Neon Red?

 Hello,

for today I have prepared the cutes lip balms that I have ever had. Juicy Peach (top one) I already finished up a few years ago and I only kept the lid as a little token (but I also use it as a pencil top so it is multitasking).

The one that I finish up this time around is Tony Moly Petite Bunny gloss bar in the shade Neon Red. I think that the name is a bit misleading since it is not red but bright pink.

It comes off pink but slowly it turns brighter and more fuchsia, at least on me. It also has some staining properties, through the day it just builds up the color and looks brighter and brighter. For me these balms aren't really moisturising, it is cute packaging and the fun colours.

I am again keeping the lid and reusing it. It makes me smile when I look at them :)
I remember saying after using up the first one that I won't buy more and technically I didn't, this second version was given to me by my sister who thought that the cute bunny was something I would like and she was right. Love the packaging but the balm itself just wasn't my favourite.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day

 Hello,

this time I don't have a lot of products but almost all of them are make-up... I'm super happy to finally finish up some of my colored cosmetics since I find these to be much harder to get through plus some of these I almost got tired of and I can't wait to start using something else as a replacement.

First is my beloved Bioderma anti redness cream, it is a staple in my skincare routine for years now. I use it every second day at night time and my face is less red in the morning. The texture isn't too greasy which I appreciate as well. I already have a new tube and this cream will always be in my bathroom.

Next is MAC studio face and body foundation in the shade N1. On the bottom photo you can see swatch and on me this pulls yellow/orange and it is too dark. My solution was to apply it sheer... but then there is no coverage... I of course bought it blindly to get such an off matching but at the end I made it work. I was using it lightly on my neck, to avoid 'make-up face and bare everything else' look, just to have a sheer layer on my neck to help blend my face foundation better. I will not buy it again since the formula didn't work for me.

I finally finished up a blush! So very happy to see it gone. It was a lovely pastel peach shade and it will be missed but at the same time I'm ready to use something else as well. It is Tony Moly Salmon Nude shade but to me it is nether Salmon or nude like. It was completely matte and light in pigmentation. I really liked the formula since it was hard even for my pale complexion to get too much blush and I like sheer blushes, they work for my style of make-up.

The very last item is Catrice generation plump & shine lip gloss in the shade Rosy Amber. It was a light nudy-pink shade. On me a little too light and milky but a light layer looked ok. I loved the formula just the shade wasn't my favorite but I still made it work. I would not repurchase this shade (I think it is already discontinued) but I have one more to go through and that shade is more up my alley.

Hello,

I took a bit of a break from blogging but I think that now I'm back. There was no particular reason for absence, I just needed to rejuvenate, charge my batteries and blogging just didn't fit in. I will slowly started to dip my toes back into the water and if it will feel right...
We are at the end of the new month and it is time to get rid of my trash  ;)

First is Avon's Today for Him body wash and shampoo. I really liked this scent (sometimes manly fragrances feel right) and I used it exclusively on my hair. It cleansed my hair really well (I like to coat my hair with some oil and some of the shampoos just can't wash it off), removed all of product buildup and my hair were not dry but rather smooth and shiny. I think it is still available and I will soon pick another tube of it.

Avon naturals 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner with  Basil and Lotus flower was another great shampoo for my hair. It made them smooth and sleek, kind of like how they look after a fresh cut. Very bouncy, healthy and shiny. The scent was very soft but so so nice. I manged to get another bottle before it sold out. I would definitely get more if I could.

Avon Senses Xtreme body wash with main notes of  Grapefruit, Amber and Cedarwood. The scent was very manly and as I said previously sometimes I really like it on myself especially under the shower. Somehow this type of scent makes me feel extra clean. I did liked this scent but I know they have many more so probably I will try something else next (at the moment I have Magnolia scented one and that suits me at the moment).

Himalaya Foaming Neem face wash is one of my favorite face washes. It foams really nicely and manages to remove all of my make-up, even mascara and while taking it all of it doesn't irritate my eyes. Right now I'm using something else but just today I was at the store where they had -50% on this face wash and I grabbed two more bottles even though it is not expensive (full price is a bit over the 5 € mark).

