Empties

 Hello,

below are my monthly empties, this time right on time :)

First pot is Pantene hair biology full & vibrant hair mask and the scent is very nice (it also stays and lingers the next day). I like the texture which is thick and it stays put for a while I am showering and shaving. It does give me some hydration but I felt like I had to use a little more (in my head I am comparing it with the blue set that I had used up previously). I liked the mask but the blue one was better for me.

Next is the matching shampoo from Pantene hair biology full & vibrant shampoo. It has the same lovely scent and the texture is not too liquid to run down my fingers. I noticed that after I dry my hair or the very next day my hair just don't look like they used to. They look like I am on my second or third day already... I feel like it didn't properly cleaned my hair so I will not be buying this shampoo again. The mask was nice but overall the blue set worked better for me and I will get it again over this pink one.

I purchased some Moroccanoil products and I have received this intense hydrating mask for free. It has their signature scent which I liked a lot and I was using it along with the pink set but also with another cleansing shampoo which is not yet finished and it gave me a nice kick of hydration. I am not so sure about this one. It worked but I don't think it was super spectacular.

Second to last is Avon care avocado replenishing body wash and I had to count (I checked my blog history to find out) to see that this one is my fourth bottle. I really like it since this creamy scent reminds me of Carolina Herrera Good Girl perfume. This big bottle last me a long time and I think I have another bottle somewhere in my stash.

Lastly there is Dove Peach & White Blossom antiperspirant roll-on. It had a fresh Peach scent and it was gorgeous. I started using something else but it didn't work for me so I switched to this one and it worked. Not only I smelled nice but my body odor was nowhere to be detected and I love that. I need to get back to Dove (I remember having some in the past and I always liked them) and especially this particular scent.

It has been a while since I purchased something from The Body Shop and I have decided to go through some of their products before they go bad. In a tin pan is Wild Jasmin body butter which I purchased online because if I would see it in person I probably wouldn't. First the scent is nothing special and somewhat artificial but when I put it on me and started melting into my skin it started to smell really really nice. Sweet Jasmine smelled really comfortable and perfect to go to bed. I loved how my pj smelled in the morning, I would like to get it again.

Next is another The Body Shop item. This Coconut lotion had a very artificial scent and I didn't like it one bit. The plastic touch was awful and I couldn't stomach it. I will blame it on the age of the product because if I would use it sooner it would probably still be okay but it was over its prime and I had to throw it away.

On top is Frudia peach hand cream with the light texture (white lid). A while ago I bought a full set and this one is I think my last one or one of the last ones. It had beautiful Peach scent (it ties with the deo) and even people around me commented at how nice it smelled. I liked the texture, very light, wast absorbing and hydrating. I will get it again among some other scents but this Peach one was one of my favorites for sure.

Underneath there is Teaology Peach tea hydra cream. In the past I had a mini and I liked it enough to purchase the big one but apparently now my skin was a bit too dry and this cream didn't hydrate me enough. When I put a serum under this cream it did not want to stick to it, it was best to use on dry skin and then it completely dried and my skin still felt a bit thirsty. I probably will not buy it again, I still prefer the matcha green gel.

Bottle is The Ordinary Argireline solution 10%. I heard a lot about it and I had to get it. It is like water so I had to be careful not to spill it, thanks for the pipette I was less clumsy. I used it around my eyes, on my forehead, around my smile lines and what was left I 'wiped' on my neck. I think I noticed a difference around my eyes and on my forehead and I like that. I already bought a new bottle.

Next is another used up Catrice ultra last fixing spray. I go through these like water but it is okay since they are inexpensive and they work for me. I still have a bunch of backups so I am good for a while but I also have some other fixing sprays, from other brands but this one I trust and I am already using a new bottle.

Last two are perfume bottles. First is Michael Kors Gorgeous! with white floral notes (I can pick up sweet Tuberose which is one of my favorites) and some tobacco notes. I find this one different than anything in my collection and it will be missed but I have already too many bottles. Maybe when I get through some more I will get Super Gorgeous! which is supposed to be a bit stronger and deeper.

