Daily glow tint

 Hello,

I am trying a bunch of new lippies and lip tints are in majority, especially shiny ones.

It is Bbia glow tint in the shade Daily. I thought that this shade was appropriate to try out, not too pink, not  too nude and not bright. Perfect neutral, daily shade, just as the name implies.

This shade is a lovely mix of pink and peach, not as nude as I thought but I like it. First swatch is fresh and second was made about 20 min prior. I can see this shade turning a bit deeper on me.

It applies as a tinted lip gloss but unfortunately the shine fades about 20-30 minutes later. I really hopped this glow tint in the name was standing for the high shine for at least one hour but I was disappointed.

Here the second swatch is the dry down, it doesn't leave strong stain and because of that I like it. It looks very natural and even on the lips because of its sheerness.
The scent is very pleasant, fruity and sweet.
I know that stains and dry lips don't mix but I tried it anyway since it leaves subtle stain and what surprised me was the high moisture level. Hydration on my lips went up after about five minutes after applying it, dry patches were smooth and crack free. I love that so I can use it instead of high duty lip balm.

Yes, I am not loving the shine fading so quickly but the shade is nice, it leaves even and light stain, smells great and it is hydrating, because of that i really like it.

Strawberry Sorbet

Hello,

this is my second Ole balm and I am slowly getting obsessed.

It is Ole Henriksen Pout Preserve Peptide Lip Treatment in Strawberry Sorbet.

I already have the Strawberry Sorbet Glimmer and the base color looks very similar, Glimmer has maybe a bit more orange in the peachy base and lots of golden shimmers while this one is pure peach toned and without any sparkle.

I like the soft peach shade and the fact that there is no shimmers, especially golden ones. I think this variant looks better on me and I prefer it over the Glimmer.
The sweet candy like Strawberry scent is the same and I really like it.
The moisturising properties are still there and this keeps my lips soft and chap free all day long.

I like the scent, this color suits me and it is hydrating. I really love using it and I have my eye on some new ones as well but I know that I really should not be buying more since I have a full drawl of lip products.

Empties

 Hello,

this is the second part of my empties for the month of January.

First is a mini of Banilla co. clean it zero cica relief calming melting balm in 7 ml packaging. It was a gift with purchase and I am glad to try it out since I already liked their original. This one had somewhat sweet scent and was very creamy and dare to say soft to the touch. It removed my make-up well and water washed it out really nicely. I liked it a lot and would get this option again.

Next I used up my mini Lanege lip sleeping mask in Berry with only 3g but it still took me weeks to go through it. I love the sweet berry scent, shade was none existing and it gave me a lot of shine. I wish it would be a bit more longlasting but the moisturising properties were there and I think it is worth it.

Lastly there is Catrice Kiss & Glow lip balm in Lust for Love. It looked peachy with golden and green shimmers. The glimmer was intense so I mostly used it at night but I started to notice after application my lips went numb and it was the weirdest feeling so I stopped using it. There is still around two thirds of a product left but I just can't bring myself to use it because I think I am allergic to something. I have never got my lips numb after using a lip product.

Empties

 Hello,

it is the end of the first moth and I managed to use quite a lot of products.

First is Korres Peach Blossom body lotion. I liked thin texture but the scent wasn't what I was expecting. Sweet and slightly fruity but it did not reminded me of Pears or Blossoms, still nice but a little underwhelming just like the previous scents that I have tried from Korres.

Next bottle took me a while to finish up and I am glad because it was expensive. It is Byredo Gypsy Water hair perfume. It reminded me of a fancy spa, refreshing and still warm scent. I loved putting it in my hair and going to bed to relax and sleep. I would get it again but it is pricey and it does not last long. Maybe I will get a perfume version which is probably stronger.

In the tall bottle is Ziaja Cucumber toner and I mostly used it in my spray bottle and spray it over my fresh make-up to hydrate it. I liked it for that but it was nothing too special.

Lastly there are two Biobaza deodorants, first is Winter Magic creamy deodorant with candy cane scent and second is Silky Comfort with Shea butter and Jojoba. I liked the scents but formula did not work for me. I was still sweating because these aren't antiperspirants and I am okay with it but my armpits stank. I have never had deodorants or antiperspirants that would made it worst, honestly I would rather be without than wearing these.

