Glossaholic with Stay my Rose

 Hello,

these two are a bit of a throwback, one shade in particular holds special memory for me and my sister.

Rimmel Oh my gloss! lip glosses in Glossaholic and Stay my Rose. First one is shimmer free while second is packed with it and with a more sheer base color.

Doe applicators are longer and they carry a lot of product. Scent is barely there, almost non existent.

Glossaholic has milky pink base which at first looks a bit pale on me and it sinks into my lines but after five minutes it adapts and looks lovely. I wore this gloss at my sisters wedding and I even lend her my tube for her photos. At the end this gloss remained in my sisters purse because she loved it so much and this is now my second one. Nostalgia got me after so many years and I couldn't resist buying one more for my sister to remind her of her special day :)

Stay my Rose is more sheer in pigment but packed with sparkles which makes this gloss more glossy and shiny. Color is also a bit deeper and it does not need time to settle. I actually prefer this second shade on myself but on days when I prefer shimmer free option I reach for the first one.
There are some more shades from this Rimmel line that I am interested in and will probably get more but only after I use up some more glosses form my collection.

Come up Roses

 Hello,

I feel like I haven't tried anything from Rimmel in a long time so it is about time to show this lippie that I had since last year.

It is Rimmel lasting provocalips with longasting lip tint and hydrating lip balm on the other side in the option Come up Roses.

The tint is dark mauve with some shimmers which become even more obvious when it dries up.

Lip balm looks a bit cheap to me because the balm itself doesn't fill to the sides and it started to move around the tube a bit so I try to twist it up just a little bit everytime I use it.

Here they are freshly applied, colored tint looks very bold and pigmented and balm is just clear but shiny (here it almost looks like it has some golden color to it but it is just the light, it is completely clear).

Here the tint is completely dried and even here it looks dry. This one sucks all the life out of my lips. It visibly dries them, showcases every wrinkle and my lips even feel uncomfortably dry. While the formula is drying I must obtain all the lip smacking otherwise there will be uneven application as shown above in the middle.

On the bottom part of the tint I have applied a light layer of balm to show the color with some shine. The color seems to come to life and my lips instantly feel better. None of the products have any distinctive scent or taste.

This color is nearly impossible to sheer out (I tried but I only make it uneven) and on its own I find it to be too bold for my liking. I absolutely hate dry feeling and how it makes my lips feel. That being said I love the clear lip balm. It is hydrating and I started to use it in the morning after I get up and I start getting ready for the day.

I think I will only use up the balm and when it will be gone I am tossing this pack. It is just simply not my cup of tea.

Tahnk you for reading and have a nice day

Empties

 Hello,

in this and the last post I am showing quite a little selection of empties but there are a few more products that I would have used up if only I would have a few more days left... I reckon the next post will be overflown with empties.

First is another Balea body wash, this time it is Wild Rose and Peach scent, to my nose this one wasn't as good as the other one but still enjoyable. It is the same runny formula that doesn't foam and I just have a weird feeling washing with it, almost as if I would just be washing with water... I will not buy from this range again.

Next is Rosemary toner from Milnica. This one is quite old since I can't quite remember when was the last time I purchased form them. I used to love toners but now I find them almost unnecessary in my routine. I did pour it into a spray bottle and applied it while spraying it directly on my face (this way I avoided using cotton pads which absorb majority of the product) and I think it is okay but there were no big differences, I was just using it to use it up. I still have a few toners left and when I will finish them up I have no desires to buy more as of now.

Next is another product that I feel indifferent about. It is Afrodita's Hydrating gel cream with Coconut water. This is very watery and runny formula but still a little goes a long way, it does smell like sweet coconut. I didn't notice any big change in my skin while using it so I will not buy it again.

The very last item is my beloved Rimmel Stay Matte Transparent face powder. It is the right shade for me, it looks good applied over fresh make-up or as a touch up during a long day, it always make me look less shiny but it doesn't look caked. Truly a lovely powder for very cheap. I already have a few backups.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day

Project Polish

 Hello,

I think this will be the last project polish post for this year and since I went through 17 bottles and my collection downsized I call this a success.

First is this gorgeous light and bright shade from Essence and it is called Eclectic Blue. It was vivid and it made me smile. I'm a sucker for this type of blue and I already have a few similar shades already so no need to hunt down this shade.

Next is also from Essence and it is named Indigo to go, dark base with blue shimmer. Super pretty and sparkly when the sun or the right light shined on it, otherwise it looked pretty modest. I love these almost black shades which hide a little secret :)

Beside blue I also love a good black with a twist. This is Misslyn Universe which dried to a sand finish witch has to be my favorite finish. This brand is no longer available here but thankfully I have a similar shade from Avon ready to be used up next.