Another one of my favorites is this Neutrogena oil free moisturizer. I have stopped counting through how many tubes of this I went but this light and jet moisturizing formula convinces me every time. Great for oily and dehydrated skin.

The big pot in the middle is Avon Skin so Soft body butter with Jojoba oil. This one was new to me and while I like this formula and it smelled really nice in the packaging when I put it on my skin I was a bit disappointed. It still smelled nice but it was so faint... I probably won't get it again but the one in the pink box...  ;)

Avon Planet SPA nourishing face mist with Damask Rose was a lovely face mist. Actually this is my second bottle but I remember they only sold it for a very short time and together in a set (face mist, massage face mask and body oil, all three products smell divine). I loved it on my bare face, over moisturizer or make-up. It just made my face look more hydrated and especially when I wore make-up and I would spritz some on top it always made it look better. I'm so sad that they don't sell it anymore but the Lavender one from Melvita also does the trick for me but their Rose one doesn't. Thank god I also like Lavender ;)

The big golden egg is Tony Moly egg pore face primer. It was one of my first face primers and I really liked it. It was silicone based one so something appropriate for my oily skin and I managed to use almost entire pot but a little bit was left inside but it got dry and a bit flakey so I decided to just throw it away. I like it but when the months went by I find out better ones so I won't be repurchasing it.

Another favorites of mine is this little pot of magic. Avon Anew nutri-advance eye cream is very rich and nourishing and I can see the difference when I use it for a couple of days. My eye area looks fresher, more plumped and younger. This one is a definite must in my night time skin regime. At the moment I'm testing something new but it doesn't even come close.

Avon Classic Beige lipstick is super old so I don't even know which line it belonged but I really like the slightly glossy feel but after a while it settled and left a nice even stain on my lips. The tone is rather brown but I liked it. If this would still be available I would get a full size and I would check some other shades because of the amazing long lasting formula.

The very last item on that photo is from Slovenian brand Milnica and this is their Green tea Elixir. It is very liquid (watery consistency) and brown toned but I was so surprised at how moisturizing it felt on my skin. A little bit went a long way so this bottle lasted me for quite some time. The only 'flaw' is that it made my skin very dewy, glossy (if you have oily skin then you know that this is a big no no) but I have 'solved' in the only way I could. I used it at night when I don't care how glossy or greasy I look ;)  This is already on my to buy list but I would like to use up some other elixirs/serums first but then I will get it again.

For the end I have two of my currently favorite face powders. The fist top one is Essence All about matte fixing compact powder waterproof version which is white. It also comes in a regular non waterproof version (red writing) which was my favorite for a while but then these two replaced it (seriously, if you have oily skin try these two). The only complain I have about it is that it makes me so pale. I'm pretty white but apparently I'm not white as a fresh milk. Thank god I had some powder which is too dark for me but applied on top of this one it was perfect. I already repurchased it, this Essence one, not the darker one from Benecos. That one is still quite full  ;)

The next one is already my second Catrice All matt plus in Transparent which is very close to my skin color (still a bit lighter but not really noticeable, is comes in white and two other darker shades). This one doesn't keep my skin matte for so long as the Essence one does but it is great for touch-ups because it just doesn't look cakey. I kept it at work and I powdered if I needed and my make-up looked nice throughout entire work day. This one is also already repurchased and in good use.

Hello,

this time around I'm having a lot of face products. I'm trying a lot of new stuff and some older ones that didn't convinced me have to go.

First and second tubes are two Holika Holika discontinued Petite BB creams. In the yellow packaging is Bouncy with nice coverage but way too dark for me so I barely used it. Second is Aqua and while the shade matches me better it has barely there coverage so I only used it on my neck to connect my face with the rest of my body.

The white tube is my second Avon Anew clinical advanced resurfacing peel with 10% glycolic acid. Inside you get 30 soaked pads which you rub over cleansed face and if you have some dry skin, acne or just sensitive skin it will lightly burn or tingle. It didn't bother me too much but I wasn't using them regularly so I can't tell if they worked for me. As I mentioned this is my second pack but I won't be spending my money on something I'm not even sure if it works for me.

