Empties

 Hello,

a little late, out of my regular schedule but nonetheless back with my empties list. It is short but sweet.

First is body wash from Dusch Das in my longtime favourite Magnolia scent. I went through countless of these and slowly I'm getting sick of this scent but I get nostalgic every once in a while. These are very inexpensive and they have a wide range of different scants to pick from, I will probably get more in the future and this particular Magnolia scent as well.

Purple bottle is limited edition Balea Golden Moon perfumed deodorant. I wanted to get the lotion (I did found one last tube) and while I was there already I also got myself this deodorant because of the lovely scent. It is a spot on Mugler Alien scent and I fell in love with it. This deo is not the best and I just layer it over my 'regular' deodorant, I have another bottle and when it is gone it is gone. I will not get it again because they aren't for me but the scent is really nice and what got me in the first place.

Last is Pflanzen Kosmetik von Mueller Wild Rose oil. I mostly used it for removing my make-up, occasionally as a moisturiser as well. It is also very inexpensive and already on my to buy list. I think it does the job, just like any other more expensive Rose oil that I have tried.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day

Empties

 Hello,

it fells like the year has just started and the first month is already gone... so fast. The end of the January also make a lot of my favorite items come to an end.

Nivea deo beauty elixir deomilk for sensitive skin has become my staple. I love this formula but I have always got it in the sensitive version (there are more) but I have a feeling they are discontinuing them because I can't find them :( I would repurchase it immediately if I could find it. It is an antiperspirant but I still sweat through, just my sweat now smells nice ;) It has creamy and neutral scent and that is the best. It doesn't interfere with my perfume but keeps me fresh and clean smelling all day long. I will miss it a lot.

Dusch Das Grapefruit & Ginger body wash was a pleasant surprise. I'm not a huge fan of Ginger but in here it wasn't too sharp, just clean and refreshing. I'm definitely buying it again.

My favorite foundation is from Catrice and it is their HD liquid coverage foundation in the shade Light Beige. I figure it out that not only this formula works for me (mattifying but not to the point of making me look dry, buildable coverage so I can choose to wear it thin on my good skin days or pack some more to cover some nasty red spots) and the shade is pretty perfect. I also have a lighter shade named Light Porcelain but it is too light for me, so now I just mix them together and hopefully I will be able to use up a lighter shade as well (unfortunately I bought two more bottles of the lighter shade by a mistake, ups).

The last is my beloved mascara which is sadly discontinued. It is Avon Super Extend Extreme mascara in black. It was great for combing through my lashes and make them super long (it has fake fibers which would actually elongate my lashes). It made me look like a doll and I loved it for that. Unfortunately I can't find it anymore but the original one in a black tube is still available. I know I had it and I liked it a lot but I loved this one in a yellow tube so much more that I have never went back and use the original one. Thankfully Avon makes a lot of different ones and I'm sure I will find something just as amazing.

Empties

 Hello,

I finished plenty of items just before 2021 ended so there is no surprise that this time around I don't have that many...

First top product is my beloved Alverde Rose face oil. I love the packaging with a precise pipette and product works for me. I still notice after using this oil for a couple of days in a row my skin is less red and more even in tone. I already have a new bottle ready to use up.

Big pot is The Body Shop Mediteranean Almond Milk with Oats, Instant Soothing Face Mask. This smells great, that is the best feature for me. The formula was a bit thick and oat particles were still visible. Honestly I didn't see much of a difference after using it. My skin definitely didn't hate it but also there wasn't any magical result visible. I won't repurchase this mask but maybe I will try some other mask from the brand.

Next is another The Body Shop item and it is their Almond Milk & Honey Soothing & Restoring body lotion for sensitive skin. This smells similar to the mask but even better. This helped me sleep like a baby at night. It is just such a comforting scent and I will definitely repurchase it again but at the moment I'm on a no buy for lotions because I have way too many.

The very last product is Dusch das Magnolia body wash. I stopped counting how many of these I finished already. The brand makes very inexpensive body washes and this scent is lovely. I always grab one of these at the store, I just can't resist. At the moment I don't think I have a back up but since I have plenty of different ones I'm not stressed but after I finish some more I'm getting this one again.

Empties

Hello,

this mid of the month came out of nowhere. Time really is flying...

