Fairy eye shadow

 Hello,

I swatched these a few times in the store and I was telling myself that I really don't need more shadows... but then the discount came and I just grabbed them, duo was even the last one and I just had to take it with me :)

They are Catrice art colours single in Frosted Dust and Catrice Diamond Treasures duo in Fairy Dust. It is a coincidence that I picked two with similar names.

This Frosted Dust single was on my whishlist ever since it launched, I just had a vision and fingers crossed it works just as intended.

Duo includes slightly creamy matte shade and super glittery other half. They pair beautifully together or just used on its own. I prefer to wear them layered, I think shades compliment each other well.

Frosted dust single has tiny shimmer which is white and slightly silver, it gives cool toned look and I love packing it on (swatch was made with two layers just to make sure it was even). It gives my lids frosted look, slight white base with little twinkling stars. I really like this slightly paler eye look at the moment and I wore this shadow so many times already that there is already a slight dip in the pan.
Fairy Dust duo was also made with two swipes in order to make swatches even. Matte part is slightly creamy but very buildable, I prefer to apply it in a more sheer matter, to give my lids even base for the glitter. Other shade is silver glitter, I don't see any base color. To the touch this one is dry and not creamy as the other shade in the pan but still there isn't much fallout with wear. Particles are larger but that is part of the fun. This duo scared ma a bit but after trying them out they are also hard to put down, it is all I want to wear right now.

All formulas wear beautifully through the day (I did wore primer under all three) and there vas no creasing. They give me different looks even though the names are similar.

Duos got refresh and there is now 6 color options available and I think all include creamy matte shade and glittery counterpart. To make things a bit more confusing they also have duos in the same packaging but they aren't glittery but rather metallic, a bit different but i have not tried them in the store so I don't know how the formulas compare but at the moment I am not interested, I am all about shimmers and glitters :)

Thank you for reading and have a nice day
