Berry Drizzle

 Hello,

we live in crazy times we can all agree on that, but a little self care is always a good pick me up. For today I have a product that always make me happy whenever I use it.

Avon Color Trend fruity lip gloss in the shade Berry Drizzle. It comes in a handy dandy 10 ml tube. I got it in a prearranged set and couldn't choose shade so that is why I have this purple gloss that I wouldn't pick myself.

The color is pretty light but it is packed with purple/blue shimmers. If I apply super thick coat the shade and shimmer is visible but for normal application they are barely visible. This gloss has some of my favorite look. It looks very glossy and juicy on the lips.
I'm wearing it through all day long and my lips aren't complaining so I will go that far and say that it is moisturizing enough for me on its own.

Here I applied it pretty thick but on the lips the shade and blue reflexion are barely visible and I'm glad. The texture is non sticky and this gloss has somewhat sweet watermelon scent.
Even though it looks a bit scary in the tube it is very subtle and I love it. Avon used to have these Shiny Tubes glosses and they were amazing (I went through 6 tubes and have 2 more backups) but I think I like these new ones better because of the fruity scent and because these are even juicier looking on my lips.
I'm usually super happy with Avon glosses and this one didn't disappoint ether. I will most definitely get some more of them.

Project Polish

Hello,

this 'batch' of nail polishes that I'm done with was planed. I was in a neutral zone and I picked up the last three that I had from Color Trend line from Avon, plus they all look so nice together that I just couldn't resist.

Avon Color Trend Boldest Beige, Pout and Rare nail polishes. They all look like a slight different variation of a perfect nude nail varnish and lately I have really been into barely there nail colors. None of them is completely finished, that is  because they are all very old, especially Boldest Beige and the formulas stayed tacky and goopey on my nails so they weren't usable anymore.

Boldest Beige was part of a limited edition shade and it was a lovely light nude with full opacity achieved after two coats.
Pout and Rare are both from their regular selection and if I'm not mistaken are still available (even though I really liked them I won't be repurchasing them because I already have somewhat similar shades). Pout is almost a pastel pink with a bit of a thicker formula (I had to work fast and in thin layers but two coats were enough for full coverage), Rare is more taupe/mushroom colored but this one had the best formula of them all. It was quite thin and watery so at first I didn't have enough hope that I will achieved full opacity with two coats but second coat covered everything really nicely. I could still use it (it wasn't thick but it just didn't want to dry down, so the next morning I had my sheets printed onto my nails). They were all really nice shades but the brushes are a bit wonky so probably I won't buy any Color Trend nail varnishes in the future, unless I will see a gorgeous color.

Empties

Hello,

this month really was short. It came to an end way too fast but the thing I'm glad is the Spring. It feels like it is just around the corner and I can't wait, what about you?

Tea tree oil makes my skin happier and I'm super glad that I have found this The Body Shop Tea tree pore minimiser primer. I don't think that it does much priming but what I love about it is that it makes my skin matte and it is treating my skin while I'm wearing make-up. I love it and  I have already repurchased it.

Next is a little 10 ml perfume from Avon and it is called Cherish the Moment. I used up the lotion, I believe last year and since I liked the scent I bought this mini version. The scent at first is very strong, sweet and I don't like it in this perfume version (at first it smells very fake and cheap, at least to my nose) but if I leave it on my skin to warm up a bit then it turns out to be rather nice. Still sweet and flowery but not so offensive. I imagine people easily get headaches if I would use it too much at once. I liked it and I did get some sweet comments at how lovely I smell but honesty I won't repurchase it again.

Last year I was in need for some night eye cream and I was too cheap to get my favorite (Avon Anew nutri-advance eye cream) so I bought a couple 'substitutes'. This one from Terra Naturi with pomegranate was a bit of a fail.  It is a white cream, a bit thicker but it does absorb nicely into the skin. The 'issue' I had was that my under eye area got really dry (I was sick for almost two months) and this didn't help much. I guess it is a nice cream but only if your eye area isn't too dry.

