fat oils

 Hello,

I purchased these two when everyone loved them and I just couldn't miss out on it. They were supposed to be very glossy and sheer, moisturising and hydrating -everything I like in a lip product.

I often have a hard time choosing only one shade so often I pick two :)
On the photo above there are two different shades of NYX fat oil and just by looking at them you wouldn't be able to tell since they look so similar.

Up close the first bottle which is Supermodel has some shimmer while Missed Call has none, even looking super close you can barely tell them apart.

I even took a photo to showcase that they are supposed to be different shades. I felt fooled when I unpacked them. I was expecting Missed Call to be lighter, more Barbie pink but make it sheer, it turns out they are both berry pinks.

On the swatch above the difference is the most noticeable. It is not the shimmer that sets them apart but intensity and slight tone.
Supermodel is a bit lighter, rosier and also a bit more sheer while Missed Call looks more berry, deeper and more pigmented.
The scent is fruity and slightly sweet, nothing wrong about it but the taste is non existent. Between the two Supermodel is my favourite since it is less pigmented and I can put a thicker layer on and then it also looks glossier/jucier.
I don't find them to be longlasting, the scent is nice but once it is on the lips it is gone and I just don't find them glossy enough for my taste. In conclusion I probably won't get them again but if I would maybe Supermodel or Chilling like a Villan, for the name :)
I almost forgot to mention the most important thing, I do find them moisturising. When I wore them all day long my lips were hydrated without any sign of dry patches. I give them point for that.
