Hello,
this is the last empties post for this year. Some more empties to throw away, clean my space and await the new year with less items ( I haven't rushed to the store and buy more because I already have similar products in my possession to replace these).
The first on the top is Avon anew clinical anti wrinkle crow's feet corrector with A-F 33 (this is supposed to be unique Avon ingredient to help fight aging). I noticed that if used it closer to my eyes it would irritate them (I would apply it in the evening and by the morning my eyes would be red and itchy) so it is important to read and follow the instructions and apply it only on crow's feet and just leave it there. I still would often find it to be irritating so at the end I used it on my neck only.
In the glass bottle is Ombia cosmetics Hyaluron gel which I don't think it is available at he moment (they only bring it out a couple of times a year). This is my second bottle and if I will find it soon I will grab another one otherwise I will get something else. Hyaluron is supposed to bind with moisture and you should apply something moisturizing on top to lock it and keep it in the skin. I haven't noticed any big difference but is was nice to use under oils, which are a constant in my skin regiment, so I got used to it.
The next bottle is kind of hard to see what it so you will have to believe me that it is Afrodita cosmetics Great Burdock hair oil. This is a miracle oil that helps my hair grow faster. I suggest it to everyone I cross paths. I use it on my brows and scalp and after two to three applications I can already see some baby hair. I'm telling you, this is fantastic and I already have a new bottle ready.
The last item is another oil but it is for different purpose. It is Terra Naturi Wildrose body oil. I used it on its own or on top of body butters or lotions if I had a feeling if they didn't provide enough moisture on its own. The scent was a typical rose and to my nose very pleasant. I already have another rose oil from a different brand so I'm covered.
Another year has come to an end, thank you for following my ramblings and I wish you a happy new year.
Thank you for reading and have a nice day

Electric Blue
Hello,
lovely blue shade that has the power to pull me out whenever I feel a bit blue...
Essence the gel nail polish in Electric Blue (you would expect a bright, royal blue with that name but actually it is light close to pastel but it is still somewhat bright).
Mine is in the old packaging and as far as I know this shade isn't available in the 'new' design but all in all the shade isn't that special that you can't find it with different brands.
It is not that unique but it does make me happy when I wear it. To me it is that bright periwinkle shade that is one of my favorite blue shades ever to wear on my nails. I love to wear it in the hot Summer or cold Winter, no matter the temperature I will rock it and wear it with joy.

Rice oil
Hello,
cold days are here and taking care of the exposed skin is a must. I'm into a big lip balm search and one of the balms I present today:
Essence my beauty ritual nourishing balm with Rice oil (there is also pink Cherry blossom and the one with Ginkgo extract which is slightly green).
It is clear and leaves my lips with slight shine. There is no scent or taste but sometimes (especially after reapplying/building up the product) there can be that bitter taste in my mouth (often lip products with SPF do this even though this one doesn't state that it has some protection).
To me this balm is very average. If my lips are dry it won't do much but if I constantly reapply they don't get chapped but that weird taste appears... I feel like I just can't win with it. It definitely isn't the best or the worst that I had but I also won't be buying other scents to try it out.
This balm was kindly sent to me by their PR team and I'm very grateful for receiving it because I was very interested in them when they came out but unfortunately it didn't wow me.

contour/bronzer duo
Hello,
I'm back with another cheek product but this time it is a bronzer/contour duo. I think the point of this duo is to use the lighter shade around the contour (it should match your skin tone) and the darker one to apply at the hollows of your cheek bones but if you don't exactly match, then you have to get creative ;)
Essence contouring duo palette in the lighter skin version (there is one darker shade available).
At the first glance the darker contour shade looks a bit too warm for contouring and on the swatches I think you can see it so I use it as a bronzer and it is amazing for that.
The lighter shade matches my arm pretty well but on my face it is a tad too dark so I use it on my cheeks to lightly define my cheeks and then I go over it with the 'contour' shade which works beautifully as a bronzer. Layering the two shades makes the transition even more seamless and more natural looking. The darker shade is pigmented but due to its lightness it is very nice for my fair complexion, it is hard to over do it and I love cheek products that are light because they are more manageable for me to use.
I am absolutely loving this duo and I feel comfortable applying it even in the poor light because the chances to get it wrong aren't very high. I know this sounds a bit weird but that is just how I like to roll with my make-up. I prefer fool prof items that help you make your make-up look as natural as possible while still let you define your favorite features and I think this baby does just that.
This product has been sent to me by lovely Essence PR team and I just can't thank them enough. This bronzer duo (at least for me it acts as a bronzer) skyrocketed to my top five bronzers and I hope they won't discontinue it soon.

