Shell blushes

 Hello,

I have been using these beauties for a while now and outer packaging is cute but blushes inside are stunning. I think these two look very different in the pan opposed swatched.

They are FlowerKnows Shell's Jewel Silk Satin blushes (in my head this is still the Mermaid dream collection :) Beach Starfish and Strawberry Bubble.

Packaging is massive but super detailed as well. I love that inside there is a mirror for easy application.

Beach Starfish is nude with peachy tone and Strawberry Bubble looks bright. It reminds me of juicy Watermelon and this shade scared me a lot. I hoped that it would apply sheer otherwise this blush would not be useful to me.

Embossing is again beautiful and my heart hurts when I have to use them but that is not why I purchased them (yes, it did helped ;) but nude blush was something I was looking for and pink one looked pretty on other peoples cheeks.

Swatches are sheer but buildable and there is also evident tiny silver shimmer in both blushes. Light pigment makes them easy to wear and I love the build in highlighters.
These two blushes are massive hits for me, I am able to use a little amount and get a soft flush of color with sheen.

I like my FlowerKnows blushes but these two are the only two with sateen finish, the rest are matte and finish on these Shell's Jewel blushes is my favorite. Now I am thinking of getting more from this line. I hear the new Unicorn blushes are also glowy... I am interested.

Hazel Fawn

 Hello,

I have another FlowerKnows palette, first one did not impress me. Pigment was there but shades did not impress me hopefully this one will be better suited for me.

This beauty is FlowerKnows Midsummer Fairytales eye palette in Hazel Fawn. It looked neutral and I pretty much always go for the neutral tones. It looked like a safe bet.

Details are again 3D and very beautiful, full of bows and fairies. I also love the magnetic closure.

When opened the neutral shades reveal. All but the middle shades are matte, middle is sparkly one. What surprised me is the similarity of the two brown tones. I hoped for one shade being lighter or at least with a cooler undertone.

I start at the top with the ivory one, on my swatch it is barely visible but applied with the brush it is pigmented and pretty obvious, I love to use it as a matte highlighter.
To the right is deeper and warm toned brown, it leans pretty orange.
Bottom one is soft black. Very dark and pigmented, lovely for a liner or filling in my brows (they are naturally black).
Last brown is also very warm but a bit lighter and slightly more orange toned.
Last two swatches are from the shimmery middle shade. I like that it isn't warm or gold but more taupe, if applied heavy there is slight base color but I like it sheer like it is on the last swatch more dab dab so the shimmer is the vocal point of my look.

I find this palette pretty basic, matte inner corner highlighter, brown for all over the lid, black for lining and brow filler. I am glad that they included the sparkly shade since this one transforms all of my looks and don't make it looking that basic.
I like the palette but it isn't that impressive. Pigment and ability to blend are there but shades are a bit basic and also not up to my taste (I prefer cool tones).

I think I should really stop buying FlowerKnows palettes unless they release one cool toned palette with taupe shades.

Big purchase no. 4

 Hello,

I have some more interesting product, some are from already tried formulas that I know I love and some are new to me and I am even more excited to try them out.

Teddy was a gift with purchase after I bought Dasique Fruity Lip Jam in Jujube Jam balm. Bear is actually a brush meant to apply balm, how cute :) Balm looks super glossy on the lips and I am curious to see if that will be true for me as well and how long lasting the product is.

Next are two Rom&nd Glasting melting Balm in Sorbet Balm and Buffy Coral. I tried one before and formula felt right for me so I purchased more. These two looked like shades I would like and wear daily, hopefully they will look good also on my skin tone.

My love for Peripera has no bounds and I purchased another Ink Glasting Lip Gloss from their Soft Berry Edition in the shade All that Berry. These have amazing scents, shine and longevity is also very good.

Lastly there are three FlowerKnow cupcakes from The Sweetie Bear Coating line. Lippies are Lip Jellys in Peach Tea, Ribbon Pink and Croissant options. I wanted to try one from each color way to get some variety. Previous lip products from FlowerKnows all had grape scent and I will see if they choose to keep the scent, I kind of hope that they will be grapey since it is one of my favorite scents in lip products.

Big purchase no. 1

 Hello,

I am a little late with this package since it has been sitting in my closet for a while. This is my way of punishing myself for buying too much.

I picked three FlowerKnows blushes from their The Sweetie Bear Satin blush range. Some shades looked too similar to one another so I did not picked up all five, the ones that got my attention are Garden Picnic, Rose Chanson and Bear Biscuit. Packaging is sweet looking.

I also got two shades more from Bbia Over glaze in Jujube Syrup and Peanut Syrup. This line is amazing, I already have three shades already and I wanted to try out the more nude shades and these two looked perfect.

The other two with round lids are Clio Volumate glosses in Blushed Candy and Bunny Pure Pink. Clio brand recently got my attention and I wanted to try some items, these two looked sweet on promo photos, I hope they will look the same one me.

Lastly the pink tube is JudyDoll lip essence which I don't think it is sold separately. I received it as a gift with purchase and slowly but surely JuddyDoll is getting one of my favorite brands. Giving gifts with purchase helps to fall in love even more.

