Empties

 Hello,

this is the second part of my empties, more skin and hair care items.

First big boy is Ziaja Silk shower gel in 500 ml bottle. It had creamy scent and wasn't super liquid. I like that shower gels are a bit thicker so they don't just run in my shower. I liked the scent, my favorite is still Bubble Cola scent. It lasted me for a long time and I would get it again.

Next is the whole pink line from Schwarzkopf Gliss split ends miracle line. First is shampoo, then conditioner and lastly shine booster. I liked this line, I think no rinse serum was my favorite from the trio but I have other products that work even better so probably I will not repurchase them again. I have to admit that the scent on these is gorgeous and I might pick some again just for it. My hair are quite damaged since I let them grow out from a super short bob to my waist and regular cuts were not in my plan :) At the moment I am using some other products which help my hair look amazing so that is what I am comparing and my current routine fits my hair better but this line smells better.

Lastly there are L'occitane Neroli & Orchid body wash and body moisturiser duo. This scent was magical and since my sister knew she got them for me for holiday. Only now I was able to use them up, I still have the hand cream. This sweet cream and floral scent is one of my favorites from them but as far as I know they don't make this line anymore. I know they discontinued them before and brought them back... I hope they will repeat that :)

Next duo is from Atelier Cologne. They are both in the same Bohemian Orange Blossom scent, first is the lotion and second is Cologne Absolue (I think it is supposed to be slightly stronger version of cologne which isn't super strong). Scent was beautiful, sweet orange blossom but still fresh and very summer like. I prefered the scent in the lotion format since it was sweeter but probably I will not but these products again. Lotion is expensive and the cologne had poor longevity.

Third is Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence for hydration, soothing and clear skin. I liked this thicker gel formula. I used it under my moisturisers sometimes in this extreme heat this was the only one I used before bed time and it felt enough. I was scared that it would sting but there were no irritations, I like it enough to probably repurchase it.

Big white tube is Missha Super Aqua Cell Reneval Snail cleansing foam. It was very creamy and it did not strip my skin while still removed my make-up residue mixed with cleansing balm. I find it very nice for gentle cleansing my face, I would get it again but at the moment I am swarmed with face washes.

I used up another serum, this one is from Beauty Glam and it is their 2% Salicylic acid serum. I love using this ingredient for pore cleansing. This serum has just the right consistency, it is easy to find in store and it is inexpensive, I believe I already have another bottle somewhere.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day

Empties

 Hello,

I have some more empties for the month of April but these were used up in the second half of April.

First is this big Ziaja Italian fig body wash. It was clear and quite liquid. The scent was sweet and fruity, reminiscent of the real ripe fig. I would get this one again.

Next is another Ziaja body wash but this one with goat milk. It was creamier than the first one but it didn't have any distinctive scent, just creamy but I count that as a good and positive sign. It felt calming and perfect for a good night sleep. I would get this one again.

If I am sticking with the body care, next item is Balea bloomy dreams body lotion. It had a lovely violet scent, calming, relaxing but also very light in intensity. My complaint is the slightly greasier texture. It was nice for massaging. I would like it more if the texture would be lighter, so I will not be buying it again.

Big pot is discontinued Avon planet spa Heavenly Hydration hair mask with Mediterranean olive oil. I remember I have used up a few of those and I have always had nice results, this time around nothing changed. My hair after using it felt soft, smoother and silkier, I am genuinely sad that I can't find it again :(

I have received this small tube of Vichy Dercos energy + stimulating shampoo for preventing hair loss. I got a few hair washes out of it but I haven't noticed any difference in hair growth but I still used it. No crazy results but also no bad experience, I have shampoos which works better for me so I will not be buying more.

The last bottle in line is L'occitane Verveine Cactus EDT full of Bergamot and Lemon notes that I am not crazy about. This bottle just like the yellow one was given to me and I used it more like a room spray. I am glad that it is gone and I am not sad for letting this bottle being recycled and out of my life.

First tube is Iliria 48h hand cream. I have used up one in the past and I loved it. Light texture but highly effective, even my boyfriend likes it so I have already purchased another one.

Next pink bottle is Nivea rose touch cleansing face mousse with organic rose water & micellar technology. My mom purchased it for herself thinking it is a rose toner, the liquidy texture fooled her but since she doesn't use face washes she gave it to me to use it up. It was nice but nothing special, I used it mostly in the morning because it didn't remove make-up but it was good for removing my natural oils. All in all it was a bit drying and not the best at removing foundation so I will not be buying it.

I have used up so many of these Neutrogena oil free face moisturizers that I have lost count. It is a lotion with. lightweight formula, it doesn't clog my pores and sits nicely under my make-up. Really nice and effective morning moisturizer.

