Hello,
I have really feel into a rabbit hole with Asian make-up and all of their cute stuff. This pink stylo lip gloss is just one example of it.
I could not resist Gege bear flower garden rabbit solid lip gloss. Mine is in the 02 shade (I have to admit that I have picked the wrong color, I wanted to get one of the pinks...).
They all feature a rabbit, mine is a musician.
Product comes in a cute heart shape and you click it to get it out. It is very soft so I try to get as little as possible and I still make a mess since some of the product gets pushed aside and ends up being a bit messier than I thought.
Most of the shades are pink and I think I picked the only not pink shade and it was by mistake :(
On the swatches online it looks like it is going to be really juicy, like real lip gloss but mine is more like a creamy lipstick and an orange tone to top it all off. I feel like warm nudes and oranges don't look very nice one me so this shade is a bit of a fail for me. It is not terribly wrong on me but I would prefer the pinkier tone.
First swatch is heavy and next to it I tried to make it more light and it is also my preferred way to wear it. It is easy to get too much product on and since it is very pigmented reapplying it in front of a mirror is a must. My lips were hydrated (noting too crazy) but still they weren't dry after a whole day of wearing it.
The scent is somewhat sweet grape with a touch of plastic note (nothing too intense, just a whiff).
If I was expecting a full blown lipstick this wold be nice but it was advertised as a gloss and it just isn't shiny enough to be that.
Second disappointment comes from the shade but that is entirely my fault.
I still like the packaging, the sweet grape scent and that it doesn't dry out my lips. I will use up my guitar playing rabbit but I will not be buying more of his friends.
Thank you for reading and have a nice day