The last in a row is another Essence, this one called Glitter Choc. A lovely dark brown which again was only noticeable in a bright light, otherwise it looked black. I absolutely adored this shade and after I will finish more bottles I will try to find a substitute. The only issue I had with this one was a massive tip wear.

Ok, all of these aren't finished but I'm giving up on them for various reasons. I will give them to my sister so maybe she will get some use out of them.

First is a lovely looking Catrice Want to be my brightsmaid? shade. I thought that it will be a milky soft color for everyday but it applies a bit streaky and uneven and after three coats it looks ok but I have other shades that look similar in tone but look so much nicer after just two coats so I decided to part with it because I don't like how sheer and uneven this one is.

Next is super old Essence Mother earth is watching you shade. Neutral with a silver frost. I recently pulled it out and decided to play with it but I'm just over it, it no longer makes me happy so I will pass it on, the formula is still really nice.

I bought this Catrice Clarity nail polish this year thinking it will replaced my lovely Misslyn Beauty Natural but this one is a tad more nude/brown and it just didn't look right in my opinion. besides the color this one also formed tip wear the very next day and I just don't want to deal with it so I will give it away.

The last one is Rimmel Sweet Retreat which I bought to use on my toes years ago but I only used it now. There is nothing wrong with it but my taste simply changed and I don't want to wear such a bright pink, that is all.

My number of nail polishes is still high but every year I manage to bring the number down and can't wait to get to a more manageable sized 'collection' of nail varnishes.

Empties

 Hello,

I'm fresh from my Summer vacation and I feel super rejuvenated. I could finish up more than just two bottles of sun lotion but I was rotating among different tubes and that was all I could finish.

DM brand called Sun Dance makes affordable sun lotions and by my experiences very nice ones (they do protect my skin from UVB light because I don't burn ;). First is light sun lotion with SPF 20 with Coconut scent (very nice and tropical if I my add and it doesn't turn plastick-y). It is a mineral protection with Titanium Dioxide and because it is in nano particles it is not sticky or white. I actually really like it and because the protection is a bit lower as what I normally go for I layer it with something else and in this case I used another Sun Dance item. Sensitive sun lotion with calming Panthenol and with SPF 30. It contains the same mineral filter in nano particles but this one is a bit thicker and greasier for the first few minutes but after it sinks in I can't feel it at all. These two were with me last year already and I also came back from my vacation burn free and with a hint of tan. I will repurchase them again but I'm afraid that they revamped their range and have completely different range of products now...

Online I purchase this Jojoba oil from Dr. Feelgood brand that honesty I haven't herd of before. I really liked the packaging but the oil didn't feel quite right. I'm used to thicker oils and this one was extra thin. The good part was that it absorbed really fast and I used it as a moisturizer but I purchase it as an oil to remove my make-up and for that thicker texture is preferred. With this one I'm really on the fence because it isn't a bad product just not quite what I expected... and I'm not sure if I would repurchase it again.

Last two items are two face powders. First is Essence all about matt waterproof fixing powder which was available only in one white shade. This did gave me a bit of a white cast so I had to be careful when applying to prevent me from looking like Casper the ghost. I believe because the formula is waterproof it was extra drying so sometimes when applied over fresh, slightly sticky make-up it looked a bit cakey but the longer I had it on, the better it looked. Obviously, the illusion didn't last all day long (I have extremely oily skin) so after around four or five hours my natural oils would come through and I needed to touch up but it was better to use a different powder on top because this one looked too cakey. I'm glad that it is gone and I wouldn't repurchase it again even if it would still be available (I believe it is long discontinued).

The second is one of my favorite ones and it is Rimmel London Stay Matte in the shade Transparent. This one looks good applied over fresh make-up or reapplied through the day. The shade is great (but I also think that it doesn't have that much of coverage) and it is super inexpensive. I just ordered two more so I guess I can say that I love it :)

Empties

 Hello,

this time I will be super short and sweet :)

I finished this Dusch Das body wash in Magnolia scent. It is one of my favorites but I think next time I will try something else, a different scent. Right now I crave something extra fruity and refreshing. These are super inexpensive and I think they do the job properly.

Next is another oldie, it is Essence nail polish remover with Strawberry and Passion fruit scent. I had this one for so long that I wasn't able to pick up the scent, just regular acetone. This one is also very inexpensive and it does the job, so if it is still available I will repurchase it again.

In the glass bottle is Beauty Glam Hyaluronic Boost Serum. I like using this ingredient under creams and oils in the night time to make sure my skin locks up enough moisture especially when it feels a bit dry. I found this brand in our local store and they carry a few varieties. I am slowly trying them all and so far I haven't been disappointed.

