these are my July empties and there are a handful of items.

In the summertime my hair get greasier faster so I used dry shampoo between washes a bit more. This Batiste Blush option is one of my favorites. If I don't shake it well or put too much in one area it can make my hair look a bit too dull but if I am careful this one really works well. This scent as mentioned is one of my favorites.

Next is Ahava mineral botanic velvet body lotion in the Lotus & Chestnut option. I actually purchased it for my sister since she mentioned that she likes it but I bought the wrong one... she was talking about a different scent... at the end I decided to keep it and use it myself. It had a light lovely scent and it did nourish my skin. I liked it a lot but I think it is a bit pricey.

 I have ordered this set from Just last year and only now I got to use it. It has Argan and Cedar ingredients and scent. Top is a body wash and bottom is body butter. The scent is a bit masculine but I liked that. Body wash was nothing to special and I used it up rather quick but the butter was thick and whipped. A little went a long way and my skin felt nice after using it. If this would still be available I would get the butter again.

This mini Urban Decay all nighter spray was a gift with purchase and I had hight hopes. The sprayer was nice but I noticed that my face would get greasy faster than usually. I don't mean that it is bad, just taht I have found better.

I am talking about this Catrice ultra last fixing spray which keeps my make up in place for longer and I don't get as greasy. I stopped counting which bottle this is but probably I have gone through ten already and I still have about ten backups. The price is also better than the UD one.

Bottle with the pump is Avon advance technique silky smooth hair oil. This was my second or third bottle of it and I still like it a lot. I would put it on freshly washed hair while still slightly damp and they would dry with less frizz and smoother. If needed I would occasionally put them on dry hair as well but I had to be careful not to make them too oily. I would get this one again.

Empty tube is The Body Shop Petal Rose hand cream. Nice floral scent and almost gel texture which was quick to absorb but it wasn't hydrating enough. They have different scents within the line which fit my dry hand better.

Little pink pot is The Body shop vitamin E moisture cream which felt very light. I remember having one before (gel format) and I liked it more... this is probably different version and I didn't find it hydrating enough even though it did absorb quickly. I will not be buying it again.

I have been wanting to try these Fresh balms for at least two years now. I have seen them on someone and I couldn't get them out of my head. Finally I gave in and pay the rather hefty price for only 6g of product but the product inside is so worth it. The fruity mango scent (I am not sure how mango scent smells like but this could it be it, it is fruity :) and it glides effortless. I don't love the yellow/orange hue of the product because it can look wrong (like I have been eating eggs but forgot to wash). Mostly I was wearing it to bed and the next day my lips were hydrated and soft. I tottaly got myself a new one, this time in Coconut version :)

Catrice HD baking & setting loose powder in the 01 shade. It looks white and also gives a bit of a white cast if I wasn't careful. This one, I think, is my first loose powder and while it is messy it also worked well with my extra oily skin. I am using their HD liquid foundation with this mattifying powder on top and Catrice fixing spray (mentioned above) and at the end of the day my make up looked still presentable. I was very happy with this powder but they discontinued it :(. before it was completely gone I purchased two white ones and two 03 shades (02 which would probably be my match was sold out) so now I am mixing the white and colored powder together to get the right mix :)

Out of eleven used up products I would get 6 of them again but for the other 5 I have no sorrows.

there are quite a lot of empties for the month of August so I have decided to split in two posts. I have cleared up 16 items.

First is Guess Seductive Noir perfume in the large 75ml bottle. The scent is lovely, very reminiscent of Mon Guerlain but for much less. The longevity on me is great just as it is on Guerlain (yes, I have them both) but since Guess is cheaper I was using it more frequently (I apparently don't want to use the expensive one because I am scared to use it up completely...)

On top is the Kiehl's midnight recover omega-rich cloud cream which I have received as a free gift with purchase. The texture is somewhat cloud like but it did not suit me. My acne started to reaper and I did not like that. The most of this generous gift was used on the neck and chest area until it was gone.

On the bottom there is Ahava time to hydrate gentle eye cream which was not a gift with purchase :) It was a lightweight cream and I think my skin really liked it. I have eye wrinkles but if I get something hydrating around them they lighten up and are less visible. The lightweight texture was also a plus. I would get it again.

