Empties

Hello,

today's empties post is filled with products and if I drop you a little hint, tomorrow another one will follow with only make-up products.

First bottle is Avon Planet SPA Himalayan Goji Berry body wash. This was discontinued a while ago but the scent was so lovely that I wanted to keep it forever. How foolish, right? I used it up before it went bad and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I haven't noticed any special moisturizing properties, it washed my body like any other regular wash and for the slightly higher price I wouldn't repurchase it even if it would still be available but I would buy the lotion in the same scent.

My sister bought me this Kiko micellar cleansing water which I liked very much. It had nice floral scent and it did it's job, took off all of the remaining make-up. Since Kiko isn't available here I won't be buying it again but if they would open the store nearby then maybe I would.

The little bottle of A'pieu tea tree oil is already a repurchase and I have another one to replace it. What can I say about it that hasn't been said before? Tea tree is an ingredient that works for my oily and acne prone skin, I think that little suckers drown in it when I apply it at night since usually they are smaller or gone the next day. I started to use it also on days when my skin is 'nice' and it looks like it stops little buggers from appearing, not completely but my skin definitely improved (along with a healthier diet, lots of water and some serious reduction of diary).

Underneath there is an amazing body butter from Avon Skin so Soft line. It is the Original with jojoba oil. The consistency is slightly thicker and it takes a while to absorb. Maybe it is not the best to use in the hot Summer because it can feel sticky but because of the scent it is worth it. I can't put my finger on it but it smells nice, sort of comforting and warm. It reminds me of that classic Nivea scent. I still have one or two backups that I need to go through but I will save them for cooler months.

Krauterhof Aloe Vera gel is a product that I don't recommend. No matter how cheap it is don't buy it. I made a mistake and bought two before trying it out first. Aloe Vera is known to soothe and calm down the skin, this bad boy must have acid inside because it almost burn of my face. After I applied it on a freshly washed face I started to feel some weird tingle, after ten minutes I cheeked my face in the mirror and it was bright red. Even after I washed it off some of the product absorbed and it continued to irritate my skin. Next time I put it on on a burn (silly me got burn on the hot oven when I was trying to take my pizza out), first I stick my hand under a cold water but you can't stand there for half an hour, right? So I put this gel over it because I thought it will help, instead it started to burn even more. The only part of my body that doesn't mind are my hair. I used it as a hair gel and that is how I plan to use my second tube of it and then never again.

Second to last is another legend of mine, it is Melvita's Lavender Floral Water. I had a sprayer on but now I reused it on the second bottle. This smells just like lavender and I personally love the scent as I find it very comforting. I usually use it over my make-up to help the cream products blend with each other and mesh with the skin. It does make my skin glossier and it doesn't prolong the wear of make-up so it is not a fixing spray but a true refresher and a moisture booster when you need it. This was my second bottle of it and the third one is already sitting pretty in my bathroom.

And the very last product for today's empties is Melvita's argan oil hand cream. It had a nice scent similar that their Golden oil with a mix of five oils (one of them is also argan one) but it felt a bit heavy, not like the rose one which was way to greasy for me but still a smidge to heavy. I won't repurchase it even though it smelled nice.

e-bay purchase

Hello,

today I  could say another day another package. I placed my last two orders at the same time but this package arrived a little later but everything was okay, nothing was damaged.

Both of them are repurchases, the bright pink tube is Skin 79 Hot Pink BB cream which I already had before and I picked it up again because I was missing it. I noticed that they changed the packaging but I hope the product stayed the same.

The other thing is my third bottle of A'pieu NonCo Tea Tree Oil. I haven't used up my second one but I like to be prepared since the last time when I ran out of it my skin freak out and I just don't want that to happen again.

emulsion

Hello,

my skin is getting back in line and I have to thank this new buddy of mine. Last year I figured it out that my skin responds really well to the tea tree and I'm constantly on the lookout for more products with this ingredient.

A'pieu Nonco tea tree emulsion

A'pieu Nonco tea tree emulsion is new in my routine and I use it at least twice a day since I got it. The pump is really practical and works great with this milky textured product.
In the evening I squirt three pumps and apply all over my face and neck and top it off with tea tree oil while it is still wet. I'm really hard core with tea tree  ;)
In the morning I use only two pumps and make sure everything gets absorbed (it sinks in really fast because the formula is so thin and light) before I continue with make-up. In these hot summer days I don't need more so this emulsion on its own is sufficient enough, my skin feels moisturized and matte at the same time. Probably I will need more moisture in cooler months but for now it is good.