The very last item is my tried and trusted Rimmel London Stay Matte powder in the shade Transparent. I finished up a few of them and I just keep coming back to it. I like how it sits on top of freshly applied make-up or after a couple of hours when my nose need some touchup, plus it doesn't cost an arm and a leg ;)

Empties

 Hello,

another empties post in a row. This has become the easiest post to write but also I had nothing new to talk about. That changed yesterday because I went shopping and bought a few new make-up bits. I wanted to get new face primer and along the way I got some more products...

Biobaza Bee Balm and I have two versions of them. Yellow is Ginger & Honey and purple one is Lavender & Vanilla. In my initial review I said that they are on the top three list of my favorite lip balms formula but now I seem like I changed my mind. I wore them in the cold weather and that is when I had some issues. It seem like this formula doesn't like cold weather because it gets all gunky, hard and sticky at he same time while on the lips, outside or indoors if it is too cold. That product buildup is not looking nice and it also feels 'uncomfortable'. If I ever repurchase these I will make sure to use them while it is warm but at the end I don't think I will. There are so many brands out there that I would like to try out...

Next is this lovely dry shampoo from Langhaar Mädchen which is already a repurchase. Affordable price with a lovely scent, somehow floral with a touch of power, barely any white residue and matte finish. This is neck to neck with the Batiste and I will buy more from both brands, I just wish LM would have more scents but this one that they have is amazing already, so...

Last are two face powders, one is my old time favorite and the other one I just finished up so I can throw it away. One of my favorites is Rimmel London Stay Matte face powder in Transparent. I went through a couple of them and I still have backups. I love how matte my face looks like and it holds my oils at bay for a few hours and then I just retouch and continue with my day.
The other one is Benecos Natural compact powder in the shade Porcelain. When I bough it it was the lightest shade available (maybe now they have shades for paler people but I haven't checked them out in a while). It was too dark for me but I would use it on my neck to help it match (my neck seems to appear lighter than my face so I use a tad lighter foundation on my face and a tad darker one on my neck and at the end my face and neck don't look like they belong to two different people ;)

Empties

 Hello,

it is the last day of August and for me it is time to showcase my empties. I have quite a few make-up related items and I'm super happy to finally see some of them being empty and gone.

From Dusch das I have this Magnolia body wash which I had previously and really liked the Magnolia scent. It is creamy and floral and I enjoy it a lot, plus it is very inexpensive. I have another backup but I will wait a bit and use something else in between.

Next is another body was and it is from Balea and it is their Raspberry and Rose body wash. This is also my second bottle ad this scent is one of my favorites but unfortunately it was only a limited edition so I can't get my hands on it anymore. I predominately used this as my shampoo, it was able to remove all of the residue (balms, oils and all kinds of sprays that I use on my hair) and made my hair super soft and clean.

Last is Victoria's Secret Mango Temptation body spray. I purchased it a couple of years ago and back then I loved the scent now I think it is just okay. I sprayed myself and my room with it daily to be able to finish it up. The scent was nice, creamy Mango but it faded way too fast for my liking. I have another scent from them and when I will finished it up, I probably won't buy more from them. I now use perfumes instead of body sprays.

I manged to use up two Rimmel London Stay Matte lightweight, mattifying powders in Transparent. I would use one in the morning at home and the other one I would keep at work for touch ups. This powder is really nice for my oily complexion because it keeps me matte for longer plus it doesn't look all cake-y applied on top of my make-up after a couple of hours. I already unpacked two new ones and are ready to be used.

Trend it Up face contouring set in all matte 010 shade (swatches are here). First pan held contouring cool toned powder which was my favorite even though I figure it out that I don't find contouring my face an essential step and I could easily drop this habit but since I have the product... If I would get this palette again I would get it only because of this perfect for my skin tone shade. Second was a super warm bronzer that I didn't exactly love. It is gone and now I can move to the more enjoyable shades. The very last pan was filled with a slightly yellow toned powder and was meant to be used to lightly highlight the high points of your face but since it matched my skin tone completely I used it as a face powder and I was done with it pretty fast. This palette is done and gone, I feel happy to be finished but I won't repurchase it.

This Avon SuperExtend Lenghtening mascara in Brown/Black shade is still one of my favorites. Plastic wand brushes through my lashes and separates them while the little fibres adds to the length. Very nice and it can look a bit dramatic without looking like a fake lash look. At the moment I'm using the Essence mascara that I enjoy very much but this will definitely get repurchased.

The only remaining cream highlighter is this Catrice dewy finish strobe to glow highlighter in the shade Space Queen, Silver Rose (heavy swatch below). It looked amazing on me but cream products are so hard to finish up before they turn so I used it also on my chest and arms, I tried really hard to finish it up this year so now I can 'finally' use my powder highlighters.

The very last item is this amazing Avon Always on Point eye liner in the color Molten Rose. This is completely finished and I couldn't get any more for a little swatch at the end. It was supposed to be rose gold but to me it was more of a bronze shimmery shade. I loved it on its own, especially on my lover lash line or over some darker color on top of my upper lid. So fun and quick to do. At the moment I have nothing to replace it but I would like to have something similar so I just might go shopping...