The bottle on top is my beloved Afrodita great burdock hair oil. I swear that this oil is magical as it helps my hair grow faster (even my sister and mom can verify that because they both are using their own bottles of it). I talked about it here.

This lip balm was sent to me but I was so interested in it that I would probably spent my own money on it but at the end I'm glad that I didn't. This was very average balm that did very little for my dry and chapped lips but it smelled so nice, like a true Mango. It is from Essence & the lovely little things LE and was named & we kissed.

The last two tubes are both from Korean brands and are green make-up bases. First is Tony Moly Baby Doll make up mint base and second is The Face Shop air cotton green make up base. I did buy them on two different occasions and were my first make up primers and at the beginning I was excited about them but later I discovered better ones so these two were left forgotten. I know I had them for so long and that they probably already went bad so I'm tossing them before they start to reek.

Hello,

I feel like I'm tossing a lot of products away lately which is good and bad at the same time. I'm talking about items that aren't done completely and I'm getting rid of them because they went bad (I have way too many products) or because I realized that my taste changed and I don't want to wear them anymore.

That being explained I will start with the Himalaya purifying neem face mask. I had another clay mask from the same brand in the past called Clarina and I liked it a lot but it was very intense. It felt like it was burning my skin off while it was on my face but the next day my skin looked much better. I would say that this one is more mild, it didn't burn but at the same time it made my skin more clear and smooth. Maybe it wasn't as efficient after just one use but it was more comfortable so I will repurchase this one in the future. Right now I will try to go through the pure green clay that I have and after that I will get myself another tube of this one.

Next one is Balea hand and nail chamomile cream. It is very small, only 30 ml but I think they sell it in bigger size as well. I bought it only because I used up the hand cream I had at work and I just knew that my hands won't go through 8 hour shift without a moisturizer so I ran to the drugstore which is just around the corner and got myself a mini because I have tons of lotions at home. It had a lovely calming chamomile scent and it did absorb fast but after I washed my hands they were still dry. I think it was just sitting on my skin and did nothing. The scent alone is not enough to repurchase it but I will look what other brands have to offer in that scent.

Next are the two blushes and nether of them is used up. They are the oldest ones and I rarely use them so I just decided to toss them. I don't think I will miss them since I used them so rarely.

The peachy-coral is Skin Food Cheek Chalk in Peach shade. This is a cream blush and it comes with a little sponge which I found useful until I washed it the second time. It started to fall apart so I tossed it but then I had to stick my fingers in it and I didn't use it much. The opening is small and if you have long nails then you know the struggle. I have a lot of similar blushes in powder forms that I prefer to use so I couldn't justify this little pot anymore.

Second one is Tony Moly delight petite blusher in the Petite Peach color. It is a hot cool toned pink color and where I live we don't have peaches in that color, at first I thought that they messed my order but that is the actual color of the product. I have warm undertone and such a cool pink doesn't suit me and I think I never wore it in public, I tried to make it work but with no success. It looks all adorable when you get it because it comes with a large fluffy puff (imagine old fashioned powder boxes, they had this type of 'applicator' or think of a polar bear fluff). I immediately washed it (I don't know who have been toughing it) and it started to shed like crazy so I never used in. It was a bit of a bummer but what really seal the deal was the shade that just didn't match with my skin tone.

On the bottom there is my second tube of Avon true color supreme length nourishing mascara in brown/black (only because I bought two when they came out and before trying it out). For me this was average, it made my lashes a little darker and combed through but still very natural to the point that my co-worker asked me why I don't wear any mascara! Seriously? It does look natural but does it look like nothing? Well, I could see it but it didn't give me the fake lash effect so I was happy that it finally dried up and now I'm using one of my favorites (Avon supershock max) and boy, oh boy I can see a big difference.

For last I saved the two eye pencils.
The little one is Essence Blossoms etc. LE in the shade I like. I would never get a shade like that but I won a giveaway and it was sent to me. It was a cool toned green with silver shimmer which I mostly wore on top of black pencils to give some sparkle and now at the end I wore it all over the lid as a secondary base to make warm shadows a little less warm or yellow. It was nice for cooling down the looks but at the same time I'm super happy to see it gone because it was several years old.