This big tub is Avon clearskin professional complete treatment pads. Inside you get 30 presoaked pads and even though they recommend to use them for cleaning I used them on clean skin and if I had any fresh breakouts it slightly burn so I avoided the eye area as much as possible. I honesty didn't notice any difference in my skin but for the most part I have to take the blame. I know I should use them regularly but I wasn't so the blame is on me. I won't repurchase them simply because I know I won't use them. I already have a lot of steps in my cleansing and moisturizing routine that is why this guy never got a fair chance.

Next is this third and last pot of Balea multipurpose cream. They constantly come out with new scents and they cost just a little over one euro so it is pretty easy to buy them. I really just wasn't thinking too much, I thought that it smelled great and I picked it up. The 'issue' I had with it was where to use it. It is a bit thicker cream that takes a while to absorb. The ingredients list isn't anything special so I wasn't using it on my face, the pot is small so if I  would use it all over my body I would be done with it after two or three uses. At the end I used it on my hands before leaving so I would put my gloves on top and the material absorbed all the excess, a bit gross but that was the only way I could think of finishing it up.

This little guy is super old (I believe it is my oldest eye shadow)Avon Color Trend Halo eye shadow. I remember it was marked as primer and shadow but it was too drying on my skin and everything creased even faster. I don't have any swatches of it (I already had a big pan showing in the center but the last part of it fell out which wasn't planned). It was very light like my skin tone with some shimmer. If it would be shimmer free I could easily use it on top of my pimples for some extra coverage (the pigmentation was insane) and for some drying effect. I mostly used it to fix mistakes, so if I went a bit too high with eye shadow on one eye or too far out I put this powder on top and it was covered. We had a good run but now it is retiring.

The very last used products are my beloved lippies. First we have beautiful Misslyn color kiss lipbutter in the shade Sunbath. The color is soft peach and I liked that it wasn't overly pigmented because  light milky shades can turn not so nice on the lips. This gave just enough color and plenty of shine to my lips and I can't praise it enough. I think they are still available but now my eyes are locked on the brighter pink shade.

Avon ultra glazewear absolute Renewing Rose lip gloss has to be my ultimate favorite one. This what you can see is the third and sadly also the last tube of it that I went through. Yep, I finished three tubes of the same color. That is called love  ;)  Avon makes lovely glosses and this one was not an exception. I loved the soft cushion-y feel, glossines and above all the mauve color which gave my lips just a hint of  color.

Next in line is another favorite of mine, it is Catrice Ultimate color Kiss me if you can lipstick and behold, this is the second tube of this exact color that I went through. This soft pink hue is perfect for my skin tone, I liked it so much that the intense shimmer in it didn't even bother me, in fact I kind of liked it. I know shocking ;)   I would get it again if Catrice would repromote it.

The very last item is the most bland of them all and it is Himalaya Cocoa butter lip balm. I say bland because it is sheer, colorless but it turns out to be a pretty nice balm. At first it felt a bit hard and I didn't liked it too much but after time it grew on me and maybe it even become a bit softer in texture so it was easier to spread. It had a slight cocoa scent which is a plus in my books but the thing that matters the most about lip balms is the nourishing component and this green baby had it. It was nice but at the moment I'm sort of drowning in lip balms so I have to finish what I have before I go out and buy some more.

Project Polish

Hello,

I'm back with my last (for this year) project polish post.
I have picked this beautiful berry Avon Color Trend Deluxe shade.

It is cream, no shimmers or glitters but it doesn't need it. If you like rich berry shades then you know that they are beautiful on its own and don't need any distraction.

On the nails it looks a bit brighter than in the bottle but I don't mind. I figure it out that the polishes within CT range have a bit bushier brushes and I have a bit of a trouble applying them nicely. That and the fact that I have a similar shade with better brush made this beauty stand in the corner forgotten so when I tried to use it it was all goopy and stringy. I'm sad to toss it but at least I have another shade in very similar color. Next year I'm gonna focus on it and try to use it up completely so it won't end up half way full like this baby.