Next week I will finally be on a vacation and fingers crossed the weather will stick so I will be able to suntan (I will take a lot of sun protection with me), swim and read lots of books. This years vacation will be different from last years but hopefully I will relax and have some good time despite everything that is going on.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day

Smokey Brun & Millionaire

Hello,

nothing new just old eye shadows (I think i bough them two years ago and started testing them last month). It is fair to say that I completely forgot about them. They are from Rimmel London and are my first eye shadows from them. Of course I picked up the most boring neutrals but since that is pretty much all I wear it seemed right.

Rimmel Smokey Brun quad and Single shadow in Millionaire are the lucky ones on the photo.

It has four neutrals all with a slight shimmer closer to sateen finish than glitter and I really like the finish. The darker two have less of a shine while the last two shades, lighter ones sparkle a bit more.

This big single format shadow is that beautiful neutral toned brown with a sateen base with some little shimmer particles. It is not too sparkly but just enough to not be boring.

They swatch so-so, I had to layer the color and build the pigments up for the camera to pick it up. I don't mind that the shadows aren't super pigmented because I prefer lighter washes of color but the color can be intensified with layering. The single shadow has a better pigmentation than the quad tho.

If I start with the  top and the darkest shadow in the bunch it is quite of a dark brown with neutral undertone.
Next shadow is warm, fox brown. Very warm copper tone that I usually don't love but every time I put it on it makes my eyes appear more vibrant blue and that is something I like to do every once in a while. Not my favorite in the palette but nice enough to use.

The bottom shade is an off white color that could be really nice for highlighting my inner corners but I find it to be too close to my skin tone and it just doesn't pop enough.
The last shade has to be my favorite. Cream toned with almost a peach tone to it (especially when compared with the previous shade), it blends into my skin tone but it is the finish that makes it look so beautiful. If I put it all over the lid and add just mascara it creates a very simple look or I can layer it over darker shades to add some special effect, no matter which way I do it I always end up loving it.

This is the swatch of a single shadow and in the pan it looks pretty neutral but on my skin it still pulls a bit warmer but the shine is almost cool toned not gold as you might expect. This one doesn't have that much of a sparkle but more of an intense sheen. Very beautiful but I already have a few similar shades in my collection.

All in all these shadows aren't anything special. I already have similar colors and these don't layer that well on top of one another (if I apply it over the slightly sticky primer the color will stick and be bold, everything else I would layer on top would just dust off, they also blend one into another, specially the darker shades). They are seriously not the best ones out there and probably I won't buy more (unless I see something really special) but I will try to finish them up since I do like the shades.

Empties

Hello,

a lot has been going on lately and even though I still go to work I like to take time to just unplug and think about 'light' subjects such as make-up and cosmetics. It might look shallow but for me it is a stress relief and keeps me busy so I don't constantly think about what is going on in the world.
More than anytime I'm motivated to clean up and use what I already have, instead of shopping which is at the minimum and reduced to only food.
It is the end of the month and here are my empties for the last portion of March.

Catrice vitamin lip treatment in Born to be Wild-berry and Bohemian Raspberry, are my last two glosses from this lovely line. Slightly red tinted, just enough to make my lips healthy looking, glossy and juicy plus with a lovely Watermelon scent. I could not wish for anything more. I wish they will eventually bring them back or at least something similar because they were amazing.

Next is Catrice Dewy-ful lips, conditioning lip butte with shea butter in the shade Be You! Dew You!. I recently talked about it and I said that the shade is slightly too light for my liking but what really bothered me was a weird artificial scant that I couldn't bear. I kept it for a little while but I couldn't bring myself to wear it so I guess the only reasonable thing to do is to throw it away.

Last one is Rimmel London Oh my Gloss! with the name Ooh La La. It is bright red with pink undertone which also leaves lovely tint. The other day I wanted to use it but the scent turned and I'm pretty sure that it went bad so I'm throwing it into the trash.

Here I have Balea Raspberry and Rose body wash. I think this was a limited edition scent because when I picked it up (last year in Autumn) it was in the process of being discontinued and I managed to get two bottles of it. I will admit that the cute pug got my attention but upon smelling it I just knew I have to have it. There is something magical about Rose or Peony mixed with Raspberry in my opinion. To me this scent is absolutely intoxicating and if it would still be available I would get some more bottles of it.

Next is another body wash but with a different texture and it is Dove shower mousse with Rose oil. I also purcahsed it last year alongside with the Argan one. You see, my sister loves shower foams and I got it for her but since I was so curious I wanted one for myself. She is not too keen on Rose so I kept this one and it felt luxurious. The scent was light and the foam was extra thick. I absolutely love this formula and after the whole situation calms down and I will be in need for body washes I will see if they still have them.