The silver one is Avon Color Trend in Silver and probably my oldest one in my collection. I remember I used to love it but now I hardly ever wear cool toned eye shadows and even when I do I prefer to use the simple black or grey pencil and this one was just left in the back forgotten. I  decided to pick it up but it got very dry and I don't want to hurt my eyes and skin with it so it is going in the bin, I have plenty of other pencils that I love and would rather use.

They are both very reflective but the green Essence one has silver shimmer in it while the Color Trend one is metallic with no visible particles. I remember it was part of the Valentine's Day collection many, many moons ago but they still make great soft pencils under this line. I only wish they would expand the color selection because now it is a bit generic but the formula is still buttery soft.

Hello,

this month ended in a snap so as it seems, right? Am I the only one?
I have used up an array of different products and I have to admit that most of them didn't convinced me to repurchase them again, I say most not all.

I will start with Avon Anew clinical advanced resurfacing peel with 10% glycolic acid. Inside you get 30 soaked pads (I suggest storing them upside down or occasionally flipping them). I used them on clean face in the evening and often I experienced light tingling which resulted in red skin (I have very sensitive skin and pretty much everything makes it flip) but that is the reason I used it only at night so my skin got some rest over night. I should use it ever third or fourth day but I didn't, I was too lazy and therefore I didn't see strong results. I thought that they aren't worth it, I'm not blaming the product but my lack of using it but a couple of campaigns back they were so inexpensive that I bought another box and now I promised to myself that I will use them regularly and see if they are really worth it.

The lipstick on top of it is my oldest one and it is Avon Color Trend in the shade Vino Disco. The shade is gorgeous, deep wine with some light in it (it is really hard to describe, you should see it in person). I decided that I will toss it at the end of May since it is so old that I'm scared to use it but it remains one of my favorites (If it would still be available I would get it in a heartbeat).

On the first swatch there is just one swipe so you can see the crazy pigmentation and beautiful color but I wore it as a stain, softly blended out which is shown on the second swatch. Worn like that it easily survived a meal or coffee run. To me this formula was perfection and I can only hope that Avon will once bring it back.

Avon naturals body lotion with Cherry Blossom was nice. To me it smelled more like gummy Bears than cherries or cherry blossom but I was okay with it. I liked the light texture which absorbs fast and makes my evening ritual shorter. I like this line of moisturizers but there are so many different scents that I want to try that I most probably won't repurchase this particular one again.

A'pieu nonco tea tree emulsion was a nice addition to my evening skin care routine. I used it all over my freshly washed face and then topped it off with some kind of oil, if my skin felt dry I used some night cream on top of it as this alone wasn't moisturizing enough (emulsions aren't even meant to be used alone). Under the line I liked it but I don't think it was anything special so probably I won't repurchase it.

Let's jump onto the hair care with Avon Advance Technique Instant Repair 7 conditioner. Last month I used up the shampoo and I wasn't impressed and I said that the conditioner is better, especially for dry hair. Now I have been using it in combination with different shampoo and I haven't noticed any big difference and that makes me think that the shampoo from this line really isn't something I would promote but the conditioner is nice but probably I won't buy it again (there are way too many hair treatments that I want to try in the near future).

Second to last is Alverde night cream with chamomile and hamamelis designed for sensitive skin. I can't remember when exactly I bought it but it has to be more than a year ago. I had way too many night creams and this one was just waiting to get its turn and after I opened it I noticed weird scent but after a couple of minutes it settles and I can definitely detect both herbs mentioned in the name. The texture also doesn't feel right, it is a bit grainy and it makes me think that it went bad so I'm too scared to use it anywhere on my body so I'm tossing it. Will I buy it again? Nope, and I am on a face cream ban until I finish all of them up.

The last item is the cutest, it is Tony Moly Petite Bunny gloss bar in the shade Juicy Peach, I made a whole post about it here. It is cute little pencil styled lip balm that smells like an undefined fruit and it is pink tinted. The moisturizing properties are poor and therefore I won't be spending my money on it again but the packaging is really cute.