Bottle with pipette is my daily serum with Niacinamide from Revox. It was slightly sticky but after it absorbed it was not detectable and I was able to layer a face cream over it. I really liked it and will buy it again.

White tube is another staple of mine and it is Bioderma sensibio anti redness cream. I had this years ago and I remember this lotion being very greasy so I guess they changed it and made it easier to absorb. I like this new version better and I think I have another tube somewhere already.

Cute cat is Skin79 soothing BB cream. It was not the best for when my skin was dry and flaky because it accentuates that but otherwise I liked it a lot. The shade was a nice match and I liked to use it under my foundation. I would get it again.

Banilla co. Miss Flower & Mr. Honey propolis rejuvenating essence toner was a gift with purchase and the first thing when I opened it is the lovely scent. Very floral honey like and I noticed that it gave my skin a hydration boost, when I use up some other toners and essences I will get this one again.

Golden bottle is Alexandre J.  The Majestic Amber perfume, ambery and sweet scent, at first quite sharp. Not my favorite but nice for longevity. I was glad that I used it up but probably I will not be getting it again.

Last is Avon revitacool base coat. This one is yellow toned and unfortunately it looks like that also on my nails and yellow tone is what I try to avoid and not to add on, so I decided to throw it away since I would rather use something clear or pink toned.

Lively Pink and Barely

 Hello,

my obsession with glossy lips is still in full force and I am trying a lot of lip stylo typed lippies to get that perfect glossy and long lasting lip.

Here I have Heart Percent dote on mood dewy melting lipstick in Lively Pink and Braye melting lipsweet in Barely.

Lively Pink to me looks a bit more like a soft coral shade opposed to the pink in the name and Barely look apricot like with tiny shimmers. It comes off completely sheer but the shimmers add to the gloss.

First swatch is Lively Pink and on the lips this has a little plasticky scent which fades away quickly but it still took me by surprise while Barely has some mint in it and as I experience more Asian lip products this is quite common. It is a little cooling and tingling which is not my favorite but it does go away quickly.

I like the first shade but I definitely have to be next to a mirror to apply it while Barely can be applied on the go. Maybe because it is clear I use more of it and looks glossier and stays like that for a solid hour while Lively Pink is not as mirror like and fades faster.

Under the line I can say that I like them but I don't love them. Lively Pink has weird scent while Barely is cooling and tingling. I like the color of the Lively Pink but it is a bit too soft to be applied without the mirror so here the Barely with no tint wins and the longevity is better. I know I will be wearing them and using them up but probably I will not be buying them again.

Caffeine Rose

 Hello,

as of lately I have been big on lip tints who keep their gloss. I wanted to try this brand and when they had this promotion to get one shade for free I took it.

It is Laka Fruity glam tint in Caffeine Rose. I knew it would be deep brown but I thought that somehow I could make it work (I was not able to choose shades).

It starts very liquid and it is easy to apply. I prefer to start with little product and build the color up.
The scent is grape soda and I absolutely love it.

This shade is deep and warm brown. I have nothing like it in my collection and I was scared to use it. I like to apply very little amount because brown lip isn't what I am used to it. I like that it is glossy even with a thin application. My lips are naturally red so this actually looks more reddish on me but still with a noticeable brown hue.

It leaves pretty strong stain and it is fun to create gradient lips with it but stain is easily removed after eating.

If I am being honest the shade still scares me but the scent, glossiness and longevity of shine is all top tier for me. I think I will get some other shades from this collection which will fit my style better.

Waterism glow melting balms

 Hello,

I am back with more TirTir products and again I just couldn't pick one so I spread out and tried to get different tones and at the end I narrowed it down to three.

They are TirTir Waterism glow melting balms in Mauve Rose, Merry Coral and Salmon Syrup. Packaging is the same as with the lip gloss and while it is a bit odd that the squares don't perfectly add on top of each other I find that to be very charming about their packaging.

They have no scent and leave a little color and some shine behind.

