Hello,
recently I picked up hunger for the brand Nudestix. At one point I had more than 20 products in my online basket just from them and since I have never tried anything from them, I thought that I have to start with baby steps. First I tried only one of the balms below and since I liked it enough I later purchased the trio that I am showing below. The price was right because I have received one almost for free opposed buying them one by one.
The set is called nude juicy plump lips (there is also a shimmery set available and maybe I already have that one too ;) and it contains three Nudestix hydra-peptide lip butters in Sugar Plum, Pink Kiss and Dolce Nude. They are large 15 ml tubes and are full sized products. If you buy them in a set, you just commit to all three shades.
These have 'regular' slanted tip which I really like. I am used to it but I also think it works. Every once in a while the tip and screwing mechanism have to be wiped because if not it starts leaking (I learn that the hard way, but keep in mind I already finished one tube up completely and I was carrying it around with me for months).
What surprised me the most is that every shade also has a different scent, some of them more unique than other but I think it is a really nice touch.
They are all very glossy and shiny, very much to my liking.
Here they are again in order shown below, the tube color doesn't match perfectly to the color of the product.
First is Sugar Plum which is plum toned with brown tones. On my lips I noticed that the pigment migrates down and it looks like I am wearing a darker lip liner (on the swatch you can see that one side is a bit deeper and it also appear like so on my lips after some wear time). The issue is solved just by pressing my lips together and it is okay. The color is a bit deep but I actually really like it on me but using a mirror is a must for me. The scent/taste is sweet berry which reminds me of candy or sugared plum, a bit unexpected with a cooling minty feeling but very refreshing. Literally and figuratively since I have never tried minty/cooling lip product with fruity scent.
Next is Candy Pink a soft neutral pink shade which is sheer and perfect to apply on the go, no mirror needed. This is also the one that I purchased first and it convinced me to buy this trio afterwards (this Candy Pink shade is now a repeat in my collection, but a little hands up, I have already used it up ;). This one has a typical vanilla-mint scent/taste, it is nice but a bit expected. Here it is the shade that I really like and in the Summer time this one was constantly in my pocket.
Last one is Dolce Nude with a super warm nude tone and loads of golden shimmer. Particles aren't noticeable if I press my lips together but here is the shade a bit of an issue for me. I personally just don't like such warm nudes on me but I can get around it if I apply a small amount but then I loose juiciness/glossy touch. The scent here is like caramel or freshly baked cookies, very nice and Winter appropriate but I just don't see myself repurchasing it. I probably will slowly use it up but will not be buying this shade again.
Thank you for reading and have a nice day
