Asian haul no.1

 Hello,

I couldn't resist and I made another purchase from the same Asian store and I got a bunch of Asian brands, mostly make-up products :)

Since this box was so full I had to split it into three posts

In the white box is Joocyee smokey glazed gloss in Woody Rosy. I still can't get over their cool packaging.

Under is Amuse Face Diamond in Pink Diamond shade (I think it is the only shade available), it looks very glittery, will see if this will look good on my cheeks. I have feeling that it will be more of an eye shadow for me.

In the long box is Bbia over glaze stick in Taro Glaze. A cool toned grape shade that I have been eying for a while now and I am super excited to try it out.

Over it is Cosrx lip sleep full fit propolis lip sleeping mask. They had an event with free gifts if I spent enough money and you can be sure I did ;) When I saw this lip mask was in stock I grabbed it. It has propolis in the name and I hope it smells like it (I haven't opened it jet, I am giving myself some time and not to overwhelm myself by opening and trying everything out at the same time).

Next to it is Heart Percent dote on mood top coating lip plumper in option Mood Changer. They have this line of top coats (the packaging still makes me think it is nail polish) for lips to apply them over other lippies to change tones. Mine is in deep sheer grape color and it is supposed to make everything cool toned, I can't wait to try it out.

On top is my free gift from Fwee. It is lip & cheek blurry pudding pot in shade Faded. I could not choose my shade but I quite like it. The matte formula is not something I would pick myself but since it was free I will give it a go

Two big items on the side are Girlcult Four great inventions series emotion blushers in Leave Blank and True Color. Honestly one of them looks more like a highlighter but I have to try them out. These also have cool packaging and I am eying for more.

Last item is House of Hur glow ampoule tint in Ginger (I actually ordered two shades but the other one was sold out so only this one arrived). It is a lovely nude shade and I am excited to try it out since I am on a hunt for a longlasting tint for my lips.

Empties

 Hello,

this time I combined my empties from the past two months into one. There were some unforgettable products that really made an impact on me.

First is Syoss keratin heat spray. My mom used to love this brand so I decided to try this heat protection spray. It did smell very nice and was very liquid in texture. I don't know how well it protected my hair since heat damage isn't something I can detect quickly. My hair don't look split or dry but I did notice less frizz, so it had to do something :) plus I really liked the scent. I will probably get it again but first I have to use up the product I am using right now.

Big bottle next to it is Bioderma Atoderm ultra-soothing balm, great for sensitive and reactive skin. I had high hopes for it but the best part for me was the packaging. I liked the pump but the product wasn't nourishing enough. My skin went through itchy faze and this balm didn't help me much. I was glad that it was used up and I won't be buying it again.

Next is another body balm and it is The body Shop Argan lotion. The scent on this is divine, the texture is light but the scent just keep on lingering. As weird as it might sound this felt more nourishing on my skin than the previous balm... I would get it again but our shop is closed, I fear that it is permanent.

A little while ago I was eager to find face cream with Salicylic acid and I have purchased a bunch of La Roche Posay products. First to go for a spin was this Effaclar duo + cream with corrective and unclogging care for anti-imperfections lotion. I used this a few days in a row all over my face and little pimples emerge. I stopped using it and after my skin calmed down I used it again and same thing happened so at the end I was using it sparingly, two or three times a week just to get it done. Something in it just doesn't suit me. It could be the zinc but I can't be sure.

This is my second tube of Essence bye, bye panda eyes mascara. I really liked it the first time and my love continues. It coats my lashes, makes them a bil longer and thicker but not clumpy (I don't like the clumpy look), quite natural but a bit more visible and I liked the name as well. It just made me smile.

On the bottom there is Ahava Time to Hydrate active moisture gel cream (I previously had day moisturiser from the same line but this one feels lighter in texture). I was using it in warmer days and it was perfect. The other one felt a bit light and not hydrating enough but I have used it in cooler weather so I did not made the same mistake and I did use this one when my skin didn't need a heavy layer and it was really nice. The mix of gel and cream texture felt perfect. I would get it again for warmer days.

In the past I used up one of these Beauty of Joseon serums and I wasn't too impressed, now I have the remaining two (I know there is a fourth one out there but i don't have it). One is Glow Deep Serum with Rice and Alpha-Arbutin, the other is Glow Serum with Propolis and Niacinamide. The first one felt like water and I used it under moisturisers but with not much of an effect. Second one was my favorite, I assume Propolis made the texture thicker and my face had glow for longer. Somehow I conected that with hydration and under the line the glow serum with Propolis was my favorite but I can't decide if it is worth buying it again.

My favorite COSRX product is this salicylic acid face wash. It creates thick white foam/cast and it is so soft to the touch. I noticed that I was massaging it into my skin for minutes since it is so pleasant and my skin loves it. The active ingredient helps my oily and acne prone skin stay fresh, only thing is that this seems to be out of stock here (it is back :)

At the end I used up two mini hand creams. I love these in my purse as little helpers on the go. I purchased a set of Frudia hand creams, that is the reason I have so many at once. Brown lid indicates richer texture. I am usually not a fan of thicker creams but this particular one in Cactus was an exception. The scent was freas and fruity and the formula quickly absorbed into my skin. The other one is Banana scented (it was like the real fruit but sweeter) and it should be lighter in texture but it wasn't. They felt quite similar besides the scent. I like both of them and would get them again.