Empties

Hello,

I feel like I'm tossing a lot of products away lately which is good and bad at the same time. I'm talking about items that aren't done completely and I'm getting rid of them because they went bad (I have way too many products) or because I realized that my taste changed and I don't want to wear them anymore.

That being explained I will start with the Himalaya purifying neem face mask. I had another clay mask from the same brand in the past called Clarina and I liked it a lot but it was very intense. It felt like it was burning my skin off while it was on my face but the next day my skin looked much better. I would say that this one is more mild, it didn't burn but at the same time it made my skin more clear and smooth. Maybe it wasn't as efficient after just one use but it was more comfortable so I will repurchase this one in the future. Right now I will try to go through the pure green clay that I have and after that I will get myself another tube of this one.

Next one is Balea hand and nail chamomile cream. It is very small, only 30 ml but I think they sell it in bigger size as well. I bought it only because I used up the hand cream I had at work and I just knew that my hands won't go through 8 hour shift without a moisturizer so I ran to the drugstore which is just around the corner and got myself a mini because I have tons of lotions at home. It had a lovely calming chamomile scent and it did absorb fast but after I washed my hands they were still dry. I think it was just sitting on my skin and did nothing. The scent alone is not enough to repurchase it but I will look what other brands have to offer in that scent.

Next are the two blushes and nether of them is used up. They are the oldest ones and I rarely use them so I just decided to toss them. I don't think I will miss them since I used them so rarely.

The peachy-coral is Skin Food Cheek Chalk in Peach shade. This is a cream blush and it comes with a little sponge which I found useful until I washed it the second time. It started to fall apart so I tossed it but then I had to stick my fingers in it and I didn't use it much. The opening is small and if you have long nails then you know the struggle. I have a lot of similar blushes in powder forms that I prefer to use so I couldn't justify this little pot anymore.

Second one is Tony Moly delight petite blusher in the Petite Peach color. It is a hot cool toned pink color and where I live we don't have peaches in that color, at first I thought that they messed my order but that is the actual color of the product. I have warm undertone and such a cool pink doesn't suit me and I think I never wore it in public, I tried to make it work but with no success. It looks all adorable when you get it because it comes with a large fluffy puff (imagine old fashioned powder boxes, they had this type of 'applicator' or think of a polar bear fluff). I immediately washed it (I don't know who have been toughing it) and it started to shed like crazy so I never used in. It was a bit of a bummer but what really seal the deal was the shade that just didn't match with my skin tone.

On the bottom there is my second tube of Avon true color supreme length nourishing mascara in brown/black (only because I bought two when they came out and before trying it out). For me this was average, it made my lashes a little darker and combed through but still very natural to the point that my co-worker asked me why I don't wear any mascara! Seriously? It does look natural but does it look like nothing? Well, I could see it but it didn't give me the fake lash effect so I was happy that it finally dried up and now I'm using one of my favorites (Avon supershock max) and boy, oh boy I can see a big difference.

For last I saved the two eye pencils.
The little one is Essence Blossoms etc. LE in the shade I like. I would never get a shade like that but I won a giveaway and it was sent to me. It was a cool toned green with silver shimmer which I mostly wore on top of black pencils to give some sparkle and now at the end I wore it all over the lid as a secondary base to make warm shadows a little less warm or yellow. It was nice for cooling down the looks but at the same time I'm super happy to see it gone because it was several years old.

The silver one is Avon Color Trend in Silver and probably my oldest one in my collection. I remember I used to love it but now I hardly ever wear cool toned eye shadows and even when I do I prefer to use the simple black or grey pencil and this one was just left in the back forgotten. I  decided to pick it up but it got very dry and I don't want to hurt my eyes and skin with it so it is going in the bin, I have plenty of other pencils that I love and would rather use.