Classic Aura
Hello,
a couple of days ago I talked about one blush that scared me with its berry tone and I said that I don't like it in my blushes so I found out another blush in my collection that has berry tone to it that I completely forgot about it.
It is Avon Classic Aura blush in their typical square packaging (if you are like me and have some of their eye shadow palettes, sometimes it is hard to tell them apart).
Next to the blush you get this useless plastic-y brush but on the positive side they give you nice mirror inside.
The blush is pink with obvious berry tone, it did make my knees shake a bit when I saw it.
The color is nice but unfortunately not for my skin. It is quite bright and berry toned and I look like a clown because it is very hard to sheer it out.
It doesn't have any shimmer particles just smooth color. It is very pigmented and it gives me the idea that it was perhaps designed for darker skin tones... I can imagine someone with olive or even darker skin really rocking this blush.
I did pass it on to a friend and perhaps she will get some use out of it (I will rather use the Essence Befitting blush ;).

Project Polish
Hello,
this will be my last Project Polish for this year and I'm wrapping it with the number 20 used up, thrown away (if they dried out) or passed down, if I didn't love it anymore. Here are the last three of them:
Dark green Essence Kiss under the mistletoe is a beautiful creme nail polish that I really liked wearing. At the moment I don't have anything similar but I have two shimmery, dark green nail varnishes that will somehow replace this one and the last one in the line.
In the middle is another Essence Snowflakes are kisses sent from heaven (this and the previous are from their 2014 advent calendar). It had hexagonal and bar glitters that pumped up every look but I'm quite happy that it is gone because I was getting quite sick of it.
The very last one is Depend Ocean green nail polish which is a beautiful holo goddess.
Here I swatched the two beautiful greens, Kiss under the mistletoe and Ocean Green. Essence one doesn't have glossy finish but that was easily fixed with a layer of top coat, it was very pigmented and that is probably the reason why it wasn't so very shiny. The Ocean Green had this beautiful holo finish that glow under the bright sun or indoors under the lights. I will truly miss this baby.

Befitting
Hello,
blushes are little pans of joy in my opinion. They can make me look a bit healthier and awake and all in all make me happy, so when Essence started discontinuing all of their blushes we knew something was up. There are six shades in the range (fingers crossed for more shades) and I received one of them.
Essence the blush (very simple and straight to the point) named Befitting.
It is a rosey/toned down berry shade. At first I was a bit sceptical about the tone (these types of shades often turns berry on me and I don't like that) but as it turns out it is rosey and actually very natural looking shade on my pale complexion.
First swatch is heavy handed while the second one is a bit more blended and it shows how it looks on the cheeks. I love the shade because it is not too bright or berry but it still makes me look fresh and awake. This particular shade is matte but again it is not a flat matte (Essence does this matte finish so well) in fact I like it so much that I went to the store and picked up another shade which will be revealed soon ;)