I am new to the Skin 1004 brand and I tried their mini version of Madagascar centella cream. It is supposed to be hydrating, calming and helping with building skin barrier. I had high hopes but the texture was very light and watery, it took very long time to absorb and since I mostly used it in the evening when I was sleepy I just couldn't wait for it to absorb to continue with my routine. I could only use some oil on top since everything else would just slide right off. Unfortunately it didn't work for me and I won't be buying a bigger size.

Little purple bottle is Some by Mi retinol intense reactivating serum (retinol, retinal and bakuchiol) which was a free gift with purchase and even though it is small it took me weeks to use it up. It didn't irritate my skin and I like that :) also I love how clinical the brand feels :) I will get it again in a larger bottle to fully test results.

Essence grow'n'glow is a nail varnish with a slight red tint. It is supposed to make ma nails appear less yellow which it did but very minimal. My biggest no-no was intense chipping. This one started to ship on the third wear day and it is just too soon. I quickly used it up, mostly repairing chips but it is finished.

Second bottle is also Essence nail polish and this one is light grey with pink sparkles and it is named Miracle Stone. Very pretty in my opinion but it got a bit old and the formula just didn't perform how it should so I had to throw half full bottle away :(

Last one is Essence matt concealer in Light Ivory. This one is my staple and sometimes I change the shade (because I ether forget which one is the one, more shades work for me or I just get the one that is available at the moment of need).

Empties

 Hello,

I am back with March empties. I had these photos saved for six months now and it is finally the time to share them and add these product to my virtual library.

First only lip products.
I was head over hills to get this Catrice tinted lip oil. I got it in the shade Keep it juicy!. On me it turner quite hot pink and I wasn't a fan of this shade but I loved how glossy and juicy my lips looked after applying it. I would get it again but in a different shade even though this one was lighter pin out of the two.

Next is the limited edition Catrice lip oil from their Secret Garden collection and I picked 02 True Bloom. Soft pink which looked almost clear on my lips but it wasn't as glossy as the previous version. If they would make this shade but with a high shine from the previous glow I would make a lot of purchases :)

Red bullet is Blistex lip brilliance with Strawberry scent and red coloring with silver shimmer, on the lips it looked frosty. I liked the color and shimmer on my lips but it didn't nourish them one bit and from times it made my lips tingle and not in a good way. I actually didn't even finish it but used around half and I gave up.

Last balm is another Blistex but this one is Hemp&Shea hydration lip balm. This one is clear and has slightly vanillia like, I like the feeling and scent but hydration wasn't there. At the end of the day my lips were dry :( I will not be buying any of these two again.

I have received this bottle of L'occitane Citrus Verbena EDT from a friend. I am not particularly fond of fresh and citrusy perfumes so I just used it in my bathroom as a room freshener or I sprayed it on my clotes if the fabric softener scent was gone. Unfortunately this doesn't have a long lasting properties and I will not get it again or any other from this line.

My first Banilla co. original cleansing balm and I got it in the largest 180 ml packaging. Thankfully I really liked it, so much that I have bought three more :). This one didn't irritate my eyes and removed all of my make-up. I even like the little spatula that comes with it and keep it sanitary. I was using if for solid 5 months, comparing it to the price I think that is pretty good.

Little tube is CeraVe eye repair cream. It had a light texture and it felt nice but nothing extraordinary. For me it was very forgettable :(

Last is huge La Roche-Posay lipikar body moisturizer. I liked the light texture and fast hydration. Pump was a nice touch but not seeing through made using this product a mystery. At the end I just didn't know when it will end. I would still get it again but it takes forever to use it up because of the big 400 ml bottle.

Empties

 Hello,

as promised this time I have way more finished items than in my previous post. I was working overtime on some of them to be able to finish them up.

This is already my second and maybe also my last tube of Cosrx Salicyilc acid daily gentle cleanser. I love using it at night after already cleansing my face as a treatment. It is a cream product and it gets creamy and slightly foamy while mixed with water. I just gently massage it onto my face and afterwards my skin feels and looks softer with less texture. I would buy it again if I would find it but I bought from the same brand another one with the same active ingredient and I will see if it is just as good.

Next is this Balea Almon and Cherry Blossom body wash. It smells divine and my first thought was to get a backup immediately but the texture didn't convinced me. It is watery and it doesn't foam... it feels weird and I get a feeling like I'm not properly cleaning my body. I do have another scent which I'm using at the moment and after the second tube is gone I will no longer buy this body wash no matter how good it smells.