They are both very reflective but the green Essence one has silver shimmer in it while the Color Trend one is metallic with no visible particles. I remember it was part of the Valentine's Day collection many, many moons ago but they still make great soft pencils under this line. I only wish they would expand the color selection because now it is a bit generic but the formula is still buttery soft.

Empties

Hello,

as promised there is another empties post but this time only make-up items are included. Some of them are empty while some aren't but because I wasn't using them and were getting old so I decided to just toss them and make space for newer stuff.

In the striking red packaging there is Avon extra lasting cream to powder eye shadow in the shade Mocha. It has a heart shaped doe foot applicator with an almost wet eye shadow on it but it dries in a matter of seconds so you got to work fast. The color is beautiful but a bit dark for me so I wasn't using it regularly. The other day I wanted to use it but it is almost dry now and hard to blend so I'm just tossing it away plus it is several years old so I don't feel to bad about it.

The two tubes are both Avon foundations. First is Ideal Shade light make-up in Ivory and it didn't cover anything. While the shade looks like it could match me it oxidize into an orangey color after a couple of minutes. Second one is Avon magix cashmere finish foundation which has more of a mousse texture and it really made my skin smoother. It is also in the shade Ivory but is is much darker and it didn't match me even in the Summer time. They are both really old (I'm talking years but I also didn't use them in a couple of years) so they need to go, I don't have enough space to keep expired make-up anyways.

In the middle there is my oldest eye shadow palette. It is Avon 8 pan palette in Water Colors at least that is what I believe the name of it is. It has a nice range of colors to experiment with but quickly I figured it out that I don't like most of the shades. The first one was my favorite, slightly peachy nude with a gorgeous sateen finish which I still used until last week when my eyes started to get a bit itchy whenever I wore it, that was a clear sign that it needs to go. Second, third and forth shade looked like bruises from different stages of healing on me so I never wore them in the public. The two blue shades were very chalky and looked the same once applied but I liked to smoke them on my lover lash line, I find that some blue color on the bottom lash line can look very refreshing but now I already have new blue color with which I can play and so I don't feel too bad when tossing them. When I started to use eye shadows I liked grey and silver so this color has a dent but since I grew older I started to use more and more warm browns and golden shades and so this one left forgotten. The last dark grey color also has some pan and was mostly used to fill in my brows or make a thin line on top of my lash line. I liked it a lot but I rather won't risk eye infections so it is going into the trash bin.

Avon 8 pan palette Water Colors

The last three products are lippies. First Catrice lipstick was part of a limited edition called un, doux, trois and I bought myself the shade Wear Berry. In the store it looked very appealing but in reality I rarely wore it. The color is very bold and I don't feel too comfortable wearing it. It also has a velvet matte finish (I prefer glossier formulas) and after drinking a cup of coffee it wore off in a very unpleasant manner. The only thing I really liked was the scent but other that that I regret buying it, I'm not saying it is a bad product, it is just not what I'm looking for in a lipstick.

In the silver tube there is one of my favorite lines of lipsticks. It is Catrice Ultimate Shine Gel color in the shade Sweet Macaroon. Soft pink color with a hint or pearly shimmer and a very creamy formula. That is exactly what I'm looking for in a lipstick and I used it up to the bone. If I convinced you that this would be something for you then I'm sad to disappoint you by braking the news that they are no longer available. Before they were gone for good I bought more than ten backups (don't judge, I gave some to my mom and some to my sister since all three of us were loving them). I still have five tubes of various color to go through and I will focus on them because I don't want to wait for them to  expire.

Catrice LE un, doux, trois Wear Berry lipstick, Catrice Ultimate Shine Gel color Sweet Macaroon lipstick, Avon Color Trend Life Saving Coral lip gloss

The very last item is Avon Color Trend lip gloss from a Summer limited edition and it is called Life Saving Coral. To me this shade is more orange that coral and that is why this was never my favorite and I actually use it mostly at home where no one saw me wearing it but it was moisturizing enough to replace classic lip balm. I still have two other shades which I like a little better and I will use them up soon.