The very last item is this little Nivea Soft multipurpose hydrating cream that I received in Advent calendar a couple of years ago. It is scentless and I used it all over my body, even on my face in the evening and my face didn't protest. The texture is light and it absorbs fast, in the future I can see myself repurchasing it again.

Empties

Hello,

I like this collection from Avon naturals Raspberry & Hibiscus (it smells really nice, just like if I rolled in Raspberries) and this is hair mist to just add the scent to the hair. Since I started to use perfumes regularly this started to get unnecessary. I started to use it after using dry shampoo to get rid of the white cast and it helped to prevent white residue. I'm happy that I found a way to use it and that it is finally used up. I will no longer buy it because there is no need for it but I will for sure buy the shampoo and the conditioner from the same line.

Next is this Aveo Harmony hand cream that my mom gifted to me. It has a lovely scent of Violets and the formula isn't that bad. I still prefer the Avon Care hand creams but this is also very nice formula and they always have plenty of different scents to pick from. It helped to prevent dry skin and nourish my hands, you only have to be careful not to apply too much because then it won't absorb and your hands will be left all sticky.

This dry shampoo was an impulse purchase a while ago. It is from 'new' brand Langhaar Mädchen. They have lovely packaging and I also tried (smelled) their hair oil and it smells delicious but I decided that I don't need it at the moment but instead I got myself this dry shampoo and I could not be happier. The scent is kind of hard to describe it is very soft powdery-floral but it still makes a punch but the formula is what makes this one great. It has a very light white effect and when you shake or comb your hair they just look matte (what you wanted) and it doesn't change the color that much which is an absolute bonus. If I compare it to the popular Batiste they have more scents and are stronger but also the white cast is more obvious with the Batiste brand. So if you want something barely there go for this Langhaar Mädchen brand but if you prefer to switch out the scents then go with the Batiste. I think I will still buy from both brands (I can't forget the Batiste Peony scent but I prefer the formula of LM brand).

Next tube is the sad one :( In the past I have already used one and since I liked it so much I bought a set of this lotion and the fragrance. Unfortunately I have waited too long and this lotion went bad. It is Avon Perceive body lotion. The scent is powdery white flowers. Like clean cotton shirt that has been dried outside on the white flowers field, if that makes sense. I still have the 30 ml bottle of the perfume and for now that will have to be it. For a while now I'm not planing on buying new lotions since I have so many but if my taste won't change after I go through what I have I will probably buy it again but then I will make sure to use it up completely shortly after getting it.

Another Avon Perceive product and this one is the Oasis fragrance. To me it smelled like fresh cut Roses. Scent of Roses mixed with green notes, like a fresh cut bouquet. I used to really like scent like that but now I prefer something heavier and sweeter. I have been layering it and also using it as a room spray.

Another fragrance will leave my space and this one I liked even better than the one before. It is Avon Passion Fruit scentini fragrance. I know they have a bunch of these and they encourage you to buy more and layer them. I had quite a lot of them but at my recent decluttering I gave all of them away and kept only this fruity one. It is called Passion Fruit and that is how it smells like. Very fruity and at first it is also very strong. It doesn't have that much citruses added so it is not zingy but on a creamier side. Even though I'm not into super fruity scents this one still warm up my heart.

The very last items is this Rimmel London Stay Matte face powder in Transparent. After trying it a couple of times I fell in love with it and soon I found them on sale and bought a bunch of them as backups (I think I have five or six more ;). It performs very well on my oily skin. I like how it keep my natural oils at bay for longer and even when I reapply it at work it doesn't look cakey. Those two reasons are enough for me to go and buy multiples. I still love my Catrice all matt face powder but I got this Rimmel one for less  ;)

Shopping

Hello,

I feel like I haven't done a 'big' shopping spree in a long time and I sort of missed that. I really didn't need anything but I just wanted to splurge a bit. None of the items are expensive but buying too many unnecessary items at once is a splurge, at least for me.

First I grabbed this set (I'm pretty sure it was left from the Winter season) of Neutrogena concentrated hand cream and their lip balm (I borrowed this hand cream once from coworker and I like it a lot and lip balm is just an added bonus ;).
I haven't heard about this Malibu brand before but they have a lot of SPF lotions (maybe next Summer). To try something out I decided to get the lip balm trio. I'm excited for high SPF and different scents. One is Watermelon, the other is Vanilla and I think my favorite will be the Mint one.