Some by mi beta phantenol repair toner (hyaluronic acid to moisturise and niacinamide to refine skin texture) was a free product with one of my purchases. I am no longer a huge fan of toners but I still wanted to use it up since I had it. I would pour some on my palm and drench my face in it, no cotton pads to soak up the product. Afterwards I followed with some kind of serum and then cream, it was a little extra step in my routine but honestly I don't think it did much, it did feel a bit extra.

Another bottle of Catrice ultra last fixing spray. I have used up so many of them and I have still around 20 bottles left. I really hope they won't discontinue it soon.

Peter Thomas Roth firm peeling gel. They claim to visibly exfoliate by rolling, lifting & sweeping away impurities when massaged onto skin multi-action enzymes & cellulose help uncover a smoother fresher, newer-looking complexion. This felt like a cream and when I was rubbing it for a while the water evaporated and it started to roll and peel. It is right there in the name but I highly doubt that all this is my dead skin, I think it is mostly just the dried up product but it did feel great, seeing all that being washed away. It gave me a feeling that I really cleansed my skin. I would get it again, since it also felt gentle on my skin. 

I have used up another Neutrogena oil free moisturizer. This is my favorite under make-up and I have used up quite a lot of them. Every once in a while they change packaging (I have seen at least five different ones but they all seem to be the same). I already have a few backups at my disposal.

The last item I purchased as a joke. It is Saffe for kids shower & bath foam with cucumber scent. I just shok it and thick lightly green and fresh scented foam came out. It was a joy to use in the shower, it did made me feel like a kid in the most positive way. I would buy it again, if I am not mistaken there are four options so maybe next time I will get something else than the Chameleon.

new year and a fresh start. Apparently I'm starting January with some new lip balms :) These below are really lovely and so far what I'm using doesn't get close to these three. 

I finished up another bottle of Catrice ultra last fixing spray. I love this one the most out of all of fixing sprays that I have tried. I love the long-lasting matte effect that it has on my face but it doesn't look flat matte. It almost looks like shiny skin but matte... it is really impossible to describe. If you are on a hunt for a new fixing spray and have oily skin I would suggest you to try it out.

On the bottom is Ahava time to hydrate essential day moisturiser. It had a lightweight feel and it absorbed completely into my skin in about 15-20 minutes. If my skin was oily it was hydrating enough but on days when my skin needed a bit more it just didn't cut it. Later I started layering it with more hydrating serums and then it was better for days when my skin needed some extra care. I don't think I will get it again even though it wasn't the creams fault but I should use it on warmer days. 

Lastly there are three lip balms which are completely used up. Yellow one is Crazy Rumor's Honey Comb. I am obsessed with anything honey related and I like the scent on this one, even though it is honey and floral scent. I had one from them before, it was the Grape Jelly flavour which was a bit softer in texture and because of that I prefer that one. This isn't bad at all but comparing the two I liked the softer, more buttery formula. I will definitely try more versions as soon as I use up some more balms.

The last two are reformulated Terra Nature lip balms (before they also had two and I loved one, the other one was just okay) and I was nervous to try the new versions. I hoped for the best and I can say that I love both of them :)  Nude one is Shea butter & Argan oil and the pink one is Shea butter & Almond oil. They are both super soft (they might melt in hot Summer weather but that is the kind of formula that I personally like). They both just melt into my lips and keep them nourished all day long, I like the glossy finish and the pink one has tiny, barely visible shimmer particles which only add to the glow. I honestly love them the most in my collection and when I saw double pack of the nude one I immediately purchased it, shame that I couldn't find the pink duo as well since I would get it as well. These two are my favourite formulas at the moment and I only wish for them to bring more flavours or if I stay more humble I hope they will not discontinue them.

at the moment I'm working on so many products and on a lot of them I'm nearly done... so I guess the next empties will be overflowing.

First is Avon's naturals body lotion with Black Cherry and Nutmeg. I remember using this years ago but time and time again they discontinue it and it is hard to find. I love the scent on this which reminds me of a Cherry yoghurt, the formula isn't the most moisturising out there but for me the scent makes it worth it. I think this isn't available at the moment but if it get back in stock I would get it for the scent alone.

