Big purchase no. 5

 Hello,

here is another part of my big purchase and what is jet to come. I think I am the most excited for lippies. 

I can't wait to try all Rom&nd new shades of Glasting Color Glosses in Nutty Vague, Cream Shell, Rose Finch and Dim Mauve. I already have three shades and I love them all, I will see if among these there is my new favorite shade.

Relatively big palettes are JudyDoll Pink Dew-Shine 6 color palettes in Pink Coral and Peach Soda. Shadows in two larger pans could be used on the face as well and there is also one super glittery shade for accentuating. Shades look pale but still very promising.

Little black tube is Lancôme Hypnose mascara. I already had one and I really liked it, I know how expensive these are so when I saw one for cheap I purchased it even if it is a little one. It still lasted me a long time the last time I had it.

Last but not least is Amuse Jel Fit tint is Boksoonga Jelly. I was super curious about it and there were a few shades I was interested in and because I already picked up so many items I decided to get only one, to try out. if I end up liking it I can always get more.

Lavender Latte

 Hello,

It is Lancôme Juicy Tubes original shiny lip gloss in Lavender Latte. I got interested in this pale lavender shade since it is so unusual.

Base is actually clear but packed with lilac/violet and blue shimmers. Each tube holds 15 ml of product.

Applicator is plastic but comfortable and easy to use. Scent is supposed to smell coffee like but to me it is sweet and there is something but I can't put my finger on it. I would not say it is coffee, but rather some sweet baked goods...

Here it is shown just how sparkly it is, there is nothing subtle about it. I love how glossy it is and sparkles accentuates that effect beautifully.

This shade as well lasts on me up to two hours which is amazing.

This is my third Juicy Tubes and I don't know which one is my favorite, I like them all and since the formula is that good I can see them being used up and getting more.

Juicy Tubes in Marshmallow Electro and Spring Fling

I have seen the popularity in these Lancôme lip glosses and when the site had a sale on them I picked two up (I always find it so hard to pick just one shade, no matter the item).

These are Lancôme Juicy Tubes original shiny lip glosses, I never had them in the 90' so I can't compare with the old formula but I wonder why they put original on the tubes and boxes? I dig in and found that they are supposed to actually have original formula, they did not tweak it. They come in yummy scented flavours in three finishes: sparkly, creamy and jelly. Each tube holds 15 ml of product.

I picked Marshmallow Electro which is shimmery and second is Spring Fling and I believe it is in the jelly formula (pretty sheer, creamy ones are more pigmented).

Marshmallow Electro is sheer pink with golden shimmer and Spring Fling is quite bright (on my photo it looks more pastel).

They both have super sweet bubblegum scent that I adore. I expected to be different but I am not mad that they smell the same because eI really like it.

Marshmallow Electro comes out super shimmery, base color does not translate and Spring Fling gives a little color if applied a lot. On me it is mostly clear but again, if this color that I see in the tube would translate on the lips it would be so hard to wear, nearly impossible. I wish it would have a little smidge more pigment but I can always wear lipstick underneath and make it more obvious.

They weren't kidding when they were describing them as super glossy and juicy. This shine is gorgeous and for someone who loves lips glosses in tubes these are great. They create full on mirror shine and last. On me these hold up for two hours. After one and a half hours gloss started to fade, so it wasn't super mirror like but still shiny. It is not sticky and feels cushion like on the lips (not thin like oil) and I love the bright and shimmery options I picked, they are super wearable and I can apply them on the go. Scent is awesome and I wouldn't mind if more brands would have more bubblegums and sweet scents opposed to the minty and cooling ones.

I am eyeing two more shades as of now and if they will get on sale I might pick them up, not that I need more but these are that good :)

this is the second part of my March empties, this pack is made of smaller items but I am still glad t muve them in the recycling bin.

Let start with a Catrice Gel like top coat. It had a nice consistency and created very shiny, glossy top coat over my nail polishes. I liked this one but there are others which I find just as good as this one.

Second is Kneipp Apricot & Marula lip balm. I had high hopes for it but it felt short. The scent is sweet and nice but the texture is hard and after a few minutes (after it warms up on my lips) it gets sticky, it felt like I applied glue on my lips and I decided that it is just not worth it. Mine isn't completely finished but I don't care, I don't like it enough to finish it.