In the white tube is Ziaja hand cream with silk proteins and provitamin B5. It is a lightweight cream which absorbs quickly and makes my hands soft but I have noticed that after I wash my hands (even after hours) it just comes off and my hands aren't any better... it looks like it works while it is on but after washing my hands the benefits are washed away. It seems like it doesn't penetrate my skin and work its magic. I did finish it up but I will not buy it again.

Next is basic Jojoba oil by Pflanzen Kosmetik. I primarily used it as my make-up remover. It melts my products nicely and afterwards a gentle cleanser is able to remove it all. In my opinion very simple jet effective product and I have already repurchased it.

This is super old limited edition Carice Bronze away to... hydrating fixing spray. At first I was scared that there will be some shimmer or glitter particles but it doesn't contain any. I really liked this one and I'm eager to see if they will have another LE one this year and in the mean time I just got their 'regular' fixing spray.

Another repurchased item is this Eveline cosmetics Expert C serum with 12% active vitamin C. I love Vitamin C on my skin and how well it combats my hyperpigmentation left after acne. This one is on the inexpensive side of the range and it works so I already have a new bottle of it.

Under is Nuxe Honey balm which was my lip balm of choice for night time and it was really nice. Not quite fantastic so I am using something else at the moment but it is quite possible that I will get it again. I love the honey scent and how greasy it is but at the same time sometimes I thought it was just too greasy, but none the less it was nourishing enough for me to get me through some dry patches in my life.

The last one is my beloved L'occitane hand cream in the Neroli and Orchide Intense version. I'm still not the biggest fan of their formula (they do have different ones, gel has to be my favourite) -this one being a lightweight cream but the scent is what I was sold on. It is a gorgeous sunny and warm neroli and since I love it so much my sister already got me another one as a gift :)

Empties

 Hello,

it is almost the end of the year, how is that possible? It feels like the Summer was here just yesterday and today it is freezing outside.

First is my beloved Avon care glycerin hand and nail cream. It has a soft floral scent, light texture which gets absorbed pretty quickly and my hands are left soft and moisturised afterwards. I bought this cream numerous times and I already have a few backups.

Next is L'occitane Fleur d'or & Acacia body oil. I remember having hand cream back In the day and I loved the scent but since this collection got discontinued and I couldn't get my hands on it. Up until recently where I saw this oil and swapped it with some fragrance. This oil still to this day smell divine to me, there is just something about Acacia scent which makes me all weak. The oil itself was on the dry side, it sinked in fast but at the same time I didn't have the felling that it did much for my skin, so I was layering it over something more moisturising and just enjoyed the scent.

Second to last is another repurchased item in my routine. It is Alkmene tea tree face wash. I used to love this face wash but lately I found myself just liking it. I think I prefer the Cerave one. This is gel like product, it thoroughly washes my face. It doesn't irritate my skin and the packaging works. I still have nothing bad to say about it but I feel like my skin just prefers something else at the moment.

And the last one is a mini, it was a gift with purchase (10 ml, otherwise you can get it in a bigger bottle). It is La Roche Posay Pure vitamin C10 serum. It has a bit of a weird scent (not citrusy but rather more chemical), it came as a thicker gel and even though it looks tiny, this bottle lasted me two weeks. I did like it but I think there are other cheaper options out there so probably I won't buy it again just because of the price.

Empties

 Hello,

this will be my last empties post for this year and I tried to squeeze in as many products as possible.

Here is another Himalaya foaming Neem face wash (there is still a little bright green liquid visible but in the evening I will use it all up). This is one of the two of my favorite face washes. It effectively removes my make-up residue and does not strip my skin out. It creates nice foam which feels like a cloud and it is quite inexpensive but I usually just wait for some extra sales and buy two bottles at the time.

I like to use oil first on my face to melt the make-up and then wash it off with a face wash, so this oil form Milnica was a first step. I had this Apricot oil which smelled like roasted Almonds. In general I like Almonds but this was a bit too strong for me and I didn't like it. The oil itself was pretty nice, quite thick and it worked at removing my make-up very well. It did its job nicely but this scent bothered me too much to repurchase it again.

Then I have two Catrice LE fixing sprays which worked exactly the same for me. First is from Active Warrior LE and I loved it so much that this is my third and last bottle of it. I would repurchase it in a heart beat if I could. The other is newer and it is from Sungasm collection and had fake/plastic scent to it. I didn't like it that much but at least it is faint and it goes away pretty fast. I do have one backup left. I love using them on my face especially now when I have to wear a mask so much.

Here is my last batch of lip products for this year. First is L'occitane Shea balm with Apricot. It smelled very nice but it was very thick but at the same time it got absorbed super fast and it left my lips bare and exposed. I didn't like the formula that much so at the end I just used it on any dry patch on my body and didn't only focus on my lips because I wanted it gone.