Travel bottle is Replica On a date. I feel for it after I tried the sample and purchased 30ml bottle and later I bought a set with another 30ml and this travel version. It is a fruity (blackcurrant) and sweet rose scent. Surprisingly long lasting scent and really juicy. I am glad that I have two more bottles so I will not have to miss this gorgeous scent.

Coco Colada

 Hello,

for today I have a returning product but in a different shade.

It is Catrice Melt & Shine Coco Colada juicy lip balm (I already purchased and used up two shades). This time around I bought third shade online and I chose this one because it was on sale :)

This shade is warm nude and not something I would pick for myself if I would see and swatch it before. I can see why it was on sale :)

On the photo above the shade appears somewhat orange/warm. Definitely not my favorite lip color, some people can pull it off but I think I am not one of them. Fortunately it is pretty sheer and barely visible.

I really like the shine on these but they are short lived, not very hydrating but they are inexpensive. I recently discovered Rom&nd glasting melting balm and while it it twice or three times the price it works better so probably I will not be buying these Catrice ones again.

Pink Lemonade

 Hello,

in my 'recent' Asian haul I purchased this little star. I was super excited for it and so far it is one of my favorites to look at.

This cutie is Dasique Pure water lip gloss in the shade Pink lemonade. Bottle is quite wide with a star on top, the packaging only holds 4ml, I was honestly thinking there is more by just seeing how big the packaging is.

Wand is slim and pretty average and the star on top isn't too uncomfortable to hold. I quickly noticed a sweet and sour scent. It reminded me of Haribo frogs (I actually even purchased them and I can confirm that they are similar). I really like the scent and I can't get enough of it.

This shade, Pink Lemonade is such a bingo for me. I adore these vivid, bright pinks when they don't lean into fuchsia territory. It gives me this juicy look, shade is transparent but color is still visible. I love that gravity doesn't pull the pigment down but it stays even, until it starts sheering and disappearing but it does it evenly. There is no tint left behind.

I really like this lip gloss. Packaging is cute and different, shade that I picked out is perfect. Scent is very nice and pleasant, the only thing that bothers me is the longevity. This gloss sticks around for about 45min, I wish it would last longer.
I purchased two more shades and I hope they will arrive soon :)

Pink Glow

 Hello,

to break the moody Autumnal weather I have something extra glittery prepared for today.

It is Bobbi Brown highlighting powder in Pink Glow, I personally really like pink highlighter and this one was the only one from BB available in this mini packaging. So at the end it was an easy decision.

The pillowy square pattern is beautiful and the random mix of shades which all mixed together should give me a subtle pink glow. It looks like the pattern is unique and so is the amount of each shade. I have seen some people receiving more white than pink glow but I was okay with gambling if those tho would be the options. I was not prepared to receive bronzy one.

First I made a wide swatch with a brush and closer to my wrist there is a finger swatch. I applied it with a brush with a few layers to really make it bold and obvious (I wear it much lighter on my cheeks), finger swatch was made with only two strokes and it is really bold.

Shade is much more bronze and gold than pink. The glitter is everywhere and it is large. To me this looks way more like an eyeshadow than highlighter. I tried to wear it on my cheeks but I don't think it is for me. I use just one swipe and dust off as much glitter as possible but it still ends up glittery. I wear it as an eye shadow but even for that it is too warm for my liking. Maybe I will get more wear out of it in the summer or maybe I will give it to my sister.

Come up Roses

 Hello,

I feel like I haven't tried anything from Rimmel in a long time so it is about time to show this lippie that I had since last year.

It is Rimmel lasting provocalips with longasting lip tint and hydrating lip balm on the other side in the option Come up Roses.

The tint is dark mauve with some shimmers which become even more obvious when it dries up.

Lip balm looks a bit cheap to me because the balm itself doesn't fill to the sides and it started to move around the tube a bit so I try to twist it up just a little bit everytime I use it.