First gloss is Catrice from My Jewels, My Rules collection in the option Apricot Crush. It had light apricot base with shimmers but the color did not translate onto the lips. It had weird soapy scent. It was okay but nothing worthy of repurchasing for me.

Next is my bellowed Catrice lip gloss obsessed in Same gloss, different day shade. Pale pinky nude shade and with the most gorgeous gourmand scent. On the lips shade wasn't obvious but the feeling was exquisite and I loved that. It doesn't hold much product but it also doesn't cost much so I can see myself repurchasing it in the near future.

Pink bottle is Nyx #this is everything lip oil. It was clear lip oil with no scent and with a thin formula. If I applied too much it started dripping down my chin, if I applied regular amount then it was gone after a few minutes (from 10 to 15 min) and that resulted in me constantly reapplying it and this 8 ml bottle was soon finished. I will not be buying it again because this did nothing for hydration and my lips quickly dried up.

This mini Clarins Wonder Volume XXL mascara made clumps and I don't love that. At first it was okay but the longer I had it opened the more obvious it would get, to top that off it dropped my curl and then my lashes looked sad and straight. I had nicer mascaras or maybe more suited for my stubborn lashes, so I will not be buying big size.

Last bottle is Lancome Idole EDP. I love this scent and I have already used up one 25 ml bottle (I still have a large one left :). This is just a mini but the gorgeous fresh and sweet Rose scent lingers all day long and it just makes me happy :) Ten out of ten scent for me.

below is my second part of September empties and they are all among smaller tubes :) There is a bunch of minis :)

First there are two Origins Ginzing into the glow brightening serums. I already had a full size and I loved it. These two mini 15 ml tubes I have received as gift with purchases and I used them up with joy. Texture is very watery, I don't need whole lot to cover my entire face so serum last a long time and my skin loves it. This one is gone but now I see similar product with a different packaging, maybe they revamped the formula?

There is another Origins product, this one is Ginzing SPF 30 daily moisturizer with slight orange scent. I tried it on my face but I found it to be too greasy on me so I just used it on my body. I have other face sun lotions that I like better so I will not be buying big tube of it. 

Next one is Smashbox photo finish Illuminate glow primer. It has peach base and slight glow but I have noticed that most of the glow came from the texture, on me it was a bit too greasy and when I put foundation over it it started to come off. It just wasn't compatible with my favorite foundation so I used it on my days off without foundation and on my neck and chest area.

Fifth mini is Lancome anti-wrinkle, firming tone evening cream. At first it felt lightweight but it left a greasy layer afterwards. I used it up at night but I didn't like the greasy feeling so I will not be buying it.

With a light blue lid there is Biotherm life plankton elixir. Light almost gel like texture and it was nice to use under heavier creams for added hydration. It was mini and hard to see if it works for me but I have already purchased a big size of it so I hope my skin will really like it (after buying the big size I have received this mini as a free gift with purchase). 

First full sized item here is Avene soothing eye contour cream. It had a nice texture, it was fast absorbing and it didn't irritate my eyes, it was nice but nothing too special. I had eye creams that I liked better.

Purple one is Balea intensive lip balm with shea butter. I really liked it, it was hydrating and on the softer side. I like my lip balms to be soft so they can just melt into my lips, I also like the glossy look and this one covered all of that. Unfortunately I have lost it and I found it now one year later, it was buried inside my couch and now it has a weird scent so I didn't used it all the way up ;( If this is still available I would get it again.

Next to it is another lip balm and I deliberately turned it away since it is no name balm with a company name written all over it. It is a promotional balm and it is generic one. Slight vanilla scent which turns plastic, after around 15 min it disappears from my lips and I have to reapply non stop and my lips were still dry. At the and I didn't even bother with it since it isn't completely finished but I don't care. I just want it gone.

Last but not least is Benefit fan fest mascara in black. It is also a mini (it has a super short wand) but the brush itself is full sized. It had a slightly curved wand and I really liked it. Usually I use rubber bristles and this one has more of a traditional wand but we got along well. I liked to put on one layer, occasionally two since I don't like clumped lashes. This one behaved well for my needs but I could if I wanted to make it more obvious. I think it is a very versatile mascara and I like that. I already put it into my online shopping bag but I can't bring myself to buy it since I have a few others that I have to go through but this one is definitely one of my favorites.

below I have a small batch of empties but they are just for the first half of May, second half will be fuller.

