two singles

 Hello,

I was shopping with my boyfriend and I was eying these two... I know I have enough shadows for life but my boyfriend convinced me to get them both since he saw the spark in my eyes.

All in all it is his fault ;)

Two singles, first is Catrice art colour shadow in Silicon Violet and second is Lavera signature color eye shadow in Dusty Rose.

Silicon Violet has this beautiful lavender/violet shift made out of tons of sparkles and Dusty Rose doesn't look that impressive next to it since it is a matte. Here it looks a bit more nude while in reality is a bit more pink, it is just a really hard shade for me to capture.

Here they are both swatches, Silicon Violet looks glowy and Dust Rose just a bit matte :)
I picked Dusty Rose to also use as a blush, not because it is matte but the shade looks subtle and yet accentuates the cheeks. I had a vision and I think it really works for me :)

Here the shimmers are super visible and give this cool toned look. This is definitely not my usual color option but I decided to be 'brave' and give it a go and I enjoy wearing it more than I anticipated.

The real winner here is Dusty Rose, in real life is more pink than nude and I like it on my eyes but more on my cheeks. I add some highlighter on top and I am good to go. This one ended up being the most practical out of the two and it looks soo good on my complexion. I just can't get enough of it.

Charming Rose and Pink Harmony

Hello,

I'm blushing for not posting in such a long time and that gave me this idea for the post, very obvious  ;)

It is Lavera so fresh mineral rouge powder in the shade Charming Rose. Very coral and bright to give my skin some vitality and healthy radiance.

It has this beautiful print on top but with use it goes away but is there anyone else out there who gets so mesmerized by it? I know that I probably wouldn't look at it twice but I'm super happy that I did. The texture is super creamy soft, it does kick a bit of a powder but nothing too bad.

This blush has become one of my go-to's. Whenever I want to get some fresh flushed cheeks I would grab it and the slight sheen made this color even better. I went to the store to swatch some other shades and my eyes stopped on the pink shade called Pink Harmony (second swatch).

Compared Charming Rose looks pretty orange toned here but when the Pink Harmony isn't on the picture it is more coral but still with rather orange undertone.

I didn't grab the Pink Harmony because I have so many blushes in my stash but when I will manage to use one or two up I will get it for sure. Buttery texture totally convinced me even though the Charming Rose has that beautiful sheen to it and the Pink Harmony unfortunately don't I can 'solve' it with some highlighter on top, right?

Have you already tried their blushes? There isn't a lot to choose from, only four shades but still, the formula is a dream.

Two shopping days

Hello,

I think in one of my more recent posts I said that I will try not to pile make-up and I will rather try to use up what I already have. That is all good but from time to time I have to treat myself with some colorful bits and since my habit isn't expensive I don't feel too guilty.

I visited two different shops and bought some necessities and some extras as well.

On top there is 'new' Essence ultra last lip liner in the  Rosewood High shade. They promise smooth application and waterproof formula, my only hope is that it will survived one meal and I will be happy with it.

Then we have tried and trusted Alverde Rose oil about which I talked here. I haven't had it for almost one year and when I saw it on the shelf I quickly snatch it because I genuinely miss it. The only difference I can spot is that new bottle doesn't come with the plastic see through lid on top of a dropper.

I am a big fan of Catrice camouflage cream in a pot but I also wanted to try the liquid version in the 'bottle' ever since it came out. I finally decided to take a plunge and I picked the lighter version which is 005 Light Natural. On the first glance it looks very light, maybe even lighter than my overall skin, maybe I will learn how to highlight with a concealer next.

Onto the colorful item, it is my first Lavera item and it is So fresh mineral rouge powder in Charming Rose. This color looked so fresh and welcoming that I just couldn't resist. I'm a sucker for this type of bright coral shades.

The last product has the most fun looking packaging and I wanted this shadow ever since I swatched it in the store and then sadly realized that there is only sample left. One week and a half later I tracked it down in different store and I picked it up without any hesitation. The swatch felt buttery soft and super pigmented, the color itself is very neutral looking matte brown, perfect for my crease. It is Essence Live, laugh, celebrate LE eye shadow in the very popular shade T.G.I.F.

I'm excited to use the oil again and for the make-up? I think I'm equally enthusiastic about all of the items.
