Taro Glaze

 Hello,

yesterday I talked about lip glosses which weren't very glossy, today I have a lip stylo which looks super glossy and I am loving it.

Here I have Bbia over glaze stick in Taro Glaze with 1,7g of product.

It has a twisting mechanism with noticeable click sound (very satisfying :) which gives you total control and boy oh boy it is shiny on the lips.

Taro Glaze is cool toned plum shade but on a sheer side. When I have red lips this turns them a bit less vivid and a bit deeper. It makes me look like my lips are a bit cold because of the strong cool toned shade.
I absolutely love the shade and I am very satisfied with it.
The gloss is unreal, very shiny and it looks like a proper lip gloss.

I have tried it on dry lips and it healed them after two layers but there is something slightly irritable in it. The scent is nonexistent but after a minute on my lips I can smell mint (a bit similar to toothpaste) and slight tingling which fades after 15 min. It really isn't much so I am okay with it.

I would prefer donut scent (there is donut on the packaging and that gave me the idea) but cool mint isn't too bad since the tingling isn't strong and there is no cooling effect. The shade and shine are my favorite and I can see myself using this up very soon. At the moment there are no shades available that would get my attention but I will check again after a while.

Peony Blush, Gleaming Guava and Wink of Pink

Hello,

these three were in my possession for over a year and I barely use them. Colors look nice but the texture is somewhat unusual on these.

They are Avon nourishing shine lip glosses in Peony Blush, Gleaming Guava and Wink of Pink. Each tube contains 7 ml which is a hefty amount and it is becoming rare to see such large tubes.
They gave very warm caramel scent but no taste.
The texture is unusual since they aren't very glossy. It feels like they added too much pigment in them and pigment particles eat up all the gloss/shine.

Peony Blush is warm toned nude shade with no shimmer and packed with pigment particles.

Gleaming Guava has a similar tone but with added shimmer, because of the sparkle the gloss isn't more sheer or glossier.

Wink of Pink stands out because of its cool toned pink shade but the shimmer is the same as in the previous gloss. It completely covers the lips and leave no room for shine.

These are named lip glosses but I would say that they are more of a liquid lipstick it tube cases. They do give a small amount of shine but mostly it comes from shimmer. The pigment is off the roof. I don't remember ever seeing or using such lip glosses-with so little glossiness. They aren't sticky or goopy which is nice but my personal preference is super glossy or juichy lip glosses with sheer color payoff and these are just the opposite of that.

I am thinking of passing all three to my sister since I will not get much use out of them, they just aren't my preference.

Way Pink

 Hello,

I am continuing with the pink theme and this is what I thought would be a glowy pink tint. I was expecting  a glossy finish with a tint but I am not sure that is what I got.

Little mushroom is Fwee pink obsession stay fit lip tint in the G06 Way Pink - glowy edition.

This item has a very short stem but the doe foot applicator is regular sized. I don't find application to be hard or weird it just looks like it would apply weird but it doesn't.

It applys very glossy and liquid like so I was expecting it to stay like that for an hour or so but I was wrong since it takes about 5min for it to settle and then is almost matte. It actually looks like I applied a bit of clear lip balm over it, so it is not completely matte but I was expecting it to be glossier.

Here on my photos it looks a bit more red when in fact it is more hot pink. It is very saturated and bright. I definitely picked the wrong shade since I prefer more muted or lighter, natural pinks.

Way Pink is bright and almost fuchsia pink and I am a bit sick of it (there were times when I loved shades like this on myself but I got over it).

It leaves a pretty strong and even stain which lasts for hours. I can drink, I can apply lip balms or lip glosses and it doesn't remove the stain. I would say after several hours, 6 or 7 it starts fading. After eating it was removed completely.

Packaging is super cute, scent is slightly artificial but barely noticeable and there is no taste. Stain is even and longlasting (I don't recommend eating since food dissolves the stain). There is so many things that I like about this but one of the most important ones - shade is what I don't love :(

I find Way Pink shade too bright for me and I am thinking of passing it to my sister.

Pale Peony, Toe Shoes and Jambon Pink

 Hello,

I had a bunch of these single shadows in my online shopping basket and since I had so many items already  in my basket I took a bunch out and accidentally I only left pink ones.

Rom&nd slide in single shadows in Pale Peony, Toe Shoes and Jambon Pink. I find Toe Shoes name super funny.

Here on the photo the whole packaging isn't very visible. Each has an extended plastic on top to pull out the shadow and you can pull them all the way out so there are two plastic components. First time I tried to put them back I push them from the other side and there is some resistance which tells you that you went the wrong way.