Tall bottle throwing the balance of the line is Batiste Floral dry shampoo. I still like them a lot and rarely buy from other brands just because these are so nice. It is slightly white but if I am careful it is okay. Lovely scent of a non descriptive floral scent but I will get it again.

Next is It's skin power 10 formula VC effector with vitamin C. I really liked this serum, the texture was just right and the bottle lasted me a long time. I like vitamin C products since I still have some acne scars and they disappear faster with use and this one did a nice job. I would get it again.

While purchasing some of their products (mostly body moisturisers) I have also received this mini Korres Greek Yoghurt nourishing probiotic gel cream for calming and hydrating my skin. I liked the light texture (I am a sucker for gel textures) but sometimes it was too 'light' for me, I would follow with some oil on top. I probably won't be buying it, because there are other ones with similar texture that I have tried and work for me better.

In the middle there is oil from Milnica and it is Castor oil. I used it mainly for my hair to promote hair growth but I haven't noticed any big changes, I still prefer Great Burdock for my hair. This one is also very thick and greasy. I need to check if there is another bottle of Castor oil in my 'collection' to use it up and then I probably I won't be buying it again.

I have finished up another Avon advance technique supreme oils hair oil. I absolutely love these, no matter which option I get I love them all or maybe I should say that my hair loves them. I like to use them on still damp hair after washing and it smooths them and makes them silkier and shinier. Right now I am using oil from a different brand but I don't like it as much. These are not as greasy, one pump for the ends of my still slightly wet hair and no oilyness in sight. 

Last but not least is one of my favorite scents at the moment. It is a travel option of Lancôme La vie est Belle Oui perfume. I already purchased big size (hello sparkly bottle) and later received this one as a gift with purchase. This size is nice to just put it in my purse and refresh while on the go even though this one lasted on me almost whole day (usually I use three sprays) mostly I would use it if I forgot to use perfume at home. Because this is so long lasting on me it also lasted me a long time, thankfully I still have almost full 100 ml bottle.

for the first half of April I have some really nice items in the empties bag.

I have used up two Avon Care coconut hand creams. These are some of my favorites, they are light in texture, absorb quickly and actually nourish my hands. I kept one at home and on at my workplace. I think I started to use them at around the same time and I also managed to finish them at the same time. I already have new ones to go through.

I already have a lot from the brand Some by Mi but I haven't used up much (my shopping addiction is showing). They are from their Beta Panthenol line, top is lightweight repair serum and at the bottom is repair cream (also quite light). Combo of these two helped my skin to calm down and hydrate it. I was really impressed with them and I have already purchased myself backup and I have also received minis of both :)

I am done with another one of this Catrice ultra last fixing sprays. This is hands down my favorite fixing spray. It holds my make up in place and keep my oils at bay.

Last bottle is a mini Biotherm micellar water. A few drops on the cotton pad and it removed the remaining bits of my make-up. I would get it again but I still have two bottles left and I don't go through micellar water that fast.

First here is Max Factor 2000 calories Cotton Candy shade lip gloss. It is very translucent peachy pink and on the lips looks almost clear. It has a slight sweet scent and I love taht it looks very juicy on the lips, just how I like it. The only downside is that it doesn't last, if it would I would get it again and also in the clear shimmery option.

Next in line is Essence Cranberry lip oil. It goes on clear and tints my lips bright pink. I ended up really loving it becuase this is one of the rare tinting lip product that evenly stains my lips and I was really annoyed when they discontinued it :( I did pick myself a back up :)

Second to last is Terra Naturi Shea butter & Argan oil lip balm. It is clear and looks very glossy on the lips. It is very soft and buttery, just how I like it. I do have another one to go through before purchasing more. This is one of my favorites so I will continue buying them but first I need to use up my extensive stash.

Last is a mini Lancome Hypnose mascara. On me it looked pretty natural and on most days that is exactly how I like it. On normal day, going to work I like my lashes just to be a bit more visible, nothing too dramatic. I feel like this mini lasted me for a long time ( I had to check and it was in November of last year, so around 5 months). I think I would get this one again if I can find it for less.

Lancôme L'absolute drama matte lipsticks

it is new year and I am ready for a new lipstick. I recently received these two as a gift with purchase (I am a big fan of their perfumes) and I decided to try them out together.

