm out. I will try to use what I already have (Rimmel super famous powder and Maybelline fit me are already waiting to be used and I can't wait to see how they compare) and if they won't work I'm buying the Catrice one soon.

Empties

Hello,

it is time to check my 'trash' or if I say better my empty products. What I have loved and what not so much is shown below.

Avon bronzing multi stick in the shade Glowing Nude is getting pretty old. Avon suggest that you can use it on the eyes (too greasy for me and the color looks like someone punch me in the eye ;), on the cheeks (I loved it as a highlighter, I pretty much always blend the color out so much that I was only left with this amazing glow that I'm loving) or on the lips (amazing just as well, a bit of color and again this amazing shine, it remind me a bit of the old 90' style lip). I still think it is a lovely product but since it is getting old I have to get rid of it before it causes me some rash.

Next is a lovely toner from Milnica in the Rosemary version. The scent surprised me because it smells very herbal and fresh, a bit like tea tree oils do, not Rosemary like at all but it doesn't bother me. I refreshed and moisturized my skin and that is all that I should care (not to mention that the scent is something pleasant to my nose). I like it so much that I already repurchase it again. My only complaint is the big opening at the top and you can easily spill too much at once, other than that it is lovely. It does its job.

Another favorite of mine is Himalaya Neem Foaming face wash. I have used so many bottles of it and I will probably go through some more in the future. I like how it foams and thoroughly cleanses my skin. A definite repurchase.

The last item is L'oreal invisible dry shampoo in Sweet Fusion scent. I was interested in them ever since they came out with these fun looking bottles. I purchase two and this is the first one to go. The scent at first is a bit strong, powdery and floral but after some time it settles and it is not too distracting. My hair smelled so nice that on the days when I used it I didn't even use my perfume. The scents are intense so make sure you pick out the ones that you like but then again when you smell them from the bottle you can get the wrong idea, you have to spray them in your hair and let it sit for five minutes and then the 'real' scent develops. It is a bit white (don't let the 'invisible' claim fool you) but nothing a little shake can't fix it. I think these are lovely and if you can find them on sale I would highly suggest you to pick one to try it out.

The Body Shop wild Argan oil body butter was nothing but amazing. This scent was captivating and exactly what I like in a body moisturizer. Rich, creamy, a bit nutty and very warm, something you put on your clean body all over and it helps you sleep better. Very comforting and calming without any trace of lavender. Truly amazing and I would love to get more but I'm not so sure if it is still available.

For the last bit I have some lip products. I always try to use some up simply because I have so many and I'm constantly seen applying some.
First is the very last Essence Invisible Kiss transparent lip liner in Multitalent Wonder. I think this is my third one and since they don't make it anymore... but I bought some other one from Avon so I'm not left bare. I like to use clear because it suits every color and also I have noticed that the clear ones are more waxy, they smooth the lines and every lip product that I apply on top it just glides smoother and it also last longer, it doesn't affect the finish (some matte lip liners made the creamy lipstick more matte looking and I don't like that).

For Essence Cuddly Cushion lip gloss in Oily Glow I had some second thoughts. It smells lovely like honey, it is glosy but it doesn't last long (like 20 minutes and then I had to reapply), it is moisturizing but like I said constant reapplying is taking its toll. The applicator is also a bit big for my thin lips but what I was the most mad about is the amount that you get (1,5 ml, you use it maybe for a month and it is gone). I might buy some more if they will be on sale for 99 cents, otherwise never again, I would rather spent my 4 € on something else.

The very last item is Avon ultra glazewear shine burst lip gloss in the color Rose Splash. I think I purchased it shortly after I started with this blog and it was an interesting gloss. It is a bit thicker and creamier than most so it is not as shiny and juicy looking but instead it has plenty of pearl shimmer that gives that extra shine. This Rose Splash gloss was truly unique in my collection but it has time to go since the texture started to change.