Next to it is one of my favorites and I'm super sad that they don't make them anymore. It is Nivea Lip Butter, mine is in the Blueberry scent and it had Blueberry yogurt feel. I love this. The scent, the soft texture, the creaminess which stayed on my lips till the next morning and managed to moisturize my lips all night long... why, oh, why did they had to discontinue it. This is marvelous lip balm.

The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit lip balm is a big fail for me and I won't talk too much about it because my heart still hurts. I bought it a couple of years ago and the other day I wanted to use it for the first time I noticed that it went bad... brand new product that I had around for way too long, shame on me :(

This is one of my favorite lipstick and of course it is already discontinued. It is Essence Sheer & Shine lipstick in the shade BFF. This is a lovely pinky/red shade. It looks very gloss when applied and stayed like that for quite some time, after it dries completely the soft stain remained and it looked more fuchsia than pink on me. Very, very nice. This was my third and also last shade I had, I can only hope that Essence will come back with this lovely formula.

Kneipp Elderberry lip balm was one of those necessities that I always carry in my purse or have at work. It was a nice little balm which kept my lips in check. I like the formula but the scent/taste was when it lost me. Sometimes this gave me mud/dirt vibes and honestly it was quite surprising and unpleasant. Fortunately that only happened occasionally and it disappeared quickly. I might buy another one from this brand but for sure I will pick another flavour.

Empties

Hello,

a little late but none the less. Here are my empties for the other half of the month.

Avon clearskin blackhead clearing white clay treatment with 0,5% salicyilic acid was clear liquid with white clay at the bottom. After shaking it it mixed and I applied it with the help from a cotton pad all over my face. Honestly, I didn't noticed any difference so I won't be buying it again.

Beauty Glam clear skin serum with 2% saycylic acid was a product I was curious for a while and after finally buying it I used it daily. In the evening I applied generous amount all over my fresh, clean face and then follow with an oil. Again I didn't noticed any big change so probably I won't buy it agin but it did sink in nicely and quick without any sticky residue.

Catrice send me one of these when collection active warrior was out. At the time I was obsessed  with fixing sprays and I thought this one was amazing so I went and bought two more backups. This is the second empty bottle if you are wondering. My craze faded a bit and just recently I started using it up again since I didn't have much left in this bottle and it hit me hard. This make-up fixing spray is really that good. I personally have oily skin and this helped control oils significantly. I had to powder through the day much less and also my make-up looked amazing even after a long day. I'm happy that I have one last back up left.

I purchased this product a couple of years ago. My sister loves the original shea butter hand cream but for me it is way too greasy so when I was actually buying one for my sister I found this gem. At the time I was obsessed with anything with citrus and this one felt right. It is very lime like and the formula is a bit thinner and not so greasy. L'occitane zesty lime hand cream was a nice hand bag cream but the price tag is a bit too high, I much prefer Avon care hand creams.

Catrice generously send me another product that is now empty and it is this Generation Plump & Shine lip gloss in Nude Sapphire shade (it is exactly one year since they send it to me and it is already empty :(  Catrice did not disappoint me with these (yup, I own more than one). Super glossy and shiny glosses are my thing and this one thick almost all the boxes for me. The color was a nice sheer nude, just the way I like it. The formula felt nourishing and comfortable to wear, no sticky business but I only wish that it would last a bit longer.

The very last item is this bright yellow tube of one of my favorite mascaras and it is Avon superextend lengthening mascara in black (I don't even count how many I have already used up, quite a lot I would say). It mostly lengthens and separates my lashes. It also contains some fake fibers which adds to the length, when the formula starts to dry the fibers starts to fall of and that is the clear sign to replace the tube (it doesn't happen all of the sudden with all of them, I just started to notice one fiber today and after two days another one). I still love it and I'm already using new tube of the exact same mascara.

Empties

Hello,

Autumn weather is upon us and if you are anything like me then you're probably catching all the Sunshine that you can get and using more Summer inspired products so the Summer time will last a bit longer.

Lets start with this L'occitane Terre de lumiere radiating hand and body cream. I have used it exclusively on my hands. The packaging is small and fits in all my purses plus the scent is gorgeous. To me it smells like lavender honey (some of my favorite scents) but I wish it wouldn't have shimmers. That being said I'm eyeing the perfume in this scent but I know that I really shouldn't...

Another amazing scent is from this Avon senses range and it is their Happiness body wash with Pomegranate and Freesia scent. I started using it on my vacation and I feel in love with it the moment I opened it up and sniff it. I will for sure repurcase this scent again, as soon as possible.

Another bottle of this Catrice HD liquid coverage foundation in Light Beige is empty (this is my second one). I love the light texture but also its buildable coverage. It doesn't look too fake and this particular shade is my perfect match. I'm already using the new bottle of it.