Here they are freshly applied, colored tint looks very bold and pigmented and balm is just clear but shiny (here it almost looks like it has some golden color to it but it is just the light, it is completely clear).

Here the tint is completely dried and even here it looks dry. This one sucks all the life out of my lips. It visibly dries them, showcases every wrinkle and my lips even feel uncomfortably dry. While the formula is drying I must obtain all the lip smacking otherwise there will be uneven application as shown above in the middle.

On the bottom part of the tint I have applied a light layer of balm to show the color with some shine. The color seems to come to life and my lips instantly feel better. None of the products have any distinctive scent or taste.

This color is nearly impossible to sheer out (I tried but I only make it uneven) and on its own I find it to be too bold for my liking. I absolutely hate dry feeling and how it makes my lips feel. That being said I love the clear lip balm. It is hydrating and I started to use it in the morning after I get up and I start getting ready for the day.

I think I will only use up the balm and when it will be gone I am tossing this pack. It is just simply not my cup of tea.

Tahnk you for reading and have a nice day

Veiled Rose

Hello,

tinted lip balms and lip glosses are my favorite lip products, if I can combine the two then that is my dream come true.

This is Rom&nd glasting melting balm in the shade Veiled Rose. I am in search of a super glossy tinted lip balm and seeing this one with a lot of praise I just had to get it.

Veiled Rose shade is also very popular since it looks very natural so I decided to get exactly this shade to try out before opting for something bolder.

This color really looks natural on me, it is pigmented enough to make my lips look like one shade but still sheer (it comes handy while applying it without a mirror). The shine is respectable (I hoped to be even glossier) but it does last. This shine sticks around for a little over than a hour and the color wears off nicely. It doesn't leave any tint behind but they also don't claim that.

Lip balm is very sweet scented like some candy but I can't think of any specific type.
There really is nothing which would make me dislike it.
I like the sturdy packaging, sweet scent, shade is perfect and the shine is not bad. I like to longevity and how nicely it wears off, it keeps my lips hydrated all day long.
I am eying some more shades, I think I will get some nudes, corals and maybe even brighter pinks. I will see how long it will take me to get through this one and if this shade will still be in my heart I will get it again.

Empties

 Hello,

below is my second part of September empties and they are all among smaller tubes :) There is a bunch of minis :)

First there are two Origins Ginzing into the glow brightening serums. I already had a full size and I loved it. These two mini 15 ml tubes I have received as gift with purchases and I used them up with joy. Texture is very watery, I don't need whole lot to cover my entire face so serum last a long time and my skin loves it. This one is gone but now I see similar product with a different packaging, maybe they revamped the formula?

There is another Origins product, this one is Ginzing SPF 30 daily moisturizer with slight orange scent. I tried it on my face but I found it to be too greasy on me so I just used it on my body. I have other face sun lotions that I like better so I will not be buying big tube of it.

Next one is Smashbox photo finish Illuminate glow primer. It has peach base and slight glow but I have noticed that most of the glow came from the texture, on me it was a bit too greasy and when I put foundation over it it started to come off. It just wasn't compatible with my favorite foundation so I used it on my days off without foundation and on my neck and chest area.

Fifth mini is Lancome anti-wrinkle, firming tone evening cream. At first it felt lightweight but it left a greasy layer afterwards. I used it up at night but I didn't like the greasy feeling so I will not be buying it.

With a light blue lid there is Biotherm life plankton elixir. Light almost gel like texture and it was nice to use under heavier creams for added hydration. It was mini and hard to see if it works for me but I have already purchased a big size of it so I hope my skin will really like it (after buying the big size I have received this mini as a free gift with purchase).

First full sized item here is Avene soothing eye contour cream. It had a nice texture, it was fast absorbing and it didn't irritate my eyes, it was nice but nothing too special. I had eye creams that I liked better.

