Dewy Peach and So Sleek Pink

 Hello,

I have seen these glowy lip balms and I was waiting patently for them to come in my area.

They are Revlon super lustrous glass shine lipstick in Dewy Peach and So Sleek Pink. I purchased them online and they were the only two shades available. I am glad that I get these because they look perfect for the Spring and I noticed that in the past I would often pick these shades among many others. I feel like I am always ready for a pastel peach and soft pink lip.

Dewy Peach looks pretty orange here and that scared me so much. It gives me old times vibes while So Sleek Pink looks vibrant and super happy next to it.

Swatches showed a different story. Dewy Peach is glorious, soft and delicate. This swatch was made with only three strokes and it is plenty.

So Sleek Pink is more sheer from the bunch and I had to go over it six times to get this opacity and it is still lighter.

When it comes to the shine factor they are giving it and I love that a little bit of color remains on the lips even after the shine is gone. They do not stain and are not transfer proof but this lipstick does not claim this.

I am actually very happy with these. I got beautiful and super wearable shades, plenty of shine and hydration. They have a slight vanilla scent but noting too obvious.

I know I will wear them with joy and applying them even without a mirror is effortless.

Empties

 Hello,

this is the second half of my empties for February.

This time around I have used up a Skin 79 BB cream. This one in the golden packaging is one of my favorites even though on the swatch (below) it looks a bit dark. It is easy to blend (like all Skin 79 BB's are) and is quite pigmented. I usually use it on vacation or for walks outside when I don't want too much make up and some extra spf.

Next is my very first bronzer which I got on sale for 1 EUR when it was discontinued approximately 10 years ago... and it is not even finished :( This Essence sun club 2 in 1 bronzing powder is in the shade Sunshine. The missing part was mostly highlighter which mixed together gave me pink glow on top of this bronzer. This one was so pretty on my face that now I am really sad that it is gone. Bronzer on its own is a tad too orange so I am throwing it away but it will be missed. Ever since I have been looking if Essence would come back with something similar but so far no luck

Skin79 BB cream and Essence Sunshine bronzer but only the remaining part without the highlighter.

My mom used to have this and I remember this being expensive so when I saw it at reasonable price I grabbed it immediately. It is Revlon 10 in 1 hair treatment. It smelled really good and it was a bit thick for the spray nozzle (towards the end I diluted it with some water to make sure most of it came out). I used it mostly on damp hair on my hair wash days and my hair were a bit smoother. I haven't noticed any big differences so probably I won't get it again but the scent was really nice.

I purchased a bunch of these Korres body lotions because the scent combos sounded so nice and before even trying them out I ended up with 5 or 6 of them. First I decided to try out Thyme & Honey option. At first I was disappointed because I hoped to be more honey like, instead it is creamy with some thyme and in the backdrop I can find a bit of honey. The lotion itself is nice but I wish it would smell more like honey.

This body wash from La Roche-Posay was gifted to me. It is their lipikar huile ap+ oil wash and the scent is somewhat green and bitter to me. Not my favorite but I power through, thankfully it was in a small tube. The oil was thin and didn't left any oily residue. I prefer the cream version used up earlier.

Lastly there is Xmas hand cream from Afrodita. It didn't have any particular scent but it was shimmery. I used most of it as a prank on my boyfriend. He always forgot that there was golden shimmer and then he would sparkle all night :) I used it too and it was really nice moisturising hand cream, I would prefer it without shimmer but we used it up nonetheless.

Empties

Hello,

it is the end of another month and time to talk about my finished products. I gathered quite a lot of products today but I don't need to run to the store and buy more, I already have products ready to jump on their places and there is no need of buying more at the time.

Catrice HD liquid coverage foundation in Light Beige is a staple in my collection. Easy to spread (it is pretty liquid) the shade matches me and the coverage is buildable so it fits my skin needs, no matter if it is super blemished or getting clearer. I'm already using a new bottle.

Pflanzen kosmetik von Mueller Dog Rose oil was nice. I like to use some kind of Rose oil in my night routine because it soothes my sensitive skin and after using it regularly it tones down the redness in my skin. I also tried to use it as my make-up remover and it is not doing it, I will stick to my Jojoba oil for that.