Mauve Rose is brown toned with shimmers, Merry Coral is a bright coral shade and Salmon Syrup in light apricot shade. Last two options are both shimmer free.

They are very soft and shiny but I wish the shine would last for longer. Moisturising properties could be better (I find their tints to be more hydrating).
I like to wear them on their own but also as lip tint toppers. While I was buying them I did not think about it but now that I am swatching them I see how similar they are to the three lip tints that I picked.
So I started wearing tints and then I take their counterpart in lip balm with me to top it off through the day. Actually I think TirTir made that intentional (I have Merry Coral shade in lip balm and tint version) so you can get the same shade within both of their ranges and it is very easy to find since they have the same name. I actually really like that and I can see myself picking Salmon Syrup in the tint version as well.

Merry Coral, Sand Mond & Nutty Pink

 Hello,

here I have some more TirTir products since I have been trying them lately and there are some more products on its way.

All lined up are TirTir Waterism glow tints in Merry Coral, Sand Mond and Nutty Pink (it is part of a different edition so the packaging, the color is different). The scent is very similar to the gloss but here I detect slightly more fruity notes but it is all very subtle.

Mine are all minis, they hold 1,8 ml of product. The wand is regular doe foot applicator and they carry a lot of product, to get that precise application I like to wipe some off so it doesn't spill over my lip lines.

Here I have them in the same order and they are Merry Coral, Sand Mond & Nutty Pink.
Merry Coral is bright coral, application is even and on my already red lips it makes them a bit brighter. I think it brighten my face but I would not be wearing it daily, I am just not used to such bold colors.
In the middle is Sand Mond which is a mix of nude and rosy color with tons of silver shimmers, on my lips it starts turning deeper and more rosy, very nice and shimmery.
Last is Nutty Pink, at first this light peachy nude shade looks paler than my lips but after I apply it it already starts deepening and it makes my red lips just a bit more neutral and rosier. A very lovely shade and I can see myself wearing it daily for work. It has shimmer but less than Sand Mond.

I don't mind these oxidising on my lips and transforming after wear, Merry Coral is the only shimmer free option here but I also feel like it doesn't change that much after wear while the other too both darken and turn rosier on me plus have shimmers.

I love how glossy they get after application, they do create that mirror shine after a few minutes and then the color doesn't transfer. On my glass I can only see some of the shine. Shine is gone around one hour mark (I wish it would last longer but I can always add gloss, the one from TirTir, reviewed yesterday looks beautiful over all three).

Color last for a few hours, these were wiped after around 20 min, if I would leave them longer the stain would be a bit more visible. While wearing them I was eating with them and when I was careful food doesn't impact them much. There is always option of reaplyng and that makes the color deeper instantly.

I am really liking these, the shine, lovely colors, nice scent and longevity are all convincing me that these are top tier. My favorite is Nutty Pink since I will be wearing it for work as well, I could say that it is the most wearable shade for me. I have already purchased some more but I haven't tried those shades yet so we will see if there will be some more awesome shades.

Waterism lip plumper

 Hello,

this is the first post of TirTir product and there are more to come. I started buying them last year and now I decided that it is the time to show them.

First is TirTir Waterism lip plumper. As far as I know it is the only shade available. It looks pink but I think it is just the tinted plastic for the inside and there is tiny shimmers in it.
On the box (it comes in a plastic box whit sparkles on it and I noticed that if the product has shimmers then the box reflex that as well) it says to apply it over lipsticks or lip tints to add glow, at the end it also mention the last option that it can also be used on bare lips. I just find it funny that their primal option is to apply over tinted lips :)

I find TirTir packaging very interesting since all of their lip products are made the same. Three squares and each slightly tilted so it looks like the lid is not secured on top but the product do snap in place and it just slightly tilts. It reminds me of bamboo but in modernised square shape.