Project Polish

Hello,

days are flying by and I started counting down the days till my vacation. I can't wait to see the sea and swim in it. This past month I have been mostly using these three nail polishes and they maybe don't scream Summer but they sure do give me the holiday vibe.

They are all already discontinued shades and all of them are pretty old, the colored ones had a bit goopey texture so I speed trough them.

First is Avon Color Trend Silver Pleated and it was so fun to use on top of 'boring' cremes. It was just a clear based varnish with small silver specs and bigger glitter particles which shined bright like a diamonds on the water. I think it paired well with most colors and I will for sure miss it, actually I'm already looking if I could find something similar. Do you know any brand which have something similar in their collection?

Darker one is old Essence Midnight Charm. In general I like dark blue colors and this one had small shimmer in it and if you know me I'm all about that shimmer. In fact this was one of my favorite blue polishes in my collection and Essence don't make this color anymore :(  but don't fear. This color isn't so original that it would be impossible to find a dupe. I would just like to go through one of two more blues before purchasing something similar.

The last one is another Essence and it is named Ballerina's Charm (using two Charm's was a complete coincidence). This kind of soft lavender shades always makes me so calm and happy. It is an instant mood booster. Call me shallow but how many people can get into better mood just by glancing at their painted digits? Plus Essence bottles cost less than 2 €. Total win in my books.

All three of them will be missed but I have to move further and use something else. I have a feeling this moth will be painted red (I have received two red Catrice polishes and they will soon appear on this blog).

Empties

Hello,

this month ended in a snap so as it seems, right? Am I the only one?
I have used up an array of different products and I have to admit that most of them didn't convinced me to repurchase them again, I say most not all.

I will start with Avon Anew clinical advanced resurfacing peel with 10% glycolic acid. Inside you get 30 soaked pads (I suggest storing them upside down or occasionally flipping them). I used them on clean face in the evening and often I experienced light tingling which resulted in red skin (I have very sensitive skin and pretty much everything makes it flip) but that is the reason I used it only at night so my skin got some rest over night. I should use it ever third or fourth day but I didn't, I was too lazy and therefore I didn't see strong results. I thought that they aren't worth it, I'm not blaming the product but my lack of using it but a couple of campaigns back they were so inexpensive that I bought another box and now I promised to myself that I will use them regularly and see if they are really worth it.

The lipstick on top of it is my oldest one and it is Avon Color Trend in the shade Vino Disco. The shade is gorgeous, deep wine with some light in it (it is really hard to describe, you should see it in person). I decided that I will toss it at the end of May since it is so old that I'm scared to use it but it remains one of my favorites (If it would still be available I would get it in a heartbeat).

On the first swatch there is just one swipe so you can see the crazy pigmentation and beautiful color but I wore it as a stain, softly blended out which is shown on the second swatch. Worn like that it easily survived a meal or coffee run. To me this formula was perfection and I can only hope that Avon will once bring it back.

Avon naturals body lotion with Cherry Blossom was nice. To me it smelled more like gummy Bears than cherries or cherry blossom but I was okay with it. I liked the light texture which absorbs fast and makes my evening ritual shorter. I like this line of moisturizers but there are so many different scents that I want to try that I most probably won't repurchase this particular one again.

A'pieu nonco tea tree emulsion was a nice addition to my evening skin care routine. I used it all over my freshly washed face and then topped it off with some kind of oil, if my skin felt dry I used some night cream on top of it as this alone wasn't moisturizing enough (emulsions aren't even meant to be used alone). Under the line I liked it but I don't think it was anything special so probably I won't repurchase it.