Next are three eye creams and none of them was anything special so I won't be buying them again. First is this Balea Aqua eye roll which I had for years. It has a metal ball at the end and it felt nice to apply but the texture of the product is super thin and I didn't get much nourishing properties out of it. It feels like the product inside was only to keep the metal ball running and did nothing to my skin.

Himalaya under eye cream was an impulse purchase because I have tried some really nice Himalaya products and I had high hopes for this one. This one feels like a proper cream but after it absorbed my skin didn't felt moisturized enough, it didn't wow me.

The last one is this Revuele eye serum with vitamin C. I hoped for a lighter texture so I could use it in the morning under my make-up. It is a clear gel that absorbs fast into the skin and out of the three I liked this one the most but I will try something else next time to see if there is something better out there.

There is this big and famous pot of The Body Shop Honeymania body butter. I remember people talking about it back in the days (I believe it is discontinued now) and I ordered it online before there was even a store in my country. The scent was really lovely, more floral than honey like but still very enjoyable. I used up every last bit of it and now I move to something a bit lighter in texture for the Summer.

Next are two Revlon just bitten kissable balm stain in Romantic and Honey. Super popular but now no one talks about them. I initially bought the red one for myself and pink for my sister but after purchasing them I forgot about them so then I just decided to keep both. They were a bit minty which is a plus in my books (they could have even stronger minty feel in my opinion) and the colors were buildable. Warm red was really nice on me but I had some 'difficulties' with the pink Honey shade. On me it always turn bright pink instead of staying modest and barely there. I still use both of them quite a lot, especially because I had to keep reapplying them. Lip stains? Not on my lips, they disappear quite fast so I won't even bother checking other shades or buy some more.

The very last item is this Avon glimmerstick lip liner in Clear. I only use clear lip liner for 'sealing' my lips. When I don't take a proper care of my lips they get dry and flakey, that is when I incorporate clear lip liner. The waxy texture seals the texture so the colored lip product that I apply on top glides smoother. I find some sort of a clear liner essential in my collection but at the moment I have none and I'm just trying to find something new until the Winter.

Honey

Hello,

it has been a while since I posted a lip product and it is time to fix that ;)  I purchased two of these famous, super hyped products and now I will introduce to you my thoughts about what is probably best selling shade from the line.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Honey

It is Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain. I see this shade everywhere, it is a staple in so many beauty routines, so it felt only natural to try this one first.

If you haven't figure it out, the shade is called Honey. Pretty neutral, light pinky nude shade.

The packaging should match the product but this one appears a bit darker but still nice. The scent is pleasant minty but it goes away pretty fast. Somehow I was expecting tingly feeling but it doesn't do that, it feels like a balm, without the cooling effect.

On the back of my hand the shade looks great for everyday, super wearable and after 30 minutes or so, I tried to remove it with a soap and it already stained my skin, my expectations were high.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Honey

Here is the photo of how it looks on my lips after three hours and I swear this is Honey. I didn't need to wait that long to take the photo because a minute after applying it it turned that dark on me. In real life it actually looks even brighter. This is not the color I expected, it is nice but at the moment I'm in the faze when all I want to wear on my lips is something light, barely there.
I also can't wear this on its own because my lips get dry. It did not provide enough moisture to use it as a balm.
Staining power was nice but after 3-4 hours with drinking, the color started to wear off unevenly and I needed to reapply to maintain even color but that also meant that it got darker and more obvious with every added layer.

I like the minty scent but wish it would last longer, the stain is nice but wears of unevenly, I need to carry different lip balm with me in order to keep my lips moisturised and lastly, the color is so different on me and I don't like it that much. I think it will take me a long time to finish it up and after I'm done with this shade I most definitely won't repurchase it. It just didn't blew me away I can only hope that the other shade will be better.

shopping

Hello,

I have been shopping a little and this time I decided to get only lip products (hello lip junkie).

Revlon Balm Stains Honey & Romantic, Misslyn Color kiss lip butter Sunbath

I got two Revlon Balm Stains, the neutral pink is Honey and the red one is called Romantic. Next my eye caught Misslyn Color kiss lip butters which were part of a limited edition back in the summer, I don't know if they made them permanent or they haven't sell them out but never the less I decided to get peachy neutral shade named Sunbath.
I haven't unpacked them yet but I will try them in the near future.