I received this Nivea Pearl & Beauty anti-perspirant from last years advent calendar and it was fun to try it out (the packaging is smaller than normally but it still lasted me for months). The scent reminded me of fabric softener which is nice because I don't want my deo to take the stage but to rather work with my other scents. The roll-on packaging is my favorite when it comes to these type of products and it kept me fresh but I would say it is more of a deodorant than an anti-perspirant because I was still sweating. I bought another one from Nivea, I initially wanted to grab the same one but I saw sticker new and bought something different ;)

Nivea released these Mix me body lotions trio in Charming, Exotic and Oasis. The idea behind is to mix them to your own liking and while I know it is a gimmick I still caved in because I sniffed them first (well there were scented rings on the outer box and I liked all three scents). Individually I liked all of them, my favorite is probably the Charming one. It is pure Raspberries and Peonies mix and this scent is really close to my heart. Exotic smelled like Pina Colada and Oasis was fresh and clean leaves in the jungle. I really liked mixing the yellow and the green one together while the pink one I mostly used solo. I don't think they are still available but I think they made fantastic job at formulating these scents.

Catrice Vitamin lip treatment in Innocent Rose is jet another one from my big bulk (I snatched five of these vitamin lip treatments before they discontinued them). I only got one of this shade and while it is lovely it gives the slightest hint of color to my lips, mostly it just looks clear. The scent is fruity and moisturizing properties are nice. My lips felt well hydrated while I was applying it regularly. The bottle is small so I go through these rather quickly.

The very last item is this Avon ultra color lipstick in the shade Knock out Pink. This is my oldest lipstick and due its age I have to throw it away (it is still available and perhaps I will repurchase it again after I go through two or five more lipstick cases). It is lovely rose shade with bolder and darker hue. I prefer to wear it more sparingly (more of a dab on the lips rather than a full swipe) and it creates this lovely blushed effect that I love but the reason why I didn't wear it more often is that it doesn't last for as long as I would like so currently I'm trying to find a lip stain that would give me a similar effect.

Zesty Lime

Hello,

L'occitane is one of those fancy stores that always try to lure me in but I rarely step inside. The ladies working there are always so very nice and full of knowledge but my wallet would suffer way too much if I would become a regular ;)
Last year I picked up this little buddy for my birthday.

It is L'occitane's Zesty Lime hand cream. It was love at the first sniff, I would say. They have a lot of flowery numbers in their collection and this one was just so very different.
The scent screams Spring time but I like using it now in cooler months just because it differentiate itself from other typical scents of the season, what can I say, I'm a little rebel at heart  ;)

Zesty Lime is perfect name for it because it perfectly describes the scent. You get it in their paint tube and I like that it has lighter texture (I can't get on board with their original shea butter one because it is way too greasy for me). It absorbs quickly into my dry hands and nourish them nicely and the scent lingers for a long time. I still think it is a little pricey but sometimes we have to indulge our self a bit, right?

Empties

Hello,

I'm a little off schedule with my empties but for that I can 'blame' my vacation. I came back yesterday and it was amazing. I spent a lot of time on the sun with tons of sun cream on so I didn't got burn, next year I'm buying Sun Dance lotions again but maybe not the same ones.

I used up two Sun Dance SPF lotions. The first is the Melon scented foam (last year I bought two of them and used up the Strawberry one in the same Summer). I liked this fresher scent better but otherwise the foam that comes out is sticky (not great for an everyday life but on the beach I don't mind greasy feeling). It was waterproof so especially great for swimming but I used it up pretty fast.
Then I started to use another SPF 30 lotion with coconut scent also a bit greasy, not so much, but this one was a thicker white cream. None of these two was my favorite, one too sticky the other was too white but my skin stayed protected and that is all that matters. Sun Dance has a large collection of sun lotions and every year they come out with some new ones so I'm sure I will find something suited for my needs next year.

To retain moisture I used this Avon naturals Apricot and Shea lotion (not the most moisturizing in the world) but the light texture and pleasant scent convinced me. I think this is my third bottle of this particular one and now it is no longer available so it is also the last one.

Dove makes great deodorants/antiperspirants for me and this one was another winner. I really like the roll-ons even though you have to wait a little longer to dry before putting clothes on. The scent on this Mineral Touch was fresh and clean, just how I want to feel and smell after a long day on the sun.

The very last one is also an oldie. It is Avon Be Serene... perfume. I remember there were three different ones in this Be... collection but I only got the 'blue' one. It smelled very fresh and a bit flowery, nothing too much, think of a fabric softener, something like that. Their original Perceive smells very similar.