Tony Molly egg pore silky smooth balm

Hello,

did you ever wanted to have a Hen which lays golden eggs? Well, I don't know where you can get chicken like that but you can buy golden eggs.

This is Tony Molly egg pore silky smooth balm (face primer) in beautiful and also big golden egg.

When you open it up the design doesn't fall flat but it continues. Yellow plastic/yolk part is removable and inside is the actual product.

The texture is really balm like and has no scent. At first it looks white but when it melts into your skin it goes translucent.

If you see how much of the primer I took out compared to my hand, that is the amount for the whole face. A little of it goes a long way. First time when I used it I put too much and it balled up and looked yucky, so apply very little at time, you can still go back and use more.

Here I took some of it and bled it into my skin (right side of my hand) where my skin looks more blurred.
I should buy it sooner and test it in hot weather because now my skin is dry and this primer doesn't perform the best. I have to avoid dry patches on my face because it will accentuate them but on the other hand it makes my skin feel super soft. Primer has this silicone-y feeling but it doesn't smooth my pores, I think it does nothing about them.

In my opinion this primer is better when my skin will be oily which will happen in the Summer but for now it makes my face look even more dry and patchy. If your skin is oily all year round this could be for you but I will have to wait another six moths to start using it again.

order from e-bay

Hello,

yesterday I went to my post office to get my packages from Korea. I was so excited that I tore all of the boxes while sitting in the parking lot outside of post when I live 5 minutes away. I just couldn't wait  ;)

I used up a sample of a face primer and it was so fantastic. I tried to find it on the almighty e-bay but I can't, talk about disappointment. I did some research and decided to pick up Tony Moly silky smooth balm. It is a face primer in a cute golden egg shaped packaging (I definitely see myself reusing it for some smaller jewelry pieces).

In the back there are three Tony Moly Pomegranate sheet masks which I won on an auction. I'm telling you, they are like little devils. I get sucked in and bid on products I have no intention to win and when I'm the last one standing I act surprised. I will tried them but my expectations are low. I already tried this type of masks, sheet masks and I talked about it here.

Last we have A'pieu pastel blusher but honestly this shade is supposed to be organized under bronzers. It is in the shade BR01 (I couldn't find any other 'real' name so I'm naming it Fred). So far I can tell you that it is matte and looks light enough for paler complexions.

Next week will be fun and I will try to report back as soon as possible.

Petite Bunny

Hello,

today it started to snow again. It is also much colder than this past week. That made me think that it would be appropriate to include something balmy and moisturizing but also fun.

Tony Moly Petite Bunny gloss bar Juicy Peach

Isn't it cute? I'm normally not into pink and cutesy packaging but this little one really got me. I couldn't resist to try at least one.

The full name would be Tony Moly Petite Bunny gloss bar in the shade Juicy Peach. It is more pink than peach especially when I swatch it on the back of my hand. On the lips it gives a hint of gloss and a little bit of color.

Tony Moly Petite Bunny gloss bar Juicy Peach swatch

It has a very pleasant scent, it reminds me of candy but it is really faint. I have been using it for a month now and I can barely smell it. When I apply it on my lips it is non detectable. The formula is moisturizing but nothing too special. I had better lip balms for cheaper. I got mine of e-bay and they are little over 4 dollars. They are not too expensive but in my opinion they don't really deliver much. I like the cute packaging but everything else is rather average. I don't think I will buy more even though they look adorable. Maybe if I will find them on sale I will pick more and use them up and keep the empty packaging for decoration.

Tony Moly primer

Hello,

today I will introduce to you my very first primer. I always thought that this is unnecessary step and I never gave any attention to them. Recently I decided to be more open about make-up and try new things (hello lip liner and blush). I choose this green  tinted primer to help reduce my redness.

Tony Moly Baby Doll Delight make-up base in Clear Mint

This is Tony Moly Baby Doll Delight make-up base in Clear Mint (there is also Clear Lavender version).  I noticed that my bb-creams apply better and I don't get as shiny/greasy as usually. It allows bb-creams to stay dewy but not overly greasy.

