Sundown Dream and Summer Rose

 Hello,

I haven't ventured a lot into cream blushes. I really like the look of a glowy cheek but I am always scared for my hair to get stuck (just like lip gloss and hair).

As a beginner I decided to go with a cheaper options. Here are two Barry M cream blush formulas. Big one is hazy sunset cream blush in Sundown Dream and tube one is fresh face cheek and lip tint in Summer Rose.

Here I made significant swatches (this is my second try) to better show the color. Cream Sundown Dream looks a bit brighter pink than liquid Summer Rose. It looks lighter and more pastel but this one when blended out looks more peachy pink.

On the photo above I removed the excess to showcase colors how they look blended on the skin-more realistic version if you wish. Color on the cream doesn't change much but liquid looks more peachy. It also leaves a stain behind.

On the tube it says that it is for lip and cheeks but I don't like it on my lips. It dries them out and showcase all of the wrinkles, the color also looks a bit pale on me so for me this is an exclusive cheek product.

I prefer to use cream on top of my make-up for a little color and glow, if I use little it doesn't interfere with my foundation but it also doesn't show up much :)
Liquid is best to be applied on bare face and with foundation on top. With this technique I use a little more product but since I don't see myself using this daily nor do I want (I find them to be more time consuming than powder blushes) I don't feel guilty to use a little more product per use. At least I will use them up somehow.

I really like the look of cream cheeks on others (that glow is uncanny) but on me I just don't care. Powders are easier and with some highlighter on top I can make them glow as well.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day