Let's jump onto the hair care with Avon Advance Technique Instant Repair 7 conditioner. Last month I used up the shampoo and I wasn't impressed and I said that the conditioner is better, especially for dry hair. Now I have been using it in combination with different shampoo and I haven't noticed any big difference and that makes me think that the shampoo from this line really isn't something I would promote but the conditioner is nice but probably I won't buy it again (there are way too many hair treatments that I want to try in the near future).

Second to last is Alverde night cream with chamomile and hamamelis designed for sensitive skin. I can't remember when exactly I bought it but it has to be more than a year ago. I had way too many night creams and this one was just waiting to get its turn and after I opened it I noticed weird scent but after a couple of minutes it settles and I can definitely detect both herbs mentioned in the name. The texture also doesn't feel right, it is a bit grainy and it makes me think that it went bad so I'm too scared to use it anywhere on my body so I'm tossing it. Will I buy it again? Nope, and I am on a face cream ban until I finish all of them up.

The last item is the cutest, it is Tony Moly Petite Bunny gloss bar in the shade Juicy Peach, I made a whole post about it here. It is cute little pencil styled lip balm that smells like an undefined fruit and it is pink tinted. The moisturizing properties are poor and therefore I won't be spending my money on it again but the packaging is really cute.

Project Polish

Hello,

I decided to show you my used up nail polishes for this month a little earlier because I don't think I will be able to use more till the end of the month. Recently I have been wearing more pink and red colors on my nails and so it happened that I finished up two bottles.

First is Avon Color Trend Cherry Choc, I remember that it was part of the limited edition but I can't recall how old it is. It was a beautiful red color with a cream finish. The shade wasn't to bright or to dark, for me it was nearly perfect and I loved wearing it and I will miss it.

Next bottle is Catrice Welcome to Roosywood which on the other hand wasn't LE but it is discontinued. I was so excited to get this shade but when I put it on I didn't like it, so my only solution was to wear glitters on top and that worked fine for me. I wore this shade a lot this year and just changed top coats and so I was able to clear it out and I'm happy that it is gone.

All together I cleared out four bottles this year and I hope I will continue with the same or at least similar pace through the next couple of months.

Empties

Hello,

I'm back with another empties post. Yesterday it was only nail polish, today I have everything else.

First bottle is Avon Advance Technique Smooth as Silk conditioner. I used up shampoo from the same line last year but conditioners always take me longer to use up. This one was nice but nothing special and I wouldn't repurchase it even if it would still be available (they kept the oil from this line which is fantastic).

Next is Melvita hand cream with somewhat rose scent. There is something else mixed in but I can't point it out, to me it smells a bit fake and the texture was way too greasy for me so I was super happy when I used it up. I even cut the tube open and now I'm happy to toss it in the bid.

Batiste dry shampoo for blondes is next. I hate the scent but it works, I'm bothered a bit by powdery hair (when I brush my hair with my fingers they are all icky powdery) but for now I will let it slide. I already repurchased it but next time I will get one of the scented versions.

In front of it is Labello Coconut lip butter. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of the brand. In the past I had some of their stick lip balms and they didn't impress me but I gave them another go with this one and I'm converted. This is fantastic, it smells like a real nut and not too strong. It is on the thicker side which means that it moisturizes them for longer but it can leave lips looking white. I don't mind it because I use it only at night when I go to bed. My lips were soft and nourished. Now I'm using something else and it is not even half as good so when I'm done with my stash I'm repurchasing this little gem.

Second to last is Skin 79 Orange BB cream with SPF 50. It only comes in one shade which is very light and yellow toned with high coverage (there is almost no need to use concealer on top) and matte finish. The only negative thing is that it is a bit harder to apply, I had to tap it on with my finger and that takes time. Around six months ago I figured that I can mix it with dewier BB creams and get true perfection. Now I have some other light BB creams that I have to go through but I will repurchase it as soon as I find it on sale (it is a bit expensive).