The applicator is made out of plastic (I tried Heart Percent lip gloss a while ago with the same type of applicator) and it is very bendable. For me it caries enough product to coat entire lips. Why the plastic is yellow is beyond me, it does look like it was exposed to sun but then some other components would look the same (I have seen reviews from other people and their looks the same color).
The scent is not ovrpowering, it is barely there and it reminds me a bit of a fruity shampoo, something clean. I do find it unusual.
After putting it on it starts 'working'. The tingling appears and it slightly burns. There is no minty flavour or cooling effect so I believe there is some chilly extract (I had some Catrice lip product with chilly and they felt the same) but when I was checking the ingredients list I noticed that there is Menthoxypropanediol which is derivate of menthol. The tingling effect is not strong but if it gets in my mouth it is not pleasant and I can tolerate it.

This comes out clear with some sparse shimmers , some of it is barely visible on the photo above, on the bottom of the swatch.

I like the packaging, the scent is not bad, applicator is useful and it keeps my lips hydrated. The gloss lasts for a good hour. At first the gloss feels a bit a little too liquid and I thought that it would feel like lip oil but when it is on the lips it is not as thin and it gives uniformed shine. It fills all my lip lines and it looks super glossy. There is no stickiness and I like that too.

I find this gloss really nice but if they would stop the tingling effect and get a few more sheer shades I would love it more.

review of BB creams

 Hello,

I lined my current BB creams and I thought it would be fun too see all the different shades all together.

Here is a line of BB creams, first and last are Skin79 Soothing Angry Cat and Brightening Dark Panda, both with SPF 50 and Holika Holika Shimmering petit BB with SPF 45.
The Skin79 have purpose hidden in their names. Soothing one is for oily skin with acne and Brightening is toning down the discoloration but when it comes to the Shimmering its name is is deceiving. There is no shimmers in it.

Here I swatched them in the same order and first, which is Soothing is the best color match for me. Shimmering one is too dark (I have to use it sparingly) and last one, Brightening is very yellow and a bit pale on me. If I would wear them on its own color mismatch could be a problem but I started to wear them after moisturiser and under foundation. I sandwiched it if you wish :)
Both Skin79 BB don't work well when my skin is on the dry side since they both emphasise dry patches so I try to avoid them on those days but then I use Shimmering and it glides like a butter. It also has a thicker, more traditional BB cream feeling and it covers tremendously well.
If I could take the Holika Holika Shimmering formula and take the Skin79 Soothing shade that would suit me the most.

Ginger lip tint

Hello,

I am back with another lip tint. I initially wanted to get two shades but one of them got sold out before I got my hands on it and I can say that I am glad that I did not receive it :)

In the yellow toned cream matte packaging is House of Hur glowy ampoule tint in no. 4 Ginger. I think it was the most toned down shade, very natural and neutral.

It has a normal doe foot applicator but I noticed that the stopper leaves a lot of product on the wand and I get too much product. I started wiping it on the side but since it is on the soft/liquid side it is a bit messy. After using it a few times I have to wipe the rim so I doesn't start leaking.

On the photo above this shade comes of more orange than in real life but I still wanted to include it so you can see that it can be sheered out and it looks more apricot toned. I like the gloss that it gives. When applied it is not as impressive but after a few minutes after it sets it gives a really nice glossy finish.

Here I distributed the tint more evenly and shot it in a different light. I think here it looks more realistic as the shade is more apricot and nude. On my red pigmented lips it comes off a bit deeper but still very natural. I think it stands out in my collection of brights and mostly pinks. It is sheer and plays well even with more pigmented lips. I really like the look on me.
The gloss however disappears pretty fast (think around 15 min and it is a shame because the glossiness looks very nice with this shade).

It leaves even but barely there tint and I am not mad. I like that it is even and I will not complain about sheerness.
Another bad thing is the taste, after a while it develops and it is bad, somewhat chemical and bitter, not nice at all.

I really like the tone, the sheer pigment and even application. On the other hand I don't like how messy it makes the packaging, lack of gloss and icky taste.

I think I will still use it but sparingly and will not be buying more from this line of tints.

Good as New

 Hello,

I new nail polish that I have been wearing for the past few weeks. I am definitely in my sheer era and this one seemed like a mix between base coat and light coverage nail varnish.

Here I have Essie nail perfector in Good as New. I was attracted to the soft pink hue even though I knew it is supposed to dry out matte.