Empties
Hello,
time for the empties and this will be my second to last post for this year but don't worry, next year I will start fresh ;)
First we have this gorgeous mascara from the Avon and it is their cult classic Supeshock mascara (the only one that my sister uses and mine version is in the LE packaging, otherwise it just comes in a simple black tube). I love how it separates my lashes without clumping them but it still makes them look voluminous. I already have a new tube ready to be used.
Next is Catrice Eyeconista waterproof mascara. I had to get to use to it and especially to let it dry, I find that a lot of waterproof mascaras are very wet at first and that makes them hard to work with but once it dried down it was nice. I didn't use it on its own but rather as a topper to make every look waterproof (so nothing could catch me off guard :).
The last item is my beloved Himalaya purifying neem foaming face wash. This face wash is one of the two that I love and is constantly in my rotation. At the moment I'm using the other one but if I will see it on sale I'm grabbing it for sure.
First is Terra Naturi Coffee Party trio of what looks like the most boring selection of nudes but the finish is phenomenal, sateen and rich looking.
The first, lightest shade is my favorite but often I would just mix the two lightest shades together and the darker one I would place in the outer corner and be done. As of lately I have noticed that they dried and fallout on my cheeks wasn't pretty. I'm throwing this palette away but my heart still hurts. Swatches look nice but if I try to apply them with my brush on my small eyes it is a different story.
Catrice All about Nudes palette is an oldie but a goldie and as you can see I have a back up (brand new, completely untouched so throwing old and broken one away doesn't hurt me so much).
Towards the end I was only using the first two shades. First is golden shimmer and great for inner corners and second is close to my skin tone and again with beautiful sateen finish that can elevate every look (this one is completely gone). The rest are very dry and chalky (they were very nice at the beginning but as the years went by...), fallout is inevitable so I didn't touch them for the past few months.

For the end I have two eye shadow palettes that aren't completely empty but due to their age they don't perform like they used to so I decided to part with them even though it is hard but I have other shadows that were left untouched because I was focusing on these two and if I don't use them they will also dry down like these two did.

Crystal Dreams
Hello,
Essence is teasing us with another lovely Winter inspired collection and it is a good one. Named Crystal Dreams and beautiful silver packaging really set up an amazing mood. Big thank's to the Essence PR team for sending me two products from this up coming line.
I have received the eye shadow palette with 11 'beautiful rose and gold shadows in matte and metallic finishes - with an amazing pay-off' and pink toned highlighter in a smaller box. The presentation is gorgeous and the products inside are very intriguing. I will put them to the test and let you know what I think about them.
P.S. Did you see the lip oils? There are two shades, I feel like I 'need' them since I just finished all of my lip oils... and Essence ones are my favorite...