For last I saved the only item which isn't completely empty but I used only around half. It is Avon Color Trend Kiss Kiss lip gloss in a beautiful cherry red shade but unfortunately it went bad. It had lovely sweet scent but now it stinks and I have to get rid of it. Color Trend glosses are a bit thicker, due to high pigment and are also more long lasting and jet they remain glossy. Did I mention how inexpensive they are? Right now you can get them for 2 € only. I know I will get some more shades and probably this one again but first I have to go through a couple glosses that are already in my collection before they go bad.

Project polish

Hello,

last year I had so much fun using up my nail polishes, who thought that using the same colors over and over could be so much fun?
I used up 20 bottles (not counting clear base and top coats) and so I decided to continue this year with the same strategy.

In January I used up Essence Style me Love and Avon Color Trend Delicious Berry. They were both limited edition colors, released years ago.
Just recently I posted Style me Love shade and all I can say is that I used to like this shade much more, now I just wanted to use it up.
Delicious Berry was light pearly pink with a blue/purple shift which is something I don't like so in order to use it up I was using it as a base coat underneath other colors. I'm super happy to finally be done with it and I won't miss this shade one bit.

These two are the first to go and I'm already working on two other bottles and I think I will use them up soon.

Kiss Kiss

Hello,

I'm back with a lip product. Over the years I accumulated way too much and now I'm paying the price. I feel guilty when I buy something new because my old products are going bad  :(
So, my goal is to use as much as possible and on the other end buy as little as I can. I decided to start using this gloss and finish it up this year and since it is still available I decided to show some swatches here and maybe someone will find them useful.

It is Avon Color Trend lip gloss in the shade Kiss (if I refer the name that they use in the brochure).

Because at the bottom of the tube it says Kiss Kiss, it is a bit confusing but still nothing too distracting. Two kisses are better than one, right?

The color is pretty straight forward, bright red even though while in the tube it looks darker. It has no shimmer particles but just a lot of shine.

The wand is pretty standard, easy to navigate and the scent is very pleasant vanilla like.

This baby is very pigmented and due to the slightly thicker texture (it is not sticky at all) you can wear it pretty comfortably, you don't need to worry about getting out of the lines of your lips. I never wore lip liner with it and it never ended on my chin or something embarrassing like that.
I tried a lot of red lip glosses (they are my weakness) and this one is among the cheaper ones and simply the best one I have tried. High coverage, no shimmer, stays put, fades evenly, leaves a bit of a stain and it lasts a couple of hours. The best red gloss ever, at least in my opinion and for my needs but I haven't been wearing it enough. I really tried to start using it on the regular base but I find out that the scent changed, the color and everything else is still the same but the scent is more like an old lipstick mixed with a crayon. Unfortunately, it went bad so I will have to toss it but after I will go through a couple of glosses I'm repurchasing it and then I will wear it every single week until I finish it up.

Urban Bliss

Hello,

it was last week when I was chatting about these Color Trend lip glosses. My main focus was purple/mauve tone but today I have another one from the same line. The color is also rather unusual and hard to find among other brands.

Avon Color Trend lip gloss in the shade Urban Bliss. The packaging is typical with a doe foot applicator and white cap. Bottle contains 6 ml of product.

The color is caramel nude with a strong but very small golden shimmer. It looks like it is made out of little sparkles. I prefer my lip products to be shimmer free but this one has such small particles that they don't bother me that much.

It has the same warm vanilla scent as the other shade and it wears off nicely. Because it contains a lot of shimmer it tends to stay on the lips after the shine is gone but that only makes it more opaque with the next layer.
This warm tone didn't suit me that much but I liked to use more neutral nude lipstick underneath and it looked very pretty. Not that long time ago I tried mixing it with another lip gloss (bright coral which I don't feel totally comfortable wearing it on its own) and that was my favorite combination.
I manged to use up half of  the product but unfortunately the scent changed (I have it for over three years now, so it was expected to die soon). I was forced to toss it before finishing it up (I hope I will learn something from this and stop buying new lip products until I use up at least half of what I have).
I liked this color but it wasn't my favorite so probably I won't repurchase it but I would like to try some more shades from this lovely range of lip glosses. Low price doesn't always mean that the product is crap.