The color is almost white with a hint of mint. It is more liquid as I expected but nothing I can't handle it. The tube holds 30 ml product and this will last me for a really long time since you need the tiniest amount. I don't think the green tint in it makes my skin less pink but because it is so pale it lighten up my entire face. The other shade, lavender, also looks so light that there is probably no reason to own both because they do the same thing, makes you paler. I don't mind the tint since I apply bb- cream on top and I look human again  ;)
I like this primer but I feel I can't really judge it properly because it is the first I ever tried. Don't worry I already ordered another different one  ;)
I have one complaint about it. I know that it is not meant to be worn on its  own and there is a good reason behind it. I suggest to apply little by little because thicker coat is harder to move around and it doesn't blend in your skin properly. You end up looking all pale uneven and patchy, it really doesn't look good but when I start layering bb-cream they somehow melt together and the result is much better almost airbrushed.
I will continue using it because I like the finished result and so far it doesn't break me out.

e-bay order

Hello,

I have been waiting for this package for a long time but now it is finally here. Be careful if you will ever order stuff from Korea that you don't exceed the highest allowed value of the package,  I did and I had to pay tax :(  so now all the things I ordered aren't as cheap as I expected. Next time I will rather buy less or at least wait that seller will ship my package and than ordered another bunch. Lesion learned.

I literally got these items today so I didn't even have the time to play with them but they will get my full attention. There are two brow pencils which are for my sister but she doesn't know that yet, it will be a surprise for her.
The other two products are for me and they are both from Tony Moly, one is a beautiful blush and the other one is a make-up base.
After I will try them I will post a short review if I like them or not.

Salmon Nude

Hello,

not that long time ago (maybe two weeks ago) I got into blushes. Before that I have never worn one but now I own three and today I will show you one that I think is my favorite.

Tony Moly Cheektone blush Salmon Nude

This is Tony Moly Cheektone blush in the shade Salmon Nude. I have to admit that I purchased this one without seeing any proper swatches online. I just liked the name and based on that I placed my order. On the picture the color is pretty darn close. I thought that it will be a bit more pinky-peachy shade since they named it Salmon but it looks quite orange-y but it blends in nicely.

On my super pale skin this one looks amazing if I may say. It has no shimmer but still it makes my skin glow a bit and I blame this particular color for that. I think peachy blushes makes you look healthier and this one does just that. It revitalizes my complexion without looking unnatural. I would show you how it looks on me but my camera hates me.

Tony Moly Cheektone blush Salmon Nude swatch

Here it is on my hand and you can barely notice it. My face is a bit lighter than my hand and it shows a bit better but it is not super pigmented. I don't mind if the blush is not over pigmented I actually think this is even better because no one wants clown checks. It is easier to layer more sheer stuff than deal with crazy pigment at least in my opinion.
There are six more shades with lovely names such as Marmalade or Deep Kiss Lover or Wink Coral... for now I have enough blushes but when I will feel like I need one more blush  I will definitely cheek this line and pick some more Cheektone blushes from Tony Moly.

Thank you foe reading and have a nice day

e-bay purchase

Hello,

today I ran to the post office because another package was waiting for me (I'm there so frequently that post clerks already know me by my first name). I could say that this time the package was a bit smaller, only three products.

Skin Food, Tony Moly and A'pieu

On the top there is Skin Food Buckwheat loose Powder in Transparent, Tony Moly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar in shade Juicy Peach (how cute it is) and A'pieu Nonco Tea Tree oil (I have acne prone skin and I can't find tea tree oil in stores so I ordered it).

I will give myself a few days to properly test them and than I will report back.

e-bay order

Hello,

yesterday I picked up a package I ordered through e-bay. I was waiting for this one for a while and when I sat in my car I rip open the box to see the goodies. For now I am just taking photos and testing them but when I will try them for real and form an opinion I will share my thoughts about them here.

Missha, Tony Moly & Skin Food

I bought Missha Chiffon Painting Rouge in CRD01 and Eye Fit Stick Shadow in Brunch Day. To top it off I ordered two blushers one is from Tony Moly Cheektone Single Blusher in  shade Salmon Nude and the other one is from Skin Food Rose Cheek Chalk in Rose Peach