They are Lancôme L'absolut drama matte mini lipstick in 196 and 505.

They both look red, first one is warmer and orange toned red numbered as 196 and the other on is brighter and when compared cooler toned but I would say in quite neutral in tone. The pigmentations is insane, swatches below are made with two lines each and that is it.

They weren't kidding when they released them under matte range. They have no shine and look somewhat powdery on the skin. My prefered way is to dab them on and blend them with the tip of my finger, to achieve that lived in, slightly smudged look. The powdery finish helps with my preferred application (I try not to go over the lines of my lip, I have no intentions of looking like a little clown) and looks somewhat natural on me. I really love this look and I thought that I finally found the perfect lipstick for myself. Even though they are matte and I press them into my lips they tend to migrate all over if I apply lip balm or lip gloss over them... I really thought they will be perfect. 

So, the conclusion is that I really like both shades (there are more to choose from), I like the powdery finish, they are super pigmented but I apply them with a light hand but high pigmentation means that even these minis would last me a long time. For me the only problem comes when I try to top them with a lip balm to bring back some hydration and then the pigment starts to migrate all over :( Even after hour and a half after application they still don't settle. 

I really hoped for them to be perfect base colors but aren't, I gave them to my sister and now she is enjoying them fully.

this batch of empties is quite large, I managed to finish up to 8 items and there are a few more just waiting to be gone.

Here I have one of my favourite perfumes which is Lancôme Hypnose. Such a lovely powdery passion fruit scent, I seriously can't get enough of it. I already have a new bottle but before cracking new bottle I will wear some other fragrances just to prevent getting sick of this particular scent.

Batiste dry shampoo is a staple in my bathroom. It is so easy to fix the hair with it and make them look more presentable through the day. I went through a numerous bottles of Batiste dry shampoo and this particular Cheeky Cherry is my second favourite (my first is still Peony but there are a few different scents which share the no. second spot). I already have a few backups in various scents.

Avon Avocado replenishing body wash is a lovely creamy product. This is already my second bottle and I have two more backups. I love the slightly thicker texture (it is not runny like water, if you are clumsy like I am then spilling it into the drain it possible) which makes this product last so much longer than the rest of body washes plus the scent is a creamy heaven to me but nothing too overpowering. Great for calming me down after a long day at work.

Next is Holika Holika Green Tea face wash. It looks like a cream which foams a little when mixed with water. It is gentle jet effective. This is my second tube and I wanted to get a new one but the price went up so instead I purchased a different one to try out but I will be on a lookout to get it again once the price drops.

Ebelin nail polish remover, I think this one is pretty basic but it works for me. It is very inexpensive and easy to get, I already bought myself a new bottle of it.

There is Aloe Vera Fruit of the Earth gel, I have tried some other brands but I have not had such success as with this one. This one doesn't irritate my skin if applied on sun exposed skin, I also use it on dry and dehydrated areas or use it as a hair gel. This tube lasted me few years but now I got myself a bottle twice the size ;) I think it will last me a lifetime :)

Catrice HD Liquid Coverage foundation in Light Beige is my favourite, formula and shade wise. With this foundation I can choose lighter or higher coverage, depending on the day and I think it looks pretty natural  and not caked through the day. I personally have to set it with powder and reapply another layer of powder through my work day since my skin is oily but I think it still looks nice and the price is super low on it. This one is a massive love and I already have a few backups.

In front there is Avon Always on Point eye pencil in Molten Pewter shade. I love this self sharpening mechanism. It allows me to always have a sharp end, every time you twist the lid back it sharpens and I think it is genius. So, I love the packaging, the formula is creamy and it sets after a few seconds and the color doesn't shift all over. The color was one of my favourites, it was a cool toned green with shimmer and great on its own or over darker colours to add some shimmer, I would repurchase it again if possible.

this time around I finished up a lot of products, I barely got all of them in one photo. Now I see it would be better to divide them but I'm too lazy to reshoot and I can't wait to just recycle items below.

I finally finished off one of my favorite fragrances which is Lancôme La vie est belle l'eclat EDT. I completely fell for this sweet orange blossom scent and in the crowd of similar fragrances this one remains my favourite. It is now discontinued but luckily I managed to get two more bottles to enjoy this lovely scent some more.