I absolutely love the texture, matte finish and fresh scent, I personally love the scent of tea tree but this particular product has a very faint scent so if you don't like it this my still be good for you. From me it gets two thumbs up.

Empties

Hello,

today is the last day of June and I thought it is great time to get rid of some empty packaging. I started with this type of posts earlier this month and I might continue with them twice a month since I hate keeping empty packaging for to long. This time I managed to clear out seven items.

First we have Avon Color Trend lip balm in Refreshing Pear. This was available a couple of years ago, I remember really liking this one so I bought this backup. My opinion changed a bit, it had a nice pear/lime scent and while it was green it was clear on the lips but it did had some random glitter in it which was completely unnecessary if you ask me. It was nice moisturizing balm but sometimes a bit sticky.

Next to it is A'pieu NonCo Tea Tree oil, I have been using it religiously ever since I got it last year and I loved it. My breakouts reduced and skin got much clearer. The packaging is opaque so I didn't realize how much I used it up, one day it was just gone. I already ordered a new bottle but will have to wait for it till it gets here. I wrote about it here.

I finished another body lotion and this time it is Avon Perceive. I reviewed the scent here. It was lovely scented, average lotion. I have been using it every single day and my skin was moisturized and soft but I don't know how it would handle with very dry skin. I already repurchased this scent but I will wait a couple of months till I start using it again.

I used up a body wash, this one is from I love... brand in a Honey Almond scent. The smell is authentic Honey with a bit of Almond warmth to it. Pure joy to use it until I actually started using it in the shower. The consistency is a bit thin so you have to be careful not to spill it. It doesn't foam much but I still had a feeling it cleaned my body, the issue I had with it is the scent development. In the bottle it smells divine, mixed with water it smells plastic-y and fake. I admit, I have been pouring with it just to finish it as soon as possible. I for sure won't repurchase it and if I'm not mistaken they aren't that cheap to begin with.

In the orange tin is Agatha Ruiz de la Prada lip balm in Tropical scent. I wrote about it here and you can see that I really didn't like it. I mostly used it on my hands and that is the reason why it was finished up so fast.

Avon lipstick Baby Lips

In the little tube is Avon sample lipstick in Baby Lips. It is so old that I don't even remember which line it belonged and Avon for sure don't sell it anymore. In the swatch above you can see the color and I have to say this is the perfect pink for me. If it would be available I would repurchase it in the full size but I'm not that lucky. It is medium pink, with buildable consistency, no glitter or shimmer but it is glossy and moisturizing. Pure love.

And the last bottle I finished was also from Avon, Planet SPA mediterranean olive hot oil. The instructions says that you have to put it a hot water for a minute, than you step in the shower and apply oil on wet hair and leave it on for another minute. After that you continue with your normal routine. I noticed that my hair looked better after using it but I didn't liked to put something moisturizing on 'dirty' hair. I have my routine which is, washing my hair with shampoo twice and then I put conditioner, mask or some kind of treatment on while my hair are already clean. This messed up with my routine and even if it would still be available I wouldn't repurchase it (the mask from the same line in the big pot is also amazing and is already on my list).

This was quite a lot of products are writing but I like doing them. I can always go back and read my thoughts about particular items and see if I liked them or not, if I should repurchase it or not.

Magical Tea Tree

Hello,

I decided for today to post something completely different. I don't want to bore you to death with nail polish and also I don't change it every day. I haven't posted anything acne related jet and today is the day.
I don't have nice skin and it all started when I moved to the capital and started with college. Now it is calming down and I have to admit there are several different products and diet involved but today I will talk about tea tree. People were always suggesting me to start using products with tea tree but I couldn't find any in the drugstore (I'm getting blind). A month or two ago I decided that now it is the time to finally find something and start using. I came across with these two products.

Alkmene tea tree toner

This is Alkmene tea tree toner. I found it in the local drugstore and it has typical scent which doesn't bother me. I pour a little on the cotton pad and pat in on problematic areas. I can do it in the morning and night. I noticed that acne started to clear up faster and now when I feel something is starting to grow I soak it with this toner and it calms my skin.

A'pieu Nonco tea tree oil

The second product I swear by is this A'pieu Nonco tea tree oil. I take a drop or two and apply it on top of my night cream. In conjunction with the toner it really helps. I feel that the oily consistency stays on the skin longer and fights with 'monsters' overnight.

I'm glad that I finally picked something out and that my skin responds so well to it.