Empties
Hello,
I have a new empties post. I am preparing for a new year and I would like to use up as many products as possible so next year I will start fresh, do any of you have the same felling? When you just want to get out of the way as many products before the change of year?
First is Le Petit Marseiliais body lotion with cotton and almond note in this beautiful bright red bottle. It reminds me of Poppies and my mom|s old favorite fragrance Kenzo Flower (anyone else?). It was really nice but I prefer the one in the pink/lavender bottle that I have finished earlier this year.
Next is a *miracle* product from REN and it is their flash rinse 1 minute facial. Basically it is a scrub that you apply on a clean and dry face (it has to be dry), it has little scrubby parts that do not feel too much and when it starts balling up I rinse my fingers with lukewarm water and go over my face again. Water turns it into an almost oily product and the scrubby particles dissolves. If my skin is sensitive (acne) it will burn a little (it claims to have water activated vitamin C in it, that is why it is so important that in the first step there is no water involved). My skin will not turn red, even when it feels extra sensitive and the next day my acne are reduced or smaller ones are gone, the texture is improved and the skin after using it a couple of times looks more even. This is gorgeous so I did not hesitate and purchased another tube even though it is expensive.
Next is my beloved Avon advance technique silky hair serum. This is my second used up bottle and third one is already in rotation. I love this oil in my hair not only because it smells nice but also because it makes them look less dry, basically silkier (as the name suggests). My preferred method is to use it on damp hair and in the morning when I wake up they are exceptionally smoother and silkier.
Caudalie vinosource overnight recovery oil was my last years black Friday deal. I also got the one in the green bottle and honestly I did not saw much improvement in my skin but this one in the red bottle (also cheaper) suited me better. It contains Grape seed, Jojoba, Sesame, pure Rose, Sunflower and Palmarose oils mixed together. Using it on a regular base I noticed that my skin looked more even (less red which I can thank Rose oil). I was using it with different serums and my skin improved a lot since last year but I think it was a combination of products. This one was nicer than the one in the green bottle but still it is a bit pricey for what it is. I already bought Jojoba (nourishing) and Rose (redness reducing) oils and just mix them myself since I notice the biggest difference while using these two oils.
These two are the last heroes from this amazing Essence line called prettifying lip oils first one is red SOS, my heart and the other one is actually pink named First, help Pinky (they were hard to tell apart even when they were full). I think I talked and raved about them quite a lot so I will try to be quick. They smell and taste lovely, a bit fruity, they are super glossy and nourishing. When my lips were cracked I applied this miracle oil a couple of times and it healed them within one hour. I think this is pretty good because I have plenty of lip balms and hardly any get that close at fixing my chapped skin. The only downfall with these is that they are pretty thin and disappear too fast. If Essence will ever bring them back I am buying more of them.
Next is also my very last of the Avon SuperShock gel eye pencil in Golden Fawn (both me and my sister owned three of each). This was a limited edition shade and what a pity. The gel in the name suggest that is very creamy and it is but it also dries and does not move around (amazing formula, they still have them but in more modest shades). This one was more of a taupe than gold and had that multi dimensional feel where it looked like you used more than one shade because it looked more complicated and the shimmer made it look sparkly and glowy. Such a good shade that could transform and elevate any look. I would get it again in a heart beat if I could.
Next is another discontinued item and even though love it I will not be crying my eyes out because I have similar shades already in my collection. It is Catrice Ooops, nude did it again eye shadow, It is a bit hard to spot because it is so close to my skin tone but what is fantastic about it is the sateen finish and I mostly used it as a highlighter on my cheeks. It looked soooo good but I have another shade from Essence that is almost the same and plenty of highlighters to go through, sooo... I am glad that I was able to use up another item and I can not wait to start seeing dips in some of my other shadows.
The very last swatch belongs to Maybelline 24h color tattoo from creamy mattes in the shade Creamy Beige. I absolutely love it. I usually use much less and blend it out so I only get a light shadow on the eye plus this one does not budge. It has some build in primer that even my greasy lids could not get through. I would repurchase it again but I have another brown cream shadow that needs to be used (I was neglecting it because I was focusing so much on this Creamy Beige shade).
I did a little damage on the biggest, blackest Friday. I bought backups of REN mask seen above, backups of my favorite face powder and concealer, daily face moisturizer, new blush and I have also ordered two new fragrances and I can not wait for them to arrive. Nothing too crazy like I did last year.
Thank you for reading and have a nice day

I bought backups of REN mask seen above, backups of my favorite face powder and concealer, daily face moisturizer, new blush and I have also ordered two new fragrances and I can not wait for them to arrive. Nothing too crazy like I did last year.

Empties
Hello,
this time around I have a little less items but I'm trying to go through so many products which makes it hard to focus on just a couple. Every year I'm trying to finish as much as possible to start a new year with less stuff and sometimes I do better and sometimes not so much ;)
In the bright tube is Avon Life colour lotion by Kenzo Takada. It smells fruity but quickly it turned plastic-y. I wonder if I got a really old one? I definitely won't be buying it again or the perfume version even though I doubt that the scent is the same.
Colab makes lovely dry shampoos in my opinion. The aren't as strong as the Batiste ones but they are nice (I previously finished two bottles). This one is Tropical but it is not your typical coconut scent (unlike the Batiste Tropical which I despised) but it has Papaya and Peach in it. In my opinion one of the best ones and I will buy it again for sure but first I need to go through my extensive stash.
The last one is from Rituals and it is their The ritual of Hammam refreshing foaming shower gel with Eucalyptus and Rosemary. My sister is obsessed with this brand and especially with their shower foams. They are cool but I don't think they are worth the high price tag. This one is exceptionally minty and I like that in the shower, my sister knows me well. If I could find this cheaper I would get it again.
Avon comforting overnight massage foot cream with lavender was my long time companion. I had it for years and now it is finally over. It wasn't too greasy as the name would suggest but still I rather applied less. The lavender was a nice touch but I had better creams so I won't repurchase this one again.
The last item is this Dvorec Trebnik Marigold ointment. Well, this one is super greasy and it helped with my extra dry and cracked skin all over my body. It was nice having it around but now I'm using something else which is just as good.