Purple one is Balea intensive lip balm with shea butter. I really liked it, it was hydrating and on the softer side. I like my lip balms to be soft so they can just melt into my lips, I also like the glossy look and this one covered all of that. Unfortunately I have lost it and I found it now one year later, it was buried inside my couch and now it has a weird scent so I didn't used it all the way up ;( If this is still available I would get it again.

Next to it is another lip balm and I deliberately turned it away since it is no name balm with a company name written all over it. It is a promotional balm and it is generic one. Slight vanilla scent which turns plastic, after around 15 min it disappears from my lips and I have to reapply non stop and my lips were still dry. At the and I didn't even bother with it since it isn't completely finished but I don't care. I just want it gone.

Last but not least is Benefit fan fest mascara in black. It is also a mini (it has a super short wand) but the brush itself is full sized. It had a slightly curved wand and I really liked it. Usually I use rubber bristles and this one has more of a traditional wand but we got along well. I liked to put on one layer, occasionally two since I don't like clumped lashes. This one behaved well for my needs but I could if I wanted to make it more obvious. I think it is a very versatile mascara and I like that. I already put it into my online shopping bag but I can't bring myself to buy it since I have a few others that I have to go through but this one is definitely one of my favorites.

Sundown Dream and Summer Rose

 Hello,

I haven't ventured a lot into cream blushes. I really like the look of a glowy cheek but I am always scared for my hair to get stuck (just like lip gloss and hair).

As a beginner I decided to go with a cheaper options. Here are two Barry M cream blush formulas. Big one is hazy sunset cream blush in Sundown Dream and tube one is fresh face cheek and lip tint in Summer Rose.

Here I made significant swatches (this is my second try) to better show the color. Cream Sundown Dream looks a bit brighter pink than liquid Summer Rose. It looks lighter and more pastel but this one when blended out looks more peachy pink.

On the photo above I removed the excess to showcase colors how they look blended on the skin-more realistic version if you wish. Color on the cream doesn't change much but liquid looks more peachy. It also leaves a stain behind.

On the tube it says that it is for lip and cheeks but I don't like it on my lips. It dries them out and showcase all of the wrinkles, the color also looks a bit pale on me so for me this is an exclusive cheek product.

I prefer to use cream on top of my make-up for a little color and glow, if I use little it doesn't interfere with my foundation but it also doesn't show up much :)
Liquid is best to be applied on bare face and with foundation on top. With this technique I use a little more product but since I don't see myself using this daily nor do I want (I find them to be more time consuming than powder blushes) I don't feel guilty to use a little more product per use. At least I will use them up somehow.

I really like the look of cream cheeks on others (that glow is uncanny) but on me I just don't care. Powders are easier and with some highlighter on top I can make them glow as well.

Power Stay

Hello,

products shown below are my oldies but goodies. I was searching for a glossy and longlasting lip stains for years. I had some from L'oreal but they had nasty taste to them and I don' think they make them anymore...

Here I have Avon power stay liquid stain lippies in just 3ml tubes (super small but that is their regular size). Bottom up is She's a Natural and peachy one is Stay Naked. The claims on the tube sounded intriguing so I picked up two shades (again I could not decide on only one).

The have 'regular' doe foot applicator, it is pretty small and I have to go inside the tube twice to get enough product since I like the glossier lip.

Brown/nude She's a Natural is warm toned nude and it reminds me of something I shouldn't think of when discussing lip products :(
Stay Naked is peach toned and has this lovely vibrancy to it. Nice to brighten up the lip.
After applying it they look like lip glosses but quickly loose some of glossiness. This adapting faze last a few minutes, the color shifts (on my pigmented red lips they turn deeper) and when the true color is  revealed the gloss comes back and stays glossy for more than an hour and a half.

Above the colors haven't shifted quite jet and they remain in their original straight out of the tube shades.

On the photo above the colors started to morph (I noticed that on my hand they don't look as red as on my lips since the color of my skin is more neutral opposed to my reddish lips). They are more blended out and this shine is how it is like for next hour and a half. It is not super glossy but it looks like a nice thick layer of balm is applied over it.