And for the last I saved the makeup bits. First has to be the Maybelline color sensational Pink for me lipstick and hydra extreme lipstick in Desert Bloom. I didn't really need any more lipsticks (my collection is pretty large and I'm trying to downsize it...) good luck with that, right?
Next is Rimmel stay matte face powder in Transparent shade. I heard so much good stuff about it that I just had to try it out and see why everyone loves it.
The very last item is gorgeous Essence melted chrome eye shadow (I already have the silver one and I love it) in Zinc about you. In one of the stores I have already saw big mark downs on some of the items and these chrome shadows were among them. I quickly grabbed the most beautiful shade and run with it. I tried to check online but can't find the full list of products from Essence that will leave us. Did you find it? Let me know because I'm curious to see what else will be leaving us.

Empties

Hello,

for the last time this year here are my empties.

Avon glycerin hand and nail cream is hands down my favorite one and I have been through so many tubes of it already that I don't even know if it has any sense to talk about how amazing it is.

Avon naturals milk and honey is another hand cream that came to an end but besides of its lovely scent it didn't convince me. The texture can be too greasy if I applied too much but otherwise it didn't handle my dry skin. To me it was pointless and I won't repurchase it again.

Another Avon tube and it isn't the last one  ;) this one is from the Planet SPA line and it is the  Caribbean Escape face massage mask with crushed pearls and algae extract. I know that that description doesn't sound appealing but it smells divine. Very comforting, creamy and luxurious. This mask has some scrub particles in it but they don't do much since they are so sparse but the moisture is real. I can feel the layer on my skin even after washing it off and it lightly moisturize my skin. I like it but not so much to repurchase it.

Avon foot works exotic paradise exfoliating scrub with coconut scent. I usually get these foot works scrubs because they are packed with scrubbing particles but I use them on my face with very little pressure so I don't damage my skin and because I really think that they work and are super cheap I will continue buying them but this one disappointed me a bit. I feel like it wasn't so very scrubby.

Afrodita Great Burdock hair oil is another repurchase of mine and I got all of my close ones hooked on. Seriously, if you want your hair to grow use this one two or three times and you will thank me later.

Rimmel Oh my Gloss! oil tint in the shade Master Pink was something I was working on it for a while. I checked what I have written in my initial review and I still agree with it. The texture is a bit thin and it goes away a bit too fast for my taste. After a longer period of time I find out that it isn't very nourishing and honestly I have other oils and glosses that comfort my lips and gives them plenty of shine so I won't buy it again.

Catrice luxury Lips intensive care gloss oil in the color Revolution-berry lips. It was the most 'pigmented' out of the bunch and therefore my favorite. It gave my lips a  nice flush and it did manage to moisturize them. For me this formula was much much better than the Rimmel one I talked previously.

This Lily Lolo mineral concealer in the shade Blondie is super duper old (they have different packaging now for instance). I don't know how people can use this all over their faces because on me it this was very drying and it made me look much older (wrinkles got more pronounced and dry patches emerged) but I found some use for it. Whenever I got a pimple I would brush a bit all over that little sucker and it dry it down while wearing make-up. I only had to be careful because the color was a smidge light for me but some face powder dusted all over fixed it. Even though it was nice for my acne or the opposite, my acne were afraid of it I won't buy it again.

The very last item is Essence Hello Autumn TE multicolored powder in Autumn & the city. It had four different golden/beige/brown shades and sometimes I picked some specifically and used them on my eyes but if I just swirled all of them together it created a nice golden highlighter, if I proceeded to pack it on the slight brown base showed and it looked like a glowy bronzer. I liked that versatility but through the years I found better products and this one more and more started to look like a glitter on the skin. I think it dried so the only solution that I came up with was to smash it and mix it in with different hair sprays so my hair can shine like they deserve it  ;)

Lipstick declutter

Hello,

I am in a serious declutter mode and that goes for all material aspects of my life. I'm constantly giving away bronzers, blushes, highlighters, eye shadows... never in bulk but just one or two every week or so but this time I attacked my lipstick 'collection' and I was surprised at how many of them ether went bad or I just don't like the color or formula on me, so I decided to pile them up and have one bigger declutter on my blog.

Yep, that is ten full sized lipsticks that I'm parting from.

Essence Longlasting Wear Berries!, Maybelline Color Sensational faint for Fuchsia, Rimmel Moisture renew Sheer & Shine Glow-rious Pink, Essence Sheer & Shine Candy Love, Avon Mark Rose Kisses, Avon Indulgence Tawny Rose, Avon Ultra Color Latte, Avon Ultra Color Tempered, Avon Ultra Color Rich Country Rose, Essence Next Stop: Summer Wish I was a Mermaid lipsticks.

Essence Longlasting Wear Berries! was a lipstick that I wanted to buy ever since they came out and everyone was praising them. The formula is really amazing but unfortunately I picked this darker, bolder shade that I maybe wore three times. Thankfully I picked up another more wearable shade before they discontinued them.

