Jelly Icing

 Hello,

this is my fourth type of lip product from the brand and honestly so far they did not convinced me, hopefully this one will be more catered to my taste. 

There is a wide selection of shades but my fear of the brand convinced me to try only one and if I will like it I will get more. I was debating between this one and the blue one.

So, this is Nyx Jelly Job Full-Bodied Shine Lip Gloss in Jelly Icing. A cool toned pink without shimmers.

Since this one comes in a tube I always expect it to have a straight on the tube applicator but it has pull out wand. It is different, made of hard plastic. I had some very flexible ones but this one practically doesn't move and it is slightly tilted so it does pick a lot of product.

Jelly Icing is very cool toned pink with some violet tones in it. When on the lips it sheers out leaving a very slight cool tone behind. It is very glossy but I expected a slightly more longlasting effect.

Since it is very sheer I like to pack it on and then it lasts for about 40-50 min, it leaves no color behind.

I would prefer if this would apply straight from the tube (without the wand), I love the sweet cookie/brown sugar scent (it is very unique and delicious) and shine. 

I know there are some other more pigmented shades and I am not interested in them because super pigmented shades and a lot of gloss doesn't work well for me. 

This one is really nice but I wish it would last longer on the lips but the scent is super nice. I also wish it would apply from the tube instead having this hard wand but the shine and this shade is lovely.

This one is actually really nice but will I buy more? I don't know, maybe after a while I will get the blue one or maybe some other shades that so far I have not set my eye on it or maybe they will come out with a more sheer versions... so many maybes...