L'oreal infallible 24-h matte Vanilla foundation is already repurchased. I love this high coverage, buildable and matte foundation. It is my go-to and I'm already using the new tube. My only complain would be the dark shade but to fix that I buy The Body Shop lightening drops and I adjust the shade every morning to match me perfectly.

Catrice made under TE Active Warrior this wonderful make-up freezing spray. I received one bottle as PR but I went and bought two more bottles. This one is the first one to go but I have backups to last me through this year.

Another Catrice item sent to me was this lashes to kill waterproof mascara. I already raved about it and I still love it. The brush isn't rubbery and that worried me a little at first but after I tried it it was great. It was lenghtening and volumizing, the only thing that was lacking was the curl hold other than that it was really nice and I think I will repurchase it for my sister's wedding which is just around the corner.

This is another repurchase and probably by now everyone has already discovered how great are Catrice concealers. This liquid camouflage Porcellain concealer is especially great for under eye area because it isn't so drying. I love this one around my eyes and the pot version for all over my face. While the cream one lasts very long this liquid one gets used up relatively fast, thank God it is inexpensive ;)

The very last Catrice products is Pure Brilliants Next Stop Golden Gate Bridge colour lip balm I loved the Pure Shine balms but when they were discontinuing them I couldn't find any in desired shade so I picked up this one thinking it would be similar just with shimmer. I was right the formula was similar, nourishing and glossy but the balm is packed with shimmer so I had to be careful not to end up looking like a clown, the orange tint didn't help ether. I would get the Pure Shines one in a heartbeat but the Pure Brilliants left me cold.

We are almost at the finish line with this second Essence invisible kiss transparent lip liner in Multitalent Wonder shade. It is essentially just a clear waxy liner which 'seals' the lips especially if they are dry or chapped. It runs smoothly over lines and makes lips smooth so when I would go over with a tinted lip product no one could tell that my lips weren't in their best condition. I have another backup but I already bought one from Avon which I haven't put it to the test jet.

Essence Pure Nude powder in Nude Beige was so so for me. Nothing too impressive so when I found better ones I started to use this one on my neck (I drag my foundation or BB cream down my neck and chest area, it depends from my shirt cut and because I wear my hair down I have to powder my neck as well otherwise my hair would get stuck). For that I always use powders that aren't my favorite and just use them up, that happened to this one and I'm happy to see it gone.

The Terra Naturi Ivory face powder was on the other hand a very good one. Too bad that it is gone. They repackaged the whole line and while they still have face powders they have different packaging and I don't know if they are the same. I will probably try one in the future but at the moment I think I have four or five quite full face powders that needs to be used up before I get some more.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day

Empties

Hello,

this time I took some more time off from blogging. It is not that I don't have products to talk about, it's just me being lazy and enjoying in the first Spring rays. What about you?

This time around I have really a lot to cover so I will try to be as short as possible.
First product is nothing special, just a body wash but the scent is so charming that I keep buying it. It is Avon Senses Heaven Harmony with Lily of the Valley and Apple scent (I even have it in the hand wash version). I usually just get the big bottle of it (there is even bigger bottle, 720 ml, but it is too big to fit in my shower shelf but I get that one for washing my hands  ;) because I know I won't get sick of it.

Next are too Avon Care hand creams. First is the new with Coconut oil and second is older with Olive oil. Coconut has a slight scent that isn't too overpowering, the texture and ingredients are very similar to the standard/regular Care cream in the blue tube which happens to be my favorite hand cream. This is just the slightly scented version of it and I really like the scent so I already repurchased it. The olive one is creamier and almost a little heavier. It doesn't absorb that well into my skin and also when my skin is super dry it just doesn't help much, the scent is barely there but I won't buy it again because it is not providing my hands with enough moisture. I will rather get the regular Glycerin or the Coconut one.

This used to be my favorite shampoo and conditioner ever. It is Avon naturals Mango and Ginger. I remember when I still lived with my sister we would share it and keep repurchasing it. After a couple of years I bought it again and while I love the scent I don't think it did much for my hair. It is not bad, it doesn't make my hair dry or fizzy but it also doesn't make them silkier or smoother. I don't know, it just isn't outstanding but my sister still loves it. I guess our hair types aren't as similar as they used to be.

The last tube is slightly hiding in there but it is a lotion for Avon from the Cherish the moment line. I used the first one called Cherish and I really liked the scent so much that when they came out with the second version Cherish the moment I knew I had to get it. I liked this one a little better, it is more fruity opposed to floral and they both have something fresh to it. It is the perfect scent for the Spring and maybe someday in the future I will repurchase it again but first I have to go through some lotions that I already have.

