Rosy Whisper

 Hello,

this palette is an accidental purchase. I was in the store and swatched tester, I liked what I saw shade wise and shades were buttery. Without second doubt I picked palette which was behind it (wrapped in box) and pay for it. Only when I got home and opened it I saw that these are not shades that I have swatched...

It is Makeup factory artist studio eyeshadow quad in Rosy Whisper. It contains four berry toned shadows and I actually have nothing alike if I look at the bright side of it :)

It contains one matte shade and other three have shimmer in various sizes so not only the shades are different but also the amount and intensity of sparkle is different.

First matte shade is true berry and I used it as a liner, it makes my eyes appear more blue than they are. It stays put, there is no bleeding or printing on the top part of my lid (I have hooded lids) so that speaks of quality.

Second shade is a bit paler and warmer with shimmer which appears more like a sprinkle on top. Base shade is a bit scary for me but if I sheer it out it is not that bad, I think the shimmer helps me wear it a bit more often than if it would be just a matte shade.

Third shade is extra shiny and glowy. I think this one is my favorite since it is not too berry and has the best shine, almost mirror like :)

Last one has more of a base with fewer shimmers, it is still shimmery just not as the previous shade. I opt for this one when I want less glow and more of a sateen finish (it is not a true sateen shadow but compared with the rest it is closer).

The quality is there and for me it is only the shade selection that feels a bit off. I see the vision but I don't experiment a lot with my colors and berry is not my cup of tea shade, I appreciate that they used different finishes and made every shade a stand alone option. I am having fun with these but usually I just want to reach to third, sometimes to fourth shade. First two don't get much love.
I went back to the store and checked more shades and picked two more palettes (I made sure that i have checked that I got the right ones ;)

Thank you for reading and have a nice day