Sunkissed Beauty
Hello,
product of the day is somewhat confusing, is it a face powder or a bronzer? I guess it depends from your skin tone but it does have shimmer, so...
It is Essence mosaic compact powder in Sunkissed Beauty. On their web page I can find it under powders not bronzers but a quick swatch made me believe that this is bronzer for my complexion.
I love the little colorful sections as they make the product a little more special and unique looking (I had my eyes set on the mosaic blushes but at the end I didn't purchase any because I figured I already have similar shades in my collection).

I'm so sorry that the photos of the swatch didn't turn out to be better. This product isn't orange toned but it is peachy. How often can you say that the bronzer is peach toned? And if you have fair complexion peach tones sits very nicely, especially with warmer undertone. The color is also quite light so no fear of clown cheeks. This turned out to be one of my top three bronzers because I can't overdo it and looks super natural while it still gives a noticeable effect. I should warn you that there is some random glitter that I'm not too crazy about but it doesn't bother me that much to stop me from wearing it.
I suggest you to try it out the next time you will be in the store if you are on the hunt for a light and cheap bronzer.

Electric Blue and Royal Vendetta
Hello,
blue nail polish is one of my favorite things and last year I bought and received plenty of them so my collection really grew (in blue department) and so I also discovered two very similar tones. Both were given to me by my sister who isn't into blue varnish that much so I adopted them and wore them together to see just how similar they are.
First is Essence show your feet (I think this line of polishes is no longer available) in Electric Blue and Avon gel finish in Royal Vendetta.
Bright blues sometimes don't need a shimmer to shine. Both are glitter free and so electric, bright and happy even though they are cool tones.
The difference isn't very obvious but on the first nail (ring finger I'm wearing the Essence one) and on the other two is Avon's. Essence still comes across as a bit brighter and makes the Royal Vendetta from Avon look a bit dusty.
I think they are both beautiful and since I love blues I can't force myself into giving one of the bottles away. They both were rather okay at removing. They didn't particularly stain my nails, the cuticles were looking a bit green from both but extra soaked cotton pad removed even that.
I decided to use Electric Blue from Essence from now on (because I like it a bit more) and when I will finish it I will work on the Avon bottle.

One gold fits all
Hello,
glowy lips are what I like and if they are nicely moisturized you can really pull it of. I have received this item from PR team and I thought it will thick all the boxes for me but did it?
Catrice lip glow glamourizer nourishing lip balm in the only one shade named One gold fits all.
The packaging is standard Catrice but the pink color sets it apart. The cap clicks into place so no worries of smearing it all over your purse.
The color looks so juicy in my opinion, lovely coral with golden shimmer.
It swatches quite light but it is also PH-activated so it will turn brighter after a while and it should look different on everyone (on me these types always get as bright pink as possible but since this one is more coral...).
It looks slightly glossy which I like (just like a lip balm) and the color is bright and after wearing it a while it only gets brighter or if you reapply. It also stains the lips so I would wear it but keep a clear lip balm in my pocket to moisturize, I didn't need to add more color because my lips were already pretty bright pink/coral. I like that it is not typical hot pink hue and the scent is gorgeous, very peach like. If you can find it in the store I would suggest you to try it out for the scent alone.
I was pleasantly surprised by it. The scent, slightly unusual tone and how moisturizing it is all added bonus points in my book. I would cheer for more shades to come out, maybe peach?