Here is more of a realistic color scheme of them after a good hour. The shades don't appear that different but the brown one remains deeper. On my lips She's a Natural looks reddish brown and Stay Naked slightly tones down my redness.

I like how longlasting they are and they remain glossy for a long time. They leave some stain (deeper shade more than the peach tone) and the scent isn't too bad. They have some sweetness but also some plastic 'notes'. It does disappear rather fast but I just can't get a longlasting glossy tint with a nice scent :)

I still like these, Stay Naked is my favorite and I might get some more in the future.

Empties

 Hello,

this is my first part of my September empties. I had to split them up otherwise it would be just too long and there would be too many products.

I cleared up a bottle of Iunik calendula complete cleansing oil with a convenient pump. This oil was nice, sometimes I only had issues with mascara but it did remove everything else. It did not irritate my eyes and that is a big plus. I found new bottle at an amazing price with the other one for free so now I have two backups :)

I found this Caudalie beauty elixir toner at an amazing price It is supposed to smooth your skin and make it more glowy. First that I noticed are two layers and I had to shake it really well to mix both liquids and the minty scent. Very nice and awakening in the morning but I haven't noticed any major difference. It was nice and fancy to use, the mist was super fine (unfortunately the bottle is not refillable otherwise I would reuse it). If I will find it at a reasonable price I might get it again but it is nothing too special for me.

A while ago I had issues with my skin barrier and dry patches on my face so I decided to go with this Purito dermide cica barrier sleeping pack. It is a thicker cream which I would apply on its own or layer it on top to create nourishing sandwich. If there was a dry patch I would apply some more to it and by the morning my skin was better. I would get it again.

This NYX the face glue was a gift with purchase and it turned out to be a really nice fixing spray. On the bottom there is a white mattifying powder and to work properly I had to shake it well before using it and it kept my make-up put for longer than no fixing spray. This is close to my favorite Catrice one and this one doesn't make me feel like I used hair spray. I will get it again.

Big tube is Avon care Watermelon daily hydration body lotion gel. It had a light cream scent and with some imagination I could see the watermelon in the background. Not super strong in the scent department but I ended really liking that. The nourishing properties were there and I used it with joy.

Last is also Avon care overnight moisture hand cream with lavender. It had a nice texture not too light and not too greasy but it was on a slightly heavier side, lavender scent was pleasant and calming. I really liked it but it took me a while to go through it since I only needed a little when I used it.

Juicy Bombs

 Hello,

lip products are definitely my soft spot. I don't have big juicy lips myself but with a little help of a lip product that can happen. I hoped these would be nice since I usually have a good reaction to their lippies. I placed them in order of how I thought I would like them, from least to my favorite shade.

These are my first Essence juicy bomb lip glosses and instead of getting just one I purchased a whole set of five around last Christmas, since it was a holiday special. I think they are all limited edition shades and when I will use them up they will be gone. They have unique scents for each shade and I really like that touch.

First one is Roasted Almonds and it has an artificial nutty/cookie scent, not unpleasant but it also disappears fast like all of them do.

Bright red is Candy Apple and has a sweet, juicy apple scent.

Tangy Tangerine with sweet tangerine scent, it is not citrusy or zesty and I really like it.

Second to last is Candy Cane and the only two toned shade and it has that huba buba chewing gums scent but with a slight artificial scent to it, nothing too much but enough to detect it.

Mellow Marshmallow has almost the same scent of chewing gums like the previous, minus the artificial scent.

First swatch is Roasted Almonds and has a clear base with yellow/golden sparkles. I like to wear gold jewelry but I don't like gold or yellow make-up on me so this one is my least favorite because of the color of the sparkle. The particles are big and noticeable. I would like it better if the glitter would be smaller or less yellow.

Candy Apple is the only one with a distinct base and red lip gloss can be tricky because of the bleeding over the lip line but fortunately I can apply a very thin coat and it gives me just a bit of a reddish tint with barely there shimmer, still better than yellow glitter.