First is Dusch das Peach body wash which was super cheap but the scent was really nice. Very realistic Peach and it lather nicely, this gave me really nice experience and in the future I will repurchase it again.

I had this conditioner for a couple of years before I started to use it and the sticker at the back suggest that it was a gift with purchase. Honestly, I don't even remember when I got it. It is Nivea hairmilk care conditioner for dry and damaged hair. It has a thicker formula which coats hair nicely. I never left it in my hair for too long because I get bored in the shower but the results were still there. My hair looked and felt smoother and softer. At the moment I'm contemplating on cutting them short because they are really split but whenever I use this conditioner (I started to use it after every single wash) my hair looks lovely and people started giving me compliments on how great my hair look (they were never that spit and damaged but somehow they look the best and I have to thank this product). The only thing is that this particular one got discontinued but I found another one in a similar styled tube but it is light pink with almost the same ingredients list and it works just as good. This is my holy grail product and I hope to buy it again and again (in the new pink tube).

First I got a hand cream from this line and the scent was so soothing that I had to get the body moisturizer as well. At the end I decided to get this Avon care revitalizing with banana body butter. It has a slight banana scent which it the best. I don't smell like a banana peel ;) It is comforting and soothing, perfect for going to bed. The texture was a bit thicker because it is butter but it sink in really fast and it kept my skin nourished all the way. This will definitely be repurchased.

Bioderma sensibio AR cream for sensitive skin was a blast from the past. I remember having this years ago and it really worked but I remember this having thicker texture... Anyway, it is a light cream which with constant use reduces overall redness on my face. It is a slow progress but now, after finishing the entire tube the result is like night and day. My face is more even and has a skin tone like shade with only a slight pink hue. This is a big improvement and a really good product. Similarly also Rose oil works for me but I noticed that I'm moving away from oils (I still have them and use them but maybe not as much as I used to). This is a miracle product for me and I already purchased two backups :)

The very last item is Malinca Tea Tree hydrolat. I'm not sure if this does anything for me but the mist is soo fine that I will reuse this bottle for some other products. It has a strong Tea Tree scent which to me is calming and soothing (I noticed in the past that Tea Tree infused skincare helped with my acne prone skin, so now when I smell it it reminds me of clear skin ;)  Maybe now, I will see the difference... now when I can't use it anymore? If my skin will get worse I will repurchase it but otherwise I won't.

Empties

 Hello,

this time I will be super short and sweet :)

I finished this Dusch Das body wash in Magnolia scent. It is one of my favorites but I think next time I will try something else, a different scent. Right now I crave something extra fruity and refreshing. These are super inexpensive and I think they do the job properly.

Next is another oldie, it is Essence nail polish remover with Strawberry and Passion fruit scent. I had this one for so long that I wasn't able to pick up the scent, just regular acetone. This one is also very inexpensive and it does the job, so if it is still available I will repurchase it again.

In the glass bottle is Beauty Glam Hyaluronic Boost Serum. I like using this ingredient under creams and oils in the night time to make sure my skin locks up enough moisture especially when it feels a bit dry. I found this brand in our local store and they carry a few varieties. I am slowly trying them all and so far I haven't been disappointed.

The very last item is my tried and trusted Rimmel London Stay Matte powder in the shade Transparent. I finished up a few of them and I just keep coming back to it. I like how it sits on top of freshly applied make-up or after a couple of hours when my nose need some touchup, plus it doesn't cost an arm and a leg ;)

Empties

 Hello,

another quick empties post in a row ;)

I'm crushing these lately but that is just how it goes sometimes.

First is this amazing The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet for all skin types. They have different versions (different types of creams and gel formula), the only one that I tried it this sorbet and I can't find it online!!! Oh, no. :(  I really like the super light texture which absorbs super quick and leaves my skin nicely hydrated without greasy feeling. I love super hydrating formulas which feels so lightweight on my face and it is such a shame if it is really gone but I will try out the gel one, maybe it will feel similar?

Next is another used up bottle of my favorite foundation, Catrice HD Liquid Coverage foundation in the shade Porcelain Beige. Great color match, buildable coverage (enough to cover most of my acne scars without any additional concealer), matte feeling and it lasts for hours, did I mention that it is also very inexpensive? This is simply the best one for me.

e.l.f. makeup fixing spray is the next to go. I was super curious of this brand because it looks like everyone loves them and the prices are okay. I went with this fixing spray which is nice but the sprayer on it is a bit weird and dare to say defected. It didn't leak, it just sprays sideways... very weird and I'm not sure if I will get a new one just because of the funky sprayer.