Empties
Hello,
it is empties time and this time I have just a few products but most of them are repurchases and some of my favorites that I would gladly buy again.
First tube is limited edition Balea's hand cram with Pitaya and Coconut. It smelled like a fruity beach product. I kept it at work and everyone said it is very beach-y scent so everyone was borrowing it and helped me use it up. The scent really was phenomenal but the texture could get a bit too greasy if I used a bit too much.
Next is Avon's restoring moisture coconut hand cream in one of my favorite formulas (I think the original in the non scented version is no longer available :(. This had lovely barely there, natural scented coconut scent. No plastic or fake notes but rather creamy and comfy plus the formula is the best. I am using a new scent at the moment (banana) but I already have a backup of the coconut.
This one is a staple in my morning routine since I use it every morning for years now and I'm already using the new tube. It is Neutrogena face moisturizer. Very light but moisturizing, keeps my skin matte for longer and works lovely under any foundation.
I went through four or five tubes of Skin 79 V.I.P. BB cream but to change thing up I ordered this Skin 79 Oriental gold BB cream plus a while ago (now it seem like it is no longer available). The color is very close to my skin (it also adapts after 5 or 10 min), it glides over and covers quite decently and has an SPF of 30 (I still used sun lotion underneath) but it was great on my vacation. If I could get my hands on it I would buy it again but I guess I'm back to my 'normal' hot pink or V.I.P. or maybe I will try the snail one. I still have one tube of Pink one so I'm good for a while but soon I will order something new.
The very last item on the photo is this The Body Shop tea tree pore minimizer. It has sort of a pudding texture, more compact than a gel but not to thick. It has this typical tea tree scent that is so comforting for me (not so much for my pimples ;). This is the second farewell and I already have two more backups since TBS has decided to discontinue it... (insert sad face).
Lets not forget about our bodies who need extra moisture in this degrees dropping weather. I decided to use this Avon's Planet SPA fantastically firming with Colombian Coffee extract body cream. I expected to be very heavy on the coffee but I was wrong. I can't even detect coffee in it but to me it smells more like latte. Warm and comfortable cup of hot milk, it is such a lovely scent that even helped me sleep. I'm not mad that the scent didn't meet with my expectations but it even surpassed them. I would grabbed it in a heartbeat if it would still be available.

Shopping
Hello,
this past week I have been splurging. I purchased way more than I 'need' and when I came home and spread everything out I started to regret it. I have been really good this year and bought only a few items sprinkled through the entire year and now I caved in and bought too much. The store had a sale and I fell hard for it but at least I'm trying to comfort myself that some of the items are my staples or the ones that I already tried turned out to be really nice, so far there are no duds...
First is my beloved Catrice HD liquid coverage foundation in Light beige. Next is Essence camouflage matt liquid concealer in Light rose, I wanted to get the healthy glow one but since they didn't have it I decided to try this version. I haven't try it yet but since I use liquid concealer under my eyes... we will see. Next is a repurchased Essence all about matte powder that I loved back in the days but ever since I tried the Catrice all matt powder I stopped buying the Essence one. I wanted to try it out again to see, if it still works for me. The last powder is something new to me and I guess I was just curious and it is Essence mattifying compact powder.
I wanted to get a good lip stain for quite a while now and I will see if this one will get me where I want to and it is L'oreal I rule lip stain. This conditioning lip product is very talked about in the community and it seem like everyone is raving about it so I had to have it. I grabbed one of the Catrice dewy-full lips lip butter in the nude shade Be you! Dew you!. While I was at the Catrice stand I couldn't pass another shade from Catrice generation plump & shine gloss. I already have Nude Sapphire which is gorgeous but I wanted this one ever since I saw this beautiful coral number named Sparkling Coral. I don't own much from the brand She and I decided to change that by purchasing the Nude lip gloss in the shade 127. These Essence plumping nudes glosses in Big softie and XXL charm were also on my list for a long time and now I have them, I hope they won't disappoint me. The very last item is a lip balm and I got hooked when I saw it is a tube styled balm, I like anything glossy and this one is Blistex Cherry lip cream.
Here are some 'much needed' eye shadows (I really don't know jet where I will store them because I have so many). The first is Catrice The fresh nudes palette I love neutrals and that bright coral in the middle was what caught my eye. L'oreal came out with these singles just recently and this one looked extra shiny and glossy so I had to bring it with me. Mine is in the shade Almighty. The last one is Essence Morning Glory eye shadow and I had no idea it looked so similar to the L'oreal one (I really was in the zone, just throwing items in my basked not really knowing what I was doing). It is pretty for sure but I will make sure I will swatch them side by side because I have a feeling that I won't need both.