Rouge Snow & Pearwood

 Hello,

I picked these two muffins from FlowerKnows in the more natural looking tones. These look very cute and I hopped that I could also reuse them jewellery boxes.

They are FlowerKnows Butterfly Cloud Collar Highlighting & Blush duo powders in Rouge Snow (white) and Pearwood (black). There are five options to choose from and I picked the most natural ones.

Details on these cupcakes are beautiful, everywhere I look there are butterflies.

I love that they matched and carried details also on a opening clasp.

They are beautiful to look at and colors are in such harmony.

Details are also all over the powders, so so beautiful but mine almost completely lost it (I use them a lot :). There is very little powder kick from these, way less than expected.

First swatch comes for the white duo and first one is ivory, more highlighting (still matte) or nice for blending or mixing with too dark shades. Second is light nude with a rosy undertone.

Second pair is from the black cupcake. Third is peachy nude and last one is nude with some rosy tones. Both are nice blush shades.

All of the shades are very pigmented, here I only made two layers of each shade just to make them a bit more even, pigment is there.

These shades are really beautiful for my complexion. I love wearing them. I went back and checked other options and there is also one pink duo which looks nice for me as well... but I feel like all I want to wear on my cheeks at the moment are nudes... I use these also on my eyes to get a cohesive nude look through my entire face.

These are probably my favorite FlowerKnows items :)

Coconut Latte and Coral Conch lip glaze

 Hello,

I am back with another post of these pretty lip glosses. I know I say that for all of them but this packaging is truly my favorite, white hits different. So, so very pretty and I hopped I will find some of my favorite shades within this white line.

They are FlowerKnows Shell's Jewel Nourishing Lip Glazes in Coconut Latte and Coral Conch. Oh my, is this packaging beautiful.

Little detail on the top, I still love the little pearl and gently touch it and being extra careful not to damage it.

I really like the white packaging where all the details can shine, I just hopped that the two shades I picked out would also be my favorite from the bunch...

Wands carry enough product for my thinner lips but for someone who has more real estate would have to reapply with another coat.

Grape scent is still one of my favorites and present in these two.

Coconut Latte is cool toned beige/brown shade. My camera did not want to show just how cool toned it is, I feel bottom photo is better representation of both shades. At first it is quite pigmented and looks a bit off (maybe is just me who isn't used to it) after 10 min it sort of settles and becomes one with my lips and then it looks great. Still cool toned brown but more in tune with my lips.
Second is Coral Conch and to me it is more red than coral but still not typical red. It looks super natural on me and my boyfriend thought I was wearing only clear gloss. It gives reddish color but it is such a natural tone, expected red on the lips that it looks natural and not too much.

These two shades caught me by surprise. I am surprised at just how much I like them.

I really like this line of glosses and to think which are my favorite... from the pink side I liked the most Stellar Nacre (neutral nude with slight orange tone and it looks very natural on me, similar to Coral Conch but the undertone is different).
In the blue line I liked the most Seafoam Glow (ashy rose, opposite of bright rose shade) and Shell Heart (strawberry cream but again not bright, just a bit of rosy-red shade to fill the color on my lips).
Lastly, from this white range I think I like both equally. They are different enough but still work well with my complexion.
I tried 7 shades and I think I would repurchase 5 of the, the other two aren't bad but I would just rather wear other five from y list of personal favorites.

Blooming Days and Valley Lily

 Hello,

look at these pretty blushes, somehow they remind me of juicy strawberries, anyone else? Probably the rose buds on top reminiscent of the fruit in the basket...

They are FlowerKnows Midsummer Fairytales Velvet embossed blushes in Blooming Days and Valley Lily. I guess I am in my peach/coral and nude cheek era and I thought that these two would be the best for me right now.

The packaging is again over the top with Fairies and roses (I still think the are strawberries ;).

Green one holds the nudy blush and the packaging is bulky (as all FlowerKnows items are) and hold 5g of product each.

Blooming Days is pastel coral and Valley Lily looks nude in the pan. They both swatch brighter and more vivid on my skin.
There is also no shimmer, so matte and blurring effect is applied.

They are different shades but on me, since I apply them lightly not so much. Both bring brightness to my face but not too much difference is visible.

I like the packaging even though it is bulky, I also like the shades but I wish they would have sateen finish. I am always up for some glow :)

Seafoam Glow, Shell Heart and Lunar Jelly lip glazes

 Hello,

more FlowerKnows lip glosses for today. They are pretty to look at but the formula on them is really catered to my taste.

They are FlowerKnows Shell's Jewel Collection of Nourishing Lip Glazes. Here is the full blue line of gloses, all are supposed to fall in the cool toned category. In order they are Seafoam Glow, Shell Heart and Lunar Jelly.

Beautiful shell with the pearl on top is the star but I am still so very scared that it will fall off.

Packaging is pretty but bulky, these hold 4,8 ml of product. Tubes look like there should be at least 10 ml of gloss.

Applicators are slightly tilted but otherwise pretty normal sized. They have that signature sweet/sour grape scant that I love so very much.