Such a cheapy but a very nice one, in my opinion. It is Dusch Das Pomegranate body wash. I don't mind using inexpensive body wash, as long as it lathers I'm good. I also loved the fresh fruity scent, I feel like I could never get sick of it and after I'm done with what I'm using right now I'm getting this one again.

The very last one is another body wash but this one is quite different. It is Ziaja Cookies 'n' Cream body wash. A bit milkier and creamier by the scent. This smells just like a vanilla ice cream in a cone. So very yummy but I got sick of it real fast. It is very sweet and at first I liked that after a month I had to bring out the Pomegranate one to switch it up and refresh. It is a nice scent but it started to smother me after a while and I won't be getting a new bottle of it anytime soon if ever.

Empties

 Hello,

it is the last day of August and for me it is time to showcase my empties. I have quite a few make-up related items and I'm super happy to finally see some of them being empty and gone.

From Dusch das I have this Magnolia body wash which I had previously and really liked the Magnolia scent. It is creamy and floral and I enjoy it a lot, plus it is very inexpensive. I have another backup but I will wait a bit and use something else in between.

Next is another body was and it is from Balea and it is their Raspberry and Rose body wash. This is also my second bottle ad this scent is one of my favorites but unfortunately it was only a limited edition so I can't get my hands on it anymore. I predominately used this as my shampoo, it was able to remove all of the residue (balms, oils and all kinds of sprays that I use on my hair) and made my hair super soft and clean.

Last is Victoria's Secret Mango Temptation body spray. I purchased it a couple of years ago and back then I loved the scent now I think it is just okay. I sprayed myself and my room with it daily to be able to finish it up. The scent was nice, creamy Mango but it faded way too fast for my liking. I have another scent from them and when I will finished it up, I probably won't buy more from them. I now use perfumes instead of body sprays.

I manged to use up two Rimmel London Stay Matte lightweight, mattifying powders in Transparent. I would use one in the morning at home and the other one I would keep at work for touch ups. This powder is really nice for my oily complexion because it keeps me matte for longer plus it doesn't look all cake-y applied on top of my make-up after a couple of hours. I already unpacked two new ones and are ready to be used.

Trend it Up face contouring set in all matte 010 shade (swatches are here). First pan held contouring cool toned powder which was my favorite even though I figure it out that I don't find contouring my face an essential step and I could easily drop this habit but since I have the product... If I would get this palette again I would get it only because of this perfect for my skin tone shade. Second was a super warm bronzer that I didn't exactly love. It is gone and now I can move to the more enjoyable shades. The very last pan was filled with a slightly yellow toned powder and was meant to be used to lightly highlight the high points of your face but since it matched my skin tone completely I used it as a face powder and I was done with it pretty fast. This palette is done and gone, I feel happy to be finished but I won't repurchase it.

This Avon SuperExtend Lenghtening mascara in Brown/Black shade is still one of my favorites. Plastic wand brushes through my lashes and separates them while the little fibres adds to the length. Very nice and it can look a bit dramatic without looking like a fake lash look. At the moment I'm using the Essence mascara that I enjoy very much but this will definitely get repurchased.

The only remaining cream highlighter is this Catrice dewy finish strobe to glow highlighter in the shade Space Queen, Silver Rose (heavy swatch below). It looked amazing on me but cream products are so hard to finish up before they turn so I used it also on my chest and arms, I tried really hard to finish it up this year so now I can 'finally' use my powder highlighters.

The very last item is this amazing Avon Always on Point eye liner in the color Molten Rose. This is completely finished and I couldn't get any more for a little swatch at the end. It was supposed to be rose gold but to me it was more of a bronze shimmery shade. I loved it on its own, especially on my lover lash line or over some darker color on top of my upper lid. So fun and quick to do. At the moment I have nothing to replace it but I would like to have something similar so I just might go shopping...

Next week I will finally be on a vacation and fingers crossed the weather will stick so I will be able to suntan (I will take a lot of sun protection with me), swim and read lots of books. This years vacation will be different from last years but hopefully I will relax and have some good time despite everything that is going on.