Hello,

my project polish is going really well so I decided to include another nail polish and I think I will be able to finish it up this year.

For today's manicure I picked something fun and sparkly. Avon Silver Pleated is a silver glitter nail varnish and little H&M bottle is in the shade Dark Purple.

This is the end result. I like how glitter looks like jewels on my raspberry painted nails. With this combination I really nailed it, I can't stop starring, especially on the sun when it gets a bit blinding.

Bright eyes

Hello,

I have been seen wearing this double ended pencil for the past few days. Today even my mom commented how pretty it looks on my eyes so I decided that it is time to write my opinion.

Avon Color Trend Bright eyes

Avon has already discontinued this product but you can still find it on sale, I bought mine for just 1,5 €. For that price you get normal sized pencil with two different colors. It is part of their youthful line Color Trend and the name of this particular shade option is Bright eyes.

Avon Color Trend Bright eyes

This is the black side and it is not very dark, it actually swatches more dark grey but I don't mind since I think black looks too harsh on me and I always go with dark grey instead black, what I'm trying to say is that this is right up my alley but I imagine it won't be everyone cup of tea.

Avon Color Trend Bright eyes

With the lighter side I had some problems at the beginning. It was so hard and I almost bruised my hand when I tried to swatch it, apparently it had to be warmed up to make it work but now it is fine, it is soft as a butter.

Avon Color Trend Bright eyes

Here they are, as you can see black is not really pitch black and the highlighting shade has that golden tone that on my pale skin pulls a bit orange-y gold which is not my favorite but I do like the slight metallic finish along the lover lash line which sparkles so nicely and drags more attention on my eyes.
I will really enjoy using it more but I can see why they discontinued it so fast.

Hello,

I recently bought two new nail polishes and they belong to the new revamped Color Trend line by Avon. I have some old ones and they are okay, nice colors and formulas but I always struggled with a brush. It is so basic and kind of all over the place that I find it hard to paint my nails precisely with it. They revamped the line like I mentioned but the bottles are the same, also the brush is back. It looks like they only changed the shades and as far as I can say they are all with a cream finish and nicely pigmented.

Avon Color Trend Pout

This beautiful pale pink shade is called Pout. Recently I have been enjoying light shades like this one and I'm so happy that it also looks good on me.

Avon Color Trend Pout

The formula on this one is definitely not the best, probably the worst out of the all Color Trend shades that I own. Truth is that pale/pastel shades often have weird formulas and this one is not an exception. I had to layer three coats to get nice and even finish without bald patches. I think I can survive with that simply because I love the shade, if the color wouldn't convinced me I would send it back.

Avon purchase

Hello,

today I have super quick post for you. I have again been spending money on Avon products. My mom is an Avon representative so I kind of feel the need to support her through buying stuff for myself.

true color quad in the Gilded metallics & True Colors pencil Bright eyes

I got myself a couple of make-up items. One true color quad in the Gilded metallics. It contains warm gold and khaki shades.
And the pencil is from the True Color range. I'm not too excited about the pink packaging but if the colors will be nice I can go pass this. It is a double ended pencil in the shade Bright eyes. One shade is black and the other one is supposed to be light nude to brighten up the inner corners.

Avon Planet Spa Illuminating body butter Caribbean escape, dry shampoo & Supreme oils hair oil with nutri 5 complex

For a good measure I got myself another Planet Spa Illuminating body butter from the Caribbean escape range. This scent is just divine.
Then I got a brand new product for hair, it is the first Avon's dry shampoo which I will try at first occasion and report back.
The last item is hair oil from the Supreme oils range. My mom already has it and I tried it and loved it so I had to get one for myself.