Seafoam Glow is described as ash rose and while it is rosy it does have some muted tones in it to tone it down and prevent any brightness.
Shell Heart is in the middle and brand describes it as strawberry cream. While this one is also pink it has bright tones mixed in it and makes a little more impact with the shade.
Last is Lunar Jelly and this one does not have base color but instead it is filled with tiny blue shimmers (I see this trend everywhere, Asian brands predominately love adding blue shimmers.

They are very glossy and very sheer. The difference between first two shades worn on the lips is minimal (I tried them bot at the same time each on one half of my lips) so even though one is brighter on the lips this color seen on the swatches fades.

I love the scent and how sheer they are, for me this isn't the negative but a plus. A lot of lip glosses now comes with very pigmented colors and they are hard to maintain on the go or they start dripping or outside in the wind hair get stuck on them are leave colorful marks all over cheeks (happen to me with a bright pink and very longlasting formula while having coffee with my friend who did not tell me about it).

Personaly I don't buy clear lip gloss because they are not visually stimulating enough, I would much rather  buy a lip gloss that looks like there is some color even though they look clear on the lips. The only exception is for 'fixing' some of more pigmented ones. Let me explain, I have some lip glosses that I find a bit too pigmented but I still nice, what if I would have clear one and somehow pour a little bit of the pigmented one into it? To make it more sheer?
This idea is still in developing but I am thinking about it... however these FlowerKnows glosses don't need that sort of 'fixing'.

Bluebell lip lacquer

 Hello,

I picked up another FloweKnows lippie. I still have so many to try out, I wanted something shiny so I picked out something that looks like a gloss.

On the photo there is FlowerKnows Midsummer Fairytales Coating lip lacquer in Bluebell shade. I also wanted a pink shade but it was sold out.

Bottle is detailed and quite chunky but I like that it holds 5 ml of product which means that it will not be used up super fast but this tube is probably the chubbiest among all my glosses.

This wand is elongated and super soft. Scent is again grape like but I feel like it is less strong and fades quicker than the one from Shell's Jewels lip gloss collection.

Bluebell is reddish shade but on the sheer side. I feel like it gives me some life when my lips are pale or evens them out when they are pigmented. It is actually close in shade to my natural pigmentation.

This lip lacquer feels thin like lip oil, it is not cushiony. It gives a nice amount of shine but it isn't the glossiest. I wish it would have more of a mirror shine but on the other hand it is pretty long lasting. I thought that it would disappear within 20 min but it lasts for a little over one hour, quite impressive for such a light formula.

I like the packaging but its size takes a lot of space. Shade is lovely, I love that it is buildable and I love the grape scent.

I wish it would be shiner and that is the reason I will not be getting more shades from this line. Nothing wrong with it but a personal preference (for me Shell's Jewels glosses are worthier for me).

Moonlight Pearl

 Hello,

this palette stole my heart the minute I saw it online. The mermaid theme and cool toned color scheme did it for me. Fingers crossed that the formula is just as good as they are claiming to be.

It is Flower Knows eyeshadow palette from Shell's Jewel Collection in the shade Moonlight Pearl, the cool toned option with six shades inside.
I love that the shape is an oyster and shades inside are the true pearls (figuratively speaking)  :)

Just the details up close. There are shells and starfish sprinkled all over and there is also pearl shift on the light grey panelling, very beautiful.

I love that they continued the theme with the pans, it just ties everything together. Four of them are matte and two extra sparkly shades.

I am starting with the first sparkly star which has a bit of a cool toned champagne base and lots of sparkles. It is buildable and very sparkly. Most of the sparkles are silver (app. 60%) and there are gold (app. 40%). The effect is still cool toned.
Next is the biggest pan in the palette. Shade is soft but on my skin it deepens and it is cool toned rose shade. Light enough to be worn all over or layered to deepen outer corners in the unusual shade.
Second star does not have a base color. Most of the particles are pink and there are also some silver ones in between.

Bottom row starts with a cream matte shade, it blends into my skintone even though it is a slightly paler but it is great to set my primer or soften the deeper shades. I wish they would offer this one in the largest pan because it will be the first to be used up :)
Grey in the middle can be very pigmented, great to deepen my outer corners or apply it in a more sheer matter to use it as an all over base over my entire lid. Did I mention that I like cool tones on my eyes?
Last shade in the pan looks soft matte brown but on my skin it has slight berry tone. I am not the biggest fan of this one but I appreciate something different to try it out.

My skin has this tendency to make everything warmer, even the grey (second to last) has warmth in it :) I am always on the hunt for a useful and everyday cool toned palette.

Here I tried to captured both shimmers but my camera just can't capture the beauty of them, here they look very meh but in real life they are beautiful but also not that different from one another. Silver is the main and recurring shade of sparkles.

This palette takes a lot of space which I don't love but the outer packaging I find very nice. Shades look beautiful in the palette but are different on the skin. I love the sparkles but they are very shiny and obvious so I don't wear them everyday. The one in the largest pan I wish would be cooler and less rosy, last one comes off too berry and grey is not cool enough for me. As a whole, this palette looks lovely but on my skin and paired with my taste I see that I just don't love it. The shades aren't my everyday colors and while I will still use it it will not become my favorite one.