I finally finished up this Mavala nail polish thinner. It is not that I was sick of it it is just that I had it for so long but recently I am trying to revive so many nail polishes and my sister is giving me hers to fix so no wonder it got empty. I don't know what would I do without this little miracle wonder, I guess I would have to toss so many beautiful colors :(  I already bought new bottle but this time it is from ArtDeco because they had some discount and it was cheaper, I also tried it and it works so I'm good.

This next bottle is also very old and I don't even know if they make it anymore, probably not but back in the days I used this one constantly. It is Essence gel-look clear top coat. I would apply a thin coat on fresh manicure and at least once during the following days until I would remove it completely and use something else. I used up so many bottles but I don't know when I stopped using top coat because now I rarely use it unless it is some kind of a shimmery or glittery top coat. I still have one bottle of clear top coat and I will try to use it more often if not to make my manicure glossier or to help it last longer then at least to use it up before it dries out completely.

First lip product form the bunch is L'occitane Zesty Lime lip balm. It smelled really nice and the product itself was a bit thicker which is not my favorite thing. At first it looked almost white but when I spread it over my lips it got clear and slightly glossy. It wasn't very moisturizing but the worst thing about it was how gunky it become after a while. I'm always rubbing my lips together and whenever I wore this balm I had to remind myself not to do it because if I did I would push the product on the sides of my lips where it would gather and turn white again, almost as if the sides of my lips aren't warm enough and it got a little thicker. The end result was product buildup especially on my thinner upper lip and to me that looks nasty so I would only use it around my apartment and I was so glad when it was done. For the hefty price tag these just aren't worth it even though I liked the scent.

The next lip balm is from Burt's Bees and it is the already discontinued Tiger Lily, peach shade. I had the pink one as well and both weren't nourishing enough but the color was nice on the lips, nothing too much but if I used it all day long the color could build up and it looked like a little too much (whenever I took it with me I also brought another clear balm and I would alternate, not just because of the color but also to actually moisturize my lips). On the photo below you can see that there is still a little left but I decided to toss it anyways. My lips are getting dry and this non nourishing balm did nothing so why keep it? This was my last lip product for them (I had five in total) and I wasn't happy with any of them so I really don't think I will buy more form BB.

The very- last item is from H&M Beauty and it is one of their cream blushes. Mine is in the Peachy Rose shade that was given to me by my sister. I used it quite a lot but I could use it even more, the shade was beautiful and the formula was very pigmented so I should ether use it every single day or I should have a deeper complexion in order to use it up completely. My heart breaks because it was a gift but it has been with me for two and a half years, the texture is getting more mousse-y and that tells me that it is not safe to use it anymore. I was thinking that I will clean it up and keep the packaging but it doesn't really have any sense. if the compact would have a mirror...
I hear a lot of good things about their powder blushes but the last time I was in the store and I walked through the beauty counters I picked up two more products which will be reviewed soon.

Black Friday Madness

Hello,

Black Friday is already behind us, did you indulge yourself? I know I did. I really needed new boots which I bought with a whooping discount but there was also a drugstore next to it and naturally I went in and didn't walk out empty handed. I actually bought more stuff but some of them are 'boring' necessities or gifts for the upcoming holidays.

I wanted to try the famous EOS sphere balms for so long that I decided to finally snatch them on sale. I wanted to see what is this whole craze over the Pumpkin Space flavour and since it was only available in a set with the Vanilla Bean I picked up the set (I still haven't decided if the Pumpkin Spice scent is okay or I hate it, I will report back after I actually try it).

Labello came out with their version as well and they call them Labellino and since I'm a mint fan I picked the Mint scented one.

In the corner there are my new Real Techniques 2 miracle complexion sponges. The one I'm using right now from Bell cosmetics is great but getting old so I will soon need to replace it and everyone seems to love these orange ones so I hope they will live up to the hype for me as well.

I had my eyes locked on this Essence mosaic compact powder in Sunkissed Beauty for way too long. I'm a sucker for anything multitoned and this bronzer looked light enough for my pale complexion.

The L'occitane Terre de Lumiere radiant balm was an impulse purchase. I went in to only buy some gifts for my loved ones, I didn't want to buy anything for myself but I started talking with the sales lady about the already discontinued Acacia line. She offered me this hand cream to sniff saying that it has similar notes but to her it smells even better. I'm tempted to go back and buy the perfume...(for myself) needles to say that the scent is gorgeous ;).

The last items are new, revamped Catrice Art Couleurs single eye shadows. They feel buttery soft to the touch and I picked four shades, not that I need more. The darkest, bronzey shade is called Mademoiselle Chic, next to it on the top is Like and Subscribe, grey with pink reflex. I think my favorite is softer, bronze shade named Chocolate Cake by the Ocean and the last one at the bottom is the highlighting shade called Metallic Lights.

