I went to the store to see if they have some new Essence and Catrice items already. I did pick some and item below was the one I tried first. I really hoped that I would love it.
It is Essence Milky Glazed Glossy Lip Balm in the shade Berry Au Lait. I love the bulbaceous lid and overall round shape, it definitely stands out from their display.
It hold 4ml of product.
Applicator is rather large (not what I was expecting from rather smaller tube) and it has a dip at the top to hold even more product.
Scent is faint and it reminds me of a mix of vanilla and caramel but underlaying if I smell really good there is something artificial, almost as they tried to cover it up. I find the overall scent nice but once it is on the lips I can't smell or taste it.
Berry Au Lait is mauve shade but once it is blended on the lips it is pretty sheer and looks more muted pink on my lips. I don't mind the sheerness since I prefer that. It is very glossy and I like to layer two coats to get that mirror like shine.
It lasts for one hour and I think this is nice, it would be better if it would last even longer but I am not complaining
I really like this one. I like the packaging, scent is nice, shade and its sheerness looks really nice on me and the longevity is good. Now I would like to try more shades, especially Oat So Creamy and Cream Of The Crop.