Middle one is Tangy Tangerine with a slight peachy base with tiny peachy and golden shimmer. I really like this one and I would say that this one and the next two are my favorites but I decided to sort them in order and since I prefer pink over peachy tones this one ended in third place.

Next one is Candy Cane and it is the only two toned one with pink stripes in the tube. So far, when the tube is still relatively full, stripes are visible but I assume when I will get it somewhere half way through they will merge and there will not be such a distinctive line. On the lips the two colors mix and it is fine. In general they are all on the sheer side.

Last one is Mellow Marshmallow soft pink with the same shimmer then Tangy Tangerine but this one with pink and gold mixture.

When I apply them they feel plush and I thought that they will last longer but after around 20 min the texture becomes thiner and starts disappearing. I would say that the wear time is around one hour and then I reapply. Not the best but since they are in tubes I find them easier to touch up than doe foot applicators.

If I briefly compare them with Essence extreme glosses those last longer but I prefer the tube design. They both have multiple color options and equally fast they are discontinuing shades and replacing them with what is hot right now. At the moment that is red and deep brown, not my shades but at least I will not be spending on them and rather use what I already have. Win win situation for me ;)

Donut applicators

 Hello,

today I merged two products together into one post simply because I purchased them together and they both have unique applicators and I wanted to compare them.

In bright pink tube is unleashia sunset dazzle gloss balm in the Ibiza option, second is Etude sugar coloring  jelly balm in Bare Pink.

I have learned that these are silicone donut shaped applicators and are gaining popularity. They are soft and surprisingly nice to apply product. I thought that they would be a bit awkward to apply since they are large but they are quite accurate and don't spill much product. I feel like they will be less leaking than normal applicators.
I am a sucker for a tube lip balms/lip glosses and when I saw these I wanted to try them out. They just happened to be with these new applicators. I had a hard time picking just one shade from each but at the end I managed.

Ibiza is bright and pigmented but also sheer enough that mirror isn't necessary if applied in a thin coat. It adds brightness without being too much.
Bare Pink is this gorgeous lavender toned soft pink, slightly milky and with tiny blue/purple shimmer. On the lips it is mostly clear, if I apply thicker coat, there is a bit of milkiness present but it doesn't bother me. It can make my lips a smidge paler but I like it just as much as I like the Ibiza to be bright and brings light to my face.
I guess I picked different enough shades to accommodate my two opposite moods and I love them both, they are just for different occasions.

Here I had my hand tilted to get a better angle of the shades and Bare Pink from Etude started to run down while Ibiza remained in its place. That tells me that even though Ibiza has a brighter and more obvious pigment which can be dangerous (imagine having it on the lips while gravity is pulling the pigment down and creating uneven look) but that doesn't happen. Even wearing it for days all day long it never happen to start dripping or spilling over my lips. It is hydrating enough that even after a full day of wearing it my lips weren't dry. The scent is fruity, maybe a bit like apple and pleasant but there is no taste and it does fade after a few minutes of wearing it. I like this one a lot and I started to check shade Malibu, more pink and slightly lighter tone.

Bare Pink has more liquid texture but that isn't an issue since this looks almost clear on me (if it would be more pigmented that could be an issue) but I still love the shade. This lavender pink shade is gorgeous and I could stare at it all day long. The scent is similar to sugar cookies and I like it a lot. Different from unleashia but very nice as well. Here comes the minus which is a big one or rather to say very important to me. This lip balm dries out my lips. I can use it once and then reapply (they both last around an hour and a half on me) then I start to feel my lips to peel. After two or three hours my lips are dry and flaky just because I used this lip balm :(

Bottom line is that they are both lip balms in tubes with the same donut applicators but there is also where similarities ends. Unleashia Ibiza is bright, fruity smelling and nourishing. Etude made with Bare Pink amazing milky shade, it smells like baked goods but something in it just dries my lips like crazy. I am sad that it doesn't work for me because there are some more shades that I wanted to get but now I probably won't because chapped lips aren't worth it.