The other body moisturiser is Ahava Deadsea water mineral body lotion (bought as a tester bottle and I was able to get it for less even though it was brand new and unopened). The scent is comforting, that is the best description, nothing too special but still very nice and especially good for night time relaxation. The formula is light enough for the pump to work, it absorbs into my skin and it was perfect with the previous lotion since I find this one way more moisturising and also the scents complimented each other. I would get this one again but only if I find it at a good price since this one tends to be a bit more expensive.

Next to it is my Eveline Hyaluron clinic essence hydrator. Big packaging (110ml) ensured that this bottle lasted me months and also made me use it regularly since it seemed like it would never be finished. The consistency was very watery but the essence often got thick at the top of the opening (the lid does not open but a pressure on the side of the lid open it at an angle and reveals a small opening the side). I liked to use it in the evening under my heavier moisturisers to lock in the moisture. I remember I didn't pay much for it and considering how much product I received this gets two thumbs up from me.

The very last item is a body scrub from Avon. It is their Encanto inspiring body scrub in the creamy violet scent. The scent was okay but as soon I started to rub it against my skin it started to smell artificial. Towards the end I was only using it to finish it up. For my liking this had too small beads and didn't do enough and I was also not a fan of the scent (I much prefer the Afrodita body scrub that I finished up earlier).

my resolution to post more often haven't come true jet but maybe next month it will be better. Until then I have my empties all lined up. 

First is my beloved Essence camouflage+ healthy glow concealer in Light Ivory shade. This is my favourite one, love the creamy texture which doesn't settle too much into my fine lines and it is the perfect shade for my skin tone. I think the healthy glow line is discontinued but I have also tried the matte version and on me they feel pretty much the same in term of formula, just the shade range is different but I can still find a good shade for me. 

Next, on top is the Lavender toner from Milnica. I like getting these since they are simple and inexpensive but I prefer to pour them into the bottles with the sprayer and spray them on so I can also use them over my make-up if I'm feeling a bit dry and tight. Lavender is my favourite, Rose being close second. I will get it again but I'm pretty stocked up so I should just finish what I already have before buying more.

Under the toner is Afrodita's pure coconut sugar body scrub. This is very intense since the sugar in it is rough but then the coconut smooths over... it actually is a delight to use because my skin is left with a thick film over it and I love it. On days that I used it I didn't really need to use any other body lotion, this scrubs and nourish the skin. The particles are rough so I would advise gentle massage but sugar does dissolve and  then is just coconut grease all over and that to me feels great. I actually wanted to repurchase it but when I got home I noticed that instead of scrub I purchased butter... it is in the same type of packaging with the same picture... I haven't use it jet but I am excited. After I'm through another scrub I'm getting this one again.

Batiste makes some of my favourite dry shampoos and the Fresh version has to be my second favourite. It is white but it is easily blended into my hair as long as I don't spray too close to the hairline and the fresh scent mimic the freshly washed hair... what is not to love? I already have a backup of it :)

Regular nail polish switching also requires nail polish remover and for me inexpensive works. I used up Ebeline nail polish remover which costs very little and is very effective. My nails aren't super sensitive, even though now in the cold they break more easily I don't think more expensive nail polish remover would be any different so I prefer to hydrate more and rather spend more money on nourishing products than nail varnish removers. I'm already using new bottle of the same kind and I will continue to repurchase it.

This next items is the only disappointing one in the bunch and it is the expensive Ahava silky soft cleansing cream. It smells like plastic, not super strong but when I rub it all over my face I can definitely smell it. The other thing and even more burning one is the fact that this product burned my eyes. God forbid I would rub it all over my eyes (to remove stubborn mascara) and then opened them... with other make-up removing products it wasn't that bad or some of them gave me no irritations at all so it has to be this particular item that I'm having issues with. I will definitely not be getting it again and currently I'm already using Jojoba oil and it removes my make-up with the same ease and if I accidentally open my eyes it doesn't burn at all. 

The very last item in here is probably the most used one since I probably used up around ten tubes already and I have no intentions to stop using it. It is Neutrogena Clear & Defend oil free face moisturiser. It is lightweight jet moisturising, is nourishes my skin but doesn't add more oils to it. Great for under my make-up or on days when I don't wear foundation. For me it is a perfect hydrator and I'm already using a new tube.