Perfect Plan
Hello,
with the most recent Essence change I received this lovely new lipstick. I had high hopes for it but let see if my wishes were heard...
It is Essence perfect shine lipstick with the name Perfect Plan. It is housed in a lovely pink metallic packaging.
Perfect Plan shade is brown with rose hue. I personally don't love brown on my lips but thankfully this one is pink enough to stay away from that uncomfortable brown tone, at least for me.
Here is a not so good swatch but it represents the tone well even though it is a bit deeper.
This is fresh on my lips (yep, my lips were dry and chapped which I noticed after I took the photos). It is very pigmented (two coats will do) and very creamy. The shine is there but honestly I expected them to be more sheer and glossier, still I gave it a fair share.
After two hours this is how it looked on my lips. My lips were less dry (I didn't use any lip balm in the mean time) and I did drink a bit but there is no visible line or unevenness. It faded away pretty nicely and after that photo I applied one layer and I was good to go. After reapplying the shine was a bit less seen as the pigment started to build up and it looked a bit more matte than the fresh layer.
Even though this lipstick didn't turn out the way I expected I wasn't disappointed. The wear time is very good even with drinking involved but more so, I like how even it wears off. The shade is nice but not completely in my comfort zone. I will check shades Perfect Day (coral) and Perfect Romance (red nuance). I also like to wear it more like a stain, dab on the lips and slightly pat with my fingertip to remove the excess and press it into the lips so it stays put for longer. Very nice formula indeed, I hope that they will come out with some pink shades in the next turnover, I'm really cheering for it.

Empties
Hello,
I'm speeding through my products and trying my best not to buy more if I already have products of the same kind (I'm doing pretty well but there will be some upcoming sales that will be really hard for me to keep out). I will try my best.
Another bottle of this Alkmene tea tree face wash is gone. I like the products but not the slightly flimsy packaging. At the moment I'm using my other favorite (Himalaya neem foaming face wash) and after I'm done with that I'm going back to this one. I like to interchange them for a bit of variety.
Weleda Rose lip balm is a balm I purchased last year and I started to use it just recently. I had issues with separation. Usually the oil would come out and only then the pigment (is it old or just separated?), I tried to mix it by placing it in different positions and squeezing it around the tube but nothing helped. The scant was also a bit off, I have noticed in some other natural brands that their lip products also had similar scent (a bit of rose and rubber, at least that is how it smelled to my nose). The color is a soft rose/nude and a tad too light for me. Nothing about this balm excited me so I decided to throw it away even though I haven't use it up.
Next to it is Catrice volumizing Beauty-full lips lip balm which is another one I haven't had much luck with. There are different versions/colors out there but I picked up the original one. It is a bit too light for me but if I'm careful and apply little it is okay. It is slightly cooling and minty (I haven't noticed any volumizing properties) but it fades away way too quickly. It is also not very moisturizing and my lips were soon dry and patchy. This is another lip balm that I haven't used up but I rather gave up on it completely. There are plenty of good lip balms that will nourish my dry lips.
Catrice Ultimate shine gel color in Don't pink and drive lipstick is super old but I have been holding on to it because of its amazing formula. I tried to use it up but I had no luck. This shade is bright pink and even though this line of lipsticks was creamier and glossier it still had plenty of pigment and it was harder to wear. It lasted for around three hours with minimal fading but on most days I just didn't feel like wearing hot pink so it was left in the dark. Now I finally pulled it out when I noticed little black dots all over the stick... I'm parting with it.
Second to last is Catrice instant blurring stick from Active warrior collection and it was a convenient little primer. Waxy and full of silicone to seal my pores, it actually worked with my skin nicely but since it was so small it didn't took me too long to go through it. I have something similar from Deborah in a tube and that is what I have been using and it works nicely.
The very last item is another Catrice product (I'm really on a roll) and it is all matt Transparent shine control face powder (my third I think). No need for long discussion here. It was a nice powder that kept me matte and looked nice when I reapplied once or twice through the day. It is still my favorite even though I'm testing out the Rimmel one.