Maybelline Color Sensational Faint for Fuchsia was an impulse purchase. I think I got it at the 30% off sale and there weren't that many shades to choose. Again I really like the longlasting formula but a bright cool toned pink just isn't something I would wear often. I think I will check their stand in the future to find something more natural looking because I think that the formula is really nice.

Rimmel Moisture renew Sheer & Shine Glow-rious Pink was a lipstick I bought last year in November but I only recently tried it. I liked the sheer & shine claim and I picked a soft neutral pink but the first time I put it on my lips something was off. A minute after application I got a bitter taste in my mouth that came from that lipstick. I don't know if that is something 'normal' or it went bad but ether way I'm tossing it after wearing it a minute and a half, such a waste of my money.

Essence Sheer & Shine Candy Love has a similar line name as the Rimmel one and on the swatch it does look super glossy. This one was one of my top favorites so I'm extra angry at myself for not being able to just use it up before it went bad (gunky texture made it unusable). I have loved everything about it, I even got my mom hooked on but the 'new' Color up! Shine On! line is very similar in texture but I don't think they have a similar shade available (I hope they will come up with something similar in January, fingers crossed  ;).

Avon Mark Rose Kisses is something I purchased immediately after they released this line and after the first application I knew that this is not something for me. It is very pigmented and creamy which is a good thing but I just personally don't like super pigmented lipsticks and on top of that I even don't like the shade that much. Whenever I put it on I just couldn't prepare myself to leave the doors wearing it so I think it is time to part with it.

Avon Indulgence Tawny Rose is a line of skinny tall bullets. I had two other bright pinks but I got rid of them already because I wasn't wearing them. This one on the other hand is one of my favorites. On me it looks more pink than nude and the formula is very nourishing. I don't think they are still available but if I could find it I would get it again.

Avon Ultra Color Latte is an oldie but a godie. For a long time this was my favorite nude and I actually wore it quite a lot but for the past two years I really can't remember when was the last time I used it. Now I prefer to wear more light pink shades and this one got overlooked. It is really old so it must to go but if I will feel the need to wear a nude I will get it again.

Avon Ultra Color Tempered is another one from the same collection but this particular shade was a limited edition. I did wore it a bit but then I left it in the dark and never picked it up. It has the same amazing texture (buildable coverage, creamines, slight sheen and lovely lasting power) but the shade seems a bit too light, too pastel for me so I will get rid of it.

Avon Ultra Color Rich Country Rose is another one with the same texture except mine is an older packaging. This shade is still available and it still looks the same. It is an amazing bright red with unique silver sheen. My favorite but I wear it so rarely and this packaging is a constant reminder that it is way too old.

Essence Next Stop: Summer Wish I was a Mermaid lipstick is a color changing lipstick. In the bullet it looks green but on the lips it is just clear and then it slowly starts to get a bit of a peach hue. Very very faint but I used it mostly as a lip balm bu the last time I saw how weird the color looks like. On the bottom is almost white and then it starts to get gradient and the top is dark green. I know that it was even when it was new and approximately a month ago it still was. I'm scared that it might went bad so for the sake of my health I'm tossing it away.

Here they are all swatched and since there are mostly pink tones I can see a nice variety in shades and tones, at least I don't have gazillion lipsticks all in one shade  ;)

Wear Berries! is the darkest and the most dramatic. I think that it looks nice on me but if I'm not in the right mindset with enough confidence then it is pointless to wear such an attraction pulling shade.

Faint for Fuchsia is the boldest and coolest of the bunch. I usually just dab it on to get more of a stain and not so much color but still I didn't wear it that whole much.

Rimmel's Glow-rious Pink was the biggest disappointment because I only put it on once and I loved the shade and sheen, it felt moisturizing but then it started to get bitter so I wiped it off and now it is going into the trash bin.

Next is Candy Love which is lighter but just as creamy. I love it and when they were discontinuing it I wanted to grab as many back up as possible, at the end I only got one and I gave it to my mom who used it all up.

Rose Kisses is deeper rose borderline rusty red and I' m just not into shades like that. The pigmented formula is also something I'm not too comfortable with so I was never really interested in picking more shades.

Tawny Rose is such a lovely neutral pinky-nude shade with amazing moisturizing formula. It is such a shame that I can't find it anymore because I would get it in a heartbeat and this time I would finish it.

Latte is more brown toned nude which can look very striking or monochromatic. Like, I mentioned this was my favorite nude which says a lot because I normally don't go for nude and now I only have one more nude which is way more sheer and I use it instead of a lip balm.

Tempered looks so alive and pretty here. I kind of want to take it out and use it but I know that this particular lighter shade clashes with my natural lip shade and it just doesn't look the best on me. I think that my sister who is paler and has less pigmented lips could rock it.