Empties

 Hello,

on the photo below is my second part of my August empties. This time around I have more make-up products.

First bottle is Clean Cool Cotton perfume which smelled like a load of clean laundry. Very pleasant but I prefer my perfumes to smell like perfumes. I used it to spray my clothes with it and refresh them. For the price this one lasted a long time on fabric and I already miss it. I will probably repurchase it and continue using it as a laundry spray.

Next bottle is Elie Saab Girl of Now perfume and this one I loved. Sweet and nutty, rich and thick smell is what I love to wear recently so going through this bottle was easy (don't get me wrong, it took me years to finish it up but recently I wore it daily). I already found a really good deal and replaced it with another bottle also in the largest 90 ml size.

I have used up a bottle of foundation. It is my beloved Catrice HD liquid coverage foundation in Light Beige. This one is the closest to my skin tone and I love the coverage that it gives. It is buildable (sometimes I use it also as a concealer over pesky pimples to better cover them up). It stays on for hours and it doesn't break me up. I am already using a new bottle and have another back up of it.

I used up Essence extreme shine lip glosses in Dusty Rose and Shadow Rose. I used them up relatively fast, even though they do last an hour and a half on average on my lips and I have used them a few times a day. I really like their formula but the pink option in Dusty Rose was my favorite, nude shade was a bit dark and warm on me and I just wanted to use it up.

Last tube is Nudestix hydra-peptide lip butter in Pink Kiss. It has a soft pink tint, minty tingly feel and a sweet vanilla/sugar scent. I am no longer a big fan of cooling lip products but this one isn't too strong so the feeling is bearable. I like the scent and the shade, it doesn't dry out my lips so I purchased a set of trios which includes this shade as well so I already have a backup and two new shades to play with.

I amplify

 Hello,

for today I have a sparkling beauty. I picked it out randomly online and it did look a bit more pink but still I am happy with the peachy tone.

This beauty is L'oreal glow paradise balm in gloss, my shade is I amplify. Tube looks regular sized and it holds 7 ml of product which means that it will last me a long time.

Applicator has shape of an eight and holds a decent amount of product. Immediately after opening it strong minty scent fills the room. I got scared since I can't stand strong minty, tingly lip products. I guess my lips just got too sensitive. After applying it it feels okay but the feeling grows stronger every minute, this gloss is one of the strongest that I have ever tried and I don't know how long it will take me to use it up since I know I will use it sparingly.

There isn't much of a base color but multicolored shimmer is present. Lip gloss sparkles from pink to gold. If I apply it like a regular gloss it is glossy and juicy but the cooling effect is too strong for me. I prefer to apply thin layer but then I just don't get the full shine. I envy people who can handle strong cooling effect because they will be able to wear this one in their full glory.

In certain light the sparkle almost disappears completely and it looks almost clear. The particles are slightly noticeable if I press my lips together, I can slightly feel them. It is not too bad but there are other glosses out on the market which have smaller shimmer.

Here is another swatch just to show how the sparkles almost hides under certain angles but the gloss remains very juicy looking.
I am not the biggest fan of strong minty lip products so this is not going to end up among my top five and so far I am not even sure I should even keep it. Maybe I will wait till the next Summer and see if I will use it during the hot months otherwise I will give it to my sister.

Purple and Pink

 Hello,

I recently talked about these Essence lip glosses and today I have some more to show.

They are Essence extreme shine lip glosses in Purple Rain and Dusty Rose. Nether of the shades matches the color in the name in my opinion but they are both beautiful so I don't mind it. They have lovely vanilla scent and are extremely glossy.

Purple Rain is rather nude with warm toned base but intense shimmer makes it cool because of the silver sparkles. Dusty Rose is soft pink also with sliver shimmer and this one is my second tube and probably also the last one since it is discontinued shade. I absolutely love Essence lip glosses, I always did and with this 'new' formula they didn't miss. I just hope they wouldn't discontinue my favorite shade Dusty Pink. Purple Rain is close second.