I'm planing to make individual posts with all of these products after I try them sometimes in the near future.

Empties

Hello,

this month is a little longer but I don't mind. It is my birthday month and the best gift for me is the awakening of the mother nature. I love the fresh breeze, warm sun, blooming trees and colorful plants. This year can finally start and I'm starting it on the positive note and now I can only wish to continue like this.
I have been saving for the past couple of months and that results in lots of empties because I don't buy and try new products but use the same ones until they are gone and this month is not an exception.

I will start with the two body moisturizers, first bottle is Afrodita's anti stress massage oil (I was massaging myself ;) with an amazing lavender and herbal scent. Oil sinked in rather quick so my sheets didn't absorb much and I liked that. You don't need much to moisturize the entire body and this bottle lasted me for a long time. I will repurchase it for sure but first I have to go through a couple of other oils before they go bad on me.

Next is an oldie but a goldie (this is my second used up bottle). It is from Avon Planet SPA line with the Himalayan goji berry which smells like strawberry on steroids, not artificial at all but quite strong, I sometimes used it in the morning and skipped the perfume all together. This line is sadly no longer available but if it will ever come back I'm repurchasing.

Third tube is my favorite face moisturizer. Neutrogena oil free face moisturizer is my favorite and this is my second tube and I'm already on my third one. I discovered it last year and since then I haven't even look for anything else. It has very light texture which absorbs quickly which comes handy in the morning, it moisturizes very well and it doesn't leave greasy film. My oily skin loves it and I will continue repurchasing, the only thing I miss is the SPF but I use primers and BB creams on top which includes sun protection so I'm covered.

My sister is eager to find effective natural deodorant and she tried this L'occitane cooling deodorant with Citrus and Verbena scent (very fresh and clean scented just how I like it, I would even have this scent in the perfume version). She has tried many over the last five years or so and nothing worked, even this one caused painful irritation on her armpits so she offered it to me. I kindly accepted it and I liked it. My armpits aren't as sensitive but after using it two weeks straight they got a bit red and itchy so I skipped a day and the next morning I was fine. I exercised almost every day and the scent was okay, this definitely isn't the most long lasting deo but the scent is lovely however the price tag brought me back on the solid ground. It costs almost 17 € and for that much it has to be perfect so I most probably won't buy any L'occitane deo ever again.

Second to last is Omnia Cosmetics day eye cream with hyaluronic acid. I already used up the thicker night cream and now I finished this one which had gel consistency which absorbed super quickly. I tried it under my eyes but apparently it was too strong because it irritated my eyes (they both did) so instead using it around my eye area I used it all over my face as a serum and I managed to use it up. In the future I will be careful with this ingredient but I'm not sure if it really was the Hyaluronic acid that caused me troubles. Right now I'm using face cream with this acid and it seems fine, I also have two other Hyaluronic acid serums and I will see how they will work. This particular item was available only for a very limited time so even if I would love it I wouldn't be able to get a backup.

And finally the last item is limited edition hand cream from Essence in the Banana and Dark Chocolate scent. The scent is a dupe of the Casali choco bananas desert which I adore. The hand cream was average to me, if I applied a little too much it left my hands greasy but if my skin was really dry and cracked it didn't do much. It was best to use constantly and very little but people were always asking me what my perfume is or what I'm eating when it was just this hand cream ;)

Citrus and Verbena cooling deodorant

Hello,

my sister is constantly looking for a more natural alternative to usual deodorants and so far they all broke her out or didn't work at all. She had high hopes for this one but after a week or two it started to irritate her skin so she asked me if I want to try it. I said sure, wiped the top layer and start using it.

It is L'occitane Citrus Verbena cooling deodorant without alcohol or aluminum salts. It comes in a twist up packaging and the product is very soft and you can feel how it melts into your skin once it touches it.
It holds standard 50 g of product.

It contains an organic Verbena extracts from Corsica and Lemon oil from Sicily (if you were interested where they get their ingredients). I can testify that the scent really is gorgeous. It is citrus-y fresh but at the same time you can get warmer, flowery notes from Verbena. I haven't test it in the most 'problematic' months such as Summer but so far it works for me. I try to exercise every day and my armpit stay relatively fresh which is a big plus and even bigger one is that I'm using it for almost a full month and I don't have any bad reaction to it. Apparently my skin there isn't as sensitive as my sisters is.

So to conclude, I love the scent, it keeps me fresh, it doesn't irritate my skin... you would thought that I found my perfect deodorant, right? Did you checked the price tag? It costs 16,80 €. I don't know about you but for me money still doesn't grow on trees and I don't know what I will do after I finish it up, I guess we will see.