Empties

Hello,

cold weather and some snow announce true Winter. I don't like this season but since I'm an optimist I do anything to make me feel better. I light up my fireplace, warm up some hot chocolate, bundle up on couch with some books... I would do pretty much anything until reality strikes me and I have to embrace the cold and go to work  ;)

I think that the name of the brand is Roberts and it is their Rose water/toner. Mine is just a sample bottle that I received when I bought the full size (I gave it to my mom and she loves it). I feel in love with it after first use, it is rose scented which is already a big plus for me but it also feels moisturizing and a great companion for my make-up. I pour it in a spray bottle and use it over my make-up and it just makes it better. It is quite hard to explain but I can see a difference to the better. My skin afterwards isn't to dewy just hydrated and healthy looking. Now I'm using something else but I'm buying the big bottle next (one for me and one for my mom).

Dusch das is a very cheap brand that makes body washes. I remember a couple of years when I went on a vacation with my parents and we completely forgot to take a body wash with us so we found this one in a local market and the Magnolia scent charmed me. It is nothing too special but this scent take me places, I probably won't buy other scents but this one for sure I will.

Green Pharmacy products were on my list for a long time so when I was running low on micellar water I purchase this tall bottle. It is gentle on my skin but unfortunately also on make-up. I wash my face with face wash and as a last step I soak cotton pad with some micellar water to remove any bits of foundation or eyeshadow left but this one just couldn't handle it. I won't be buying it again.

Biotherm recovery face gel intense hydration prolong your tan gel was something I purchased at the beginning of this Summer. For its claims to prolong your tan you have to have some tan to begin with ;)   I used it as a night time moisturizer and it didn't disappoint. It feels like an ordinary aloe gel but way more hydrating. I didn't even need to top it off with oil or heavier cream, this lightweight gel was completely enough. It is a stellar product but the packaging has its flaws. On the photo you can't see but the straw doesn't reach all the way till the bottom so I was not able to get the last bits of product out (it was expensive so I would really like to dig everything out), I thought of taking scissors or knife but knowing how clumsy I am I would rather keep all of my fingers so I'm tossing this pretty hard plastic bottle away even though that there is still some amazing product left.

I finally decided to try the only mascara that my sister uses and she swears by. It is Avon Supershock mascara (I have used up a couple of tubes of the Supershock Max and loved it). This one is its big sister and it is gorgeous. Big brush my look scary at first but the plastic bristles combs through every lash. It can look very natural (it individualize and lengthen every single lash) with two coats it still doesn't look clumpy but a bit more dramatic (not in a false lash kind of way). I fell in love with it and I'm definitely buying it again.

The next mascara is from Catrice and it is The little black one in waterproof version. Compared to the Avon brush this one is tiny. It is very wet and if I didn't wipe it really well it made a big mess. With this one I had to take an extra step to remove the excess and slowly build it up but once it was on it looked quite dramatic and nothing could ruin it (it survived my sisters wedding day). Still, I wouldn't repurchase it but I would rather get their Lashes to Kill mascara next.

Missha perfect cover BB cream in the shade 13 was something I bought ages ago. A couple of years I was only wearing BB creams but those times has changed but I'm still left with quite a lot of Asian BB creams which I use on my neck and chest (it depend from my clothes and how deep the cuts go). This one was a bit too light but it was nice to mix in with other BB creams. This tube never really convinced me to get the more suitable shade for myself. For me the coverage wasn't impressive enough and so  I was always scratching my head whenever I have read or heard people raving about it.

Benecos Fall in love blush trio was an amazing blush that I already miss. I talked about it here you can also see how it looks like. The color was a fresh coral-pink with build in highlighter. In original post I stated that the blush and highlighting strip feels softer and the bronzer strip harder and I was right. I had a massive pan in the center and towards the coral blush part it was very thin while the brown side was still quite intact. Last week when I used it, happy with the result I accidentally dropped it and it smashed all over my floor so I had to clean it up and admit that it is gone. I know that this trio is still available and I have set a goal for myself. When I will finish two more blushes I will go and pick this baby again, I just have to stay away from purchasing novelties and use what is already in my stash.

That last bit goes for all my make-up and cosmetic, I will try to finish at least two products from the same category before purchasing a new one at least if used one wasn't the only one. I decided that I'm not going to wait till next year to make resolutions which will benefit me but I will start right now and here.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day