I could not get a nice shot of Country Rose. The silver sheen just doesn't photograph well. There isn't any shimmer or glitters but that special shine that when you apply it all over the lips it looks like you have done much more (lined, and used at least two different shades with some gloss in the center of the lips, if this would be brown it would remind me of the 90's lip, maybe the new Luminous Velvet lipsticks will be similar ). I wish they would make more shades with this kind of finish because it is spectacular.

Color changing Wish I was a Mermaid lipstick is the very last one and I waited approximately 5 minutes for the color to form but it is still too faint to really see it. On the swatch it just looks glossy and that is mostly how it looked on my lips.

They will all be trashed since their old age and now I'm looking forward to rediscover the rest of my lipsticks and I will try to finish as many as possible next year to really get down my number.

Ohh La La & Glossaholic

Hello,

Rimmel is one of those brands that fly very low on my radar. I was excited when they came into our drugstores but I seem to always walk past their shelves and even when I pause I rarely buy anything. These glosses were given to me, I checked them out in the store before but I always left them alone.

So, they are Rimmel Oh my gloss! in Ohh La La and Glossaholic shades.
The packaging is interesting because of the twisted tube which is the same as it is with their oils.

They have a rather above the average long doe foot applicator but they are easy to use and I can easily get enough product out of the tube and evenly disperse it all over my lips.
They have a very slight plastic-y scent which I can detect when I get the product out but when it is on the lips it is gone. That scent is the reason why I never picked them out. In the store I always open lip product samples and sniff them when in reality I just apply them on the lips and if the scent isn't strong I am not bothered.

The Ohh La La shade looks bright red in the tube but on the lips it is rather hot pink and it is even more obvious after the shine is gone and my lips are left with a really nice and even pink stain.

The Glossaholic is a different bird. In the tube it looks like a soft pink but on the lips it is almost clear. If I apply a bit more or after reapplying it the color shows up but in a very nice non invasive way (no sinking into the fine lines, if you get it out of the lip line it is not obvious...), what I'm trying to say is that it is very easy to wear and it goes well with everything even with a wedding gown. Recently my sister got married and on her big day she forgot her lip gloss at home and I had this baby with me so I gave it to her and she loved it so much that I decided to just let her have it. In person it looked lovely and even on photos it looks naturally shiny and so very beautiful and natural.

The red/pink color will take me some time to go through but I'm definitely buying the Glossaholic for myself as well. You just can beat soft, natural glossy lip that feel comfortable and stays hydrated (seriously my and her lips were soft through the entire night). Next time when I will be in the store I will definitely check the other shades as well but I'm pretty sure we don't have all 11 shades available.

Master Pink

Hello,

Rimmel London has been present in Slovenia for a couple of years now and I feel like I haven't explore much from them. Since I am a huge fan of lip glosses and lip oils are just more nourishing and a little thinner version I was bound to love them. When I saw them on Rimmel stand I couldn't resist in buying one.

Rimmel Oh my Gloss! oil tint in the shade Master Pink is the one I bought. On their website I can see six shades but I think here we only have four to choose from.

It feels a bit thinner than the lip gloss but it doesn't run down your chin if that is something you're scare about.

The applicator is big/long and on one side very wide, on the sides it is thin. It is very easy to use and it carries enough product for one set of lips.

Very unusual applicator, like a vessel on a boat but it works.

It has a nice brand embossing on the silver cap, the bottle is slightly twisted which also makes it unique in my collection. The plastic bottle is not see through which is another unusual feature (I prefer my liquid lip products to have clear packaging so I know where I am) I have also noticed that the cap started to leak a bit. I don't carry it around in my purse. I have it at home standing tall but some of the product still manages to get spilled, not much but still enough to annoy me.

At first this shade is very milky pink and it looks a bit light on my lips but if I wait like 10-15 min the stain kicks in and tints my lips a bit deeper, more rosy and the glossy sheen stays for another 30 minutes or so.
The shine as I said fades very soon but the pink stain leaves my lips nicely flushed.

I tried to take photos of my lips but none of them turned out nice so for now there are only arm swatches. On the lips it looks a little deeper (it also depends from your natural color, if your lips are deeper or more red toned at first it will look very weird but if you wait it will stain them nicely with a deeper pink which will suit you). I think the stain color turns out to be very nice and even but you have to spare some 15 min to turn it out great (I do my eye make up and I get dressed and by then my lips look great). I like it but I wish that the gloss would stay on for longer so I think I prefer the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain (Rimmel Master Pink is lighter and brighter than the Revlon Honey one). I am not comparing the shades since they are different but the formulas, Revlon one doesn't have a glossy look to it but if I wait around 15 min to really set I can apply regular clear gloss on top which last longer and so I get nicely stained lips with plenty of shine.

I checked the other available shades and none of them convinced me to buy more. I'm glad that I tried it out and for sure I will finish it up but I won't be repurchasing it.