Empties

 Hello,

as promised this time I have way more finished items than in my previous post. I was working overtime on some of them to be able to finish them up.

This is already my second and maybe also my last tube of Cosrx Salicyilc acid daily gentle cleanser. I love using it at night after already cleansing my face as a treatment. It is a cream product and it gets creamy and slightly foamy while mixed with water. I just gently massage it onto my face and afterwards my skin feels and looks softer with less texture. I would buy it again if I would find it but I bought from the same brand another one with the same active ingredient and I will see if it is just as good.

Next is this Balea Almon and Cherry Blossom body wash. It smells divine and my first thought was to get a backup immediately but the texture didn't convinced me. It is watery and it doesn't foam... it feels weird and I get a feeling like I'm not properly cleaning my body. I do have another scent which I'm using at the moment and after the second tube is gone I will no longer buy this body wash no matter how good it smells.

In the white tube is Ziaja hand cream with silk proteins and provitamin B5. It is a lightweight cream which absorbs quickly and makes my hands soft but I have noticed that after I wash my hands (even after hours) it just comes off and my hands aren't any better... it looks like it works while it is on but after washing my hands the benefits are washed away. It seems like it doesn't penetrate my skin and work its magic. I did finish it up but I will not buy it again.

Next is basic Jojoba oil by Pflanzen Kosmetik. I primarily used it as my make-up remover. It melts my products nicely and afterwards a gentle cleanser is able to remove it all. In my opinion very simple jet effective product and I have already repurchased it.

This is super old limited edition Carice Bronze away to... hydrating fixing spray. At first I was scared that there will be some shimmer or glitter particles but it doesn't contain any. I really liked this one and I'm eager to see if they will have another LE one this year and in the mean time I just got their 'regular' fixing spray.

Another repurchased item is this Eveline cosmetics Expert C serum with 12% active vitamin C. I love Vitamin C on my skin and how well it combats my hyperpigmentation left after acne. This one is on the inexpensive side of the range and it works so I already have a new bottle of it.

Under is Nuxe Honey balm which was my lip balm of choice for night time and it was really nice. Not quite fantastic so I am using something else at the moment but it is quite possible that I will get it again. I love the honey scent and how greasy it is but at the same time sometimes I thought it was just too greasy, but none the less it was nourishing enough for me to get me through some dry patches in my life.

The last one is my beloved L'occitane hand cream in the Neroli and Orchide Intense version. I'm still not the biggest fan of their formula (they do have different ones, gel has to be my favourite) -this one being a lightweight cream but the scent is what I was sold on. It is a gorgeous sunny and warm neroli and since I love it so much my sister already got me another one as a gift :)

Empties

 Hello,

it is the last day of the spooky month and I have a nice collection of empties.

First item is Avon care replenishing moisture body wash with Avocado. It is a bit creamy so when I squeezed it out it didn't spill out so that is much appreciated. The scent was also very nice and creamy, not sure about the Avocado scent but I really like it. I can see that they repackaged this one and I can only hope that it is still the same because I really like it and I would buy it again.

COSRX Salicylic acid daily gentle cleanser with 0,5 % Salicilyc acid content. It is creamy in texture and I used it almost every day in the shower on already cleansed face. My face really liked it since my skin responds well to the Salicylic acid and using it daily improved my overall look of my skin. It is more clear and if breakouts do come for a visit they are gone faster than usual. I really like this product and I already bought myself a new tube to use in the shower.

Avon wild berries hand lotion with Raspberry, Vanilla and Orange is this next tube. This has to be one of the best scented hand creams but unfortunately the formula for me didn't work. It was a thicker lotion and the cream just sat on top of my hands, leaving  greasy prints everywhere and my hands still felt dry. When I washed my hands hours after applying it it just came off. Avon has better creams but I will miss the lovely scent.

Next is another Avon's product, this is eye shadow quad in the Stone Taupe option. I used up one of the shades and the other three had massive pans showing but unfortunately I dropped it and the remaining powers shatter so there is nothing to show. I loved all of the shades but at the moment I'm in reducing and decluttering so I won't buy it again but after I finish some more shadows this one is likely to be repurchased (light cream shade, sateen taupe, light and dark grey were the shades included-cool toned shadows for lighter complexions).

Mini in there is Clarins lip comfort oil in the shade Honey. I bought four minis from Clarins to try them out (lip oil and lipstick didn't work for me so I already pass them on) and this oil was probably what made me buy it in the first place. This mini held 2,8 ml of product, enough to really try it out. It is yellow but there was thankfully no tint, I expected to have more prominent honey scent but it was very glossy even though it didn't last for long, most oils don't last. The other day I had pretty dry and flaked lips so I thought that this is perfect to test it out since lip oils are supposed to be very nourishing... I didn't notice any difference, my lips remained dry so this product didn't live up to my expectations so I won't be buying it.

The very last item is Essence Mosaic compact powder in the shade Sunkissed Beauty (I think it is the only shade available). It had different shades included and when mixed all together this bronzer had a peachy tone to it while also being very light. All in all this worked very well for me, it was not too warm but peachy tone nicely complimented my cheeks, it did had some random shimmer but I don't think it was very noticeable or at least it didn't bother me. I almost repurchased it but then I decided to use up what I already have and then get it again since this has to be one of my favorites.