The heart shaped bottle is Diesel Loverdose Tattoo fragrance. This one was nice, I mostly wore it at home. I liked the opening which reminded me of peppermint candy cane (those are not the notes so I don't know why I'm smelling it) but the dry down was a bit more underscript. Not a bad scent but in the sea of fragrances that I have this one didn't stand out so I quickly finished it off and it will not be missed.

I finally used up this large bottle of Ziaja med antibacterial care body wash (I can't read Polish so I was using this as a face wash and through using it I found out that it is meant for the entire body... since it did work I continued using it on my face). It had a very watery texture (one or two pumps were sufficient) and removed all of the oils and make-up, it was actually very sufficient face wash but I had to be careful not to get it in my eyes because it wasn't pleasant. This product does get a thumbs up for me even though I wasn't using it on the right area ;)

Purple tube is Avon Far Away Splendoria body lotion. I also had a perfume but I didn't like it but lotion is a different story. In the lotion the scent was creamier and milkier while in the perfume it was more sharp and I felt like it was attacking my senses. The lotion was nice, light texture which absorbed quickly and I haven't noticed any dry skin afterwards. I would get the lotion again since I enjoy all the aspects of it but I still have too many products so I will restrain myself.

Next is my beloved Neutrogena Clear and Defend oil free moisturiser. Lightweight, it doesn't add oils to my already oily skin and a dose of Salicylic acid is doing wonders to my skin. I am already using a new tube and now it comes in a slightly different packaging (I have been using it for so long that I remember them changing the packaging numerous times but fortunately they don't tamper with the formula).

Next to it is another repurchased item and it is Beauty Glam Niacinamid serum. Another ingredient which helps my skin to behave, it is less oily and helps clearing my pores. I immediately swapped new bottle into my routine since I use this serum pretty much every evening after cleansing my skin.

I finished up an eye cream and this particular one is Bioderma Sensibio eye contour gel. It claims to tone down the puffiness which I rarely get, but also promotes soothing and moisturising properties. It is a lightweight cream and I personally prefer something a bit thicker (I only use eye cream at night time so no interference with my make-up), this was nice but nothing too special for me. I would prefer something thicker or at least more hydrating than this one so I will not buy it again.

Then there is a product that I absolutely love and again it is also discontinued. It is Avon Supershock Max mascara. It was a big fat wand with tons of spikes which coat and separate my lashes nicely. The effect is rather natural and elongated lash (I don't like clumping) and it suited me really well. I fortunately have two more back ups.

The very last item is a novelty for me, Avon bikini line hair removal cream. I tried it out and I was pleased with the result. There was enough product for six treatments and following the rules, after a few minutes I just simply wipe off the cream and all the hair were gone. Very impressive and my skin did't feel irritated so it was a win win situation. I liked the cream but shaving and laser is just as good for me, I can see buying cream again and using it on longer hair (if I get lazy and don't shave regularly I would use this cream again).

it is mid April already and I feel like I haven't used that many products lately but out of these five there are two fragrance bottles and I count that as a full success.

The first item is my beloved Ziaja Bubble Cola body wash for kids. I don't have kids, it is for me and me only. I love the true Coca-Cola scent and I especially like to use it instead of shampoo. It cleanses my hair really well, it could be drying so I make sure to use conditioner every once in a while to bring the moisture back but other than that I really like it. Shiny and smooth hair with lovely scent all day long, this one is already repurchased.

Avon care restoring moisture hand creams are made for dry skin. I finished two at the same time because I used one at work and one at home. These are some of the best formulas for my hands. Lightweight and quick to absorb while having light coconut scent, they are my favorite for a reason (besides the banana and the Jasmin one).

The last are two fragrances. One of my absolute favourites is Idôle by Lancôme in a 25 ml bottle (I love it so much that I also have a large 75 ml bottle of it which is still full). For me this fragrance is all year scent, great for the office and everyday gatherings. Juicy Pear with Rose, translucent and still very potent.

The last one is Cloud from Ariana Grande in a 30 ml bottle, this one however I will not be buying again because on my skin this scent just doesn't work. I love the creamy coconut scent but my skin makes it plastic like and I don't like that so I sprayed it on my bed and use it as my sleep scent. I will miss it but since I have so many perfumes I won't be buying it again.
