Smoked Wood

 Hello,

this is the second JudyDoll 7 pan palette, it is also cool toned, more grey than rosy.

This JudyDoll 7 pan palette has a build in mirror which is a nice touch but I miss seeing the shades through. They named it Smoked Wood and I can see this being quite fitting, I like it.

First swatch is bottom left, cool toned grey shade but on my skin is a little more brown than super grey toned. It looks nice as a face contour or a little cool toned shadow in the outer corners.

On top, also in a larger pan is olive glittery shade, this one has larger particles and shines like a diamond. After a long day this glitter does start to fall down on my cheeks a little, I am not too bothered because the sparkle that is left on the eyes is pretty :)

Next to it is lettle brown shade that I like to use in the outer portion of my eyes, creating a bit of a shadow. I like that it is buildable, so it can turn out to be lighter.

To its right is again that weird muted shade, similar to the one in the previous palette. I love it all over my eyes, it is a little different than just a standard cream. I love it on its own or with glitter on top, a great shade.

The darkest shade in the palette is much paler on my skin but I still like it for my brows or as a light liner. It doesn't make a statement but it is nice for an everyday.

Fourth mini shade is grayish brown with shimmer. Shimmer is much smaller but just as beautiful and there is virtually no fall down. I actually prefer this one over the larger glitter.

Last big shade is a light cream, for me this one is barely there but still useful. I can apply it all over my primer to remove the stickiness, slightly highlight my inner corners or just blend the edges. It is a useful shade and it is good to have a big pan of it.

On the bottom photo there are both sparkly shades. First one more sparse and whit larger chunks and second more packed with sparkle but with smaller particles. They are the same shades from the palette but when I started to wear them the base color was gone and they are just sparkly silver shades. I still love them but there isn't much of a difference between them besides the size of sparkles.

Again, mattes are super soft, easy to blend and I love applying them with my fingers and blend with fluffy brush. Shimmer is also amazing but much more dry on the touch, the same goes for the second one, more glittery but that one has some fall down.

Just looking both palettes this one was my least favorite but trying it out I really like it now. There is enough options for me to make simple looks, nothing too spectacular but early in the morrning I also don't have more time to do more elaborate make-up looks. This one is trusty palette and I will get plenty of use.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day