Here are swatches in the same order Pale Peony and Toe Shoes are both matte but Pale Peony is borderline peachy pink and quite pale (my face is a bit lighter than my arm so it does show up more) while Toe Shoes is a bit deeper and brighter.

I wore them also as blush and I loved that as well.

Last swatch of Jambon Pink is shimmer pink with some silver in there as well. It is very sparkly and I like that :)
I wore it on its own or layered over the other two (I could also wear it over some other shadows but I just focused on these three and combinations I could make with them).
I did not liked it as a highlighter since I don't like this type of obvious shimmer on my cheeks but I love it on my eyes. So it sparkles when I blink :)

I am very happy with these three, I love the shades that I have picked out. The two mattes are very soft to the touch (I loved applying them with my fingers and then blend them out with a brush which didn't kick any dust) and formulas. When I will be on the market to get some more shadows I will get some more shades from Rom&nd.

Pink things up

 Hello,

I found another products in my archives. I purchased this one pretty soon after it was released. I was eying it since it was shown and I was scouting the release date. So it better be good.

It is Essence glossy glaze high shine lipstick in the shade Pink things up (it is number 3). I am still in my pink faze :)

The strip at the bottom and tube matches the shade pretty well. It has a faint fruity scent but once on the lips it is undetectable. The formula is pigmented and glossy. It feels hydrating while it is on my lips. I had no issues with dry lips while wearing it.

Here the shine is visible and it creates that healthy look on my lips. The shade is pigmented to show on the lips and I was scared that it would require a mirror to apply, especially since the tube is wide. The goss saves it since if I get a bit over the lines is not as visible because of the shine. I am still a bit scared and I mostly apply it in front of the mirror but if this would be the only lip product while on the go I would apply it and not worry too much.

I am actually very happy with it and Essence already came out with a new seasonal line and they didn't add a bunch of new shades... I think they only added one, darker option. I hope they will not discontinue them, since I like this formula, I would like to try out number 1 (nude) and 2 (peach) option. I am not interested in deeper or brighter shades.

Slightly confused

 Hello,

I am back with another limited edition item and it is a good one.

Limited edition Catrice Alice inWonderland luminizing compact powder in the only option Slightly confused

Alice print elevates this product to the next level. Shade is pale gold with blue imprint. There is fine shimmer in it, more like an all over glow than random particles.

Another closeup of the Alice since I suspect it won't stick for long and I was right. Blue isn't deep and when checking shade on the skin it thankfully disappears quickly.
This product does kick up some powder when I touch it with a brush so I guess it will be used up faster that some other tightly pressed products.

First swatch was made avoiding blue and second with the blue shade and the difference is more visible in person than what I was able to capture on camera. Shimmer isn't obvious but it rather creates uniformed shine. My face is paler than my arm so it blends into my skin tone pretty well but the glow is visible.

I definitely don't regret getting it since I like the pale gold shade (on my skin in more cool toned since this gold isn't yellow but neutral in tone), it has glow but not random glitters or shimmers. With a light touch is on a natural side and I like this but it is buildable and can look too metallic if applied too heavy. So far I am avoiding the blue but I am thinking of taking it off to get to the only base color.

So far this Alice in Wonderland collection is a hit but I don't think I will get more items from this LE.

Milky and Rosy Glaze

 Hello,

I have finally tried the Fwee jelly pots :) I thought that the shape is random but it is actually peach shaped packaging and it is very cute.

I have received two Lip & cheek glowy jelly pots. Big one in 4g is Milky and mini is a gift with purchase and the shade was picked at random, I have received Rosy Glaze.

I can see why they named them jelly. Texture very much reminds me of it. On top there is a firm film which needs to be broken to get the pudding like texture out of it. I did not get the silicone applicator so I just use the top of my nail to scoop some of it out.

Milky is pastel, baby pink and Rosy Glaze is a bit deeper muted rose shade. Milky looks a bit pale on the lips but Rosy Glaze looks perfect, this shades melts and blends into my natural lip shade. While I have to be careful with milky not to apply too much I can put a generous amount of Rosy Glaze and it still look nice.

They have no detectable scent but are so very juicy to look at. Colors are pigmented and they look glossy enough on the lips. Because my natural lip color is on the red side Milky has to be applied with careful thought but Rosy Glaze looks more natural on me so I can put more on and then it also last longer. I wish it would still be a bit more long lasting.
I would also mention the nice hydration that they provide and even when I apply them on chapped lips they slowly but surely smooth them out.
These peach shaped Fwee balms are really nice and I can see myself buying some more but on sale, their prices are quite high for such small product (packaging is large but there is only 4g of product inside).