This is three coats on my nails and I can still see my nail line through which I don't mind. Color is a mix between peach and pink, it is a bit warmer than what I anticipated.
Finish is matte and it is interesting with this color. It almost looks like no nail polish and my fingers are just long.
At the end I can say that I like this nail polish. I wish this color would be a bit more cool but this combo sort of masks my nails and I think it looks nice. Finish is also a bit odd but it works. I wear it for a few days on its own and then add clear top coat to refresh it.
Longevity is also very nice, this lasted whole week on my nails.

I can see myself repurchasing this one again, if they will ever come out with a cooler version I will be the first to jump and get it.

Rose blush

 Hello,

I heard good stuff from the blush below and I wanted to try it out. Flora print also helped :)

There weren't a lot of shades to choose from so I picked the softest one to try out from their line. It is Cezanne natural cheek No. 1 named Rose.

Pattern is really pretty but mine is barely visible (I use it a lot). Here, on my photos it apear more apricot like but in reality it is a bit more pink/rose toned. I would say a mix between rose and apricot and there are  golden shimmers all over it.

Brush is soft and I only tried it out, thinking i will hate it but I just ended up using it. It is the perfect size to fit in and application is seamless.

I like to do two swipes with the brush inside the pan and then only apply it on the highest point of my cheeks and then blending it out. I like a little pink accent but it is not too much.

For these swatches I put moisturiser down for the pigment to gip better otherwise swatch would be invisible. On my cheeks I also get this opacity since I put it over my foundation which I powdered down first but not too much. This blush needs a little something to stick to it.

I feel like these swatches don't do it justice. In real life and on my cheeks it is simply put gorgeous. I really like this little pop of color which is still not too powerful.

I like little and sleek packaging and I find the brush very useful.

I would get more shades from this collection and if I accidentally drop this one I am definitely buying it again.

Peach, Rozy and Taro

 Hello,

I have some more of these Fwee beans, this time from their 70% collection all decked out in metallic packaging. There are five shades in total but I got three (one was sold out and one did not really appeal to me).

They are Fwee 3D volumizing glosses in Peach, Rozy and Taro. Packaging looks really nice but I can see how much product is still left in them.

Applicator have the same short wands but they are not weird to hold. The scent is the same, super sweet candy like fruit. I personally really like it and I can't get enough of it.

First is Peach, bright and lively and I have to say that is my favorite. I still don't have 30% Vanilla but I think they might be similar.
Next is Rozy which looks a bit more coral and I like that. Sometimes I like a little pop of glossy coral on my lips and this one really scratches my itch.
Last is Taro and has this beautiful cool tone mauve tone. Whenever I am in the mood for a cooler toned make-up I love reaching for this one.

They are pigmented (they are only available in the 70% concentration) and leave a lot of pigment but also a lot of shine on the lips. I wish they would come out with more sheer formulations out but we will have to see if they will do it in the future.

I love the shades, the scent is gorgeous ,shine is really up there and the longevity is decent. I can see myself wearing these on the regular basis and even getting some more shades.
At the moment I have my eyes locked on 30% Vanilla and 70% Yoghurt.

Doggy palette

 Hello,

for today I have an extremely happy looking eye shadow palette. Just seeing this packaging it makes me smile.

I purchased this cutie from Zeesea and it is from their puppy collection four color eyeshadow in the Amaenbou option. I call it my puppy palette :)

It includes light and warm tones. Three are matte and one is super sparkly. There is also a mirror to help with the application.

Cream color with bone imprint is barely visible on my skin tone but nice for blending the edges, second shade is light brown. I expected this one to be a bit more rosy but it has a touch of orange in it.

Under is matte brown, for me it is nice shading shade and next to it it is orange/golden shimmery shade. Very warm but it is buildable. Light touch just leaves a bit of sparkles but if I want to go with full force I can get this orangey glittery shade all over my lids.

Both brown shades are buildable (I personally prefer lighter touch) and the glitter is too warm toned for me so I use it with a light touch. I wish the cream shade would have a tad more pigment but even with light pigmentation I can find some good use for it.

All in all, this palette isn't ideal for me but I can make all four shades work for me and that makes me happy and I will use my doggy palette in the future.
